Something that you are not expect to find in such a small town. Nice architecture and interesting exhibitions. A must see when in Andros island.

Fantastic place with a lot of details about art and the artist. All the staff is helpful about the questions that we had.
Giannis Mikedis — Google review
Great exhibition of Mytaras, but I was very disappointed about the building: it stands on a privileged point of Chora by the sea, but it has no windows at all! What a waste of a wonderful view that could have been combined with great art. You feel like in a basement. It’s quite claustrophobic.

Nice greek modern art. worth a visit.
Bounty Cortez — Google review
Very nice building which blends perfectly in the surroundings, white small and compact but big enough. The main building has each summer a retrospective of a different celebrated artist and there's also a very small permanent collection in a smaller area across. Depending the show it can be interesting and worth a visit, after all you don't find everyday such a nice modern art museum on a Greek island. A big minus are the weird opening hours. Check them before you go...

Dimitri the owner of his family oil mill was terrific, lots of history and technical information about how things work. The 400 year old building is a very unique structure with architectural stone arches. No entry fee but donations accepted.

Amazing story and owner of a museum. It gives you an impression of being bit closer to the history. Thank you for extreme passion for creating such place with soul and history.
Iryna Zyaylyk — Google review
It was a very nice experience. The owner was so friendly, gave us, so to say, a private tour through the museum. We would recommend the visit to everybody, who will visit Andros. The owner suggested us to try Loukoumades and we did - it was so delicious...Thanks a lot for this advice 😍
Ta Hei — Google review
I've visited this museum today and it's easily one of the best experiences I've had in a museum even though it's quite small. The owner and restorer, Dimitri, guides you around the mill and tells you about the history of olive oil and the procedure of making it. The coolest thing about it is that after he restored it himself after the mill being abandon in 1960, he and local farmers and his parents made olive oil there and he documented the whole thing for everybody to see. A very interesting museum even for people who normally aren't interested in olive oil. Definitely a recommended visit.
Milo Huikeshoven — Google review
An excellence experience! Congrats to the owner of this initiative for showing how the best olive oil in the world (Hellenic) is produced with the traditional way.
Ch. Arlamis — Google review
When you visit Andros you really have to make some time to visit this privat museum. The owner gives a very enthusiastic tour and tells you everything you must know about olive oil. From now on I will watch the labels more carefully when I buy my olive oil! We really enjoyed the tour and find it valuable how the owner has saved this piece off history!
Sylvia Stienstra — Google review
Great little place and personal tour! A lot of hard work and effort has gone into it and it shows. Definitely worth a quick detour, call to check opening times!

The story behind this rebuilt working olive press is entirely heartwarming and a reminder of simpler and more meaningful times. Dimitrios is a delightful man. I took the whole family this time. Noone was disappointed with the experience. Thank you for sharing this Dimitrios.

The best beach on Andros. It is protected, the water is calm and beautiful to swim in. The road is quite bumpy to get here, but well worth the drive when you see the beach and bay. There’s a beach bar serving good snacks and drinks. There are umbrellas/beach beds to hire, but also plenty of room if you’d prefer to sit away from these.
Fiona Carter — Google review
Great looking beach, probably one of the best in Andros in terms of looks and views, but that's about it. The waters are crystal clear, but it's really not that safe to swim in, so beware of jellyfish lurking on the inside and always be fully prepared if it comes down to being stung. The road to get there isn't all that pleasing either as many others have mentioned before me. Needless to say it's worth going once simply for the experience, assuming the weather is ideal!
Stefanos Lobanov — Google review
Wow this beach is great! Crystal clear water. We did not stay at the organized part of the beach so I cannot say a lot about the beach bar and sun beds. The water gets very deep very quickly and it comes with waves. Our second favorite beach so far
Tasty Nat Nut — Google review
10 minute offroad drive but definitely worths it. Crystal clear green and blue water, sand, ideal for swimming. Must visit when in Andros.
Panos Mologousis — Google review
Bring your beach accesories or not, everything you need is here, food, umbrella and ice cold beer. Put your receipt under your sit and enjoy.
Matej Rauch — Google review
In my opinion the top beach in Andros . You find parking easily. The dirty road is about 3.2 km and it's totally accessible by car and motorcycle . Regarding sunbeds (6euro per set). Concerning waters(are deep and crystal clear) ..keep in mind and don't bring your l kids that don't know swimming (waters are not shallow )
Georgios Stratigos — Google review
The beach looks beautiful but because of north wind we didn't manage to swim so left, quite a disappointment considering the long and bumpy road we had to drive to get there. Check the weather before you hit the road.
Eirini Garoufalia — Google review
Great beach, wide, the water is excellent, pebbles inside, clear and see through. Definetely a must. The last 3 km to the beach are a gravel road, but its pretty good, any car can get there. Nice bar at the beach with drinks and snacks.

