American restaurant
TGI Fridays - Braintree is a relaxed eatery with a lively atmosphere, offering an extensive selection of American cuisine along with beer and cocktails. The staff, particularly Emily, provided excellent service. Their tex-mex chicken salad was delicious, and they took the time to explain their new menu and assist in finding the perfect beverage. The restaurant also offers enticing 2 for 1 deals.
The staff was great, especially Emily! The tex-mex chicken salad was tasty. I appreciated the time taken to explain the new menu and helping me to find a drink that fit me! Who doesn't like a 2 for 1 deal?! I'll be back!

Our table for 10 people was booked for 8pm and we weren’t seated until nearly 9pm. No one took our order for another 30-45 minutes. Food didn’t arrive until nearly 10pm. Out of 10 meals, 3 were hot but had other issues, the other 7 meals were cold and some things missing / incorrect. About 60% of the food went back which is obviously a massive waste of money and resources - a lot of what was eaten was purely because we were so hungry waiting for so long! It was my 21st birthday so the staff did their usual happy birthday song and quite literally ran off as soon as they were done, looked completely miserable and I understand that they were probably tired but it’s not what we expect. We dealt with two different managers as they swapped (after closing time?) and managed to get a decent amount of money off our bill. We didn’t leave until gone 11pm. We also encountered rude bar and waiting staff, even one of the managers tried to argue and lie to us. The only positive thing I can say is our waitress, bless her heart, was lovely and tried her best, I wish I caught her name as I would like to praise her. We read other reviews of similar issues on the same day so we know it wasn’t a one off - until they improve I definitely would NOT recommend, at least certainly not for a special occasion.
Paige Hogan — Google review
By far the worst restaurant in Braintree! Atmosphere was shocking with random staff members hanging around like a social club. Chicken strips & chips at a nice affordable price of £17 odd was a child's portion with a handful of fries which we was trying to be charged an extra £5 for. 2 for 1 cocktails at £16 a go! Thank god it's Friday? Thank god ill never be ripped of by this social club again.

Very dissatisfied with the cleanliness of TGI Fridays when we visited this Sunday. Thick layer of dust all over banister and the motorbike by the front door. Food was okay but not worth the money. Majority of the staff appeared like they didn’t really want to be there, slow services, long time to be seated when there was plenty of tables free. Seats in the booths backed onto another tables booth, every time they went for a bite of there burger I rocked backwards. Chairs could do with being reinforced or better secured to the base, this was surprisingly irritating. Toilets weren’t particularly clean either. Makes me question the cleanliness of the entire establishment. Shocked how this place has a 5* hygiene rating. I will not be returning.

What an awful experience, it took ages to have our order taken. When the food arrived we had to remind the staff that we hadn't received our drinks yet. The ribs were disappointing, portions were small (by British standards) never mind American standards, half the chips were burnt and inedible. Corn on the cob was tasteless... We also had to remind the staff that we had no cutlery. When we got our cutlery it was sticky, the same as the table. My beer glass was filthy, covered in limescale. The table next to us was vacant during our meal and covered in spilt sauces and salt. Not once did the staff ask how our meal was and when I complained about the dirty glasses the waitress chuckled? If TGI Fridays is trying to replicate an American diner- instead of large portions of tasty food and good service for a good price they provide stingy portions of mediocre food with bad service and dirty cutlery, glasses and tables at a high price. 🤔
Matthew Wex — Google review
The most disappointing meal we’ve had at the restaurant. This is what they call the ultimate ribs (half rack). £24.50 of disappointment. No coleslaw, no garnish no butter for the corn. Staff knew nothing about the current offers, no mention of the refills they are meant to be offering, table was sticky and they left a broom by our table during most of our dinner. When asked what’s ‘ultimate’ about the ribs we were told ‘this is what we are told to serve by our head office’… great, not!!! Starters were nice.

