Would absolutely recommend this pub. Amazing service from very welcoming staff. Handmade drinks very refreshing and reasonably priced. Sunday roast was very good and meat well cooked. Would come again for sure.

Went for breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning. The restaurant was empty. Waitresses excellent and apologised profusely as our 2 dishes took an hour to come, and the brioche toast with berries was burnt underneath making it mostly inedible. The waitress was so apologetic, and although we could not get a refund, she offered us another booking with breakfast on the house which was greatly appreciated and we will be returning. If it was not for the waitresses impeccable service we would have made a complaint.

Food excellent, staff didn't stop all friendly. Great atmosphere.

We came to the Robin Hood as a family of 4 and had a fabulous time. The food was delicious and our waiter Jamie was a real credit to the restaurant. It was so good we decided to try it again a few days later and left with similar fantastic impressions. We will definitely be retuning in the near future.

The service was slower than expected, but the food was lovely at our table. we had smothered chicken, their signature burger , and the mixed grill. The food was outstanding . So definitely worth a visit. The staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely return again .

Delicious food - big portions for a great price! Stuff very friendly but especially Jamie who looked after us and made sure we were well looked after. Highly recommend this place!

Staying for business purposes, but kitchen here is absolutely somewhere else than most of the places nearby that I stayed recently. Not just burgers and steaks or lasagne and pizzas. Instead having pan fried duck breasts, or lovely pork belly, yumm ;-).I can be very critical about the food but here it was exeptionaly good. Thank you chefs! Who fancy traditional cousine , I highly recommend to pop in . Happy and smily waiting staff will make you welcome and will make sure that everything is to your likes.

A lovely clean pub. Staff so friendly and the food was delicious. The main course was so big I took half home. First visit but won't be the last. Even the general manager cleaned the tables. They all help each other. Talking to our waitress and waiter the morale is for all to see how they talk about the place. The 2nd visit was a disaster. Waited ages even though there were only 3 of us. Chips came cold and awful. Very bland completely different from the 1st visit. It was freezing very little heating. Very disappointed as it was my son's partner's birthday treat. They had very little food ,no steaks. We won't be back.

An absolutely lovely restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. The staff (especially the manager) go above and beyond to make sure you have the best dining experience. Also made breakfast with Santa extra special for us (check their Facebook page for full story)

Great friendly and welcoming team, classic pub food choices cooked well & a great selection of wines available. The atmosphere is always welcoming and is great for both couples & families

Really good food and service in traditional pub surroundings. The pies are pretty big and tasty plus the fish dishes are great. Can't say about dessert as I was too full for that but I bet it's good too. It's really changed since our last visit.
Chris Day — Google review
Literally the definition of 'gastropub'. Was fully booked but the owner set some expectations and managed to squeeze us in which was kind. He was a chirpy chap and definitely rolled a high number on the charisma dice when he was born - which personally we loved but might not be for everyone. Food was excellent - not cheap - but you get what you pay for. Good place - highly recommended - especially if you are staying at the hotel for convenience.
William Devos — Google review
Just left the pub now, after having the most fantastic roast. Food was excellent. The staff are so friendly and attentive and really seem to care how your food is. Our waiter Jamie was very friendly, very professional and as far as I'm concerned went over and above...so nice to find such friendly staff, Jamie was also very funny and we enjoyed his hospitality as much as the meal.
Lorraine Johnson — Google review
We stayed at the Premier Inn for a couple of nights and so enjoyed a couple of evening meals and breakfasts and a few drinks during our stay. The staff were exceptional and made us all so welcome and went out of their way to accommodate our party of 8. The pub had a lovely feel and atmosphere both during the day and evening. The food was excellent and a very good choice on the menu.

We had the best dinner at the Robin Hood restaurant. The staff were super accommodating to our every need, they couldn't do enough for us. The menu is wonderful and top quality! Special thank you to Jamie who gave us an outstanding service, we were very impressed. We are definitely coming back to the Robin Hood and recommending it to our friends and family!

