Excellent service from the staff. We sat outside in the sunshine for a coffee. Beautiful views over the sea and peir. Quick service, lovely coffee (strong) and hot chocolate. They also offer a very large choice of teas, cakes, breakfasts and other light meals. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Take aways can be ordered. Street parking is free nearby. Really enjoyed the experience and will revisit again.

Nice place for a coffee with great views over the Bristol Channel. Bacon rolls are very good.

Really enjoyable lunch after a long walk down the coast from Portishead. Huge selection of teas and plenty of amazing looking cakes. Very busy at midday but managed to nab a table swiftly and the serving team were excellent and very helpful.

Friendly, cosy restaurant right on the promenade. Lovely lunch menu with lots of vegetarian options. Delicious late breakfast and great coffee/ tea choices. So lovely to hear the manager regularly telling staff what a great job they are doing on a busy day, rare these days! Very efficient service even on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Highly recommended 👌

Great setting for lunch or coffee. We got a table outside on a sunny day so it was lovely. It was busy but staff were attentive. One of the best ploughmans lunches I've ever had. Would recommend.
Jeannette Gibson — Google review
We had Tiffin's high tea this afternoon which had been a wedding gift. It was absolutely gorgeous! The scones were light and delicious. We had both fruit and plain scones, 4 different sandwiches, mini quiches and various Tiffin cakes...... everything you could want. The waitress couldn't do enough for us. What a wonderful treat!
Alison Tingle — Google review
We went here at 4.15 on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a cream tea, a piece of cake and a cold drink. The cold drink and pot of tea for 2 arrived really quickly. We waited nearly half an hour for our cream tea and cake to arrive, by which time we'd drunk our drinks and staff were starting to clean the cafe around us as they shut at 5.00pm. Not very relaxing.

Visited today 15-04-2024 for brunch. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful views of the pier. A shame the sun didn’t stay out for long. This little cafe was buzzing but no delays on service or food coming out. B.O.H: Eggs royale & pancakes were tasty. F.O.H: wonderful service from Scarlet & the young red head (sorry didn’t catch your name) & Karolina. Very Attentive & polite young ladies.

Five The Beach is a family-operated cafe and bistro that sources ingredients locally, offers a wide range of vegetarian options, and hosts live music events. Patrons can enjoy their coffee from this establishment while sitting outside or taking a stroll to the nearby pebble beach. The staff members are consistently friendly, providing flawless service. The food served at Five The Beach is of exceptional quality, with their Sunday roast being particularly outstanding. Additionally, they offer delicious fish dishes that are incredibly fresh and enjoyable.
I always get my coffee from Five The Beach ... and love to sit outside or walk acros to the little pebble beach opposite. The staff are always so friendly and the service is faultless. I had a super roast, a couple of Sundays ago ... top quality produce and the most amazing Sunday lunch. Cooked beautifully!!! Also, lunch with a friend, another time, and we both had the fish dish! Wow ... so fresh and scrummy!!!! We had to take a photo. I forget to give a review ... because I just take it for granted that they are there ... but you should never do that. A BIG thank you to Five the Beach and the Team as we are so lucky, in Clevedon, to have you on the front ... Thank you :-)

Pleasant surprise as dropped into this cafe on the off chance whilst visiting Clevedon. Despite it being very busy and not pre-booking the staff managed to fit us in and were very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was one of the nicest I have ever had (the lovely thick tiger toast and butter was the best). Went with my two sisters and we all had different breakfasts (full veggie and stack) and all of us loved the quality of the food and the presentation. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again soon. Well done to the team!

Stunning breakfast, highly recommend the beach stack (bacon, egg, guac, cheese and a hash brown). Delicious coffee. Lovely service and staff. Recommend booking for inside, lovely sun trap outside. Would highly recommend and would return.

Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch! Big portion sizes (photo is a child's portion!), great value for money. Stopped here with a friend and her baby after a walk on the seafront and the team squeezed us in despite being busy. Staff were super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend 5 the beach for a nice spot to eat!

Lived in Clevedon for 6 weeks and have been here 6 times! Absolutely love the food here. Service is great too. Only downside is the toilets. I spent most of my visit in a queue for the 1 toilets they have. Also there was a sign saying please do not queue for the toilet.

Five The Beach is a great cafe for a great value lunch. Worth booking. I have eaten here numerous times and never been disappointed. Always something interesting on the blackboard with a good choice on the main menu. Great ambience with seating indoors and outdoors. Staff have always been lovely. Highly recommended.

