(Translated by Google) We were looking for a place where we could eat a platter of greetings and cheeses and we discovered Delights in County. We ask if there was a table for 2 people and we are kindly told that it is not available, but to leave them a telephone number to call us when it is free. I provide it to him and in the meantime we walk in the beautiful historic center of Castro. After about half an hour we were contacted to inform us that the table had become free. We return and they make us sit down. I notice that many tables around us had cutting boards, I start to scroll through the online menu, but I can't find it. The waitress arrives to take the order and I ask her why there was no cutting board on the menu. I am told that it was probably finished and they had removed it from the site. In my brief experience as a web developer it seemed very strange to me that a kitchen would remove the dishes finished in the evening DIRECTLY from the site. I ask her if she could make sure and without even going to the kitchen to ask, she tells me that it's definitely finished. Doubtful, we decide to order a platter of smoked seafood carpaccio and two glasses of wine. Now I'm talking about the dish ordered: composed of 3 friselline with what I believe was dried tomato pâté, carpaccio of tuna and hard swordfish, spring onions, tomatoes stuffed with tuna and lampascioni. I'm starting from the assumption that the only good thing was the friselline with pâté. The rest of the dish was very bland, especially the carpaccio which was made up of very thin and hard slices. I don't like lampascioni regardless (but this is a very personal taste and I don't judge), the tomatoes were nothing special, I would venture to say that they are bought directly like this from some supermarket, given that they had the exact same flavor as some I bought during the Christmas period last year. All for the modest sum of €30. Among the worst I've ever spent in my life. Disappointed, I move away from the plate and by pure chance I hear a lady sitting next to my plate ask the same waitress who had served us if there was a platter of cold cuts and cheeses. Miraculously this time the waitress goes to check and reports that the cutting board was available and the lady then orders it. A few minutes later it was on his table. Annoyed, we get up to go and pay €40 for a cutting board that neither of us liked and some pretty good wine. I point out to the cashier what had happened and he tries to get out of it by saying that the platters, being fresh, are only given to those who have a booked table (a table which technically we had also booked, but perhaps he meant to call specifically to book, I leave the benefit of the doubt, even if I don't believe it). I point out that the lady sitting next to us ordered it completely at random, given that she had previously ordered some croutons and then, wanting to order again, the waitress suggested the cutting board. The cashier responds by saying that in reality, during the booking phase, they ask if THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY to order it. Appalled by this absurd excuse to say the least, we pay and leave. I would have preferred them to tell me that the waitress was wrong, that she misunderstood, whatever, but no such absurd excuses. Needless to say, we won't be going back again.
