Breakfast restaurant
The Blue Zucchini is a stunning and enjoyable establishment that offers a healthy and light lunch option. While the kids made less nutritious choices, there is also a delightful selection of fresh cakes available. The service provided by the attentive and friendly staff was excellent, and they even took the time to explain the creative concepts behind the unique decor. Adding to its appeal is the presence of tables in a sun-drenched courtyard at the rear, providing ample seating for patrons.
Quirky decor throughout - check out the toilets - you could spend a while in there! 😄 Really home-made feel to the cakes and the biggest pot of tea per person I've seen. Friendly feel.

Really cool brunch spot serving all day breakfasts in a herbaceous, eccentric and vibrant setting. Food was really well prepared and presented. It also has a great variety of meat and vegetarian options (all generously portioned). Service was rapid and the owner is a great character. On a sunny day, I would suggest sitting In the cute outside courtyard. Definitely add it to your list when visiting Tetbury/ the Cotswolds and looking for a brunch and lunch spot.

Fast service and friendly staff. Food is absolutely delicious lots of healthy options too. Best Mocha in town 😋

Such a cool vibe! Blue Zu is great for brunch, lunch, a quick coffee and drinks! They have cool decor and the food is amazing - highly recommend the Persian Flatbread, great dish. The staff are lovely, very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be returning again soon.

Fabulous place and tasty food. My husband had the Swedish potatoes and I had the vegetable tagine and we shared a portion of Asian coleslaw. The coleslaw was the best I've ever tasted. We both really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The chef even came out to say hello. We have a small dog and he got several treats and a fuss from the staff which was a lovely touch.

I love it here. the interior is quirky with a lovely courtyard garden perfect for alfresco dining. the food is outstanding. if you go to Tetbury, you have to stop here. the breakfast is truly special, and you won't be disappointed. service was excellent and the surroundings amazing even the loos are fab.

I stopped there just for cake and coffee, so I can’t comment on the savoury food (although menu looks good). Nice vibe, nice coffee and nice GF Persian cake.
Julie K — Google review
It is a nicely decorated restaurant with outdoor and indoor dining areas. They serve fresh ingredient and quality dishes. The staff are helpful and welcoming. It would be even better if the wait time for order can be shortened. Will come back definitely.
Dodo Ngan — Google review
Came here after researching vegan friendly places in the area, but was disappointed that most of the vegan options have been removed from the menu (except an avocado toast). All fried food is cooked with meat, so couldn’t even have some chips. There were plenty of vegetarian options, so I ended up getting a mushroom toast, which was nice, but my vegan partner stuck to some bread with oil.
Marti Funk — Google review
What a stunning and fun place. We had lunch which was super healthy (our choice) and light. The kids made more unhealthy choices. A lovely selection of fresh cakes. The service was brill, all the staff couldn’t have been more attentive and nice, and explained some of the creative thoughts behind the unique decor!! It was great to add to the collection. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting something to eat, drink. Also tables at the rear in a very, sun trapping courtyard. Loads of seating generally. We look forward to returning.

Great food and great sweet treats! Hot beverages were good all round as well. Service was particularly quick and friendly. Not that cheap but mostly worth the money. Lots of seating, nice ambience, music not too loud to chat, central location - what else is needed!
Hamim Ahmad — Google review
Cosy little place! Ambiance 10/10. Food was just okay - average but nothing to write home about. I also found the prices to be similar to London which is quite surprising given that this is a countryside town. Nice interior decor though.

Standard of food was excellent. Both breakfast and restaurant evening meals were good quality ingredients, plentiful and tasty. New manager Nat was great. Friendly and although busy always had time to check everything was OK and chat with customers old and new. Would definitely recommend and would stay again when in the area

We stayed here as my father in laws wake was being held here. From the minute we arrived the staff were great and very attentive. We had lunch which was a shared Camembert then grilled cheese & onion sandwiches which came with chips. It was presented lovely & was tasty. We then booked in to our room . We were in room 1. It was spacey with everything we needed eg ironing board iron hairdryer tea& coffee. The bed was very comfortable the room was very clean. We had breakfast the next morning which consists of cereals ,toast selection of jams& juices. We ordered from the menu and chose full English which was cooked perfectly. A selection of teas were available as was coffee. Katie was my hero as she went out of her way to find me a fan. Katie Paul Reece& the lovely man who served us lunch are a credit to Natalie. Natalie is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. The priory has a lovely atmosphere and I would absolutely recommend it. I couldn’t find fault with anything & would definitely stay again x