What an amazing experience. brilliant Roast Dinner and the next night a tasty steak pie. Excellent food at great prices. Jamie who served us was just so attentive, even though they were busy, his customer care was second to none, nothing was too much trouble for him, a real gem. All the staff are so nice, and we also had two lovely breakfast, also with great friendly service from the ladies who served us. We will be returning again soon, advising friends to also

Just moved to the area when we found this place. Great pub and the staff cannot do enough for you and make you feel special from the second you walk in. Jamie the manager is so welcoming and will do everything possible to make your visit special. Eadie FOH is just amazing and Ian the chef does a mean Sunday roast. What's not to love, if you have never been to this pub then you are missing out. We have found our local 😍👍

It is known for its exceptional customer service provided by all staff members. Customers can enjoy delicious food while celebrating special occasions or creating memorable moments. Always been a fan of papa and this store did not let us down. Food was fresh and yummy

Dry, dry, dry…lacking flavour too. Wrong toppings on pizza (though they were correct on the label), they apologised and replaced the pizza for free but, again, dry and chewy….won’t be ordering in future.

Worst website functionality I’ve ever used. Impossible to access Captcha screen so impossible to log in and place an online order (using iPhone). Nothing but trouble, always some problem using the site, they must be losing a fortune with frustrated users giving up and going elsewhere like myself.

This is such an amazing place to dine, celebrate birthdays and create great memories. What makes it even more special is the exceptional level of customer service provided by ALL staff. My family and I were served by Owen and he was fantastic! He ensured that we were well looked after and that all our needs were met. He represents Papa John’s very well and I highly recommend him. Choose Papa John’s pizza and you won’t regret the experience ! I will definitely return!

Pub
Restaurant
Martlets is a popular chain pub and restaurant that offers a variety of classic comfort food options for both children and adults. The culinary team at 4-5pm impressed with their skillful preparation of fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked dishes. The attentive serving staff in the garden area also garnered praise. However, there are concerns regarding the lack of funding from Hungry Horse for maintaining the toilets and overall upkeep of the establishment.
Excellent staff and service good as always - food presented well and always hot
Beccy Bingham — Google review
Nice size pub with indoor and outdoor seating serving hot and cold menus. The food and drinks are priced well but the cleanliness wasn't to the highest standard with dirty tables and menus. The menus didn't look like they have been wiped down for a while which I think is very important to do considering they are well handled. The service was very good though, pleasant staff and efficient.
Phil Walker — Google review
Went for a birthday meal out while on holiday near Bognor Regis. This was quite possibly the worst meal I have ever had in a pub. The gammon was rock solid. So was the chicken. The chips were disgusting. Out of the 5 of us which included 3 children and 2 adults. None of us ate hardly any of our meals. The full total for everything was just over £100 and the only good thing was the drinks even the pudding came out burnt. And the powder custard was lumpy There were only 2 staff front of house and the service was so slow. I would definitely not recommend this as a place to go for a meal
Dan Zoe — Google review
Onion rings were the nicest part of the mixed grill. Chicken was undercooked and a bit soft and gammon was like a brick. Very hard. No flavour. Service was good. And burger was lovely. Chips were hard and looked precooked and reheated
Alistair — Google review
Experience was OK. Chicken always tastes a bit fake here, like its fatty and watery almost. Meal was good, not the best I've had here but was nice still. Staff attentive, got served by several different members of staff. Appeared clean but didn't use the toilets.
Natalie Harvey-Mason — Google review
Food was brilliant this afternoon! Whoever the chef team were at 4-5pm did an amazing job of cooking fresh, hot and perfectly cooked food for kids and adults. The team that served us in the garden were also Brill. it's just the lack of funding that hungry horse are providing to upkeep the toilets and general lack of tlc inside and out. Hungry horse spend some money and give the team here a pub that suits their skills!
Lisa Stacey — Google review
Food was poor at best. Chicken was raw and the "steak" was basically just a warmed up meat patty. When we spoke to the staff they were argumental about the quality of the food. The kitchen closed at 8:45pm even though we were told we couldn't book til 8pm so we didn't get time to get puddings for the kids. Upon arrival the dining area was virtually empty so cannot understand why we had to book so late.Very poor experience. I'd give less than 1 star if I could
Terry Smith — Google review
Nice quiet pub but regulars in. Served really fast and pleased to see my 19 year old daughter was carded. We didn't eat but the menu looks good. Drinks were well poured and presented and the prices were really good
Noel Pusey — Google review
Typical chain style pub as belongs to the Hungry Horse group. Good selection of food and service was quick and the staff friendly. Food was well cooked and we did not have to wait too long after ordering. As far as I could tell would be good for families or just couples as had plenty of seating for both.
David Rideout — Google review
I booked a table for Sunday lunch. Lady took my name and showed us to our table, and that was it!! Four members of staff passed us even the lady who showed us to our table. It was as if we were invisible. Tables were being cleaned around us. It was very quiet in there. We waited 10 minutes for some acknowledgement then walked out!! Wouldn't recommend this place.
tracey hill — Google review
Lovely friendly atmosphere, loved the fact that the staff double check how you would like your food , the food was fresh and tasted amazing, hi five to the chef as it was 26 degrees outside.
Paula Moore — Google review
This morning went to the Martlets, it doesn't open till 11am now so had to sit outside for 15mins till it opened. When we went in high smell of cleaning product, smelt like loo cleaner. When making our order was told coffee machine not working and they have no milk, so only cold drink, we went for coffee . Noticed our chairs were badly stained. Staff polite.

