Every time when we visit Balatonfüred we can't miss to eat some great italian food at Arany Csillag Pizzeria. We have never been disappointed in the last 15 years. :-) Their "garlic souce with pizzagolyó" is something what we recommend to friends from all over the world. :-)

OK, nothing special, but tasty italian dishes. For the comfort and elegance of the place it is overpriced though. It needs a major rehaul.

Best Margarita Pizza I ever had.

The food is great (the lasagne and the tiramisu are absolutely delicious), the service is a little unenthusiastic. Dropping in for an evening meal is quite a Russian roulette here though as they close ridiculously early even mid-summer, and they often refuse to serve you if there's a crowd, which happens often. So it's a good idea to have a reservation.

We go every year with 80 7th graders on our fall trip away from school. Service is always friendly. Get the pizza rolls with dipping sauce. So good! We look forward to it every year as a highlight of our trip.

Prepare for some hefty disappointment with inattentive waiters and food bad and salty... There really shouldn't be much to get wrong on a prosciutto pizza, and yet we sent half of it back, remaining hungry instead. Many years ago it was a safe bet to eat here. Now the safe option is to avoid this place...

10 years ago this place was top. Even in 2019 we ate a very good pasta there. But unfortunately Covid did his job: the tortellini was like freshly purchased from the shop with a cheap cheesesouce (budget). The meat was the cheapest grinded meat (spam) what you could possibly buy. For this the price is average. The waiters are not really behaving like they are waiters. They are friendly, but they do not behave like pros. Worth to give them a 2nd Chance for the old times.

Fantastic restaurant. Modern cuisine at its best. Seasonal menus with imaginative combinations of flavours updating the best traditional Hungarian dishes alongside international menu choices. Quality ingredients beautifully presented in a relaxed environment. We come here several times a year whenever we are in Balatonfured. The best restaurant in Hungary and for us in the world.

Absolutely the best - every single dish from starter to mains and dessert hit the mark. We tried almost all their starters and were impressed! Excellent and friendly service . Food worthy of Michelin star !

Very nice, friendly, professional service! The food was excellent, very well prepared and seasoned, especially tasty! The wine pairing was also amazing, some of the best local wines! There is room for improvement nevertheless, the courses of the tasting menu were a bit rushed, and I had to drink the wine faster than I would have liked. Also, the billing could be slightly improved, the tasting menu included a bottle of water, however this was billed separately, and we also had a salad on the bill which we did not actually receive. I forgot to check the bill before leaving, I'm sure it would have been corrected, though this would better be avoided. Thanks again for the great hospitality and tasty food!

Went for the ratings and unfortunatelly very dissapointing,.expectations were high. Mushroom consome, nice though just that, nice. Wines, tried primitivo, very good and Malbec, not sure how they can have such a low quality wine and over priced it. Lamb, well cut..and thats it. Expected something else than just bake it, no sauce, nothing appealing. Surely not worth the cost, for the pricing anywhere else you get proper fine dinning. Service was correct and friendly though below level as well as what should be. Paid.72.000 ft, 2 person plus a child.

nice atmosphere, not crowded, the staff is friendly. the only not complaint but reservation we had: we felt the chef overthought some of the food we ate. perfect quality, just a bit too much. the meal felt as if it was overflowing with competing tastes. besides that: perfect.

The best restaurant so far in Hungary. Well trained and friendly staff. Very refined dishes with perfect portion. Even though it is expensive, it worths the price.

Nice, simple place, more on the fine-dining side of the chart. Traditional and "trendier" menus, great wine pairing. Perfect service, very sympathetic people ready to make your dinner q good experience. Also not the cheapest, but they are not playing the "we are poshy" game either.

My local friends recommended this place to me so I decided to test it. And it was definitely worth it. Food was exquisite. My pork was probably best I have ever had. The tomato-strawberry soup was an interesting combination but again delicious.

Not just a cute place but the food was excellent. Fresh pasta with shrimp was just perfectly done. Omg, Wild pork loin was very tender and juicy. Well balance with the sides decorated on the plate. Highly recommend.

