Friendly staff, decent presentation, burger and chips good.. the prawn noodles lacked enough flavour/ didn't taste as good as it looked and not a fan of their grilled chicken and rice personally. I hear the steaks and chops are good however

Ordered paya but the portion I got was too small which for £17 was definitely not worth it. In addition it was not clean and had too much hair everywhere. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL

Food was lovely. Not as spicy as I'd hoped but still very tasty. It was a bit quiet so the atmosphere wasn't great but it was a little early in the evening so may be better later on. Overall an enjoyable meal

There's no doubting the vision and ambition of Sahara Grill. It's an imaginatively conceived restaurant with little expense spared. As a grill house, they offer an extenstive menu, with dishes that are presented straightforwardly. We can't help but wonder, however, how much better these could be if a small fraction of the creativity put into the aesthetical side of things was put into elevating and refining some, especially the mains and especially to justify the prices of a few. There was no faulting their service though. Front of house was regimented, being as welcoming and as accommodating as any restaurant we've been to.

I haven’t visited this branch for a couple years. We got some wings, prawns and for the mains, we got sirloin steaks (should’ve been medium). 🥩 Food was ok. I was a little disappointed with the steak on this occasion as my steak was really chewy even though I ordered medium. However no complaints with the wings and prawns, it was good. Atmosphere: plenty of seating available. That evening it wasn’t super busy. Service: staff were friendly and available when needed.

Friendly staff, food was satisfying but didn't feel like it was worth raving about. Best thing was probably the curly fries and halloumi. Not against giving it another shot but definitely not a favourite. They have porterhouse cuts which isn't very common around here, though put their own blend on flavouring it.

Walked in on a Friday evening and fortunately got a table for the 4 of us. Not sure how busy this place usually is these days, although I do recall this restaurant was particularly busy pre-covid. We were promptly seated by a friendly staff member who was attentive and made suggestions on what to order to help out. I ordered the ocean delight, which is a fillet of salmon doused in mushroom sauce that also comes with a couple of pieces of bread and some salad. I also got myself a Mango Frappe as my drink. It did not take too long for the food to arrive. The portion was a decent amount, the salmon fillet was decent, lots of mushroom sauce, salad was fine although the bread seemed lacking. Tasting the salmon, this was well cooked and is paired well with the sauce and is tasty. The pieces of plain bread were fine, however there were not many pieces, which was a shame. The salad tasted fine for what it was, however it was not fresh and certainly could have been a lot better. The mango frappe was cold and refreshing and has that mango taste, although you could also taste that it was not a fresh mango being used. Again, a shame. Overall, this was a decent meal with a few oversights that stop it becoming a great meal. The lack of fresh ingredients used contributing to that. Interestingly, at the top of the menu it is stated that only fresh ingredients are used. The pricing doesn’t quite match with the food quality and portion - see image. The salmon was almost £16 and the frappe at almost £6. For me, these are prices for better and higher quality food whereas the food provided was more like a decent casual dining experience. This is a decent place to visit as a one-off and not a bad option for on occasion meal if you are fine with a decent setting and casual food experience whilst also not being too concerned with budgets.

Excellent place to have some steaks. Had the saute combo which contains 2 beef and 2 chicken steaks cut into strips with either rice or chips. Both steaks came covered with their respective sauces which made them soft, juicy and succulent. The service from the staff was also welcoming, friendly and prompt. Will definitely go again.

My family and I have loved this place for years! We most recently for Mother’s Day and got a lamb steak, a chicken steak burger and the grilled prawns - all super delicious and out to our table in no time at all. It was a lot of food so we got some packed to take back home. We love this place and will be visiting again in the future.

