Cafe
The Coffee Pot is an excellent café that accommodates both vegan and non-vegan customers. The staff, particularly Sophie the server, are extremely friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Visitors on a family holiday or couples with dogs will find it to be a great place to dine, with a clean and tidy atmosphere. While deliveries can sometimes be challenging, the quality of the food and the friendly staff make up for any inconvenience.
Brilliant cafe, catered for 3 vegans and 1 none. Was more than helpful and couldnt do enough. Sophie our server was so friendly and bubbly and was very kind. Food tasted amazing and great prices. Thank you to all the team

This is the 2nd time we have visited the Coffee pot when we have come to East Coast. Opens up nice and early. Nice reasonable prices. Lovely fresh breakfast , as big or small as you'd like. Service with a smile. 5* plenty of seating, table service.

As you can see from the review below we loved this place and had some great experiences up until the last time we went a few mths ago Started like every other time went in and up to the till waiting 5 mins to speak to server as they where too busy talking while we waited you could see into the kitchen and sat on on of the counter was a baby playing now i understand that this might not be a popular review but a home kitchen isnt a good place for a baby to play never mind a professional kitxhen serving food to the public i hope they sanitised everything and kept a close eye on the little one at the bar we then ordered and payed for our coffee they showed us to a table said they would come back in a few and off they went back to chatting. The table was a little dirty and could have done with a wipe but it was getting to closing time so we though they might have just forgot we will tell them when they take our order after waiting 15 mins we gave up waiting and we left as we walked out they where still talking. Please note there was 2 tables in at that time so they weren't busy So in the end we went over they road and got great food coffee and service at busy bees Previouse review which was 5 star -We have now been 3 times and every time we have had a great experience staff are ways happy and polite nothing is.too much , breakfasts are beautiful that's all we have tried so far think next visit we will try something new-

Good little cafe but hard to get deliverys had one out of about 5 times tryin but the foods good not bad at all staff are friendly enough too just about lol its ok in there
Si Rhodes — Google review
Although the food was great, I was disappointed to be handed a can of lilt covered in some sort of brown substance. I took the can back and asked for a replacement only to be handed another can of lilt with the same brown substance. Although the second can wasn't as bad, it was still unacceptable and makes you wonder what other hygiene issues are being overlooked.

Nice Little Eatery, With Good Service and Fairly Priced on SOME Items. (£3.45 for a Bowl of Cereal? Come off it!) Some of the Portions are a Little Short - 1x Bacon and 2x Sausage in a Baguette? Pfft.

RUDE STAFF. Deffo need some customer service training. Took 10 mins to finally take order after i had to go up to desk to ask if we order there. Staff where very rude had no manners made us feel very unwelcomed. When Food finally came it was shocking bacon really salty grease all over plate fried bread inedible. This is not a dig at the business this is just an honest review.

In addition to their impressive menu, Lady B's also specializes in providing homemade baked goods for all occasions. Their offerings are prepared daily and cater to everyone's taste buds.
We went here for afternoon tea, what a lovely selection. Tea/ coffee as much as you like. Easy accessible. We parked in The Beck carpark( 4.00 for the day) just a short walk. Service was good. Toilets spotless and the flamingo wallpaper suited the decor.

Very pleasant, staff friendly and helpful. Ploughman's was tasty and some interesting cheesecake. Seems popular for lunchtime so perhaps good to book ahead though we were fortunate. Dog friendly area outside at the front, sheltered and comfortable. Nice cappuccino and plenty of tea choices too.

Morning ride from Grimsby, bit cold so stopped for a hot drink. Large choice of cheesecake flavours, went for Mars Bar flavour and an hot chocolate. Place is much bigger inside, a bit TARDIS like. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was great and with a fair size menu it's worth multiple visits. Another visit today 17 April 2022, same quality of food and service, tried Vanilla Cheesecake in half an Easter egg, what can I say but it was so fine.

Amazing!! Myself and my boyfriend visited this afternoon and the food is absolutely delightful, esp the cheesecakes. Love the china tea cups, lovely touch. And very refreshing to find somewhere that does decaffeinated drink options. The decor was stunning and the staff are so polite and welcoming. Very happy pregnant lady. Booked again for later on this week whilst we are on holiday.

