Perfect spot for Bangladeshi/Indian cuisine. Everything was amazing, from food, setting to customer service. Staff are very attentive & go above and beyond to meet your needs. Will definitely come back & also try their other restaurant Dewok :)

Absolutely delightful experience, first time visiting and the customer service and the whole experience was great. The food tasted authentic and was exceptionally tasty. We went for the set saver menu and it was great value for money. We visited for my sister's birthday and very kindly they went out and got a fresh cake which was delicious. (Excuse the cutting of the cake, it's not one of her main skills)

My friend recommended I try Vasaanti with her. They are not licensed , so take your own drinks . We had The early bird option. Beautifully presented, tasty food. We weren’t rushed at all. The chef Anam came to our table and introduced himself, he’s very proud of the dishes he prepares, he even said if we were ever disappointed to ask for him and he will do his best to rectify the problem. I will return 😊

I can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant in Droitwich. We never go anywhere else to eat out or have a takeaway. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are amazing, very friendly and welcoming and you can take your own alcohol which really does make a difference to your bill. The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. Vassanti also has various offers on in the week and on weekends. They also deliver. Would highly recommend this fantastic restaurant 👌

We absolutely loved it there! They we so accommodating with my 8 year old daughter she now wants to go there for her birthday. The food was amazing even the following day I cant stop thinking about the delicious dishes I had. We can't wait to go back

Restaurant was immaculately clean and it was airy and cool. Starter dish was a very small portion and the curry was in my opinion a little flavourless and the sauce was a little too thin. The beer glass I was given (it’s bring your own alcohol) had just come out of a dishwasher so the lager went flat the second I poured it. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would visit this restaurant again if going with a group who had booked it. Out of choice I’d probably try somewhere different next time.

The restaurant itself feels slightly bare and a bit like a barbers so we didn't know what to expect. But the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The bill was also surprisingly cheap..!

Poor a la carte dining. Early Bird usually good but inexplicably suspended last Saturday (not a bank holiday weekend), so ordered off main menu. Starters put on large plates so looked minute even though small anyway. Chose chicken & a lamb tawa main course but neither dish served in a full pan which defeats the object of ordering 'sizzlers" as food tastes more shriveled than pan cooked. Had booked to come back Xmas eve & New Year eve but have since cancelled.

I had takeaway from vassanti last weekend and i really must say this was the most amazing chicken jalfrezi anywhere ive ever had in the uk . the guys here really care about the fresh ingredients and spices i couldnt fault it best takeaway ive ever had in the uk and puts all the other indian takeaways / resaurants in droitwich to shame . 5 star rating from me if i could give it ten stars i would have. amazing food great service brilliant staff outstanding !!! Honestly the worst takeaway I've ever had. Both curries didn't even taste like curry, the smell was really weird and off-putting and the meat didn't seem fresh at all. The curries tasted like someone had mixed a jar of pasta sauce and a jar of cheap curry sauce together with a bucket of water. The naan was greasy and tasted of rancid oil. It all went straight into the bin. It was genuinely inedible. Brushed my teeth after one bite as the hideous taste was lingering. Waste of money. Never again. Zero stars.

Authentic two course set lunchtime menu, with good selection available. I enjoyed Vegetable spring rolls and Vegetable Red Thai Curry. Beautiful presentation with complimentary thai crackers. Stumbled across this little gem at the top of high street in Droitwich and thought we’d give it a go. Wonderful food great service and absolutely spotlessly clean. If you like Thai food you won’t be disappointed

Second time I have been, this time with different friends. They loved it too, one saying it was the best Thai they had ever had. Really enjoyed the meal and will go again.

Can never fault the food here and the service is impeccable. Only one tiny criticism though.... Might be a good idea to ask customers when ordering the Weeping Tiger how they would like the beef cooked. Apart from that you are the best. The Tom yum to die for

I have dined in a couple of times but this is also my go to in Droitwich for a takeaway. As I don’t eat meat, there’s not really anything I can have from the local Chinese anymore as far as I’m aware none of them do tofu options. However Bullocks does, and my favourite meal there is the Thai red curry with tofu and coconut rice. Chefs kiss. Delicious. Great selection of vegetables, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, bamboo shoots, green beans. Really flavourful sauce, perfect amount of spice. Prices are also really reasonable and the staff are always helpful and friendly on the phone and when dining in.

Second visit to this great restaurant. We really enjoyed the food, service is so professional. Thai whisky was very good, first time trying this.

Had a family meal there Thursday night. Think we were the only dinners in. Food was really nice, waitress was lovely. Gave the atmosphere 3 stars cus it was a little echoie due to us being only ones in. Would we go again probably.. But there are more places to try first..

Big fan of Thai green curries and wasn’t disappointed here! Called the order through and picked it up no problem. Will be coming back and trying some of the other dishes for sure. Refreshing change around here. Thanks again!

This really is a great place to eat. A decent family run business which needs to be supported as they value the need for consistency in the food they serve. I've been a few times now and the food has been great. The staff are friendly and always accommodate, stop reading this and just book a table already!

