I had an incredible time at this exceptional Italian eatery! The warm atmosphere and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The menu presented genuine Italian dishes prepared to perfection. Each mouthful was a explosion of flavor and culinary satisfaction. Flawless service and knowledgeable staff enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend it for an extraordinary Italian gastronomic journey! I stumbled upon this place by chance, attracted by the charming wooden furnishings, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision!
Stopped here for a drink and snack before dinner - lovely little place with great charcuterie boards. It seemed to be popular with locals too, always a good sign.

Arrived here by chance, a bit drawn by the nice wooden furniture, and what a good choice ! Service is awesome, you can try the typical Capo Spritz and with our drinks, the owner offered us some Corsican Ham, meat with bread ! 😊😊

Simply the best charcuterie, pate and cheese you can find in Corsica. This restaurant is focused on local products and are rightly proud of what they provide. The menu is limited to these foods, but if you have got it right, and they have, stick to what you do best.

10/10 (Translated by Google) Very cozy restaurant/bar. Very tasty food for a good price. We've been there several times and it's always been equally good! 10/10

If you want to escape the BBQ or fish dinner, that's the place. Salads and plateau extremely tasty 😋 in a pure Corse way. Don't miss it ,if you're in L'ile Rousse.
Dinu Simon — Google review
Please be aware, staff does not speak english at all. After waiting for 15mins to clear the only free table, then we were asked by waitress something in french. Once we've told her, we dont understand, she just left showing us some angry gesticulation. Ok, Lonely Planet sign hanging on the door, but nothing else, sorry. Choosed other place instead and they cared!

The charcuterie is amazing and goes well with the Muscat pétillant. Go in the evening to get the free tapenade with your first drink, then you will end up buying 3 kg of saucisse sèche and Coppa... People are super nice makes it, THE apéro place of Ile rousse.

L'Osteria is a charming establishment with a unique and innovative interior design, run by young chefs. It left a positive impression with its well-organized menu and reasonable prices. While the regular pasta dish was underwhelming, the set course menu was enjoyable but not exceptional - all the dishes could use some more flavor. The staff was extremely friendly, although there were some delays in between courses due to it being an early lunchtime and few customers present.
High quality food well prepared and presented. Good service. In the busy touristic old town centre here you can find a warm atmosphere .

As a party of two we had two very different experiences in this restaurant. The waitress was kind, but didn’t speak any English and was a bit hectic. Whilst the steak was amazing, the burger was overcooked even though especially ordered medium. The request for a swap of the fries for vegetables was also not met and no apology was offered unfortunately. All in all not the greatest evening for one of us.
Nina B. — Google review
Very nice and cozy place. Great service and the burger was the best I've had yet on Corsica
Frederik skriver Jochumsen — Google review
This used to be the one place to get local food at best quality - very tasty stew of "sanglier", pots and ragouts with strong tastes - now it is very much more touristy (maybe inevitable if you want to survive with just 4 or 5 months of touristic season)? The quality is still very much above the average - service good - for me a reason to come back!

Very tasty food and nice and efficient service. Reserve a table on the elevated terrace.

a nice place with an innovative interieur and design, operated by some younger chiefs. It made a good impression and came up with a clear carte and ok prices (at least for the menue corse and some basics). The normal pasta dish was ok, a little bit boring, the menue corse was nice, but not astonishing - all the food could benefit from a little bit more "fire" :) the team was very friendly - maybe the time between dishes was quite long, seeing that we were the only ones (due to early lunch time of us). with more exciting food, definitively four stars which I give as a "credit" for the friendly service and motivated team

The Brasserie les quatre becs is an enjoyable establishment with delectable cuisine. The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff are friendly and accommodating, fluent in English. Their menu offers a variety of delicious options, such as a large Caesar salad packed with flavor and a mouthwatering Margherita pizza. Renato, the skilled pizza-maker at this restaurant in Lile Rousse, crafts truly exceptional pizzas that are highly regarded by patrons.
Gutes Weinangebot. (Translated by Google) After the petanque final I was still hungry for a pizza. I haven't had such bad pizza in a long time. Practically cold, probably the cheapest ham that was available in the store, ingredients tasteless. The only thing that had any flavor on the pizza was the cheese, which was in very small amounts anyway. The pizza oil brought by the waitress tasted like it was mixed with baking oil. I will not mention how my stomach and my friends ached afterwards. Overall failure. Better to look for another place
Traveler — Google review
The grilled squid "Seiches A La Plancha" is amazing (watch out: lots of garlic) and so is the roasted lamb. Prices are good, the place is clean and waiter was nice. I personally prefer restaurants in holiday regions to be a little more cozy, dimmed light etc... however - you won't regret found here:)

(Translated by Google) The pizzeria was great. My companion had the pizza and was thrilled with it, so definitely recommended. I had the burger myself and although it was very tasty, it wasn't medium rare as ordered (mistake on my part, the French don't like their meat as well, I should have used welldone). The starter was very plentiful, but we were immediately offered to take the leftovers to go, which I found very accommodating. The service spoke good English. All in all, a recommendation, even if the atmosphere is more like a run-of-the-mill restaurant.

