We have been to this great restaurant three times during our one-week vacation. The food is super tasty (best Pizza in Golfo Aranci) , the staff very friendly and familiar and the whole atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy. The house wine tastes great. We will definitely come back next year.

Really nice atmosphere in this restaurant. The staff is professional and well educated on the menu, available and ready to help. Great choice of pizzas and great variety on the menu, also in drinks and spirits. The ingredients are fresh and of great quality, and that makes really the difference Price/quality is amazing, you can get dinner (pizza+beer) for less than 10Eur per person. Highly recommended

Amazing pizza and so cheap (compared to UK!). Lots of topping choices and fantastic tiramisu. Friendly service - highly recommended 😁

For us it was difficult to find a good pizza for a reasonable price in the region around Olbia/ Pittulongu. Luckily we found this place! Great pizza, super friendly staff, def worth a visit!

“The Vicious Sheep” in English! Just Neapolitan pizza! That’s pretty much all they do and a salad to accompany it if you fancy. This place runs like a well oiled machine. The service is quick and the pizzas are fantastic. Quality fresh food is what they are all about and they have a lovely outdoor balcony seating area. The cold Ichnusa beer is also served in a chilled glass which is a nice touch.

Food was really really good. Servers were very kind and the atmosphere was very very nice. Honestly can't think of anything to complain about. Great pizzaria and really worth it for the price. Reccomended for anyone who is in the area
TheMemeMachine — Google review
I had what I can only describe as the worst pizza in my entire life the toppings were uncooked the ham and mushrooms floating in water made me feel sick . The bottled water was a week out of date. Other people pizzas looked more cooked but my advise if you do give it a go is to keep it simple magerita only. They seemed to have just finsihed the tourist season and rushing the food Very dissatisfied on my last evening is Sardina.

I love pizza napolitana, so this should be the starting point. The pizza is amazing! One of the best I’ve ever eaten. The problem was that the pizza took more then 1 hour to arrive late in the night. So be prepared for a long wait during summer, but definitely worth a visit.

Great atmosphere .Very authentic Italian experience. Most pizzerias the world over would try for this! If you are staying in town for a few nights, you should try this out!

Lovely pizza - but remember to take your phone! They only have QR codes for the menu. Alessio was really helpful with pizza suggestions and we had one each with a salad, half a litre of wine and a bottle of water - 44 euros - can’t go wrong. The service was quick and efficient, with special thanks to Alessio for saving the day!
Angela Hutchings — Google review
The food (pizza) was absolutely awesome and delicious. I also really like the design and atmosphere of the place (Forza Napoli!!)💪 We were there 3 times during our 7 day trip to Sardegna. The only thing I have mixed feelings about is online menu: you have to scan QR code to see the menu. It's a good solution, unless you are a tourist who ran out of internet limit in your phone...😬

We had the best pizzas of our lifes here and can really recommend this place. Also great service!

We went there with my boyfriend, I had gluten free pizza and he had regular. Mine was the best gluten free pizza I had in my life! So so good. The dough looked and tasted just like the real thing. And the ingredients were great quality as well. Plus my boyfriend said that his pizza was the best one he had in Sardinia so far.

Seafood restaurant
Ristorante La Spigola is an exquisite beachfront establishment renowned for its delectable seafood pasta offerings and its inviting outdoor seating area. Visitors can relish in a scrumptious meal while beholding breathtaking ocean views, even without a prior reservation. The cuisine and service are both exceptional, with the waitstaff providing valuable suggestions and recommendations without being intrusive. A delightful surprise awaits patrons in the form of complimentary amuse bouche and petit four, which add to the overall culinary experience.
Best seafood, and beautiful presentation of every course. Price was very fair compared to U.S. at this level of fanciness/service etc. Everything was almost too pretty to eat, but too tasty to save lol! Don't expect modern vegetarian protein options, but well cooked vegetables.
Adriana Laser — Google review
Baby Octopus in Spicy Tomato Stew: probably the favorite dish of the evening. The octopus was tender and the stew it came in was just a phenomenal taste bud sensation. How is it possible to make something this tasty? It was packed with flavor, had just the perfect amount of spice without being overly salty. I wanted to lick the plate clean!
Marion Hardy — Google review
Amazing dinner. We went for the 8 course tasting menu. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. The homemade tuna was fantastic and the mussels were fresh and sweet. Service was great, attentive and friendly. All locally sourced foods which was cooked and presented immaculately. Would definitely recommend for dinner.