Great affordable with friendly staff that accommodate for children. Kids enjoyed the hot chocolate which was only 99p! Would visit again.

Absolutely brilliant lunch today for 2 adults and 5 children. The service we received from Fi and other members of the team was above and beyond. The food was spot on and could not fault it at all. Everything arrived fresh and hot. 7 very happy customers.

Lovely service from the waitress/staff. The young lady who served us was great, very friendly and asked if everything was okay. We ordered 3 burger meals, all arrived piping hot and were very tasty
Allan Thornton — Google review
huge portions and value for money. Staff were very friendly and did let us know there was a wait for food when we ordered. Decor is tired and the place could do with some investment. The staff made up for the decor. Accept Blue Light cards at 20% discount.
Julie Kalsi — Google review
My family and I have had bad experiences here in the past, but the staff today were incredibly lovely. We did ask for a spray to clean our table as we felt it was a little sticky (not a problem, quite common in pubs), but then we realised the spray leaves a slightly sticky residue anyway. All of our food was fantastic, especially the gammons and chicken burgers. The chef admitted to accidentally serving my nan chips instead of mash, but we were compensated greatly for what ended up to be a short wait for my nan to receive her correct meal. The waitresses were very apologetic. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be returning.

Family restaurant
Regis Brewers Fayre is a laid-back family pub and restaurant chain that offers classic dishes and international favorites. It's a popular spot for breakfast, especially among families with grandchildren who love the place. The staff are known for being friendly, efficient, and welcoming, making it a great choice for families. The food is praised for its good quality and value, with particular mention of the delicious sausages. The restaurant is also noted to be child-friendly with high chairs available.
We go for breakfast quite frequently, but I can't comment on lunch or dinner service. It's my grandchildren's favourite place for breakfast. Staff are friendly, efficient and welcoming. Food is good, especially the sausages. Prices fantastic. Good accessibility for disabled customers. Child friendly with high chairs available.

Easy to book on website. Large child friendly pub/restaurant. Plenty of choices and good value for money. Great quality food with plenty of flavour and very attentive staff. Shame it wasn't busier inside and that they didn't have full selection of wines. Parking available though.

Just been for lunch ... staff busy eager to assist. Kids play area was good however our food wasn't, Garlic & herbs mushrooms burnt, all food cold, child desert took a long while , it was ice-cream!! Toilets, handryer not working in ladies and no replacement hand dry towels, toilet seat broken in ladies, dated decor in ladies. They have only self service coffee, it wasn't great. It's the 2nd time there and my last as its not improved

I can only talk about the Sunday Carvery and the Children's burger meal, both great value and yummy.
Carla Eliza — Google review
The food was very nice, although some bits of my food were luke warm compared to the other bits (I had the mushroom chicken diane thing), it was still delicious, just wouldve been even better if it was hot. No complaints from the other half with his mahoosive fish & chips.