I was part of a very big group (20+) who arrived at The Priory without booking one lunch time. The staff were able to accommodate us all and worked a way to get all food and drink orders in and served up with efficiency and a smile too. Great service when we caught you off guard! The food was delicious too. Thanks 👍

My family and I came here this weekend as we were in the area for my sister and sister in law's 30th birthday get together and we found this pub on our travels and decided to come for a drink. Absolutely lovely location! Lovely bar and lovely atmosphere!! I loved it 🥃

We had lunch here on 2024/4/19. The food was good and the staff at the bar were very pleasant, and appeared proud to tell us that they worked for Arkell's and gave us some details of the brewery's pubs and their geographical extent; all while they were busy attending to a double birthday party. Five stars.
Nicholas Bourqui — Google review
We went for meal on a Friday evening with friends. The pub is under new ownership and I can report that it shaping up very nicely for the future. The bar staff are very helpfull and friendly, and even knew our table number when we arrived and ordered drinks to join our friends, before we even gave our names. The food was top drawer, it may of been only standard ham egg and chips, but the sourced ham was plentiful and thickly sliced and so tasty. The chips homemade and eggs free-range. We all felt full and happy after our meal. So good to see this great pub in good hands with a bright future, as Arnie said, we will be back....

We stayed one night as a couple on a little tour of the Cotswolds, but we wished we had stayed longer. On arrival, we were greeted by one of the Proprietors who made us feel right at home. We had a twin room that was nice and spacious, the beds were lovely and comfortable; there was tea, coffee, and TV as you would expect. The en-suite bathroom was roomy and had both a bath and shower. After a pleasant walk around Tetbury, we adjourned to the the front facing beer garden and enjoyed a couple of pints of local beer (note: the beer garden can be very busy in good weather). We had booked a table in the restaurant and were glad that we did as the room quickly filled up; there were a couple of tables free but only just. We had a really good night sleep. In the morning, we had an excellent breakfast followed by an easy checkout. There is quite a spacious free car park at the side of the Priory Inn. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here when attending a wedding nearbg. I have to say Natalie the manager was fantastic. She made me feel right at home and even put my cufflinks on. The breakfast was AMAZING. Very comfortable stay!

A truly lovely hotel, everything from the greeting on arrival to the departure was spot on. All the staff greeted you with a smile, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food was excellent, the rooms clean, comfortable and bathroom well stocked with nice towels. Nice location and close to many places to visit. Thank you Nat and Matt.

We had arranged to meet friends there and we both had to travel quite a distance to get there. We both got caught up in dramas on the motorway and we were forty minutes late. Our friends did phone ahead to tell them and they went out of their way to accommodate us, for which we were very grateful. On top of that, the food we had was first class and the ale was well kept as well.

It was clear from our one night stay that Matt and Natalie Starkey lovingly run The Priory with a warm and passionate team of staff who make you feel like a special guest. Their team were very attentive, helping us carry our luggage to our room, making us feel relaxed and welcomed and fitted us in to an already busy dinner sitting. Natalie was very hands on and greeted us personally at our dinner and breakfast table, making sure we had a fantastic experience. This is a hotel stay that we will remember and we would love to come again in the near future

We went on an overnight deal. The hotel is nice, clean and welcoming. The staff are lovely and the hotel is popular even on a Sunday evening. Our bedroom and that of our friends was lovely. Beautifully furnished with lovely big beds and good quality everything. The bathroom was huge and fully equipped This is a nice place to stay and offers good value. Parking ism my really an issue and a three minute walk gets you to a cheap car park.

Visited Tetbury a few weeks ago. Didn't stay here, but we did have Sunday roast here. It was delicious. Well cooked. Good size portions at a good price. I had the baked bree and cranberry as a started. Amazing. Atmosphere was very good. Kids and other people at other tables were enjoying themselves. Nice country feel to the restaurant.

Very nicely decorated rooms, well appointed, furnished and supplied. Helpful, pleasant staff. The food looks good too but this will be better proved by the breakfast which I am looking forward to eating

Really strange place. No real atmosphere and panic on the shift for no real reason that I could discern. Was asked if I was ordering food when I walked in. When I asked for a menu said they were fully booked and that they were taking last orders (8pm) makes no sense to me. Manager audibly arguing with another member of her team (maybe a supervisor) who was panicking about service even tho not that busy. Strange place. People on the table behind us ordering food. There just doesn’t seem to be any cohesion. The whole team here seem out of their depth.

Lovely lunch at this pub in Tetbury. Easy location and parking. Good food and the service was excellent. Emily was our waitress and she was welcoming and funny and gave us a great feel for the place. Knew the menu inside out and made recommendations for us. Really enjoyed our lunch. Overall excellent service by everyone

Phenomenal service! We called them on the day we were going to book and they were instantly so nice. From the moment we arrived Natalie greeted us like old friends. This continued through the day with Rob knowing us by name when we got to the bar. They continued to make us feel like friends all evening. They have perfected service!

