Make a reservation in advance to secure a table near the lake at Acquarella restaurant, as they are highly sought after, especially during the good weather. Throughout the year, the view is equally impressive from their glassed-in veranda, ensuring a beautiful sight no matter where your table is located. This longstanding and reliable establishment has been serving customers since 1951 in Trevignano and is still owned by the Stefanelli family today.
This is a lovely, quiet restaurant with a pretty patio. The food is fantastic (especially the cacio & pepe). Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Prices were more than reasonable. Don’t miss this gem!

We spent 10 days in Italy going to a different restaurant every day. This one had the worst food and it was one of the most expensive places we have been. We did not finish. We tried the food, paid the bill, and went to have some street food nearby instead. I know that we were not the only ones. A couple sitting next to us was also lured by fake internet reviews, and they left the restaurant without finishing. It ruined their evening. The only good about this place is its location near the castle. But, there are plenty of other restaurants around with better food.

We had a beautiful selection of seafood to start and and equally beautiful selection of pasta to try afterwards.

We stopped by for lunch today after a fantastic day on the beaches of Bracciano. I tried both the rosette antipasti, and the grilled octopus with potato cream from the secondi piatti. Everything tasted amazing, and the views of the Bracciano castle from our table were fantastic! I highly recommend a visit if you’re looking for a meal in the heart of town
Well deserved good reviews. We were a large group of people and they were able to accommodate us (with reservation of course) and still being able to serve us very good food with a touch of classiness as well. If you add the sympathy from the "workers" you cannot go wrong . I will be back next time I am in town.

Le Papere is a lovely restaurant with great views of the lake. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. There's also a lovely scene on the lake.
Fantastic lakeside lunch here by the clear, clear waters of Bracciano... We were courteously welcomed and settled with a beautiful view of the lake... The food from the lake itself was delicious... Smelt with a sweet Tropea onion dip and grilled corregone (whitefish) were just divine, whilst the sea options were just as delicious.
Thanks for making our day trip to Bracciano a Special One.
p.s. The town itself is also a must.

This is an amazing restaurant with many dishes that are locally sourced. The white fish we had was very good and the desserts are fantastic. The setting outside by the water is unbeatable. The swans swim by but can be a little brazen. This is a please I would definitely recommend!
This was part of the excursion that the cruise line offered. It was a beautiful place with great food and great service. It was a four course meal which is typical for Italian lunches. The dessert was fantastic.
We walked in and although it was half empty we were asked if we had reservation! Anyway they let us in food was’t that bad but mostly cold sea food pasta came with clams only! I don’t recommend them.
We had a wonderful lunch and the staff was so kind and gave us special treatment as we were celebrating a special occasion. I would definitely recommend !

Chophouse restaurant
Trattoria del Castello is a classic restaurant located in a prime spot with a terrace offering views of the castle. The restaurant has been operating since 1951 and is currently run by the Stefanelli family. It's advisable to make reservations in advance, especially during the beautiful season when tables near the lake are highly sought after. The menu offers a variety of refined pasta dishes and lake fish entrees, along with an extensive wine selection.
Would definitely visit again!
The food was amazing. The pasta was the best Carbonara we have ever had. Perfectly balanced truffle and pork. We had Calamari to start which was to die for. And to end, a gorgeous tiramisu which was perfect.
We could not fault the food whatsoever… other than we couldn’t eat anymore!!!
However, our amazing food was sometimes delivered by Julia. We were unfamiliar with some Italian dining traditions and hoped for guidance, but were met with a blunt and judgemental attitude. This made us hyper aware to the dirty looks and comments she made to her colleagues which were directed at us when we were only trying to be polite. We wanted to make an effort to conform to traditions and a language that we were less familiar with but instead were made to feel like stupid brits.
Regardless of this, all the other staff were wonderful. Overall, we had an AMAZING experience dining here and would highly recommend.

The restaurant Las near the castle are a bit touristy but delicious! Everything we ate was perfect. The staff was nice and it was a great meal.
We didn’t try dessert but the gelato place across the street is fantastic.
Overall, it was great. The fish was fresh and the meal came quickly. It’s touristy but worth the time and effort. Plus you’re eating next to a castle!

My family and I shared a delicious traditional Italian meal under the moon and the stars and the most amazing view of the castle. It was cold outside but the fire burners and blankets meant we were all very comfortable and cozy. The warmth of the fires was only bettered by the warmth of the welcome and the staff were lovely and very attentive. Thank you! My family and I will be back.
More than 5 stars! Fresh pasta and delicious fresh seafood. Local fish from the lake as well as special varieties. Reasonable prices for the food and great house wine for 8€/1L. Amazing atmosphere looking at the castle and friendly staff. They also helped translating the menu in English and gave good recommendations.

A lovely restaurant situated on Lake Bracciano. The food is delicious, with delicious small lake fish ('re fried laterini) as 're side dishes of grilled zucchini and eggplants. The dessert which wasn't pictured was very popular with families celebrations, as it featured a chocolate cake. Get a reservation for a table overlooking the lake if you can!

Just came to eat, as it was recommended by a resident of Bracciano. We had the seafood mix appetizer: little batter fried lame fish, mussels, 2 kinds of seafood salad, a mix of tomatoes and some kind of seafood, in a savory red sauce, shrimp bruschetta, ... calamari, octopus... other dishes as well, all very well seasoneced and presented. My husband had the seafood spaghetti, which was chock full of mussels, shrimp, lobster, I don't know what all. Perfectly seasoned, large portion, delicious. I had a creamy shrimp risotto, including wild rice... truly to savor! Just what we needed to salve our disappointment over not being able to visit the castle. - they were filming a movie!
The service was very slow but friendly. My Argentinian steak was burnt on one side and very fatty, quite disappointing. They have a really loud fridge in the dining hall..
Food is good but the dishes and silverware was a bit dirty, also a spider crawled out the sink. 🐟

What a discovery! This restaurant, Ai Due Leoni, offers exceptional Roman-style cuisine at incredibly affordable prices. The maitre de is delightful, and his mother's homemade pasra and limoncello are top-notch. Their rendition of arancini, known as supli, is absolutely delicious. The selection of antipasti is superb and the fact that the place was bustling on a Tuesday night speaks volumes about its popularity. Convenient parking is available just south of Bracciano.
Oh, my, what a find. Outstanding quality Roman-style food at breathtakingly low prices. An absolutely charming maitre de, with his mum in the kitchen making superlative home-made pasra and limoncello. The Roman version of arancini, supli, are scrumptious. Very fine antipasti and full on a Tuesday night which says it all. Easy on site parking just south of Bracciano. Highly recommended and that is not said lightly. Deserves the highest accolades. We will be back.