Was here for the Ireland Vs Wales rugby on Saturday. Great TV set up for a match at the back of the pub. While I didn't eat, my in-laws and other half enjoyed their food and food seems to be served for most of the day (kitchen was active during our time there). Prices were fine & it's close to a large carpark for the town and some one Street parking. Friendly bar staff and my in-laws highly rate the place.

Came across this lovely pub after a Google maps search for pubs. Lovely atmosphere and great character. Staff polite and friendly, good choice of drinks. Hope to go back and frequent it again sometime.

Very warm welcome on arrival.its a very cosy little pub with a beer garden. dogs are welcome and we had food it was very nice and good value for money I would recommend this place.

Really pleasantly surprised as from the front I did not expect the size of the place. Old beams and style created a lovely atmosphere. Dogs welcome in front part of the bar which is always a welcome addition.

Food was great, although a bit of a wait from ordering to service. A good choice of drinks. Landlord was chatty and friendly to customers. Toilets were clean and tidy. Nicely decorated interior to this characterful pub.

Really interesting very old pub in Droitwich town centre. Small areas and large rooms plus outdoor seating. Good quality baguettes with a choice of fillings plus chips and salad for less than £5. Great value. Pleasant staff.

An older pub in Droitwich, which is a great place to go with a small group or just a social drink, one of the places to go to see the faces of the town. Narrow walkways throughout the pub, quite possibly too narrow for a wheelchair,but not tested that out. It was pretty busy when we went in with our group, but got served pretty quickly. Staff were friendly enough, I didn't have food, but they do serve it, so unfortunately I don't have a review for that. Parking is any place you can find to park on a public road or car park.

Dashed in on NYD for a pint and a pee. Place was busy because of the car show. But prompt service and seats available.... So much nicer than Costa!

Popped in while visiting the area, and opted for the carvery. The food was incredible, the staff were really friendly and the prices were good. Highly recommended!

Everything about this place is second to none! The staff are friendly and on the ball. Atmosphere is always buzzing and the food is the beat we've ever had. The staff can't do enough for you. We always leave a tip. They are by far the best curry house we've ever been to. We use their takeaway as well. Superb.

Love this place, it's the staff that really make it awesome. Been a few times but had a great laugh during our last visit and felt very welcome. Food is amazing and really lovely to hear the chef singing in the kitchen. Cosy and warm atmosphere. Great menu and not too expensive. This will be our go to treat place. Parking at rear but limited space.

On the road from Ludlow to the east we pulled off into Droitwich. Easy to find and easy to park. We arrived early but they'd been open since 4.30pm. We ate a starter and main course each with drinks, rice and a side all for less than £60. More to the point, my Lamb Gurkha Tawa was spicy and delicious (and enormous!). My husband's meal was delicious too. You may ask how I know? Because he didn't share even a mouthful with me 😄! Go, you'll be happy you did.

Had a really lovely meal here on a Thursday evening. Obviously a popular place with regular customers as saw staff greeting other tables who had been before. Husband is gluten free, menu was clearly labelled and felt very confident when we spoke to the staff about it. Great food, great people. Will definitely look to return!

Great meal, excellent service and nice atmosphere. Had probably the best lamb in a restaurant curry I have ever had, melted in the mouth. Great choice of Nepalese food alongside the staples!! Definitely be back again for the everest curry!

Wow! A jewel in the crown of Droitwich and the Midlands and just down the road! Now I’ve found Gurkha Majestic I will definitely be back! Great food, busy even on a Wednesday evening! I think that tells you everything you need to know

Gurkha Majestic has to be my favourite curry house by far. It’s easy to see how they’re award winning! I’ve visited Gurkha a few times now and never been disappointed. We take our little one with us (he’s currently 17 months old) and he’s always so welcomed. We don’t go out for a meal very often at all so this is a nice treat for him. The last few times I’ve enjoyed a prawn korma, but this time I opted to have the Butter Chicken. Normally, I’m very cautious about ordering meat because the quality is a bit hit and miss, like it can be chewy or gristly or just unpleasant, hence why I’ve had prawns previously. However, every piece of chicken was lovely. I shared some pilau rice and had a garlic naan to myself. The naan bread is fantastic. The little one eats so much every time he’s there and he loved the butter chicken as well. The staff are always attentive, making sure you’re okay for drinks and that you’re happy with the food. They always acknowledge our son as well, waving at him or just talking to him. They even provide a heated wipe for him with everyone else after we’ve finished eating which I think is so lovely. The only thing to consider when visiting Gurkha Majestic is the parking. They don’t have their own car park, so if you visit early like us, then it’s probably best to pay for parking at the lido and walk down as the parking is then free after 6pm, or just book after 6pm! You can park on the high street but it’s a bit of a squeeze with the other restaurants. Needless to say, we’ll be visiting again!

