Go-kart track
Located on a group of islands in the southern part of the Venetian lagoon, Chioggia is a historic town that was overshadowed by its more famous sister, Venice. Despite lacking iconic landmarks like the Doges Palace and Piazza San Marco, Chioggia has its own unique charm. With a population of around 50,000 people, this small town renounces the glitz and glamour of international tourism.
We discovered this location a few years ago and have made it our tradition to come here once a year ever since. The track and the go-karts are a lot of fun and the staff are very friendly. Coming here is always one of the absolute highlights of our vacation.

Really nice staff, the track is awesome and the carts/equipment are in really good condition. The registration procedure was quick and easy and they send you your results via e-mail which is nice :) overall a great experience, thank you !

On the opposite side of the promenade is the Cathedral (Duomo) from the 17th century with many elements of earlier church that were there since the 11th century. Built by the famous architect Baldassare Longhena. The cathedral is dedicated to the saints of Chioggia patrons, Felice e Fortunato. The cathedral is beautiful in its simplicity and leaves a rich impression of monumentality. The altars were made by great Venezian masters Jacopo Palma il Giovane and Francesco Rosa. Next to the church is the bell tower, in the Romanesque style, the Tempietto (small temple), in which it is the oldest art work in the city, polyptych by famous painter Paolo Veneziano. Beautiful Cathedral.

Chioggia's cathedral, built in/by 1627. Interesting artwork inside. The old bell tower from 1347 stands in the square beside the cathedral. On the main street, direction of the train station rather than the sea. Near several smaller churches.

At the end of Corso del Popolo lies Porta Garibaldi, a standalone arch that serves as the entryway to the city center. Adjacent to the marina promenade stands Rifugium Peccatorum, a captivating niche that adds an evocative touch to the area.

Osteria da Nicola is a family-operated eatery that offers traditional dishes made with fresh and seasonal ingredients. Their menu features delectable options such as spaghetti with clams, grilled sea bass, and fried calamari. Locals highly recommend this restaurant as it provides a wide selection of seasonal fish specialties. The food is exceptional, expertly prepared and visually appealing. In addition to the outstanding cuisine, the staff provides top-notch service by catering to each guest's individual preferences.
The Best of the Best that you can get in a small Restaurant. So please don't book it for every day so others will have the chance to taste some too. Definitely worth the money which is relatively low for such delicstesse. And special advice: leave it up to the chef what he has got for the day. It is a must - try experience!!

We were seated and drink orders taken. Then waited over 40 minutes for the head waiter to tell us what the menu was. Other customers arrived after us and were served first. We left. Bad service and terrible arrangement. You have been warned. It's also illegal for a restaurant not to list the menu and pricing to the public anywhere in the establishment.

Excellent Food, very good service. The do not carry a menu they "tell you" the menu. You must make a reservation and it is definitely worth it.
Rommel — Google review
Service: - the weider was kind of rude. - they didn't have boiled potatoes neither vegetables. The only side dishes available were fries or salat - our 3 dishes were served at 3 different time points. So we couldn't eat together. Food: - my squid only dish was overpriced (14€) for the size. The taste was ok. But it came without any decorations or even lemon. - my friends salmon was burned and tasted like that. Just like that. - the fries were selfmade and tasty. Unfortunately cold when our main course was served. Maybe it's better to go for a nice Salat or pasta in that restaurant.

Recommended by locals we visited Osteria da Nicola few days before Christmas and we enjoyed the dinner there very much. They presented us wide variety of seasonal fish specialties. The food was incredibly good and well designed. I have to mention high standard of the behaviour with the guests, to meet their wishes individually. All the staff was kind, smiling and very natural, typical Italian hearty character. Grazie mille ♥️
Lenka Spiritora — Google review
I feel compelled to write this review despite never having dined at this establishment, or even tasted their food. The reason being, I've never set foot inside due to the explicit display of fascist symbols and slogans both outside and within the restaurant. It's baffling and deeply concerning that this place continues to operate unchallenged, with customers, both local and international, seemingly turning a blind eye to such blatant endorsement of a dark, oppressive chapter in history. This situation is akin to encountering a restaurant in Germany brandishing images of Hitler; it's unthinkable and utterly unacceptable. The proprietors' choice to decorate their establishment in this manner is not only in poor taste but also raises questions about the social and moral standards we, as a community, are willing to accept. I refuse to patronize or support any business that glorifies such a heinous period and its ideologies, and I am appalled that it exists in this day and age. Customers should consider the ethical implications of supporting such an establishment.

I still feel very weird about our visit in this restaurant. The food was definitely not worth the money. Fish was plain and tasteless and ravioli wasn’t great neither. For half the money you can get significantly better food outside of Chioggia. The staff looked like they can’t be bothered. Definitely the worst dinner we had in Italy.

We ate at this fine establishment as a night out off a Uniworld cruise in early October. The service was as expected in a fine dining venue. The food menu is limited which shows sophistication and allows the food to be the best it can be. The extensive wine cellar is impressive with many quality wines available at prices to be expected. Our group of five would return in a moment if in the area again.

Patrons can indulge in timeless dishes like clams with spaghetti, grilled sardines, or fried calamari, as well as unique specialties such as polenta with cuttlefish or eel accompanied by onions.
FOOD & INTOLLERANCES: PERFECT FOR GLUTEN FREE The food is very good, the fish is fresh. They do their own homemade desserts. They are very careful when they prepare food for people with allergies and intolerances: I have been there many times, and I never had problems. A lot of choices for celiac: they have gluten free pasta (boiled separately from the other), they prepare gluten free desserts (there is an almond carrot cake which is both gluten free and vegan), their fried products are safe because they fry the fish with rice flour. They have fish for everyone: from the light fish ragù very mild and good for children, and to "baccalà mantecato" or "sarde in store" which both have strong flavors. SERVICE & LOCATION: The personell is kind, and the owner is funny. When he suggests you well when ordering food and wines. The place is clean. Better to order a table because they get full easily because the locals love to eat there. Good prices and good quantities.