My wife, son, nephew and I dropped into the restaurant on Saturday at around 1pm. It was very quiet with only one other table being utilised. We were immediately seated by the very friendly and helpful Nazrul. We ordered the classic burger, sautéed chicken, red hot burger & the XXL tropical chicken burgers as our mains with a side order of Sahara chicken wings. All the mains were accompanied by steak cut chips. I have to say we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. My classic burger (single) was full of flavour and the others said the same about their options as well as enjoying the chips dipped in their chilli sauce. The atmosphere was a little lacking but the service by Nazrul and the food was very good. I expect we will be back soon. The one downside is the lack of suitable parking nearby and it took me a while to find a suitable place.

Fantastic local spot. Prayer room, c and delicious food. i Highly advise the grilled chicken. Iqbal bhai was our host and he advised the t bone steak and chips which was great. Always a good night coming here, have done so for many yrs !

Excellent experience food wise been coming her for 15 years and the staff know us like family now. Every time I come the food is consistent and the service is always a 10/10 by all staff especially NAZRUL who remembers our order precisely pays attention to every detail. His customer service is 10/10! And other staff are just as good. We would recommend the lamb chops BBQ burger Lamb fillet steak , chicken tenders and curly fries there sticky toffee pudding with ice cream

Brilliant food as always, and quality is always high standards. Iqbal looked after us today, and was very helpful with the selection - great service. Food came fast and was well presented.

Was served by the lovely Iqbal. He was ever so friendly. Food order was taken and delivered so smoothly and in a timely manner. He made sure we had everything we needed before food arrived, during and when we finished. We took our toddler with us with multiple allergies and good care was taken to check food ordered was suitable and care was taken during the whole process. My partner and I; specifically noted and appreciated when food was served that it was not placed in easy reach of our toddler and allergen food was also kept at a good distant from him.

Update: went again recently as they've updated the menu. Grabbed some new photos! Honestly, it's still a pretty solid place but I feel like new menu isn't as good as the previous one. Good steak joint, middle of the pack in terms of prices but you're getting good quality. Excellent starters and a nice collection of drink. They're a bit strict on dress code, there's also a separate bar, and staff are usually pretty nice. This place gets booked quick, so make sure to get a reservation for weekends. Never felt like I'm waiting too long for service or food and they're quite accommodating. Great place for dates and first time steak folks too. Most recent trip was starters only.

A) When entering the restaurant, obviously opening the door was difficult as I was holding a balloon, a clutch bag and birthday cake . I could see few staff standing by the bar and chatting not even one came to open the door and helping me.(even thought 2 of them saw me outside the door). B) the staff were not as welcoming as was expected and very slow and disorganised, it took them along time to clear out our table and when they did, either was half way so we had to call them again or they didn't know what to clear. C) they mixed up the birthday cake so we had to wait a while for the actual cake to arrive. (they didn't even ask the right questions). we could see the staff were all over the place and 2 staff were chatting in the middle of the restaurant. I don't blame the staff I blame the manager who did not organise the staff and didn't train them in the correct and official manner to make sure the night go smoothly so both staff and guest would be happy and satisfied. D) Our meal was alright but the menu was confusing. I paid about £200 for 4 person and I didn't have the experience I was expecting or hoping. Apart from the meal being alright, there was not even a back ground music.... It sounded like a sports bar with food rather then a restaurant who's asking for classy/casual dressup with no sport shoes. This restaurant needs alot improvements.

Lovely decor, amazing service, and incredible food. One of the best miller and carter's around. I had the ribs full rack and they were cooked beautifully.

First visit here and we were not disappointed. Very welcoming and everything was fabulous. Connie was an amazing server, excellent customer service. Had the Sunday Set Menu and all three courses were delicious. We really enjoyed our time here.

We love our local Miller & Carter steak house. The lunch set menu has good varieties and amazing value. Their signature steak sandwich is a must try. We were served by Connie today who is a very lovely lady. She is very polite and attentive and she made our dining experience very enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a good steak.

A Keats the food and atmosphere were brilliant but the service wasn’t up to the usual standard they seem to have too few staff covering too many tables. Cost effective but not client friendly.

