La de Manu is an extraordinary establishment that warrants a return visit, even if it means traveling all the way from Porto. The ingredients used in their dishes are of exceptional quality, and the way they are presented is truly top-notch. Not only does the food taste outstanding, but the staff members are also incredibly friendly and provide fast service. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a magnificent dining experience.
It's a really lovely place for lunch or dinner! Great food and lovely surrounding area. Reasonably priced and polite staff.

Great food and a nice spot to stop on our camino. Not cheap but the seafood croqettes and seafood squid ink spaghetti were delicious.
Tessa Oakley — Google review
Not a great experience. Not too bad, either. Except for the octopus, which was very tough, the quality of the food was mostly average. The service was slightly below average, our waitress was not nice at all. We eat outdoors and had to go inside to pay since the waitress was nowhere to be seen after requesting the bill. Even if you don't ask for bread, they'll bring it and charge you for it. Also, unlike the rest of the outdoor dining places in town, they don't allow smoking outdoors. We don't smoke, but the couple in the table next to ours was upset about that. I would not recommend this place, there are plenty of better places around town.

Amazing place, would come back from Porto to eat here again! Quality of the ingredients is top notch, presentation too and taste exceptional. Staff very nice and service is quick. Super recommend!

Restaurant
Arrayal 39, a restaurant in Tui, attracts pilgrims and locals with its warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Despite feeling slightly out of place upon arrival, hungry patrons are delighted by the delicious food offerings. The Ensalata Completa impresses with its amazing flavors, while the Fried Calamari stands out as the best in years. The caramelized onion stuffed mushrooms are equally delectable and rival those cooked at home. The Olive Oil used is simply sensational.
Coming out of Tui as a couple hot, thirsty pilgrims, I diverted my wife here 10 minutes before opening. The lady preparing to open seated us. We were a bit out of place, but we were hungry. The Ensalata Completa was marvelous. The Fried Calamari were the best I have had in years. The caramelized onion stuffed mushrooms were as good as the ones we cook. The Olive Oil was sensational. We will stop on our next pilgrimage. Such wonderful staff. 💖

Restaurant
Restaurante O NOVO Cabalo Furado is an impressive tapas restaurant located near the cathedral in Tui. Their menu offers a variety of mouthwatering options such as empanadas, salad, beans, chipirones (baby squids), hamburger, and entrecote. The meals are complemented by delightful desserts and your choice of beer or wine. The setting is great with a nice terrace and spacious interior where you can witness the preparation of your food in their open kitchen.
If you visit Tui for one day, you should eat here. It cannot go wrong. The location is perfect next to the old church in the heart of the city. Locals eat here as well. Nice choice of wine and friendly personnel.
Tomas de Loo — Google review
super friendly staff and awesome quality. You can see how they prepare everything as they have an open kitchen. The terrace looks really nice and the interior is big. Good location close to the cathedral. A must is el crujiente de manzana.

Went here Thinking it was vello de cabola, which is next door. Was told the latter only serves til lunch the peregrino menu. I was not that hungry and wanted soup. Yummy and wait staff could not have been kinder!

Amazing “menu” for €13,50. Empanadas, salad, beans etc for starters, chipirones, hamburger, entrecote etc for mains. Plus desserts. Beer or wine included. Great setting near the cathedral. Excellent and friendly service! Definitely worth a detour. Visit the cathedral (!) next door.

Pilgrims were filling up the place, we got there before the crowd. Since we don't speak Spanish we showed a picture from prior reviews. Wow! The paprika and butter sauce with clams, mussels, fish, potatoes and peppers was amazing! We split the dish and were stuffed...excellent!
Polly Rathe — Google review
This is one of my favourite restaurants not only in Spain but in Europe. The quality of the food is outstanding, the recipes are unique in a traditional but also innovative way. The wine selection is fantastic, and the staff will be always able to advise you based on your menu choices. The desserts bring a bit of a nostalgic, beautiful twist from heritage recipes into the 21st experimental cuisine. You have the beautiful and modern terrace sitting, as well as the more traditional indoors. Located next to the stunning cathedral, you will have a memorable experience there. Recommendations: any fish and seafood, the croquetas, and the tarta de la abuela.

Great place, nicely refurbished. Eat on terrace if warm enough. Dining room nice but when full the acoustics make it really noisy. Food excellent and service friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back.

One of my favorites. Mandatory visit to enjoy the local fish and meats. In front of the Cathedral from Tui. One of the most beautiful villages in the area.

Taperia O Albergue is a fantastic spot to conclude your week of walking the Caminho Portugues. Not only does it offer a wide variety of delicious and satisfying dishes, but it also boasts an impressive wine list. Their freshly made tortillas are a must-try, along with their traditional options of fish or pork. The affordability is another plus, as you can enjoy two courses, dessert, and coffee for just 9.50 units of currency.
Great food! Very good menu and big rations, my friends recommended this place to me, and I'm sure I'll be back! plus the employees are very nice. 10/10

A great place to end our week of walking the caminho Portuges. Good selection of filling foods and decent wine list too. Freshly cooked tortillas made to order plus the usual perigrino menu staples of fish or pork. €9.50 for 2 courses plus dessert and coffee is a winner everytime. Buen Camino folks.

We were from NL. Explained what we wanted (just a beer and a wine). Service ignored us (we were well dressed). People who got there after us were served. Asked two times, walked out. Horrible customer service! Only give 1 star because I can't give 0.

We travel to this area every year for a business exhibition in Vigo. For the last 3 years we have hoteled in Tui. The Rest. El Molino we have always found excellent in atmosphere and service. The Grandmother and mother control an excellent kitchen with the daughter Laura front of house. We are specialist seafood people and the experience we have had with seafood at Rest. Molino has been excellent. It is certainly roccomrnded.