Super easy to reach by car, there are 3 beach bars but also a lot of open space! Clean, sandy and shallow waters, the kids enjoyed it a lot! It's also very close to Gavrio, and there is a very good pizza and burger place right next to it
Thanos Ts — Google review
Beautiful big sand beach with three bars offering umbrellas and still a lot of private space. If windy: Secure your umbrella!
Bounty Cortez — Google review
Nothing intetesting here...way way too overpraised beach. It's mostly frequented by elders(60-70+)with untidy sand mixed with rocks, straws, cigarette butts algae debris and other plastic debris. The water is relative shallow with sandy bottom...a bit blurry..not exactly" crystal clear" as described by many...noting intetesting to see...would't recommend it for snorkeling.
Paul Alexandru n — Google review
The place has nice water but the beach is not so clean and some of the sunbeds are super old. The music is nice though. Probably you can find nicer place in the area.
Anna Lipinska — Google review
This place is over crowded and very noisy. It's detroying this beautifull and peacefull place. Please, don't go there. Moreover, they offer some dangerous activities for people who are swimming next arround without any environmental respect.
O D — Google review
Fabulous beach. I think one of the best in Andros. Water crystal clear. There is also a beach bar more suited for young couples. At the western part of the beach the wind eases down and you can use your umbrella. Good for snorkeling.
Thomas Giouvris — Google review
Same as Chrysi Akti (sandy beach, shallow crystal clear waters) but the beach is bigger and less crowded.
Yiannis Karalis — Google review
If the wind is not an issue (and a wild guess would be that it's not, since you are considering a trip to Andros) you will think that you are in paradise. Long beach, long drinks, long memories. If you have children you will skip the long drinks probably, but they will enjoy the beach, without the fear of deeper waters. Simply amazing and not as pricey and crowded as some other Greek islands. You should visit!

Sea Satin Nino is a popular all-day bar, cafe, and restaurant located in the remote Korthi Bay on Andros Island. The owner, Dimitris Giginis, aims to establish Korthi as the island's culinary hub and has declined offers to relocate. The restaurant offers a unique twist on Greek cuisine and is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy delicious dishes and wines while being served by friendly and attentive staff in a charming setting under beautiful trees.
Beautiful restaurant with terrace at the centre of the village. The owner is a very kind man. A lot of detailed information about the wines and local menu's. We enjoyed the fish of the day, a true Feast. We highly recommend the Vermouth with Rose leaf

This is a very good food experience, seriously I just wandered in without any preconceived ideas and after the food was presented I new on the first mouthful that it was totally top quality and fabulous. The tastes and textures were wonderful and I must say I just enjoyed the entire experience. The staff were very happy and friendly and to finish off the aspect from dining outside in the fresh air watching the slow village life was most relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks for the great lunch. Recommend 👍😄👍

The service was nice and friendly. However when I asked for some soap and paper in the bathroom the lady told me that she does not have time to put some and I should use the antiseptic. We 've heard good things about this restaurant and our expectations were high. Most dishes were OK (I found mine quite blant) but nothing really special. Some portions were noticeably small and the teenagers were not happy. The sauce that came with the chips had a really bad taste like it was old or had gone bad. We ordered a sweet and then they said that there was not any left. All in all I would not recommend it. Happy to pay more for quality and originality but I thought they cannot excel in either.