Definitely a must for Gin & Tonic fans! A really great place with an extremely wide selection of cocktails and Gin & Tonics. In addition, its location is also good, and we really liked that they are open until late, in fact, it is one of the places that closes at the latest in the area. They offer very creative and varied drinks, among which everyone is guaranteed to find something that suits their taste. The food we tasted was also tasty, but the portions are not very large, so if someone doesn't just want to have a snack with the drinks, but is really hungry, it is worth ordering more than one course. However, it is very positive that you can order food until closing. The service was really nice, polite and attentive, and we also received great advice on which drink to choose from the range that suits our taste.

Since there is no scale for drinks I am placing 1 star for food. Terrible cocktails. Only the gin tonic was okay. They have very big menu, unfortunately they were terrible. The service was nice, the prices for the quality totally expensive.

Nice little café/bar, a lot of choices of drinks from coffee to cocktails, can go anytime.

We ran into this bar by chance and it was a lovely surprise. The drinks are excellent and origina, the place looks very cozy, probably in the summertime is more vivid, but we liked it anyway. Worths paying it a visit!

Live DJ on Friday evening, which is good; but far too laud, that ruins the atmosphere. Waiters are kind, but often need to remind them for the order. Toilets are simply disgusting. We haven't taste the snacks. Cocktails are super, they have a lot of variety from to choose: different basis, tastes, interesting combinations.

Great cocktails. Staff is a little inexperienced but are nice and welcoming. Look at this White Russian. Perfection! Recommend the place any time!

Lovely little gem close to the harbour. Great to visit for a coffee or snack.

High expectations not full filled because of the following reason: Not really warm welcomed. And many dishes have been served wrong like: Fish soup instead of Gulash. One dish was already completely cold and had to be replaced. The service generally was rather slow. Dessert card was not offered even we asked for. Food: All the food was very dry and seemed not cooked freshly. The highlight was the Gulash. The other dishes we can’t recommend. The vegetarian dish was not really tasty.

If you love Hungarian food, you will be happy. If you look for healthier alternatives or something slightly "modern", not so much. Therefore average. Most of the dishes are fried, even on the kids menu. Quite pricey. Staff were ok. Probably a very traditional, popular place, but if you are looking for something more interesting, choose a different place.

Our experience at Baricska Csarda was absolutely amazing! The beef stew with cottage cheese noodle was so tasty, and the grilled coat cheese with mixed salad and hazelnuts had us craving for more. The staff's warm hospitality and the vibrant ambiance made our lunch experience truly memorable. We're already planning our next visit!

Very good place. Food was amazing and service was perfect as well. I can recommend fish soup and carp as appetiser. We had pork leg and zander. Everything was delicious. Sitting outside between grapes is also a place for romantic dinner.

Great restaurant, with great food. They really know what they are doing. They don't serve cola of other brands like that but have great alternatives. Would recommend it.

The best place you can go in Balatofured. Staff is so nice, very helpful with dishes. It's traditional hungarian cousine. Food was yumi and there was live hungarian music in the restaurant. Top place!

I visited it again. The quality of food goes down. Last year it was amazing. This time it was below average. Meat was oversalted and tough. I hope, they will improve back to they original level. Pictures here are from one year ago visit.

Excelent location, in a vinyard. The staff speaks english, the service is correct. Food was absolutely delicious and the prices were fair.

i asked mineral water with gas, i got tap water with co2 beside that its okay.

We had a good dinner experience at this place. Delicious food and very attentive and friendly staff. We had 2 pizzas, mussels and salmon. Perfect quality and good portions.

A lovely little find in Balatonfured. The menu has lots of different options. The waiting staff are very friendly. There is seating indoors and outdoors with views over the lake. The food was very good and large portions. We would visit again when in the area.

Without reservation on a specific table you'll get the worse one inside. Food is Good but may be improved a bit. The terrace has a beautiful view to boats.

Nice restaurant with a view on a little private port. Tagliatelle alla bolognese were good. In the seafood dish we ordered (linguine ai frutti di mare) the octopus was not properly cooked. Overall is a good restaurant. Maybe a bit noisy inside!

They were quite slow, and bored. I did not like the food at all, we tried some pasta, pizza, risotto - average place without any plus. Great location.