Worst ever TGI fridays in the world, very poor Service and the behave like they are giving something free. The quality of the food were too pathetic, nothing as shown on the pictures or nothing as said in the description.
Don Sebastian — Google review
We went for a bottomless brunch, it's 3 sharer dishes between 2, so as long as you have the same taste, that's fine. We upgraded to the cocktails. They are quite quick on the cocktails and allow 2 hours from the order of the first round, so that's really handy. They've got a few cocktails to choose from, probably could do with introducing a couple more for the bottomless brunch. There was 8 of us and they managed really well.
Laura Potter — Google review
Food was excellent, only issue is there's too much to choose from on the menu. The mozzarella starter was really good but the jack Daniels sesame chicken is epic!!!. Couldn't decide what to pick from the mains so picked the mix grill as it had a bit of everything, chicken breast, rump steak, bacon chop, ribs, chicken wing, tomato, mushroom, corn on the cob, fries and dipping sauce. The steak was a bit chewy. Alot of food for £32. Wife and daughter a both had burgers which they both loved.

British restaurant
Bill's Braintree Restaurant is a modern European chain that offers various menus for breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch, and dinner. During our visit for dinner, we were warmly greeted by Carmen, who accommodated our dietary needs by providing a gluten-free menu and informing us about allergens in the food. The staff members, Beth and Amy, were friendly, courteous, and attentive. The food itself was exceptional; the burger was perfectly cooked and satisfying.
We visited here for a quick bite during a shopping trip. Lovely setting and nice atmosphere. The food although I didn't order alot was extremely nice. I would definitely go back again.

Went out for dinner quite late. They said the kitchen would be closing in 10mins so we quickly ordered. Seafood pasta was lovely, in hindsight I wish I ordered some sort of bread to mop the sauce up with! Had the flower pot cheesecake for dessert. Was amazing 😍highly recommend.

We had a fantastic dining experience, where both my wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Ruby, our waitress, was outstanding, going above and beyond in her service, making our visit memorable. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to return, hoping for another chance to enjoy Ruby's exceptional hospitality.

Been here twice now in the last month for vreakfast and I personally think its the best restaraunt in the area. The food has always been faultless and well presented, staff are friendly and it seems to have such a relaxed atmosphere. The portion sizes arn't huge but are still ample leaving you full. PS- Try the Golden Latté- Not convinced its actually a coffee but very tasty.

Stopped here yesterday for dinner while traveling and was greeted by Carmen who welcomed us in even though it was relatively close to closing time. Carmen was very good with allergens and provided myself with a gluten free menu and my mum with all the information about onions in her food and was more than happy to remove it all, both the waitress Beth and the bartender Amy where nice, polite and helpful and the food was absolutely amazing, the burger was cooked beautifully and was very filling, the atmosphere was nice but it was relatively quiet but inside was beautiful and a comfortable environment.

We came for a leisurely family meal, 8 adults, 3 under 10, 2 well-behaved dogs. Our waitress' Ruby and Saffron were attentive, friendly & polite. The manageress Carmen checked in a few time's giving time to make sure everything was OK. Being such a large party service was a little slow, and 1 dinner order was missed, this was very quickly put right. The restaurant was clean, tidy and a very pleasant atmosphere, plenty of toilets available and all working. Parking is free for 6 hours, can be extended by guest services during shopping hours.

Very nice menu, with a lot of seating. Busy and popular, even on a Monday morning. Service was just a little slow but our food was delicious and staff very friendly. My Banoffee sundae was delightful. There is plenty of free parking in this shopping center.

We have been to this Bills regularly and always had a great time with great service and food. Today was the first time we went with our dog and it made our meal even better! The young man who served us and the lady who I believe was the manager gave our dog so much fuss and love and were great to chat with. We will defiantly be back soon and will be bringing our 4 legged friend Billy too!
Poppy Storey (P) — Google review
Lovely food, nice ambience. Not too loud, but a background noise so you could have a normal conversation without feeling like you should whisper. Staff were very friendly and attentive, until it came to asking for the bill, where it took a few minutes to grab the attention of a waiter, but that was the only minor gripe of the whole experience. I recommend the tropical juice too. I could have had a barrel of that stuff!