After asking about our mains, that were 50 min late, the head waiter was extremely rude. The fish was cooked nicely but the garnish was tasteless and dull. Not worth the price.
Fotis Arfaras — Google review
An off season visit. Not many other diners. Good service. My wife had a decent cocktail - in fact two. The food was very good - the combination of flavours above average for sure. The only strange thing was the arrival of a starter ( a very nice generous portion of homemade crisps with a yoghurt dip) at the end.
Mark Bryden — Google review
We visited the restaurant during our stay in Andros. I understand this operates as an all day cafe-restaurant. We ordered: 1) Salad: Refreshing and nice 2) Thinly cut deep fried potatoes: Cannot go wrong with these 3) Selection of cold cuts and cheeses: Good raw materials 4) Grilled calamari: For me it was too chewy. Could not eat it 5) Grouper with fried okra: The grouper was a bit overcooked but was tasty. I have a feeling the okra was frozen The restaurant is on the pricier side but I am afraid it does not live to the expectations that the menu prices create. I would advise to pay more attention to detail

Oti Kalo is a restaurant situated in Batsi, Andros, offering an exceptional dining environment and a remarkable culinary journey. After exploring the Cyclades archipelago for nearly a month, this establishment stood out as the finest eatery encountered. With two visits made, both meals proved to be outstanding in terms of flavor, texture, and overall quality. The prices were reasonable considering the excellence of ingredients and cooking techniques employed. Moreover, the service was attentive and personalized.
The best hosting we've experienced in Greece. The tastiest food we've enjoyed on this trip. Beautiful views over the bay, pleasant background music. We ate: tuna steak, seafood risotto, salmon fillet, T bone steak (and a load of appetisers!)

We ordered 4 main dishes one of them was a T-bone steak which was excellently done the rest of the pasta dishes were not seasoned at all tasteless. The restaurant was very nicely arranged and the service was top. They usually say that the restaurant is very good, I don't know what happened to them that day

During our stay in Andros we visited Oti kalo. We ordered: 1) Salad: mixed greens with soft cheese and balsamic vinegar. Refreshing 2) Tarama salad: Tasty fish roe 3) Feta sticks 4) Fish fillet and 5) Whole fish on the grill Service was fast and professional and the food had a good quality- price ratio. Once in Batsi give it a try!

We have been travelling the Cyclades (and one Dodecanese isle) for the past 27 days and this was the best restaurant we found - ate here twice, both meals superb, taste , texture, the lot - and pretty good prices, particularly for the quality of both ingredients and cooking. Great personal attentive service too. You won’t be disappointed. In fact you will be delighted.

Even though this place is placed among other tourist traps that serve a bang for the buck midiocre food, this restaurant is far from it! As a vegan and vegetarian couple, it can be challenging to find suitable dining options in Greece. However, at Endochora, this is not an issue. The staff here are accommodating and patient, providing a detailed explanation of the vegan options available on the menu. The service is commendable, with three friendly and professional waiters and waitresses attending to customers' needs. The food is exceptional, comprising of fresh produce such as pasta and vegetables.
Simply the best restaurant in the mainland of Andros ( Chora )!!! Decent variety of cuisines, very good cooking, reasonable prices, really good portions! I've been there at least twice in my 4 recent visits in Andros. Along with Hot Spot, they are hands down the best places to eat in Andros! The carbonara with chicken was awesome. The fresh fish they serve each day is also wonderful and accompanied by complement handmade sauces. I guarantee you'll like it more than any other place in Chora :)

Our boat captain recommended that we prioritize getting a dinner reservation here, so we stopped by and found a way to make it possible. As a vegan, vegetarian couple you sometimes have a hard time finding a good place to eat in Greece. Not so in this restaurant. After mentioning that we prefer not to eat meat or fish, the waiter patiently explained all vegan options on the menu. We got served by three waitresses and waiters, all being very friendly and professional. The food was excellent, with fresh pasta and vegetables. The interior and outside tables are stylish and cosy. I can highly recommend this restaurant, foremost for the courteous service.

From start to finish our meal at Endochora Andros was top notch! They were so gracious, in seating us even though we didn’t have a reservation! Their service was impeccable with super friendly and attentive staff, who answered our questions and even re-explained the evening’s specials. We got the seafood pasta which was loaded with prawns, and clams and cooked perfectly aldente. I got the braised lamb which was served over a bed of fried and mashed potatoes with a tasty gravy. In all my years of eating lamb, this is the best lamb I have ever had the privilege of eating! It was so tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned, with broiled crispy bits and a well balanced amount of fat. I wish I had two stomachs to repeat it. We finished off with a chocolate molten cake and vanilla ice cream drizzled with locally sourced olive oil. Beginning to end, an amazing meal, made even better by the cozy and refined atmosphere. If you’re ever in Chora, EndoChora is a must! Thank you so much Endochora Andros for the lovely culinary experience!