Great Sunday lunch. We were a party of six, and had a lovely relaxing lunch. We were looked after by Kelly who was very friendly, attentive and efficient. The food and drink was excellent and great value for money. Kelly talked us through the menu and gave good advice on how we should have our steaks cooked, they were bang on. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This Miller and Carter is abit out of the way if your coming off the A12 road as the road has houses down both sides then all of a sudden it stops and a field on each sides but dont worry....the restaurant just appears on the right. The restaurant is airy and big which is nice, the food and choice of drinks is excellent. Would definitely recommend this Miler and Carter to visit.

Everything was great. We visit this branch multiple times a year and they have some of the best steaks in London. Adriana served us and she was lovely! We even took home a birthday cake that we had ordered in advance (for only £20!)

The service from our waitress Connie was amazing. She was attentive, friendly, efficient, and anticipates customer needs, providing excellent service with a positive attitude, good communication, and genuine interest in satisfacting me and my aunts by giving us good recommendations on what to eat.

We waited for over 5 minutes to speak to the front desk despite having a reservation for seating. I ordered a fillet steak cooked medium, but it arrived rare. I spoke to the waiter, who politely accepted it and took it back to the kitchen. However, when it returned, it was still rare. The manager then came, apologised, and offered to provide another one, but I declined.

Until this evening, my benchmark for restaurant reviews was based on a French Restaurant in the South of Holland. Capricho were faced with an extreme coeliac and offered a hot stone and steak. I suggested a mixed sea food grill on the stone instead and they rose to the challenge. I was provided with hot stone and fresh fish. A house selection of Samphire, punched potatoes and crushed garlic in olive oil with carrots and broccoli. The vegetables were al denté, fantastic and tasty. The fish was fresh and the hot stone was perfect for cooking at the table. I have absolutely no problem recommending This restaurant for their attention to detail, their knowledge of food allergies and the friendliness of the management and waiting staff. …. And the wine was great! Authentic Portuguese food that deserves a Michelin star. ⭐️

Always on top, nice service, I can’t say just “tasty” because is much more. Food looks and taste amazing. I love this this place, and this atmosphere. When we want something special, we go to Capricho.

My family and I went to the restaurant on Sunday. They were ready promptly and with great service. They answered all our queries regarding the menu and drinks. The food: Three of us ordered the picanha plate and it was cooked perfectly, the portions are a good size. (enough for my mother to share with my father as his dish didn't include the same accompaniment). the other two plates were the Octopus dish that had a good taste, and the last plate was the pork alentajana - This plate everyone on the table had a bite because it was simply delicious!! Desserts: We ordered 1 special which was their passionfruit cheesecake which was marvelous. We also got 2 Doce capricahdo which also tasted amazing and lastly we ordered the Cold hot dessert that comes with ice coconut ice cream which was great!! Lastly, I just want to say that the presentation for each plate is literally out of this world, I am glad they take their time with presentation, we eat with our eyes as well as our stomachs and their presentation of EVERY plate was simply amazing.

One of the best restaurant experiences. The food was divine: beautifully cooked octopus and tender steak, very well balanced flavours and warm atmosphere. Already recommended to many friends and definitely planning to visit this place regularly.

This is one of my family’s favourite restaurants. I am Portuguese and I can vouch that this food tastes like home. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and the family who own the business are lovely people who always provide great service. We will continue to recommend family and friends! On arrival a bit chaotic as our table wasn't ready for 20 minutes. Waitress advised they were short of staff that evening. Was a bit concerned but they managed to turn the situation round by providing an excellent meal and good service. Chateaubriand on the bill was overcharged by a tenner which was swiftly corrected by the waitress when we highlighted the error !!

Outstanding food, service and location. It’s best to book and turn up hungry. Whilst the menu looks small, there’s actually a very wide choice. Amazing place to dine. Stayed 2 hours with no pressure at all.

I absolutely love everything about this restaurant. I've been three times in as many years and have experienced the same top service and quality of food. The food that comes out of the kitchen is just amazing and so tasty.