I have not been to Bill's for about two years now. So, I decided to go for dinner today. The food was so delicious and amazing. I ordered lobster and seafood linguine, and it was the BEST pasta dish that I have ever had in my life. The seafood was very fresh and sweet. I have to give them a 10/10 for that delicious food and indoor decoration. It was a great atmosphere and a great place to visit.

This is by far the best place me and my partner have been. Not just for food but for service. They are so friendly. They go to all kinds of length to help. I became gluten and dairy intolerant and they had a whole menu to show me what I can eat which is amazing. The staff remember us and always greet us lovely. The atmosphere is awesome. It's so chilled. Good food and great service. Will be our date place for sure.

Absolutely wonderful experience! It was incredibly busy when we arrived, and the manager was fantastic in getting us set up with menus before we could be seated. Orders were taken promptly, allergens were addressed thoroughly, and the food was both delicious and brought out quickly. Even being short staffed, the manager was incredibly attentive to our table and made sure we were well taken care of, serving us something from the breakfast menu even though it was lunchtime. Bill's can vary from restaurant to restaurant, but this one is a 10/10. Give the manager a raise!

Service: Firstly, we were greeted by a quite abrupt lady manager, who I observed throughout the evening was quite a "presence" and made no attempt to quieten her conversations with her staff. She wasn't rude per-se but sat us at a poor table right near the main door when many other tables were better and free. I also observed her sit a blind person down right at the other end of the restaurant?! You could not ignore her presence. The rest of the staff were lovely especially the young tall gentleman. Food: Burger meat was nice the rest of it was tasteless, and the chips were not rosemary as advertised. The truffle chicken tasted of 1% truffle. The peach and mint drink had the mint did not taste of mint at all it just had the mint stick in. To top it off when paying via QR code they automatically default to a further tip (even though the 12.5% service charge is added on already) this is cheeky and I wonder how many people fall for this. I assume you have to ask them to remove the service charge but I couldn't be bothered and just wanted to get out. Totally not worth the price and would not recommend. Stopped us starving that's about it, the staff made it 2 star

The food looked good and tasted ok.. but just a little boring ... but the staff was excellent and it wasn't expensive at all, and the whole place was a nice place to visit

Never been here before this was a first time. The restaurant was nice and staff were friendly. Great lunch here, our server Miguel was brilliant! Really good selection of gluten free food for a coeliac. There were even gluten free burger buns which are a rarity most places. I would say it is quite pricey really - a can of coke for 3.50 is quite steep but the food was better value for money.

Carvery
Toby Carvery Braintree is a timeless and family-friendly chain restaurant that offers roast meats served carvery-style, along with kids' menus and classic desserts. The establishment is known for its cleanliness and the hot, tasty food it serves. There is a wide variety of options to choose from, all at an amazing price. However, there have been complaints about one particular chef or chef assistant who was rude and lacked customer service skills.
The meal at the Carvery was very good. Our waitress was Lynn and she was very attentive and helpful. She recommended a larger plate (it was definitely a good idea). Great place to eat if you are on the road to Colchester.

Excellent experience. We arrived twenty minutes early and they looked on the system for empty tables and seated us straight away. Took drinks orders and asked about extras within five minutes of sitting. Great food. Fresh. Staff that we came in to contact with us polite friendly and efficient

I decided to come on for breakfast with my two small children. I was shocked that the children are charged £4.49 each considering my 4yr old would only eat a sausage at best. My other son is only 7 and a fussy eater. The food selection was lovely for an adult but I couldn’t even get scrambled egg for my children without paying more money and other than toast there were no options for any other sweet continental choices for the kids. Overall, the food was great but only for adults or bigger kids. My boys only ate 1 sausage and 2 pieces of toast between them. £9 well spent!