Le Grand Bleu is a highly recommended restaurant with delectable cuisine and an inviting ambiance. The food is exquisite, featuring top-notch ingredients that are skillfully prepared and presented. The service is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu. It's advisable to book in advance as it tends to get busy quickly. The outdoor terrace, adorned with a majestic ficus tree, adds to the cozy atmosphere.
Delicious! High quality ingredients, prepared with great taste, nicely served. Very cosy atmosphere, excellent service. The dinner was a highlight of our stay in Corsica!

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel! Iedereen spreekt goed Engels. Prijs-pret verhouding is 12/10! (Translated by Google) Extremely friendly staff! Everyone speaks good English. The tartare is prepared at the table, which provides a small glimpse into the chef's intricacies! Price-fun ratio is 12/10!

The food was good but unfortunately that was the end of it. Firstly, an atmospheric tree above the tables outside provides shelter for many birds which ends up with poo in the plate or on the guests' heads. The restaurant tries to deal with this problem by shooting the birds sitting there with an air rifle. Secondly, although we ordered a total of two meals and one wine there was a mix-up in the bill anyway - two wines were charged instead of one. In summary although the meal with the bird poo was replaced and the money for the extra wine refunded, the distaste remained.

Delicious food and wine served by very friendly service in a great atmosphere. You should definetly make a reservation as it can get crowded pretty fast. After our first visit we directly made reservations for the next evenings. We tried different starters and main courses and and were fully satisfied. Worth every cent. Enjoy!

Good experience, went 2 times. Service was efficient and the head waiter explained to us all the dishes we asked for in a very concise manner. Outside terrace is covered with a giant ficus tree. Food was really good, from meat to fish to sea food and clearly recommend. Prices are in range with other restaurants.

Heerlijk gegeten hier (wederom). (Translated by Google) Had a delicious meal here (again). Not nice experience. We asked to move table after a few minutes. The waiter said yes, you can go ahead and move your stuff. So we had to move all the cutlery and our glasses ourselves. Ceviche was tiny and no flavor. White fish with veggies for main course was bland and uninspired. Something twelve year old me would have done better.

We were here last year and had a very good meal. We came again this year and were incredibly disappointed. Let’s start with our waiter who was more interested in practicing his English than doing his job. That is perhaps why he brought a red wine instead of a white wine. The white wine we eventually got was stale and dry even though I had asked for a semi-dry one - and not stale, of course. Also, he didn’t mention or point out the Chef’s recommendations that were on a blackboard in a corner. We happened to notice them ourselves. When asked what the velouté was, he needed to go check. The answer he came back with was: “Courgette!” Interesting, we thought. For ca 14 Euros it’s just courgette? So we asked how it’s prepared. The brilliant reply was that it’s small because it’s a starter. Prodding our faithful server for more information, is it grilled, boiled, etc, we could elicit that it is cold. We skipped the velouté and ordered two salads as the starter. Alas, the fruit was old and mushy, the dressing tasted like it was a couple of days old, the bacon bits, too. It was definitely not a nice, fresh, crispy salad. The mains were an equal disappointment. Let’s start with the house speciality of tartar. It was overly sour thanks to the dressing (prepared at the table), which also drowned out any meat flavour you were hoping to enjoy. The ravioli were swimming in a bland soup and filled with what tasted like frozen spinach. The cheese that was supposed to be part of the ravioli was exactly the opposite of the tartar - you could hardly taste it. The fish of the day had a bizarre bitter lemon rind sauce, which moreover also tasted some days old. I like lemon rind. But it needs to be used with restraint. There’s a reason people don’t eat lemons like they do apples. The leg of lamb was nice. I didn’t try the vegetables served with it, so I can’t comment. We didn’t taken any dessert. We tried to share some of these observations with our waiter. Surprisingly, he wasn’t too interested and repeated that that is how the dishes should be. Bon. We were hoping to come back. The menu looks really nice. But looks can be deceiving.

Best restaurant in L’ile Rousse. Good varied choise of dishes and with real authentic tastes. Quality is above the rest of restaurants in town. Reasonable pices and a great ambiance too. They have a lamb shank on the menu that is unbetable.

Good food and quick service in a cosy atmosphere. You might be seated at the worst places if you are young and/or less likely to spend much. Light went out 3 times while we were at the restaurant and the bill comes before finishing the meal (unless at places with higher bills). Conclusion: could be a great place if run a little differently appreciating all customers equally. Food was very good!

Le Boudoir is an adorable and popular spot frequented by locals. It offers a variety of sandwiches made with organic meats and vegetables, served on bagels, baguettes, or homemade rolls. The menu also includes a juice bar and breakfast options. They have excellent choices for vegetarians and scrumptious desserts to satisfy any sweet tooth. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. One standout dish is the Gaia salad.
