Avoid at all costs. The food is prepared from ready meals. They only heat them up. The salad was hours old, wilted and inedible. Half of the pork knuckle was cold, hard, you could feel that it had been baked much earlier and only reheated.

I stopped at this charming restaurant for a lunch break during my tour of Dachstein. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable. I chose the pork wagtail dish, which was generously portioned, good in taste although not exceptional (it needed a bit more cooking for my taste)

Dropped in at the end of a day's skiing for a drink and something to eat. Impressed with the quick and efficient service and also liked the traditional atmosphere of the restaurant. I didn't need to struggle with my German as the waiter spoke very good English. The beers were good, and we enjoyed the veal goulash and mixed salad. The cakes looked tasty, but we were full! It was fairly quiet when we visited late afternoon, but our waiter said that you need to book in the evenings.

Great stop to take a break from hiking. Friendly staff and fast service. The quality and portion size is really good. You can pay cash or with card. If you pay with card there is a extra fee of 1.50€ so I recommend to pay with cash. There are plenty of playgrounds for the kids.

Easy to find and with enough parking, this restaurant welcomes you with plenty of atmospheric indoor or outdoor seating with a great view. Waiters can get a bit busy and are not very accommodating of special requests, but at least you’ll never wait long for your orders. The soups and Kasnock’n are pretty decent and very typical of the region - you can’t go wrong with that. The Schweinsbraten they offer every Sunday is a delight, however, and probably one of the best meals I’ve had in this region. Definitely come here on a Sunday. That said, even if you are not a fan of meaty hearty dishes, check out their home made cakes, pies and other desserts. It’ll make your mouth water.

EXCELLENT FOR CHILDREN! The perfect place for parents to eat and drink a coffee /tea / beer while their kids play. There's tons of facilities for children to enjoy. A playground, go carts, an inflatable castle for jumping, a HUGE sandbox and inside the restaurant there's a toy kitchen. The food itself is also very good in my opinion, we stayed there for three hours. I also think it would be good on a rainy day because the sandbox has a roof and the indoor kids kitchen is also great. If you have kids and want a nice meal then GUY SAYS GO FOR IT!

Good food. Small playground. No grass. Long wait for order but food came quickly. The cake went bad but they changed it. They should taste it before serving. All in all it is good. There are better ones near by if you are with children.

Well....the service couldn't be worse. Waiting, waiting, waiting for everything. The last drop - capuccino arrived 30 minutes after the order, together with the bill (which came also late). Owner is apologizing to everyone on the terrace stating that there is the problem with the personal, but... One would need to spend a decent effort to convince us to come again and give a second chance. Uh..

We came there for lunch in the middle of the week in high season. And they have Ruhetag? Dayoff. Better avoid all Restaurants in the middle of nowhere and stay direct in the center.

The view & dining! Lovely family owned mountain restaurant. Exceptional quality of food (delicious soups, also try the Kaiserschmarrn If you're a sweettooth). Can't do anything wrong here. It's a bit remote but the food the mountain view(!) and the atmosphere are worth the little hike!

we came for dinner,the waiter could not make me ice coffee without icecream since I have gestational diabetes.We waiten very long for our food and we were the only table to be asked if we are tested for Covid 19,because we were foreigners.