Lovely cafe on the sea front. A couple of vegan options available or can be made vegan on request. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Had the caramelised hispi cabbage, beets and substitution the feta for hummus, very delicious. Recommend when in Clevedon

Love this place!!! Photo isn't great but the coffee was so tasty, I just couldn't wait. The pain au choc 10/10. They even served it warm which I loved The service was so good. We waited a little for coffees but it was busy so expected. They informed us of the wait and were so accommodating to us. I didn't catch the waitresses name but she was so lovely. I would definitely return again and try the breakfast out Coffee: dirty chai Food: pain au chocolate

We enjoyed high-quality Italian food in the restaurant. The service is slow due to the crowd, but the staff are friendly and patient. The scrambling from the table next to us, when we asked for a shed added a little uncomfortable feeling. I believe it would be helpful for the staff to give them a bit of a reminder. We would definitely cycle there for food again.

This was a lovely place for our breakfast after a long car journey. Clean in the cafe and friendly staff. Great service and all good cooked freshly for us. Gluten free too. Highly recommend.
Carrie Bonham — Google review
We arrived and it was extremely busy however as we had pre booked we were showed to our seats. We were sat by the window although we were squished in we weren’t that bothered. Staff were lovely and very attentive. The service was very quick and food came out fast. I had cauliflower cheese and bacon which was on the specials and it was delicious and a great portion size. Although prices were on the higher side it was worth it. It was very busy so I would recommend booking if you want to be sure to get a table. I would recommend and would come again.

Delicious breakfast to start off the day the best way possible. The staff is as helpful as could be and they really know how to make you feel at home. We had one of the most savoury bagels with salmon and scrambled eggs I've ever tasted and a veggie English breakfast to die for. As you may think, I highly recommend this cosy place next to iconic Clevedon Pier.

We were visiting Clevedon from Bristol and we chose to have lunch at Five the Beach. Our choice was definitely the right choice. Lot’s of tables outside, which meant you get the chance to enjoy your lunch while enjoying the sun. Staff were extremely kind and they all had a positive attitude and the brightest smiles. Food? We had Sunday Roast and it tasted amazing! So many flavours, so fresh, and definitely warm! Thank you to all the team!

Never had high expectations for the food beforehand, and after dinner my opinion was still the same. In my opinion the menu is very large. If I tried to read through it all I would have finished my bottle of wine by the time I was done haha. We never booked, just walked in and a table was available, since it was only two of us. We had the imperial Chefs platter to start - it was okay. Not to sure how I feel about the deep fried seaweed. Quiet a random thing to try eat with chop sticks. We had half a Peking duck with pancakes next. They were lovely. Service was great. Will return I am sure.
Kirstin Joy Dedekind — Google review
The restaurant is well decorated and has a sophisticated vibe to it. The service is excellent and the staff are very attentive. Overall, the food is good. It’s less Chinese take away tastes and flavours but more of a gourmet spin. However, the portions are decent. The only slight complaint is the egg fried rice was very plain and almost tasted just like plain rice. The egg flavour was almost not distinguishable, which was a little disappointing.
Phillip — Google review
I went here years ago and remember it being amazing. The food this time was very substandard in my opinion. Very cheap and rubbery meat used, everything game in a 'gloopy' sauce with far too much fish sauce in. Prawn dishes on the whole were good, especially those in batter. Was left disappointed on this occasion. 26/01/2022

Very nice place in Clevedon, yes I will definately return to eat there again, (the owner gave me free chop sticks).... The menu delivers a broad range of wonderful dishes. Both my friend & I were full to the brim.

We booked a table here for two, however on arrival we could not enter the restaurant due to there being two sets of stairs. My wife is disabled and cannot do stairs, there is NO DISABLED access to the dining area. These doors are only opened in the summer months we were then told, so if you are not able to do stairs do not bother visiting restaurant, we asked a member of staff on the phone from outside the restaurant, if there was access, he said no, not until the summer. The alleyway access is also the smoking area, so if you do manage the stairs, you will need to walk through a stinky alleyway / stairwell / lobby to access the restaurant. We shall not be returning here, it did us a favour in the end, as we found a brilliant restaurant in Weston, with access and friendly staff. Obviously you can visit here and take your chances, the choice is yours. BUT IT'S 2022 AND THERE IS NO DISABLED ACCESS AND THEY DO NOT CARE. If it was possible to give no stars, we would of. My wife obviously complained to the restaurant, and they emailed her back saying "all of the issues with access are explained on our website" well guess what? They are not, so, be warned.