Really great food, staff are so nice and the place overall is really great. It has like a calm aesthetic theme. The panini is really nice and the cake here is really good especially the chocolate. Since it’s winter time I ordered a hot chocolate and it was really really good this place deserves a 5 star

Just the best place to come for cheesecake. The staff are amazing. So friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you so much for another wonderful dining experience. Xmas decorations are stunning. Such a relaxing atmosphere. We had meatball baguettes. Beautiful. Followed by white chocolate twix cheesecake. Gorgeous and creamy. All washed down with a Pina Colado. Just heavenly. A Merry Christmas to all the hard working staff at Lady Bs. Can't wait to see you in January.

WOW - we have been looking forward to coming here for several weeks and we were not disappointed. The service was spot on and OMG the food amazing. We had the cream team, scones we're very fresh, cheesecake and a nice little Malteser Cupcake to finish off. All washed down with a piping hot pot of tea. Just want we needed on such a wet and miserable day.

Many customers express their intention to return in the future due to such a positive experience. This cafe was discovered unexpectedly during a family vacation and quickly became a favorite spot for its relaxed atmosphere and cleanliness.
We came across this lovely place by accident when on a half term break. It was the best find during our family holiday. The atmosphere was so relaxed, and the cafe clean. The staff catered for my very fussy 4 year old and were happy to heat my 4 month olds milk bottle without fuss, we felt very welcome.

Looked on Google for a good breakfast and read some reviews about Busy Bees café. So decided to try this cafe. I after say the staff are wonderful people, great atmosphere and service. Food was fast we had the large English Breakfast , sausages, bacon, mushrooms, egg, beans, chopped tomatoes and instead of Hash browns they served potato scallops which are freshly made and I loved them not fatty like Hash browns also comes with option of sliced bread and butter or fried bread I chose the fried bread and cup of tea. The tea is a lovely brew also . Extremely good quality and excellent value price definitely will be going again. Thank you so much for your lovely service.

Fantasia, an Italian restaurant, boasts impeccable cuisine and a pristine ambiance. The service is top-notch, with staff consistently checking in on patrons and ensuring their satisfaction. Such exceptional treatment inspired a generous tip of $1.50. If you seek an extraordinary dining experience, this establishment is the perfect choice. The food is delightful and reasonably priced, outshining other local Italian restaurants that may be overcrowded. Quality ingredients are skillfully prepared by friendly personnel who provide attentive service throughout the bustling establishment.
Food and service was excellent very good portions will definitely be returning.

Absolutely wonderful food! They seated us kindly just 20 minutes before closing time. Me and my partner ordered a lasagne, Spaghetti bolognaise and cheese and tomato garlic bread. The food was cooked perfectly! The bolognaise i had a rich and beefy taste. The portion size is on the bigger size too, so for us we found the pricing to be very reasonable.