I absolutely loved this Toby Carvery! The food, interior and atmosphere was all absolutely impeccable. The music played brung such a good mood on an Easter Morning, we didn't even want to leave and we stayed over an hour and a half! The food was all fresh and amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed everything and have no complaints. Staff were lovely and dessert and drinks were delicious! Overall, our experience was excellent and we are definitely coming back! 😁😄

Lovely and clean, food hot and very tasty, lots to chose from and amazing price. Shame on the Chef/chef assistant very rude and no customer social skill, give him zero out of ten for customer relations, all other staff lovely. Toby carvery maybe reassess your staff dressed in whites on how to be polite and talk to your customers, if he was on my payroll he wouldn't be getting another pay day that's for sure.

Fantastic place. We has a family gathering and enjoyed ourselves. Our table server was very good. The food was fresh and no waiting for the carvery. Definitely worth a visit.
Phill Walker — Google review
I wish the staff was more attentive when you 1st walk in as we had to wait 3-5 mins before getting acknowledged. Sat down and order drinks and wasn't told which way to go to get the food. They started to clear plates before the whole table was finished eating, I find this as a hurry up and get out and the staff just like having there own conversations and laughing instead of attending to their customers. They didn't even know what was out of stock on their own menu. Most of the food was good but had to wait for them to get more meet before we could ask for it. Will definitely not be coming back.

We spent today late lunch here at Tobys Carvery. Good food, good meat and turkey sandwich with a super fresh salad and a tasty dressing. Service is good and quick. We come definetly again. And the dessert was super wonderful. We come again when in the near.

Went for lunch and had a lovely meal. Staff friendly and efficient and the restaurant has just had a spruce up so was spotless. Choice of four meats and the beef was superb. Good choice of sides as well. Great food and great value. Well done Toby.

Disappointed!! Greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to the table. However from there we waited too long for someone to come and take our order, until the lady from greeting us whilst clearing another table asked if we had been served yet. Once she had sorted out our order, our party of three went to the carvery separately, every time not having anyone there to serve us. One of our party members had enough and decided to grab her own plate and start filling with veg (not having meat) which then finally the chef came out only to be rude about taking her own plate… wouldn’t of had too if there was someone there to serve her. I then decided to have chocolate pancakes which came out not looking anything like your picture on the menu but sometime just chucked on a plate. Having seen staff standing around on their phones and not taking notice of the customers is laughable with the “review us” cards sitting on every table. Lastly, checking our receipt at the end of our meal, “ IS ALLERGIC: NO” not once did we get asked. There were allergies at this party, however we are clued up enough to look out for ourselves… good job too.
Danielle Wyartt — Google review
Only down side really is not being able to heat the food up a bit more with a microwave. Appreciate it can't be kept piping hot in the serving area for various reasons including the simple fact the food would dry out but the ability to be able to heat it up a bit more, a standard 1 minute setting in an area at the end would make a lot of difference in the overall quality of the meal. Otherwise, staff were great as always and the food was lovely, albeit a bit cooler than I would have liked.
Paul Gibson — Google review
Really quite good all round. Having used Toby sparingly over the years, the food and service had always been ropey but this was such a step up. The food was not overcooked. Service was there when needed. I would happily return here!
D'n Lamb — Google review
Booked the Festive menu? Nothing festive about it, just a standard carvery, you can purchase pigs in blankets at extra cost...no Christmas crackers.. karaoke far to loud, couldn't hear the waiters... however, the food was well cooked and the service was great.
David Temple — Google review
Was welcomed by bar staff whom are always helpful and polite , ( not my first breakfast here ) would definitely recommend to people, kitchen staff always happy to accommodate any dietary needs, which is always checked when you first come in. Always asked how my meal was , ( i’m sure if I had any issues it would be rectified immediately, how ever I’ve never had any issues here) would definitely recommend to people. My only issue is the depressing music they play here for such cheerful and friendly staff, maybe something to look into ?