Went here for a birthday celebration and all the meals were superb and the service was excellent. It genuinely couldn't have been better. I had the M25 burger and was the best tasting burger I've had in years. Will definitely be going again.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My husband and I have come away for the weekend for my birthday and we booked in for a meal here as the reviews looked good. My gosh it was everything we hoped it would be and more! The whole evening was absolutely fantastic! I started with the Gambas which I have to say was one of the best starters I’ve ever had!!! Then my steak was cooked to perfection and I throughly enjoyed it, my husband had the lamb (it was delicious) followed by the cheeseboard that my husband and I shared it also was bloody lovely especially with a glass or 2 of port!!! Our experience wasn’t just amazing with the food thought it was also the staff! We’ve never experienced such fantastic customer service EVER!!! Every one of the waiting team were smiling and wanting to do anything for you! Rob especially is fabulous and a credit to the place! This place is a very special find and we will most definitely be back for sure! Well done! It’s not often you get the full package when going out to eat anymore but it had fabulous atmosphere, incredible service and absolutely delicious food (big huge compliments to the chef)! Thank you for starting our stay off with a bang! Mr and Mrs Conway from tonight 🥰

The Gumstool Inn is a popular spot for an excellent lunch, although there might be a bit of a wait between courses due to the fresh, made-to-order dishes. The staff is composed and professional, contributing to the great atmosphere. Visitors praise the amazing food and quick, friendly service, making it a highly recommended dining destination.
Great atmosphere! Amazing food!!! Very friendly staff + quick service. Highly recommend this place.

Not as good as sounds. Staff didn't seem to care. Asked for seat with light - instead stuck in dark corner despite second request to move; tables by window stayed the empty whole time we were there - 2 hrs, left after 2.30. Failure after failure - No menu given, had to go & find one; water requested, waitress forgot, had to ask again; Coffee/ tea order taken, had to go up to bar ten minutes later as staff so busy chatting with backs to us that waiter had forgotten to put the order through; Meal: calves liver "ok", but I was not asked how I like it cooked. It arrived a rather overdone and dry. I ate it as at that stage I didn't realise how bad the rest of the service would be. Next failure - the tea for one person arrived with enough Earl Grey loose tea for ten people- I could stand a fork in the tea leaves they were so deep and took a picture of this. Staff were not trained in serving loose tea. I spoke to waiter at end about all of this and was offered money off the tea. Declined as gesture of good will asking for comments to be passed on to help the staff. I would have left it at that and not posted publically except that I felt very upset because as I left the waiter was explaining my comments to a member of staff in a different outfit (manager?). He was talking in the most disrespectful manner about me. Saying that she said the liver was dry - "which it probably was" [his words], but she ate it anyway so what's the problem! Ha, he shrugged and rolled his eyes and walked off right past me. I was standing right by him and he knew it. Perhaps I was being too polite in not sending it back but I thought at least my comments would be taken in good spirit and passed on to help the establishment not mocked. I regret not accepting the tea refund and not sending the food back and for not making more fuss overall. Perhaps being unpleasant is the only way to get respect. Disappointing to be spoken about so disrespectfully at all, let alone when I was physically present. My lesson, if you want good service here make your mark early on and be assertive..and staff, be nicer to your clients please. We've come to have a nice time, so be nice to us.

Café 53 is a charming garden cafe serving delicious breakfasts, lunches and cakes. The cafe has a lovely courtyard for al fresco dining in good weather, and the staff are delightful. It's popular for good reasons - the food is top notch and the atmosphere is charming.
Best coffee in Tetbury. Cool vibe and nice service. Gluten free can be accommodated, and they have vegetarian options. I recommend the porridge, it was delicious.

Had a nice lunch at Cafe 53. Polite and efficient staff with great tasting food. I ate in the lovely garden seating area. The spicy adds into the soup and cheese sandwiches were a lovely accompaniment and not at all strong. Which really added something extra nice in the flavour. I would visit here again.

It looks small from the outside but there is comfortable garden space once you're inside. Ordered vietnamese pork bowl which is ok passable. Love the courgette and ribbon salad with it. Boyfriend love his smoked mackerel salad.

When we arrived we were showed to our table, menus we received very efficient. We both had a English breakfast and a large pot of tea. We were not let down on the size of the breakfast, nice tasty food and hot. The waitresses were very good and polite. We recommend if in the area.

