Sicilian restaurant
Trattoria LinguaGrossa is a delightful eatery situated in the heart of town, adjacent to the magnificent baroque cathedral. The service is exceptional and the prices are affordable, making it an ideal choice for diners. The rabbit and mixed meat dishes come highly recommended, as does their selection of local Etna house wine and impressive array of Etna wines for those seeking something more extravagant. The staff are helpful and accommodating, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
One of our best dinners in Sicily. the food and the service was really good. The location in the village and the music enhanced the experience. Even the wine by glass was high quality.

Great food and helpful staff. We went twice because the food was excellent. They suggested two great bottles of Etna wines. Don't think twice, just book a table and enjoy! Worth a try.

Great little place in the very centre of town next to the impressive baroque cathedral. Great and helpful service and quite friendly prices. Can recommend the rabbit as well as mixed meat dish. Good local Etna house wine as well as impressive Etna wine selection for something more fancy.

Amazing food, especially the desert - ravioli with ricotta cheese and Vendredi 13 wine. Service was great as well, recommend to go there if passing by.

Staff were nice. Waiter spoke English. Toilets were clean. Inside the restaurant is very nice. There are a few liquors and other nice tasting items for purchase. Accommodated for dietary requirements. We ate with a table of 10. There was air-conditioning. I has the risotto and it was delicious. The beef slices were also tasty. Food was fresh and there was a good atmosphere. Family friendly. Change table in the toilet and high chairs.

Nice location, good food (especially the starters). The "Norma without pasta" was out of this world. The beef tartare was also good. Friendly service. I found the prices a bit excessive. We had two starters, three pastas and one main for a party of five. One glass of wine, two bottles of water, two espressos. 99 euro is out of whack with what we ordered. The kids' maccheroni al ragù (2 x €10) was especially stingy. My daughter aged 8 asked me if it was a starter. Truth from the mouth of babes... When people are stingy with pasta it really bothers me, hence the three stars.

A true gem. Excellent food, friendly staff, even down to choosing the wine to compliment the lamb main course. Returning without hesitation.

After a lengthy hike, we were aimlessly searching for dinner and paused to peruse the menu when the owner arrived with a fresh assortment of fruits and vegetables - indicating that this was the place to be. We eagerly entered (by ringing the bell!) and promptly found ourselves seated in a beautiful, cozy dining area. The menu offered a small yet expertly crafted selection of dishes that promised an outstanding culinary experience.
Rosario is a great host, very professional and kind. His food is genuine and special, you can find traditional sicilian dishes and the atmosphere is lovely. My friends and I were really happy we have chosen this restaurant. I would recommend it with no hesitation.
Grazia Savoca — Google review
Aside for them being kind enough to let us in during the annual celebrations for the town's patron, I found that their customer service was excellent. Furthermore, the meat was of high quality and certainly on par with other high-end restaurants. It would be a shame for this place to remain in the shadows much longer!

This is a wonderful restaurant with an incredibly attentive wait staff. Every dish was exceptional.

It was recommended by a guide on our Etna tour and what a great recommendation… From the outside it doesn’t look much, but when you step inside the atmosphere is great, nice easy music… The food was excellent, service fast. Sausage meatballs, apparently their specialty, were really good, so was tagliata, parmigiana, … Worth a visit if you’re there.

After a long hike, we were aimlessly searching for dinner and had stopped to read the menu when the owner arrived with the daily haul of fresh fruits and vegetables - that sold us, this was the place! We were the first at the door (ring the bell!) and were quickly seated and attended to in the beautiful, cozy dining area. The menu selection is small and perfectly crafted for a wonderful meal. My husband, a vegetarian, loved his mixed grill of local vegetables and we both had the Ravioli (with pistachio and strawberries!!) for our first plate. Everything was perfect - from the service, to the atmosphere and most importantly, every bite of food!

Wonderful lunch, beautiful food and friendly host. Enjoyed pasta with a pistachio cream. Would love to come back!