Absolutely outstanding food, amazing position right on the beach, very friendly service and value for money. Chef Roberto created an amazing 4 course menu in 15 minutes without any advance notice. Highly recommended! We will be back

This is by far the most overpriced restaurant I have ever had in the whole Europe. This is 19 euro, for 3 small shrimps. Is this Michelin 5 stars?
Tara Lee — Google review
Best seafood restaurant in Sardinia. Loved the location and service . It had private beach right in front with best view. Desert here is must try.
Harshita — Google review
We had a delicious meal here with the best view, especially as we hadn’t booked a table. The food and the service were both fabulous. The waiter was really helpful with his suggestions and recommendations and the staff were present, but not overbearing. The complimentary amuse bouche and petit four were delicious and a lovely touch. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Great location with tables close to the beach. Fresh seafood and very attentive as well as friendly service. Prices match the quality of the food. Definitely worth a visit!

First of all, the service was excellent! Everyone very polite and super friendly. The food was great and it is right by the beach, so the view is amazing! The price is a little above average, but it meets the food and service quality!

Nice small restaurant on the beach, nice service. However food was too expensive for what it is. Fagola was hard to eat due to broken pieces of shells, with every bite i needed to remove pieces out. Risotto, super small portion with few frozen shrimps, strange taste, both 30€. Not worth it. I guess it’s just nice place to go for a drink and choose other place to eat. Ps. Desert was good.

Great ambiance and food, staff courteous and knowledgeable, location on the beach, quality very good… pricing ok for the quality though if you just want good food there are other good fish restaurants ( though not as nice )

Just Wow, possibly the best restaurant in the area. Beautiful views, spotlessly clean, well presented polite staff, exceptional fresh food, lovely cocktails and delicious wines. We were a party of seven and everyone of us said the meal was the perfect.

We had an amazing time at this restaurant when we were in Golfo Aranchi. This is a beach side restaurant where you can dine almost on the sand. The views are wonderful and romantic. Our server Mara was EXCELLENT making good recommendations for food, wine and desserts. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we went a second time within a few days which did not disappoint us at all. The service, food quality and views made for a wonderful dining experience. We can’t wait to return in the future. One tip, reservations are a must!

Un bel posto, a great elegant place directly in front of the sea, I can still remember the sea breeze under the sunlight as if it was yesterday. Food is great, exquisitely presented and very tasty. One thing that I would enhance is the portions, I understand that they want to have a gastronomic experience but still plates are relatively small but still loved the place and would also recommend it.
Ali B. — Google review
Went there for the view plus hospitality but got disappointed by how bad the experience was. The food was badly advised by the owner and the waiter; and what they served was not worth one bit of what they charged. Exuberantly expensive but not worth the experience. Not one place in Italy, we had such a bad experience with food.

Nice restaurant on the beach, service is excellent. We had sea food, really tasteful and fresh. Reserve it in advance as it’s always full. Don’t miss it when you stay in Golfo Aranci.