We always have a wonderful experience at this particular Toby Carvery every time we visit. Every member of staff are attentive, considerate and fantastic! The service is always amazing, the food also. The chefs are incredible, always polite and patient especially with our child, great portions and a happy smile. We love it here and refuse to use any toby carvery after sub-standard service at others.

Good value for money. Three roast meats and all you can eat vegetables. The beef, pork and lamb were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were very tasty. Obviousiy very popular, we went for Sunday lunch and the queue hardly reduced the two hours we were there. However the queue for the meat counter moved quite quickly and then you could select your own vegetables.

We went at lunchtime in the week. My son asked for a sausage. The chef said he couldn't have it. I asked why, he stated as it wasn't part of the buffet that we were having. I asked if he could have it, and I was happy to pay extra. In the end he agreed to it! The atmosphere was dull. The staff were huddled together chatting. I had to go to the bar and ask for the bill. The Lady was friendly, but then said she hadn't done this before. So she started pushing buttons on the till, she called someone over to assist. We eventually got it sorted. The Waitresses looked miserable. Wasn't the friendliest place. Food was very average. I wouldn't rush back.

Well booked a table turned up 18.40 and got shown straight to table I'm a wheelchair user within 8 min a lady came took our drinks order then what food we were having went up to the carvery chefs were spot on had a great plate full a member of staff took my plate back to my table food was great lots of taste and flavour. The staff were so busy but nothing was a problem for dessert toffee pudding and custard was spot on just the right amount and was hot So I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff as they are a team and the team did great. It was our wedding anniversary today and you finished it great 👍

The House by Hilly Gant is a charming restaurant that serves timeless meat dishes. They offer a separate brunch menu in addition to their regular offerings. The atmosphere of the venue is both cozy and elegant, with tasteful furnishings creating a lovely ambiance. Customers have praised the food, particularly the fried calamari, mussels, steak, and flatbread which are all described as delicious. The waitstaff, including Harry and Milly, provide excellent service and contribute to making it a perfect dining experience.
Lovely restaurant! My boyfriend and I decided to stop for lunch after we saw so many good reviews and we haven't been disappointed! The atmosphere is cozy and elegant at the same time, I loved the way they furnished the venue. The food was great, we had the fried calamari and the mussels and … wow, everything was great! We had the steak and flatbread as mains and were delicious. A big thanks to our waiters Harry and Milly, who made our experience absolutely perfect! Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed myself at this restaurant and loved the food. I had the mushroom starter, the pork to main and the crème brûlée for dessert and couldn’t fault any of it! Service was great, our waiter had a sense of humour and at last minute switched out table to outside without any complaints etc. will visit again.

We had a lovely dining experience at The House. The food was really tasty and well presented, service was good and nice ambience. Only minor feedback was the Rabbit starter needed a bit of salt. Everything else was 10/10 - compliments to the Chef(s). Will definitely be back again.

One of the best places in Braintree. All round 5 star. Lovely old building well kept and nice decor. Service is always excellent here and staff always very friendly. I've eaten here a few times now and everytime have been impressed. Lovely meals made by great chefs. Very reasonable prices too especially considering how good the food is. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice meal out.

Wow. Me and my fiancé ate here last night, and we was beyond pleased with absolutely everything this establishment had to offer. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. The food was superb. I opted for the beef which was cooked exactly to my liking. The food was fresh and piping hot, service was prompt and we wasn’t left long between meals at all. Which was lovely considering there was NO shortcuts on quality or even presentation of the food. I ordered the chocolate tart dessert and honestly this is the best dessert I have eaten at a restaurant. My favourite course! My partners favourite was the scotch egg starter which he claimed is the best he has ever had. The location was cosy and warm and lit beautifully, not too dark nor too light. Over all this evening was 5* and you can see exactly why they have so many awards. The little touches (notes from the owner in the menu, little positive notes around the building in frames) made us feel like the owners truly put their hearts into this wonderful place. Everything was thought out. This was our first child free night in 6 months and we are both so glad we chose to spend it here. We both left extremely full bellied and happy. Would definitely recommend!