I had an incredible meal here last night with my Mum and Sister The food was amazing. The tuna starter was absolutely sublime, not something I'd normally order but was recommended by my sister. The steak was perfectly cooked, seasoned perfectly. Genuinely the best steak I've had at any restaurant. The sides that accompany it (creamed spinach and sweet potato) were also a great accompaniment. For dessert, we had a sharing platter. Everything was delicious(especially the 'Portuguese cake') presented with so much care and attention to detail. The service was unbelievably good. So friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, always happy to help with even the smallest request. It's quite a journey for me to get to this place, but am already planning my next visit

I just love this place! The food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Nice small bar area for a pre-dinner drink 🍸 while you wait for your table. Impressive wine list. In other words, excellent! So pleased to have such a gem near home. Perfect for a romantic dinner with the husband or a chinwag with discerning friends! If you are after fine dining without the TOWIE effects and crowd, this is the place!

Wow, I'm a stake lover and of late, I haven't been able to find a stake that I can actually say, I enjoyed it. But your stake on the stone? Wow! Tender and juicy, and I was able to cook it to my taste. All your dishes were beautiful and absolutely delicious. You have gained another customer. Ah and not to forget, all your staff is friendly and attentive, offering a good pace service. Thank you.

The best Portuguese food you can find in England! 😅 the owner and their beautiful team really considered all specifics to deliver a good intimate experience with Portuguese cuisine. Freshly cooked, delicious sauces, amazing seasoning. I was impressed!

It's nice buffet restaurant, nice atmosphere, parking is not big, only 15 to 20 car can fit in the parking, not lots of choice but food was delicious.

Average buffet restaurant not much variety and restaurant is not that busy. Considering current inflation and cost of living this buffet has still reasonable prices but experience would have been much better if some of the foods were bit more hydrated and not too dry.

Went there with friends, there were few people when we arrived but became quite after an hour. Nice environment and very delicious food. Starters were not very warm but rest of the food was. Good value for money buffet - £18 for adults and £9 for kids

My family, all 30 of us, including 10 children, came for lunch and had a great time. The service was great and the dishes available in the buffet were tasty, I must admit that the selection isn’t as extensive as some places but the quality makes up for it. There is parking available. The restaurant would be ideal to host a birthday gathering, or a small nikkah.

Visited first time and thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied - unfriendly and somewhat rude service by the staff! Not too many dishes! But their Chilli Chicken was very good and delicious! I went to go to get dessert 🍰 and staff started taking the plates away from the table even though ppl were still eating and kids running about! No questions asked to anybody at the table. To my surprise, the same guy did it again while I was eating - took the plates away - didn't even ask me or even talk to me - he literally startled me.................... But no bother! With this price - number of items and attitude are not good enough! No tap water either! Better off visiting alternative buffet as there are other buffet with more items but cheaper/similar price!

Food was of decent quality.. but they need to add more varieties to it.. Some drinks or atleast water should be part of the buffet. Price was good enough of £18 The only negative was that, there was not starting point for the buffet line. Anyone can start from anywhere.

First time at this restaurant. Went there on a Saturday lunchtime, the whole restaurant was deserted with no customers, except us! That was 2:15 in the afternoon! That shows how unpopular the place is! The waiter mostly ignored us and was constantly speaking on his mobile phone for a very long time in his native language and never attended to us, in fact I had to get up and fetch him for drinks and other queries. The options were very limited. The price was very high with £18 per head and the food wasn’t that great. There was no white rice option. The only good thing was the free parking, but that was the car park was mostly empty. I would never go there again with that price, maybe if it was half price like £8 per adult.

Very nice uncle on the till. He greets customers with a smile and respect. He gave the kids lollipops in the end too. Food was delicious. I will definitely go again.