Lovely and very clean place unfortunately I missed the breakfast wich ends at 10:30 am. Very friendly service so and a beautiful view on the ocean. Worse the visit !

It was OK... service wasn't fast, but wasn't particularly slow either, although the queue for ordering seemed to take a while... (order at the bar after being given a table). Kids meals was 3 courses for £4.99 and the adults meals average about £10, so not very cheap but certainly not expensive either. Staff seemed friendly enough and place itself was again fairly average in terms of tidiness and decor. Food was fine, nothing terrible - we had some kids meals, ultimate filled Yorkshire and sweet potato curry.

Amazing atmosphere , delicious food , 5 star service. We have been lucky to be seated on Saturday evening without prebooking ( last time we were turned away ) A sharing board is an absolute must have. Good choice of drinks. Deserts were delicious. Been local for over 10 years I missed so many opportunities to discover this absolute gem. Will be back guaranteed .

Super Sunday late lunch, booked for 3pm. I took photos of our starters which was Roast Vegetable soup for my partner & Prawn Gratin for myself which was really tasty. Our mains were Roast Lamb for my partner & Roast Beef for myself. It looked so good I didn't think to take a photo (will add some on our next visit). It all tasted every bit as good as it looked & the portions were generous enough that any moor would have been greedy (I would have allowed myself to have been greedy with the Parsnips they were fabulous). We will definitely be returning here as there is no downside at all to mention. Location, parking, staff, food, all really really good 👍👍👍👍

A group of 8 of us had the fortune to visit The Lamb Inn for Sunday dinner. We were unable to sit in the restaurant area as our friends had their dog but we had a lovely table in the pub nonetheless. The roasts are exceptionally good and I would go so far as to say that the 3 course roast dinner was one of the best I've had. Everything was cooked perfectly. If I had one complaint, it would be that I would've liked the portion to be a bit bigger as it was so good! The pub gets very busy so I recommend booking ahead. I look forward to re-visiting when I'm back in the area.

Tradional pub with well cooked and nicely presented food. Very charming staff and interesting to see landlord on site welcoming visitors. It makes such a difference to the whole atmosphere of a place. So I would definitely recommend.

We visited here for dinner on my latest visit down to Pagham to visit my aunt. My partner and I decided to take my mum and aunt out for dinner. My aunt recommended this place as my cousins and the rest of their family really enjoy eating here. We WERE NOT disappointed!! The food was absolutely amazing, perfectly priced for the quality and portion size of the food presented and the waitress was an absolute joy. I would highly recommend you paid a visit to The Lamb.

We had an absolutely amazing lunch on Friday afternoon. The food was superb, we had the mussels from the specials, they were so juicy, the sauce delicious. The battered squid was light crispy and cooked perfectly. We also shared a ‘Gubbins Board’ which was loaded with lots of great homemade savoury treats. The Pate was one of the best I’ve ever had. The front of house team are very friendly, great service with personality too. The pub itself is lovely, a couple of different areas (restaurant/bar/pub) and nooks&cranny’s to please whatever sort of atmosphere you like. It was very clean and heating was at a perfect temperature. The garden looks like it is an absolute must in the summer. Good parking as well is a bonus. It’s an absolute gem, I can’t wait to go back to try their Sunday Roast.

Perfect evening meal, for both of us. Salmon with prawn sauce. Actually had prawns in the sauce, with a salad and thin cut chips. Beer batter haddock, peas, with thick cut chips and tartar sauce.

Nice food but not much veggie selection. Great idea turning the potato peelings into chips but they were a bit cold. Nice and crunchy tho. I'd add sea salt and some herbs to make them more flavoursome. Chilly in the pub but understand times are hard for pubs these days. Lovely friendly staff. Nice big pub.

Absolutely amazing food, I didn’t want to finish eating it, it was that good. The service was brilliant, we got waited on hand and foot, nothing was too much trouble. Very dog friendly, I thinks our dog has made some new friends. Very nice interior with open beams and features. We hadn’t booked a table but that was no trouble, got us fitted in cosy corner. We will 100% definitely be back. Can’t recommend this place enough.