This restaurant has the highest standard of food, all dishes we had not only looked great but also had a festival of flavours. I think the food dishes here are by far one the tastiest I have eaten in a long while. To compete the package, the staff were excellent, welcoming, attentive and genuinely happy to have you there as a guest. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

I've been here a few times now and the food has been fantastic every time, full of flavour, good portions and reasonably priced. The ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice. The staff are very attentive and friendly.

Delicious food. Good service. Spacious well lit room upstairs. No music, so easy to chat. Plenty of room between tables. We will be back.

We didn't book in advance and just turned up (midweek) at 7pm. Despite there being a party of 16 next to us, our service was good and the food excellent. We even got a card and free drink for my dad's 83rd birthday, which was a lovely gesture.

First time eating Nepalese food. A small but comfortable restaurant and in one of my favourite places (Droitwich). Great friendly service and very tasty food, obviously similar to Indian food but more 'robust' in it's flavours. Will go back

You know when the food is incredible and of the highest quality, if the service is poor... Well let me reassure you here! We ordered a delivered service which was delivered on time, with a smile and courtesy, but when I unpacked it, my bottle of beer was missing! 1 phonecall and within 5 mins, my beer arrived to my door. Again, why would you go anywhere else! Great service from end-to-end. Awesome place great food and amazing service! Love you guys!!!

Ordered today for the first time, I'm so picky with curry and rice so have been putting it off a while, the mushroom pilau was perfectly cooked and the mushrooms were flavourful, but the Jalfreizi (chicken) was out of this world, ingredients chopped just the correct amount of chunky, lots of meat, I will be recommending you to EVERYONE I KNOW! you guys need some social media presence, what you do is phenomenal! Oh to add it said 50-70 minutes and it was about 25 minutes which was quite good because we were starving, I also finished the entire thing which normally I save some for the next day, I couldn't stop it was so tasty!

Had a just eat order worse meal I’ve ever had paid £14 for a roast it was cold missing new potatoes and stuffing one rock hard Yorkshire pudding! Got a pizza that was also cold the pizza had gone like a block because it was cold. £30 for the food and it we didn’t eat it phoned up to complain lady was rude said what do you want us to do about it we’ve been really busy today. I said come and pick it up and give me my money back said they don’t do it no offer of remaking the food or any help she was arrogant and dismissive. Will never order again

Fantastic!!. This is a place you have to get to. The pies are amazing and two pies and two pints.a bargain at £31. Staff absolutely brilliant too. Can't recommend enough

First time we have been to the Gardener's Arms. The atmosphere was amazing so were the staff. The food was excellent. I would highly recomend going we had the Sunday roast you have a choice of meats we had roast pork it melted in your mouth everything was cooked spot on. Definitely going again.

Lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly. Food very good and reasonably priced. Great outdoors with different levels of areas to sit and have a drink or food. Good selection of beers. The pub is right by the canal and Vines Park. Would definitely recommend for you to try this pub!

My brother and I popped in for a Drink on Saturday Evening (15/04/2023). Situated near the Canal on Vines Lane, the Pub itself is a little old-fashioned, and they had Music from the 80s playing which I quite liked. I was quite surprised how quiet it was in there considering it was a Saturday Evening. Didn't stop for food, but the drinks service was fine and the Landlord was very pleasant. My brother had visited before, and he said the Food is very good here. I can imagine in the Summer it would be nice to sit in the Beer Garden out the back. I will definitely re-visit when the warmer is here!

Havent tried the food, but the pub is excellent. Many different areas around the pub where one can sit outside, without being outside. Great little location

Favourite pub in Droitwich. Lovely fruity ciders (just wish they did them all year around!), delicious food and a wide variety of choices on their menu too. Really nice atmosphere, lovely beer garden with additional outdoor but sheltered seating/booths. Friendly staff. Don't really know what else to say other than I just really like this pub!

We visited this pub today for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. We were met by warm inviting staff and shown to a cosy room with a friendly atmosphere. The roast dinner was delicious and plenty of it served on warm plates which was a bonus. It says it all when we say we will definitely be going again with family and/or friends. We chose this pub because it was dog friendly. The food was nice, I had a BBQ pulled pork wrap and my boyfriend had a venison pie - both dishes were quite nice and well priced. The service was good and the younger waiter was friendly and chatty. Afterwards we went for a nice walk along the canal, which is just opposite - perfect for any dog walkers.

Quirky little pub with bags of character, visited on a Saturday evening and it was pretty quiet, but staff were welcoming, drinks choices were slightly limited. We ordered food which was cooked fresh presented well and tasted lovely.

Absolutely shocked at the food we received tonight but more so about the customer service when I rang to say my food was not only cold but half of the roast dinner was missing as if was taken straight out of the fridge! On the phone I was told we’ve been busy and ran out of stuffing potatoes and you had the last Yorkshire pudding (which was burnt and also cold) also ordered a pizza that came with no base sauce just cheese which had solidified it was that cold! All in all a shocking experience no care given to food and no care given by the lady on the phone she couldn’t of cared less, if I could of pleated no stars I would have AVOID