Restaurant
The Beck is a simple eatery that offers a range of delicious food options including a carvery menu, pizza, fish and chips, and other comfort food. It is conveniently located in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, with on-site parking available. The restaurant has received a high rating of 5 stars and positive feedback for its lovely food and generous portion sizes at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and helpful, making it easy to place orders.
Came here for a break away staying at Haven Golden Sands, not much in Mablethorpe for food but this place more then makes up for it. The food was lovely and portion size is wow!, the price was very reasonable, convenient location and on site parking. Staff where friendly and helpful, very easy to order and lovely clean and spacious pub. Place is a must 👌
Richard Aitchison — Google review
Came here for a carvery with my family whilst on holiday and it was one of the best I've ever had! So good in fact that we are going to Skegness end of Aug and have already said we will be booking in for our Sunday dinner again. So much variety and all tasted really nice.
Leanne Evans — Google review
We went there for the carvery and it did not disappoint. All the meat options were excellent and well cooked but the star of the show was the Turkey pie, great crust and good meaty filling. The Beck is a nice pub, spacious and clean. The staff were friendly but somewhat annoying. We asked for a small plate and was told we were not allowed one and needed to buy a full priced meal which comes with a plate. We had 2 small children, one was only 3 years old and it is ludicrous to think they would eat a full carvery. Not value for money paying £8.99 for a very small piece of meat and few vegetables. The menu needs to be changed to accommodate for the little ones.
Rod O'Regan — Google review
We haven't been for a few years, but have been coming to the Beck since about 2005, as our Caravan was in Mablethorpe. IMO It's one of the best places in town for a nice meal out, including their popular carvery. The Beck has plenty of parking (be aware they charge for their parking for non restaurant users) and it's a nice looking place just along about 300yds from Jackson's Arcade in Quebec road at the seafront end of the town. It has a mixture of regular seating, and seating booths along the front side, which we always sit in. We'd booked for our recent visit (first time since COVID started) which is always advisable, and had a Burger, 2 Pizzas + sides of Garlic Bread, Onion Rings, Chips & drinks. We were all feeling hungry, and excited to be back eating in one of our favourite places in Mablethorpe. Ordering was as at the bar, and very straightforward, and were told with the 2 Pizzas we'd ordered, you got a 3rd free! (We couldn't eat it, so they kindly gave us pizza box so we could take it home). Our food arrived within about 15-20 minutes, served by a lovely, friendly lady, and was nicely presented on wooden slabs, OK for pizza, but would've preferred plates for the burger. The food was lovely, with decent tasting pizza, and well cooked. A minor criticism, was the burger came with only a handful of chips in a basket, which was cool, but rather stingy compared to the sides of chips. Our experience on this visit wasn't the best due to a group of rowdy student types, who were constantly swearing, but luckily they were only in for a quick carvery feed up, and soon left. It hasn't changed a lot over the years, although the styling has been modernised, but the staff are still great, and so is the food, and that's what really matters. Overall, good value for those looking for a decent 'pub grub' experience.
Dave M — Google review
Awful place. Paid over £40 for two meals and two non alcoholic drinks. Surf and turf £22 then charged £3 for peppercorn sauce (without telling us) - wouldn't mind if it was a nice meal but steak was so well done and there were 3 tiny bits of scampi. Hunters chicken special was a reasonable price at £8.99 but vile. Clearly warmed up chicken and there was a weird mushy bit inside it so couldn't finish. Miserable waiters and just all round awful.
Victoria Brooks — Google review
We visited as a family group of 8 during a recent trip to Mablethorpe. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food was reasonably priced and served quickly, considering that there were 8 of us. We would definitely go back if we were in the area again.

Have my first carvery in over a year thanks to covid. Rules better relaxed now but still maintain Good hygiene standards. Food was excellent, pub was busy. Outdoor seating area for food. Lovely staff. Toilets were more than adequate too.

This is a really nice place to eat. We sat under the canopy on the decking because we had our puppy with us but it was fine because it's nicely covered. All 5 of us finished our meals, they were delicious. The staff were great & courteous. It's been a lovely experience. We'd come back.
Bec Fawcett-Howitt — Google review
Wow what can I say about The Beck, we came here for lunch and I had a steak and Stilton pie, mum had steak and ale. They were amazing massive huge chunks of melt in your mouth steak and the side of the pie was like a doorstop, they were also on a 2 for 1 offer so we got the cheepest 1 free 😍 Carrots on the dry side but that is my one and only criticism would highly recommend here to anyone. BEST PIE I'VE HAD ANYWHERE EVER!
Vpcg — Google review
Wasn't sure what to expect from this carvery as some can't be hit or miss. This one was by far one of the best we have had. Plenty of meat choices, lamb, turkey, beef, gammon.. I chose gammon and beef both delicious. Also really lovely roast potatoes cooked perfectly. (for me) mash and lots of veg. Carvery is on every day. Looking fwd to having another meal here this week before we go home. Reasonably priced for what you get. Drinks also quite good price wise.

Called in today in spec , just by chance. We had travelled from near Stamford to Donna Nook and were looking for lunch on way home. We like to stop off at Mabletherpe for a walk around and just happened to find The Beck. It was very busy and had to wait a short time for a table to come free. The wait was so worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful and did all they could to make us welcome. The meal from the carvery was superb, tasty. , piping hot , plentiful and the winter price is unbelievably good. Thank you so much , we will certainly come again
Barry Briggs — Google review
We visited The Beck at Mablethorpe on a busy Sunday lunchtime for a carvery even though we didn't book a table we waited roughly about 30 minutes the carvery was fresh and hot in fact it was one of the best carvery we have had for a long time. The staff was busy clearing the tables as soon as people left. I would recommend a try we be returning when we a in the area again
Chris Beeching — Google review
First noticed this pub when we parked nearby on arrival on Friday. Booked a table super last minute, I'm talking like booked for half past and booked at five past kinda thing. So that were super accommodating for a large party of us (10). The staff were ser friendly, the majority had a carvery, which looked fab, kids meals were great, and salad bowls were huge and flavoursome, honey glazed ham was lush. Reasonably priced and fab selection of gins too!