Lovely food as always. Very behind the times with the Alcohol Free offerings though. Only Becks Blue available. There is a plethora of good AF alternatives on the market these days including a huge number of good AF beers, AF gin (Gordon's and tanqueray both do this) and more.. Not everyone wants alcohol and I don't want a kids drink please

The food is very good but the price has got so expensive. I don’t know if I’m being cheap but we only get takeaway and last nights really shocked us by the bill. The satay chicken actually wasn’t as good as usual, it was a bit watered down and not nutty enough. Otherwise it’s all good. Just too expensive for us so we’ll pass on this now.

OK, strap yourself in, this could be a long one! Arrived around 7.30pm... we were 30 minutes early so stopped in the wine bar down stair for a drink first. Went upstairs. Had window seats, it was very relaxed and untrusted. The staff were really friendly, really helpful. We had the mixed starter and were allowed to swap out the bang bang chicken, the duck, then our mains. They were all superb. I didn't think anything could compare to the Noble House in Worle, which was my favourite Chinese Restaurant before it closed... but this was fantastic.

The Salthouse Bar and Restaurant in Clevedon is a family-friendly establishment offering a menu featuring steaks and burgers. With its live music and scenic views of the pier, it provides a delightful setting for dining. Situated near Poets Walk and Clevedon Marine Lake, this pub is ideal for enjoying outdoor meals on sunny days. Had a great experience here today. Went to check out campervan parking for an overnight stay. Found a space, went in for food, was advised a 40 min wait. Food came in 20 mins, great service. Exceeded my expectations. Well done fantastic service, with great views

Large family friendly pub with huge amounts of outdoor space and some of the best views in Cleveland. It's situated above the outdoor pool with views to Cleveland pier. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and real attention to detail on the presentation, staff were friendly. The pub will refund your £3 parking if you use the car park by the entrance, take cash!

Been here probably 6/7 times over the last few years as we visit Clevedon fairly regularly. Always a good level of service and decent food for the price. Think good choice of pub food staples and a few good specials. Venue is well used and has that ‘lived in’ look, but hey it’s a seaside pub with decent food not the bloody Ivy. Solid 7.5/10 for the food/service/cost. 6.5/10 for the decor but easily an 8/10 for both with a little work. 👍🏻👍🏻

Beautiful building, plenty of seating choices. Sat in bar area at a large table -- we all had great meals. I enjoyed my Mediterranean baguette, my daughter had killer loaded fries with Korean chicken, my son had fish and chips.....Friendly service. Only criticism is the peas were pretty drive and tasteless.

We recently booked a large party for an evening at The Salt House. We pre-booked our meals and even with a last minute amendment to the choices, we all got exactly what we ordered. The service was exceptional, we all were made to feel welcome, our food was served promptly and was hot, cooked perfectly and very well presented. There was something on the menu for everyone, including vegan options so no one was left out. After dinner, they had a disco which was a great way to finish the evening. I would highly recommend The Salt House, thank you so much for such a lovely evening.

Had a lovely lunch out with my dad at The Salthouse. The garden has a splendid view across the estuary and Clevedon. The dog was welcome in the bar, but we sat outside as it was a nice day. The food arrived quickly, considering they were quite busy. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Dad had ham egg and chips he said the ham was excellent. I had the falafel bites highly recommended the goey bit in the middle made them delicious. Update went for lunch at the Salthouse again this week, one of my new favourite places! Picked a baguette with coleslaw and salad ( pork with stuffing and apple sauce) thinking lite bite, this was a full meal the bread was super fresh and there was so much filling. Great value for the price.

We were looking for a pub that was easy to find and dog friendly. We were meeting some friends for lunch. The Salthouse ticked all the boxes and had a great view across the Marine Lake and seafront towards the pier. The pub was busy , the TV was on for 6 Nations rugby, and noise was building in the bar area. The pub, though, is huge, plenty of space. Yes, you can watch the rugby in the bar area, or you can go into the seated dining area for conversation and take in the view. There was a good selection of pub fare, staff were polite and very effective at such a busy time. The food was spot-on, as was the service. As it was, the dog didn't come with us. The staff recommended booking in advance if you want to use the dining room. They were right. This is a good family pub, play area outside for the tiddlers, a sports bar for the big'uns and a quieter restaurant area too. They've got the lot here. A big thumbs up from our little party.