Amazing! Really good quality food and fantastic service. We had a lunch reservation that we showed up early for. They seated us right away. They showed us the other room full of their wine selection, and they helped us pick out a wine. The food was great, service outstanding, and the decor looks nice. Can't wait to go back.

We were invited to Boccaperta by my friend Fabio, an amazing winemaker. We enter the restaurant and we met Saro the owner - the best host I've ever seen- elegant, charming, discrete. He suggested us a starter, composed by fried cheeses, artchockes. My friends got some primi, tagliatelle fresh pasta with truffle and pacchero pasta carbonara with wild asparagus. I got the lamb. All the dishes were amazing, perfectly cooked. Saro and his wife, the chef, have the most important ingredient, something you cant buy at the local market: they have passion and love for this job, they care about food and people. Thanks again for hosting us yesterday. See you soon for another amazing lunch. Oh, and the wine list is incredible. Go discover it!! I Personally love them

Great selection of local wine at great price range , very helpful advice from the waiter. Fantastic food, including ravioli, steak and goulash.
Aleksey Yeremenko — Google review
At first the place seems classy and pleasant. The waiter was polite. The food was delicious and presented neatly. The disappointment kicked in when I ordered a glass of wine, asked to try it but instead the waiter poured me the whole glass without letting me taste it. Because other customers were given a different treatment literally sitting at a table next to us, I consider this unprofessional service, especially taking into account the variety of wine served. Pricing is, of course, free to be determined by the owner of the restaurant. However, we have found the prices to be extravagant for the food that’s served. The atmosphere of the place is casual-chic, although if you’re expecting a pleasant place to have a meal, I’d suggest looking further.

Restaurant
The restaurant Ristorante Monte Conca offers a delightful dining experience with its charming ambiance and impressive views. Despite the rainy weather, the cozy atmosphere created by the fireplace added to the overall appeal. The attentive waiter, Angelo, enhanced the enjoyment of the visit by sharing his knowledge about local cuisine and engaging in jovial conversation. This place is highly recommended for its excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. Skiers also frequented this establishment after their activities, highlighting its popularity among visitors.
Our guide for Etna mountain trekking recommended us this restaurant and we were very satisfied. It was not very crowded for late lunch and the employees were very friendly and had good vibe with my family. We enjoyed most of mushroom dishes (mushroom pasta, mushroom soup, mushroom side dish) and also grilled steak and pork ribs. The desert were good although a bit small. There were many bees near our table in the terrace which my niece was a bit scared of but it did not prohibit us from enjoying the view, the food and the good humor of the people working at the restaurant.

Poor experience. Used to be great, I went many time during my childhood but now is just a big NO. Paid 76€ for a lower level food and we felt we got ripped. Poor service and also long times to wait. Served in a poor manner with not their typical flavour. I will give them a chance again to rewin my loyalty but now I will not keep a good memories of this time.

Very nice place with a view of Etna. The mushroom (porcini) soup is highly recommended – very delicious! Just perfect!

It seems a pleasant place as I could see on the skiers who were there to eat and drink after skiing. We just dropped by for a beer. Staff was very kind, the place itself has a good ambiance. Beer was good enough. I recommend this place and hope to come back for longer period.

Lovely lunch here! Great experience. We went there on a rainy day in June when we were unable to clearly see the Etna. The fireplace was on, creating a cosy atmoshphere. Our waiter, Angelo, was so kind and made the whole experience more enjoyable! He knew about the food, the region, and shared jokes. Cannot recommend this place enough, we loved it!

In October at 12 a.m. they dont serve food in here? Waste of time for everyone who wants quick snack before Etna expedition. Sicilians are so lazy...