If you're looking for a delicious seafood meal in the heart of Alghero, look no further than Al Gambero Ghiotto. This casual restaurant offers a unique buffet during lunch hour and traditional restaurant service in the evening. Whether you're watching your favorite football match or enjoying some fresh seafood, this is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious Italian meal.
Came here an hour before opening, I was looking for a place to watch England Germany at the euros and was hungry. He gave me a pizza and offered his private phone to watch the game. Absolutely class! Pizza was also good!
Daniel Nairz — Google review
Let's start with the good and end with the bad. The service is some of the best I've experienced here in Sardinia. The waitress we had was very pleasant, very accommodating and very kind. The manager seemed very friendly and the wait staff in general was nice. The food was delicious. But I think they left the rest of it in the kitchen, because it wasn't on our plates... Which leads me to the bad. Unaware of the fact that this restaurant has a pretentious chef who apparently only wants his customers to admire his creations visually, instead of enjoying the meal the way God intended you to (i.e. eating the food), we were cornered into spending more money than is conceviably imaginable. My boyfriend and our friends each ordered an appetizer. I was glad that I had not ordered one, when theirs came out - I would have spent between 11 and 15 Euro on nothing more than some air. The appetizer that my boyfriend ordered was mixed cheeses. I'm sure it was. And they did a fine and dandy job of only giving him one small piece of cheese for each different one. If you look at the photos I am attaching to this review you will understand what I am talking about. Now. If this antipasto had been in a more reasonable neighborhood of 4 MAYBE 5 Euro, it wouldn't have been such a big deal. Instead, this dish was 11 Euro. Outrageous! For what? Next, his main dish, was culugiones in a special sauce. While it tasted good to me, I'm not a professional when it comes to this dish, as I've never actually had it; he said that the pasta was too firm, and undercooked. He is Sardinian, so I will take his word for it. This dish, was also painfully small, and cost 15 Euro. My friends' dishes looked more reasonable in porportion and they had no complaints as far as taste. My dish however, was the most insulting of them all. I had ordered seabass with shrimp. In my mind, I had imagined a large portion of fish, not just considering it was 18 Euro but also because it was under "second courses". What was brought before me was a small plate, with a sliver of fish wrapped around one single piece of shrimp. A morsel of cold cooked potato, carrot and zucchini lay next to this sorry excuse for a meal on the tiny plate. I screamed inside. I literally managed to get two bites worth of shrimp, and about four bites of the seabass. That is not a meal. That is a scam. My friends ordered a small bottle of white wine (not even a full size bottle), and between the four of us we probably had 4-5 bottles of water. To add to the cost of everything, we ordered our lunch at 2 pm, and were not served the meals until a quarter to 4. At the end of the meal, the manager came out and offered us some liqeur on the house, since we had to wait so long for our meal. Yeah - how about instead of doing what every other restaurant in Italy does anyway, which is offer a free liqeur at the end of the meal (he makes it seem like this is so above and beyond what any other place in the country would do), why don't you knock off about 50% of our bill, since it was a whopping 133 Euro for everything. FOR WHAT?? For a taste of something? I can't say 'outrageous' enough. I thought long and hard about calling this place today and complaining over the phone, but the truth is, there's nothing they can do now since we already paid the bill. I have no intention of ever going back to eat there again, and would advise everyone to stay away. They are thieves, and lest the management think I'm just another "hungry American", my boyfriend was even more furious with the bill than I was - and he's Italian. On top of everything else, the restaurant is misleading in that it looks like an average, down-to-earth kind of a place. Plastic chairs and tables (of which was on rocky ground while we were sitting outside, and we all tipped over a couple of times while sitting there). But they are not at all a down-to-earth restaurant as far as cuisine and price ratio. In short, if you are looking for typical Sardinian food that won't cost you an arm and a leg, I don't recommend this place.

Excellent Sushi, especially the salmon. We ate here 3 times in one week. Highly suggest the poke bowls too! Please stay in Golfo Aranci!

Worst service ever. - We booked in advance, but once arrived there they told us that "we" got confused and the reservation was for an hour later. - Once finally seated, the food arrived after half 40 minutes, except for the gluten free one. - In fact, we advised for a gluten-free meal, but it arrived only after repeated requests and when everyone else had already finished his meal. Since it is not so nice to eat alone when you go out with a group of people, I cannot say if the food was good or bad, because I never had the chance to taste it. Absolutely not recommended!
Paola T. — Google review
Nice little restaurant but the food was absolutely awful. We left most of it and the waiter took the plates and never asked if it was ok. €5 for bread €76 total waste of money.

down to Earth with seafood Nothing fancy, but among the good in a town that is relatively short on top restos, nice Service with minor flaws (like no extra plate for noneatable parts of fried fish)

A nice place with well prepared dishes. I ranked it four stars only because the restaurant does not offer a great verity of vegeterian dishes.