Good food, nice atmosphere, very good staff. For the price, I had hoped for better. For the starters, I had the special brown shrimp linguine that was a bit too salty that overpowered the other flavours for me. The Chilli King prawn starter my wife had was very tasty. Main courses,I had the fillet of beef which was good, a bit on the medium side for a medium rare request, a thick piece of meat, crispy kale was interesting. The side of house chips with parmesan cheese was delicous. We would definitely come again, to try the chateau briand, it looked amazing, plus the parfait looked a better choice for starter.

Very happy to give this 5 stars. We had cocktails and a three course dinner. The meal started with toasted bread and butter flavoured with sun-dried tomatoes and marmite, and delectable olives. I had a refreshing cocktail with this, a Tom Collins, with my dining companion on the Negroni whilst we anticipated our main. Chateaubriand. The Chateaubriand was done superbly. I don't know how it could be done better in fact. We had fun trying to guess what went into the sauce, so many good flavours. The potatoes were done as super-thick chips with the texture of roasted potatoes and the dish was served with small mushrooms and confit cherry tomatoes. The flavours danced. Initially I had been very tempted by the liquorice panna cotta to finish with but after the beef I could only think to have a sticky toffee pudding. It did not disappoint. And something I learnt is that an Amaretto sour is the perfect cocktail accompaniment to an STP. Bliss!

A delightful, totally unplanned find. And what a wonderful restaurant it is. The service was excellent the moment we walked in. The wine availability with Gavi just perfect and the starters of prawns and mains of fish and steak so tasty. The fried kale was a surprise and certainly should be tasted as it transforms this vegetable into a truly mouthwatering surprise. Would certainly recommend this venue if you appreciate good food and wine. We will certainly be back.

We had our Wedding celebration at The House by Hilly Gant. Suzanne and Sam (Chef) couldn’t have been more helpful in the planning stages and really helped pull together an amazing menu to satisfy many different requirements. On the day Suzanne, Harry and Sam (FoH) and the team in the Kitchen were amazing. The upstairs rooms looked fantastic, the food and atmosphere was perfect and they really worked to make our special day even better. Our guests had a great time, loved the ‘Classy’ venue and laughed and loved together Thank you so much to the whole team! The House is a special place to us and they knocked the ball out of the county! An absolute gem!! Note I couldn’t find a way to write a new review, so have had to edit my original one :) The Fillet and Pave potatoes are still amazing and we’re my choice for the wedding too!

Prezzo Italian Restaurant Braintree is a casual Italian chain eatery that specializes in stone-baked pizzas and traditional pasta dishes. They also offer a separate menu for children. Although the outdoor atmosphere at 4:00pm wasn't great, it being Father's Day meant they were expecting some delays, but surprisingly didn't experience any. The service was excellent, with one waitress standing out as particularly exceptional despite forgetting her name.
(Atmosphere not so great because we ate outdoors at 4:00pm!) It was Father's day so we were expecting some delay. We didn't get it. The service was impeccable (I forgot our waitresses name - sorry - but she was a star!) and the food really, really good - salad very fresh/freshly prepared; sea bass spot on; pizzas as you'd expect. Good beers. Wine nicely chilled and in a bucket. Thank you - we'll be back. Recommended ++

Good relaxed service. Friendly staff. All 4 adults and 1 child were all very pleased with their meal (taste & size). Catered well for the coeliac and veggie amongst us

Great service tonight. These guys really seem to have upped their game since our last visit. Slick service, really on the ball staff, great food as always, and at a decent price. The only thing I can fault is the hand dryer not working in one of the toilets but not a reason to mark them anything other than 5 stars.