I had a delicious meal of fish of the day, my dinner companion wasn't as pleased with her meal as the calamari came out cold. The server was incredible, prompt, courteous, explained everything very well, offered an excellent wine recommendation and made sure he made the situation with the calamari right. Carry your vaccination card because outdoor seating fills up fast and you need your proof of Vax to be seated indoors. I do recommend this restaurant.
Roz Romuno — Google review
Limited but sophisticated and well designed menu. The wine list is wide enough to find a good match for the main course - or your preference - and includes wisely selected labels from several well-established Greek wineries. We were ecstatic with the green salad with nuts, raisins, figs, sesame and honey, which is named after the restaurant as its signature salad of course. We also appreciated the chef's version of beetroot salad, which was totally to our liking, served with nuts, a slight touch of garlic and dill. For the main course we went for the red meat, even though the fish "special of the day" was definitely an exquisite alternative. We totally recommend the black Angus grilled scallop and you should definitely consider having it medium-rare to appreciate the high quality and tenderness of the veal. The second main course we went for was crispy pork pancetta accompanied with celeriac and apple puree wonderfully dressed with an orange and honey sauce. Many thanks to the chef and the restaurant staff for the wonderful experience!

Nice place in the center of the capital of the island. We ordered a salad that was not as expected (taste wise) so I started feeling nervous for the main courses. The sandy beach and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, accompanied by relaxing music. The dishes served at this cozy spot are truly outstanding, ensuring a perfect ending to an enjoyable day on this breathtaking island.
Whenever you go to Andros, don’t miss that place. A combination of chilling, surfing (and other watersports) and eating. Leaded by two guys, that know their business well! Being kind, helpful and fair together is the old Greek way and it is so charming. We where a bit in trouble, because everything rentable was out and the way from the harbour to the beach was to far. That’s why we asked a cool guy at the gasstation, filling his gasoline containers. Without any delay he invited us to come in his car to the beach - the Greek way. Thank you again by the way! Wesurfin is located on the beach of Kipri. You’ll find sunbeds close to the bar, a restaurant behind it and the watersports next to both. The prices are very moderate and the selection of drinks, foods and equipment for fun on the water is great. Supplementary or perfect fitting a choice of chilling music. We’ll come back!

Pay close attention to the very strong wind that can take everything off the table!

We decided to try something different after several days of traditional Greek cuisine and were pleasantly surprised by Rodia Pizza-Pasta & Grill. Despite the risk of eating Italian in Greece, the food we had, including two pasta dishes and one meat dish, was delicious and enjoyable. The house wine also impressed us. The service provided by the owner lady was polite and friendly. We definitely plan on returning for another dinner at this restaurant, which offers a pleasant outside seating area right by the sea with comfortable seats.
The waiter was professional and worked quickly and courteously, the food was excellent, we ate the Nagasaki shrimp, vegetarian pizza and Hoffman schnitzel. The shrimp were really great, the only thing maybe to improve is the wind protection because it was really cold, but other than that it's a great place

When you're on a Greek island, there aren't enough places to eat that aren't the usual tavernas. Eating Italian in Greece was kind of risky, but all we had (2 pasta and one meat dish) was tasty, and really nice. The house wine was very nice, too. Service and the owner lady were very polite and friendly. We will surely go back for another dinner. The restaurant has a pleasant outside seating area, directly at the sea, and with comfortable seating.

I had a lovely meal at Podia pizza-pasta & Grill. The wait staff were very friendly and my meal was delicious. You could taste the quality in the ingredients they use. ♥️

Descent food, great atmosphere, especially if you book by the sea. Prices were reasonable for near the sea restaurant, service was friendly

This is the place to go for tasty food, the pizza's have generous toppings and the salads are delicious. The staff are also helpful and friendly. Highly recommended if you fancy something as a change to Greek food.

An Italian restaurant that has everything pizzas, pastas, and very tasty grills and prices equal to every pocket worth going back there and we will go back there

Wow! Simply amazing! Didn't go to Andros expecting to love the food as much, but this restaurant completely blew my mind! Been there not just once, but twice during my trip, cause once truly wasn't enough! The location of the restaurant, in combination with the beautiful view of the port resulted in an ideal atmosphere to gulp down this awesome food! Staff was so easy-going and ready to serve at the blink of an eye! Quality of the food was as high as one could get and the prices were really affordable for the excellency of the dishes! Would without-a-doubt suggest this restaurant to the people i love! You'll be missed Greece 🇬🇷🥲😘
