The Casa d'Areny-Plandolit is a museum that was constructed in 1633 and currently showcases opulent furnishings and luxury products from the 19th century. The establishment also features exhibits on local history, including landscapes of the Pirennes mountains. Despite its fascinating story, visitors cannot take pictures due to an old-fashioned policy. Nevertheless, this museum comes highly recommended for those interested in learning about the region's past.
Very interesting, great story, knowledgeable guide, loved this place. It's only a pity that pictures are now allowed. It's so old fashioned, this policy. Anyways, highly recommended!

Really interesting museum. Very informative audio guide and amazing hologram presentation. Touching family story and a lot of information about history and governance of Andorra. Well worth visiting!

Nice landscapes in Pirennes mountains

Casa d'Areny-Plandolit is a must when visiting Andorra! It's a great way to see a traditional Andorran house, but one lived in by a historically important family. The audio guide is a great way to learn about the house, the Areny-Plandolit family and the history of Andorra! Tickets are €5 or with a PassMuseu €2.50. Highly recommend!

Interesting museum! Beautiful rooms, I especially loved the library. The audioguide is informative and not too long.

Very well put together museum about this prominent and influential family. Lots of original artifacts and furniture, really nicely presented. Free audio guides. Don't miss the hologram presentation! We really enjoyed our visit, we spent just over an hour here and it was enough time to see it all. €7 entry

Building is interesting and audio guide is helpful. Worth a 30 min stop. Girls staffing the front were unhelpful and seemed bothered that we had decided to ruin their time on their phones by showing up. Didn't tell us anything useful, didn't tell us the postal museum was included, acted shocked when asked if there were facilities (of course not!).
Rebecca Miller — Google review
We only visited this museum because it was a combined ticket with the postal museum (5€) but to our surprise it was pretty interesting. With the information from the audio guide, we learned a lot about the family's history and how it is connected to the Andorran one. Definitly give this a try if you are interested in another perspective on Andorra as this is not a typical Andorran family from this time. On a side note the staff was very kind!

Beautiful church in beautiful area of Ordino

(Translated by Google) It was a wonderful experience, since we entered this small church in the town of Ordino, it is very beautiful and cozy even though there was no one inside it and with an original decoration. We took advantage of the occasion to swear love at the altar. I recommend it!!.

(Translated by Google) What is interesting is a polychrome wooden Madonna from the end of the 11th century, beginning of the 12th century. And some baroque altarpieces. Outside, it is worth noting a "comunidor" that was used for protection ceremonies against storms. But Andorra has much more beautiful churches. Despite everything, the town of Ordino is worth visiting. (Original) El que té d’interessant és una Mare de Déu de fusta policromada de finals del segle XI, primers del segle XII. I uns retaules barrocs. A l’exterior, cal destacar un “comunidor” que servia per cerimònies de protecció contra les tempestes. Però Andorra té esglèsies molt més boniques. Malgrat tot, val la pena visitar el poble d’Ordino.

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful church in a beautiful town. If you go to Andorra be sure to visit it and have a coffee on one of its terraces. It's worth it, without a doubt. (Translated by Google) It is a great pity that there are no multilingual information sheets available. You also have to spend a lot of time looking for a parking space. The church itself is worth seeing, especially the tower, main altar and the seamless transition to the adjacent residential building.

The Museum of Miniature is a unique and fascinating place to visit, featuring an array of tiny objects that are sure to captivate visitors. While it may be known for its Russian nesting dolls, the museum also showcases microscopic art on rice grains and even within needles. Visitors can marvel at the incredible level of detail in these minuscule creations, as well as painted bottles and handcrafted boxes. The museum offers a one-of-a-kind experience, making it well worth the price of admission.
A very interesting museum. The first of its kind I've every visited. It might be the only one of its kind..? Well worth the entry ticket. I found all the objects on display very fascinating. Especially the miniscule/microscopic items. They should've called it the microscopic museum, because when say 'miniature museum', I thought it was going to be a museum of miniature models of buildings or stuff like that.😬
Justine Lau — Google review
A great little museum full of nesting dolls, icons, lacquer boxes, and microscopic art on rice or in needles. Many from a well known Ukrainian artist. We went in August, high tourist season but no wait. A lovely quaint town as well, a nice respite from the crowds of Andorra la Vella.
Catherine Dodge — Google review
A bit of a random museum; miniature art combined with painted bottles, handcrafted boxes and matryoshka dolls. It is small but interesting, especially the miniature art. The lady giving me a short tour was very enthusiastic and nice.
Jeanine — Google review
We chanced upon this museum and it was fantastic. The pieces here are remarkable and varied and the guide was passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
David P — Google review
We went here with the car club and it isn't just Russian Dolls but also tiny engravings on pips and grains of rice etc that you look at through a microscope. The detail is truly unbelievable. There are also small bottle painted on the inside and a video to see how it is done again quite incredible. It's a unique place to visit.
Trisha Kelly — Google review
The microminiatures are really fascinating. They have a few other exhibits with Russian dolls and a Chinese artist that paints the inside of little bottles. Cool stuff and worth the 5 euro entry just to see the microminiatures.
Raymond Collins — Google review
Amazing museum!!! A must go to if you are in Andorra. Also the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.
Yolanda Santa Cruz — Google review
Without a doubt the coolest part of the museum for me was the really miniature creations that could only really be seen through the microscope, as seen in my pictures!