We stayed for three nights at this stylish renovated palace. The rooms are cool and modern. There are little signs of wear and tear. we didn’t visit the restaurant but once had breakfast. The breakfast what delicious but when we asked for a fresh orange juice it was a little bit complicated. What one misses at the Hotel is a warm lobby. It just has a small bar with one sofa and two seats in front. With one word it is very cool. The village has except the restaurant of the hotel at least three more very good restaurants. In walking distance you can go to these restaurants with a high Quality. The staff is very friendly but I had to carry my luggage upstairs on my own. The hotel is a good starting point to visit Taormina.

An excellent boutique hotel with a fantastic Michelin star restaurant. Staff super nice and helpful. We booked it last minute and we were so pleasantly welcomed. The restaurant was incredibly nice, the food and the service was worth more than just the single Michelin star. So refreshing to find this excellence right off the tourist main stream.

We had planned on doing some wine tastings around Etna Nord and made contact with Shalai - they offered a very good package including the chef’s tasting menu, overnight stay in a deluxe room and breakfast. We really enjoyed everything about our stay from start to finish. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room had lovely light and stayed quiet in spite of the concert going on nearby in the town square. The chef’s tasting menu was delicious and we were recommended a good Etna white wine based on our preferences. The chef’s menu was a mix of the meat and fish menu - heavier on the fish with a really beautiful chickpea-based dish and excellent orange sorbet. The menu was an excellent way to sample a number of Sicilian flavours. I didn’t get any photos of the meal, but the presentation of each was beautiful. The breakfast was also very tasty with a selection of pastries and savoury items (pictured). There is also an egg menu where it is possible to order an omelette, etc. We went for the Egg Benedict and it was a stunning dish - it is a single egg with some beautiful bacon and a mustard flavoured hollandaise. I hope I never forget how delicious it was. We didn’t make use of the spa facilities so can’t comment on them. The wifi is very good.

We went for an evening meal. This is well worth it. A bit tricky to find but a nice venue with a pleasant back garden. Not over done and you are well looked after. Decided to follow the chef inspiration for the 7 courses: every dish was refined and a pleasant combination of the best ingredients from the island. Some interesting surprises also. Wine was a very interesting experience, went only with local wines under the choice of the staff. This was truly a unique and memorable experience.

We have been to this hotel a number of times and eat at the restaurant. Never disappointed with the latter. We cannot comment on the larger rooms as we have not tried one.

Perfect place to spend couple of days in Linguaglossa. The ambiance is intimate and feels very cosy. Beds are comfy and rooms very clean. We did love fresh made croissants and pastries in the morning.

Review for accomodation and breakfast: We had the deluxe room. Friendly service from reception. The room was worth every penny. Well appointed, great shower and comfy bed - the balcony overlooks an indoor courtyard and is comfy. The breakfast and service was incredible. Review for restaurant: Food was great and food service good to match. We had the fish degustation menu. Don't go for wine pairing. The wine doesn't go with the food and you're at the mercy of the wine waiter who isn't attentive - we would have preferred a bottle chosen by us (we have loved the wine pairing elsewhere and like paying the extra for nice wine - alas). This part let down the meal..shame. We were served an acidic wine with the delicate starters and a rose with the fried cod - if anything that should be the other way around (except the rose was dull and I wouldn't have it with anything). I would have expected better matches and options

Pizza restaurant
If you happen to be in Linguaglossa, make sure you visit Sciaramanica Ristorante Pizzeria. This establishment offers top-notch and sizable pizzas, which are highly recommended by the locals. Not only is their pizza delicious, but the portions are also larger than what you would typically expect. Therefore, if you're looking for a great place to enjoy a satisfying meal in town, this restaurant should definitely be on your list of options.
Good and tasty pizza. Portions are very big, over the average
Giovanni Spadaro — Google review
We were there on Sunday evening. We arrived at 21.30. 1 hour were waiting for the order to be taken and another hour the pizzas to be brought! The draft Heineken was warm. The pizzas are big but expensive if you compare to the other places. And actually nothing special... There is no place to change a baby. Asked to warm the milk and they forgot it and almost boiled! I'm dissapointed. Maybe this place is good for other people. It was croudy enough.
