Piazza del Mercato, the central hub of the city, boasts stunning Renaissance-style arcades and magnificent palaces like Palazzo Mellerio and Palazzo Silva. The latter, a grand residence originally constructed in the 14th century and later refurbished in the 16th century. This square is renowned for its remarkable stone craftsmanship on the ground, while some buildings retain their authentic stoned-tile roofs.
It is a good vegan restaurant, right in the middle of the square, about less than 10 mins walk from the train station.

It's just a Piazza that during the week is used as a parking. Only on Saturday during the flee market it is empty of cars. Nothing really special. It is just pretty to see the blooming trees during spring time. Don't bother really except for parking.

The church, built in the 15th century, stands as a symbol of faith and tradition. A notable feature is the six-pointed stars on the windows, which were often used in the Middle Ages as a symbol of protection against fire. They not only represent a spiritual connection, but also served to protect the sanctuary. Surrounded by a breathtaking mountain landscape, the sanctuary offers not only spiritual tranquility but also a visual delight that reflects the rich history and culture of the region. Ristorante La Stella is situated atop a hill, providing a scenic view of Domodossola. This well-preserved establishment offers predominantly seafood-based dishes that are truly exceptional. The standout among the delectable options is the octopus, although all other items on the menu are equally delicious. If you happen to be in Domodossola, it is highly recommended that you make a stop at this excellent restaurant.
La Stella is tucked on a hill overlooking Domodossola. The restaurant serves mostly seafood based dishes and everything was spectacular. My favorite was the octopus but honestly everything else was super delicious. If you’re passing by domodossola, I definitely recommend stopping by if you can.

Totally overpriced. Food is not better than any traditional trattoria but because of the fancy restaurant room and decoration you'll pay one third more for the dishes. I can even do better pasta al ragu at home. Revisited tiramisu was a total disaster, very dry mascarpone cream. Not freshly made for sure. Service is really nice though.

Eurossola is a modern establishment with comfortable accommodations and complimentary morning meals. It boasts an elegant restaurant and a stylish bar, providing a sophisticated dining experience. The hotel's location near Domodossola train station offers convenience for travelers, with the added benefit of private parking spaces in their rear courtyard. While room sizes differ, it should be noted that those facing the transportation hub may experience some noise disturbances from trains and bus passengers.
The service was great. Room (suite) was fantastic, clean and 5 star worth. Atelier was delicious, we expected small portions but it was too much for us. The only thing we can find for improvement was the service lady in Atelier didn't speak English. But everything else was better than expected.

Conveniently located across Domodossola train station, there are also a couple of customers parking spot in their private backyard. Clean rooms, size varies, but if you’re facing the train or bus main station you’ll definitely hear the noises of trains and people waiting for the buses.their breakfast buffet doesn’t offer you their good cappuccinos, there are now 2 machines. The choice of buffet items is more limited than it used to be and quality of food has also declined slightly. But you’re in the center of Domodossola city and in walking distance of shops bars and restaurants.

Very well situated, across from train station, the city center, museums, and restaurants are few steps away. Clean, very friendly staff ( family own business: nothing is a problem!) Very comfortable bed. I chose this hotel because it host 1 Michelin Star restaurant Atelier ( chef is the owner of the hotel as well) + a bistro .

Staff is very kind. Restaurant is excellent. Parking is small and often is a mess to leave the parking. Hotel staff nees to manage better parking places and do not allow guests to block other guests car. There is basically below the hotel auto garage so I do not understand why everyone is trying to stuck their car on the tiny hotel parking!?!? Rooms are clean but there is no good isolation against noise. Bed is comfortable.

Today, I visited the Atelier Restaurant e Bistrot in Domodossola after travelling from Zermatt. The restaurant surpassed my expectations with its excellent cuisine and service. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and each dish had a unique twist. They offered a 3-course menu for only 18 euros, which is incredibly affordable considering the high quality of food they serve. Additionally, the service was efficient and friendly.
We had an unforgettable dining experience here with flawless and perfectly executed plates. Just perfect after a tiring train ride. This restaurant features fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced locally to create delicious dishes. It is so good that we decided to have dinner, breakfast (full board) and lunch.

Today we have travelled from Zermatt to visit Domodossola and had a lunch in Bistrot. Unfortunatelly we cannot give 6 stars because this place would deserve them! The food was just fantastic and beautifully presented, Gavi di Gavi also very good. A 3 course menu costs only 18 euros, which is for this high quality and for us Swiss almost incredible. Also the service was excellent, very efficient and friendly. We have had a wonderful experience and will surely come again soon!

Very well located. Both the Atelier (1 Michelin star) and the Bistro are a must. The Atelier gastronomic menu as well as the more traditional dishes like risotto, ravioli or meat (chateaubriand) at the Bistro are perfect. Very good wine list. Exceptional value for money. Possibility to stay at the hotel. On top of that, owners and employees are very kind.

This excellent restaurant primarily serves Italian cuisine but also includes a selection of Spanish dishes.
We didn’t have a reservation but they were kind enough to allow us seating. Although there was a language barrier we managed to order and the friendly staff was helpful. The food was delicious as well. I’d recommend this family run business.

I write this from the restaurant. We are currently waiting for 25 minutes the antipasti and they brought us sparkling water instead of still. At this point, I don’t care how good the food is, the coordination is disastrous. I just told them. They apologized saying that our “order was brought to another table, upstairs”. And nobody said anything!? The antipasti they just brought us are good, but not over the top. If you’re in a rush and you don’t want errors with your order, avoid this restaurant. We are beginning the (presumably) long wait for the main dish. It’s been more than 45 minutes in this basement…