This is a very good experience. It has very delicious food. People who enjoy spicy food such as biriyani or curry and dhall sauce you should definitively come here. The location is very close to Ilford High Street and the service I experienced there is very good. The price is very affordable. We have as a group traveled here as a group of 5 from the Midlands and off the M25, we were starving to get a good restaurant, we randomly spotted it. I have also included the pictures of the food we received, which was a buffet.

Caraway is always a safe option for good Indian food. The food is tasty and always consistent! I love the fabulous paintings inside the restaurant. I loved the Peshwari Naan and Chicken starter.

Food was good however the atmosphere and customer care in the restaurant was lacking. A simple smile and welcoming could be worked upon.

One of our favourite restaurants, always a pleasure to visit, service is always friendly and informative, food is just amazing.

We recently dined at this restaurant, and the experience was truly delightful. We ordered chicken tikka, malai kofta, bhindi, and naan, and every dish was delicious. I highly recommend this place to everyone. What made our visit even more special was the generous gesture from the owner, who surprised us with complimentary jalebi. Their kindness added a sweet touch to an already wonderful evening. This restaurant is a must-visit!

So one asked me if you have a booking or not just gave me a random table No one comes to take order till you put ur hands up call someone to take ur order I little mishap in bill as well which was rectified and corrected later So service needs a huge improvement. Rightaway. Becz their food is good, real good.

We went there on a Thursday evening. It was reasonably busy. The decor was nice, the ambiance was pleasant, the staff were polite. They all had masks on, so it felt safe. The food arrived within a reasonable time. Food was very good. They have a range of items available. Really enjoyed myself. Will defo recommend it.

Food was good, butter chicken was a little too sweet for me but otherwise all other dishes were really tasty. Service was also good and food came quickly and piping hot. We did order a jeera rice and they bought the wrong one but that was rectified fairly quickly. Overall nice place to go for a dinner with family and friends

Caraway is an Indian resturant with many options to choose from. While the interiors of the place are quite well done, the ambience of the place is quite dull. Service is quite poor as well with usually 1/2 waiters only during lunch time. Food is quite good and would recommend trying kadhai chicken and rogan josh.

Caraway is an old favourite of mine, and I used to come here frequently when I lived near by. In the area again and noticed they now do thali at lunchtime, which I love, so had to try. For those not familiar, you get a selection of little dishes of different things, with rice, nann, popadom and some fresh veg plus a dessert. I got the veg thali and my partner got the meat one. They were both delicious especially the dal. Really enjoyed the spinach paneer and my other veg dish too. The nann was so soft and tasty, all the elements on the thali were good and overall it’s one of the more premium thalis I have eaten. Worth coming back for! Our all time favourite dish here is Raan Ki Khurchan which we call ‘lamb lovers’ because of the description. If you have not tried it before we highly recommend.

Had an amazing time at Caraway for a family function, food was amazing - had a variety of veg starters/mains and ordered seconds and thirds it was so good. Staff on hand did a fabulous job with great service going the extra mile with requests. Will definitely come back and recommend to others. Parking was bit of a pain but not much they could do about that.

Had a great night at the Caraway for a colleagues retirement. They laid on a self-service buffet in a private room and allowed us to run our own music and couldn't do enough for us. Brilliant evening with fantastic food that I would happily go back for again. It was absolutely flavour over heat, which was great for those of us with more delicate palates.

The food selection is good (for vegetarians), but I didn't enjoy the taste of any of the starters that I ordered. Out of about five different starters, three had the same taste with only slight modifications, and in the samosa chat, they just added chole and samosas. In the avocado chaat, however, I'll suggest the one that has a unique flavor. I had to go locate the manager and ask him to show me the way to the table because there was no one to show me the way when I arrived at the restaurant. The woodwork, furnishings, and cozy lighting are all excellent.

5 stars service. We have now booked this venus 3 times for staff parties and we've had a wonderful time every time. The restaurant manager is very professional and easy to communicate with. The food is delicious and specific dietary requirements were catered for. The service is spot on and everyone has had a great time at The Caraway. Thank you