Wanted to come here for a great pint and I did! It's a really lovely local pub and restaurant, gorgeous setting by the sea/Clevedon Marine Lake front with stunning views. Lots of outdoors seating, lovely decorated inside, spacious, clean, great proper cask ale, the food menu looks good and competitively priced and, the locally made cakes are delicious...my chocolate Muffin was to die for! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and delightful, big smiles and Sophie was lovely. Also met Gary the landlord owner outside in the carpark who seemed very helpful with my car battery dilemma and offered to help if I had problems. Gary explained how the parking system works and that I'd get a refund off the bill when I ordered a drink or food off etc. Definitely worth remembering to get your car registration entered on the camera controlled carpark machine and it's £3 (coins only) for three hours but Gary or the staff will refund you this off the bill! Thanks to you all for such a great place and experience. Will be back definitely as the food on the menu looked delicious and very competitively priced. Recommend a visit here when next in the Clevedon seafront promenade and area..

Fantastic food, service! We popped in after our Boxing Day swim, despite us being visibly Muslim it was very very friendly and we all felt at ease. The crowd was also smiley and jolly. The servers were also very polite and attentive, Perhaps it was Boxing Day spirit or perhaps it was just a lovely place to enjoy dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed my vegan chicken burger and the calamari. Absolutely beautifully done and would go back just for that. Portions were also very generous and we all felt full after.

Scoozi on Hill Road is an Italian eatery with a wood-fired pizza oven, booth seating, framed pictures, and exposed brickwork. It offers a delightful dining experience with its diverse menu, attentive staff, reasonable prices, and exceptional cuisine beautifully presented. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with ample space and high ceilings that facilitate easy conversations. Scoozi is renowned for its delicious pizza and pasta dishes—a perfect choice for those looking to savor authentic Italian flavors.
The food was fantastic for our first experience at Scoozi. We had the full 3 courses - starters, pizzas for mains and of course chocolate brownie to finish! We even had some triple cooked chips as a side which were amazing - top tip.

Came here for a lunch meal deal on a Friday from a recommendation. It was busy, but the service and atmosphere were excellent. It is a relatively small menu for the meal deal, but very good value. We had soup of the day (smoked haddock and bacon) starter, seafood casserole and sticky toffee pudding dessert with a bottle of white wine. The quality and quantity was really good. Total cost came to just over £60 for two people, so good value. Recommend

Popped in without a reservation but despite being busy a table for one was found - very good attentive service and food was tasty - my only suggestion would to look at a more varied selection of olives (to be different from those we all have at home) but Penne Pollo and the Merlot were very good

Scoozi delivers an outstanding dinning experience in so many ways, an interesting menu, attentive professional wait staff, reasonably priced and outstanding food, beautifully presented. The ambiance in the room is good, light airy, even at night! Not squeezed in and with high ceiling easy to have a conversation. Well done, a great experience, we will be back We have returned many times Highly recommended

Came here with wife, toddler, my sister and her partner. Staff were lovely and very accommodating of us with our little one. Even though it was peak lunch time, we didn't feel hidden to a side or anything, with staff making a point of interacting with our little one. The Pizza I had was absolutely brilliant, and all the other dishes on the table were highly praised! Lovely atmosphere, and wiukd definitely come back when in the area!

We have been going here on and off for many years. This time we thought we'd break our journey on the M5 by having a good lunch in a nice setting rather than join a few hundred other lost souls in the motorway services! So glad we did. Friday lunchtime and no booking but we were welcomed and accommodated in style. We could have chosen to eat off of the great value two course lunch menu - which is excellent. Instead we just went for a main off the a la carte menu. The king prawn linguine was excellent and the prawn and crab risotto was perfect. We just added an excellent mixed side salad and it was more than enough food for us. This is a genuinely nice restaurant on the main shopping street in the old part of town. The atmosphere is nice, the decor is modern, the staff are lovely and very welcoming and above all the food was perfect. It wasn't the first time we've dropped by for a meal and it certainly won't be the last.

Even on a chilly Wednesday lunchtime in mid-January the team were warm & welcoming, the restaurant had a lovely buzz and the food, as always, was utterly delicious. I don’t know how they manage it, but it no matter the time of day or day of week, the energy, enthusiasm and exceptional standards remain the same. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.
Kirsty Northover — Google review
Absolutely cannot fault this establishment. The food is delightful, the pastas and puddings and peace dishes all being the best in my personal view - very authentic Italian. But it’s the staff that make it the joyous place it is - it’s relaxing, but also feels special. Can’t recommend enough.