Great place to go for lunch, fully recommend, the menu has a great range of different choices it was difficult to decide what to get it all sounded so good! The service was amazing, Priya was very helpful and friendly, and our food came out quickly and tasted amazing! Would definitely go back again.

I think these guys had staffing issues when we visited last Wednesday evening. So things were a little slow. Having said that, the food was ok, not fab, but not poor either. Just kinda alright, if that makes sense. Three courses for the two of us and the bill was around £50. So an average cost for an average meal. I'd like to either rave or rant about this place, but I'm doing neither. Which means, it's a take it or leave it kinda review. Would I return, no. But not because it was bad, mainly because if it left no impression on me at all.

The service was a bit slow however we had an amazing waitress named Jess. She was so welcoming and lovely and she made sure all of our problems were delt with. The food was also amazing but Jess made our dinner really lovely

Well, what can I say about this so called restaurant?! Went for lunch on Sunday,my wife and her mother and I had a booking for my mother in laws birthday meal/treat. Very very busy and also very noisy to the point of us shouting at each other (yes it is noisy in there) waiter took his time but everything we ordered did turn up fine. I had a spaghetti bolognaise and my wife had a lasagne and my mother in law had a salmon pasta dish. Spaghetti bolognaise-wow !! I’ve had better from a meal deal from a supermarket!!! No taste what so ever, didn’t taste like any authentic Italian meal prezzo should be serving up. Lasagne-again served up in a small dish on its own,no salad or anything ! Wife said it tasted bland as well to which I tried it and guess what….it was bland,no taste from should be a tasty meal. Mother in laws- she said it was actually quite nice and tasted good,we didn’t try it but she liked it. For a restaurant that has a predominantly an Italian menu can’t serve up 2 basic Italian dishes. I’m not being picky one bit but trying to fathom out why a spaghetti bolognaise and a lasagne from an Italian restaurant isn’t as good a meal deal from a supermarket ?

Like many chain restaurants, it is very open and has very little soft furnishings. This means it is very noisy. We were seated next to a table with young family. Together with the other background noise, we could not hear our own conversation without speaking loudly. Food is OK, although the lasagne that was served to one of our party did look quite small and shallow and was served in a reheating cast metal dish. Dishes are fairly expensive too for what the ingredients used are. But all was perfectly edible. However, one of our party had a Taste card. This gave a considerable discount on the total bill.

I've had a couple of lovely meals here with friends. Staff have always been friendly and polite. Clean premises. Great tasting food! I especially loved the lemon meringue pie 😋.

Extremely poor. Sent back the bolognese which had been slopped on a plate and served cold. Pizza was particularly greasy. Hopes were not high for a quick pit stop mid shop but standards were beyond low. Staff simply un interested and exercised zero customer service skills throughout yet act surprised when they’re without a tip ! Pizza and spag bolognese in an Italian - how can you go wrong ? Not one to usually moan or review but quite frankly this dampened the entirety of our afternoon and wasn’t cheap either ! Other customers were seen moaning and returning dishes whilst waiting up to 25 mins for a drink. We were close to walking out.

Keep this afternoon with my partner and son. Lovely lady greeted us and we was a bit cheeky and sat ourselves . I had the king prawn and gnocchi which was beautiful. My partner said the same about the calamari . Lovely atmosphere with a nice and warm restaurant . I travel a lot so eat out regular, originally from wales and have to say this is the best experience I’ve received at a prezzo. Perfectly cooked tasty food and a lovely polite cheerful server. Will be back in two weeks.

This is a mid-range restaurant. The food quality is good, as is the quantitiy. The service was a tad stretched this time, with all customers being hearded to one side, which spoiled the atmosphere a tad. It is a bit expensive - 2 hamburgers with chips, and 2 teas, came to over £40.