This is a really lovely cafe with great food and staff. It has a great courtyard for al fresco dining if the weather is right. Particular thanks to Harry for being a delightful waiter. Its popular for understandable reasons. The breakfast choices are particularly nice. It's attached to a lovely interiors shop called Domestic Science which has some stylish stuff. Highly recommended.

Nice tea pot, poor tasting tea. And bag. Partner had nice coffee. Lemon cake was okay, tad dry and over sweet. Other had carrot cake which was pleasant. Staff pleasant. No vegan or veggie options on menu, but they did off goats cheese !

I came here whilst waiting for my car to be 're-shod'. I had a pot of tea and a cupcake. The staff are very friendly and courteous. This is a popular place to come at the weekend and I think it's best to reserve a table if you want lunch. The setting is lovely: sky lights and plenty of atmosphere. There's a garden to sit in as well when the weather permits.

had a lovely pot of tea and cappuccino here both nice and hot. we had the smoked mackerel and the chestnut mushroom and cashew ramen. both utterly delightful and ramen was piping hot. also had a strawberry milk shake and a latte. we ate in the garden by the dolphin fountain, the place was busy but the service was excellent.....staff were amazing.

In the past, the Trouble House served as both a pub and a designated stop on the local railway. The landlord even provided beer crates. Recently, I had an amazing experience at Trouble House during Sunday lunch. The service was prompt, the food was hot and delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. I particularly enjoyed their nut roast Sunday dinner which was the best I've ever had.
Delicious food, fantastic service and a hidden gem just on the outside of Tetbury. Me and my partner were very impressed with the quality of the food at the trouble house. My partner had the burger which was cooked to perfection and it was huge! Perfect portion for meat lovers. Sadly, I suffer with IBS so I stuck with the chicken dish with the mustard sauce on the side. But I was not disappointed as the chicken was very moist and tasty. After dinner, my partner had the crumble and in his words ‘this is the best crumble I’ve ever had. You could taste all the different fruits and the crumble was crunchy’. Can’t recommend this place enough. Compliments to the chef - we can’t wait to visit again in the future.

We stopped for dinner on a Saturday night without a reservation. Although they were fully booked, we were early enough that they seated us. The staff are very friendly and gave us a history of the building. The dining area was small but charming, with a very welcome woodburner. Our meal was excellent but the real star of the show was the homemade blackberry apple crumble. We shared it but should've had two! Lovely place and people, wish we lived close by so we could go more often!

We had the most amazing stay here… from the minute we arrived until we left, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed for one night in the adjoining guest house, and I only wish I could’ve stayed longer. The food was outstanding, I had the beef Bourginon for dinner and the next day we had a cooked breakfast which was delicious.

We first went to The Trouble House during lockdown to help local pubs. And we found the service and food to be amazing! Sad that we didn’t find this gem earlier. And since then we’ve been coming there ever since . Today we had the pork roast belly in which I can only describe as one or the best roast I’ve ever had. The staff is always helpful, the place is clean and nice, and the food is always consistently great. Love you guys!

I’m so impressed with Trouble House! Came to visit for Sunday lunch last week and the service was quick, food arrived hot, great portion size, and was absolutely delicious! I ordered a nut roast Sunday dinner and I have to say it was the best I’ve ever had. The Yorkshire’s were large, we had plenty of roast potatoes and a variety of veg, all cooked well, not over done or soggy. Our Mum had the pork belly and again that was a large portion of meat and came with crackling. We came away so happy and would not hesitate to visit again!

Only had lunch here, which was very good. Scallops to start were great, then calves liver with a very tasty gravy. Partner had potted shrimps and then cheese souffle ( could have done with more cheese) over all it was very good. Only open evenings Friday and Saturday.

I don't think I've ever had a better meal at a pub! The new landlords have created a menu with so many choices, it was tricky to pick just one from each course. There were four of us dining, and not one of us could fault our meal in any way. Quite superb. A lovely pub, with a good atmosphere, well trained staff and the best food. Top marks.

We visited yesterday on the off chance. We had really excellent sandwiches so decided to return today for lunch. Three courses, each one as good as we've had anywhere. The beef bourguignon was amazing and the sticky toffee pudding divine. Its well worth a visit. Big shout out to the chef, Rory and the cheerful and friendly staff.

Most of our 4 meals were great but unfortunately the lamb shank wasn't up to scratch. The staff were great and replaced it without any fuss but this one wasn't great either. In fairness they were very apologetic and took this dish off the bill which seemed very fair. Everything else was great so I would suggest that this was the exception. Overall we felt that it was good value and we would be happy to return soon if we are looking for a venue in that area.
