San Pedro de Atacama

The Atacama Desert in northern Chile is an arid region of extreme beauty, made all the more so by its prominence on the world's astronomical map. The region is known for its clear skies that give fascinating opportunities to view the night sky, and which attracts astronomers from all over the world. Another attraction is the Atacama Desert, one of the driest places on Earth. Its name comes from the native Atacameño people, who once inhabited the region.

The hostel Piedras Rojas Hostal offers a glimpse of the crimson-hued landscape that surrounds a salt lake. Unfortunately, access to the area up close is restricted to all visitors. Most guests come to appreciate the otherworldly topography and capture stunning photographs of the distant mountains from a vantage point. These picturesque views include the scarlet rocks in the distance. The first explorers who stayed at this establishment likely rented a double room for $46 with two comfortable beds and a pleasant bathroom.
We were probably the first ones who stayed there. We rented a double room for 46$ with two comfy beds and a nice bathroom. There was only cold water but that's nothing that matters at least during thw hot summer months. It was very clean. It's a block from the bus station so a little far from the center.

The Meteorite Museum is a scientific museum located in geodesic domes, showcasing an extensive collection of meteorites. The museum offers a personal and private collection of mainly Atacama meteorites gathered over 35 years. Visitors can expect an in-depth explanation of each source of meteoric material with multiple examples that they can handle. The museum provides a twenty-minute tour that is a must-see for anyone interested in learning about what falls to earth through the atmosphere.
Tiny place with a world-class collection. Excellent audio tour and displays. Well worth the visit if you care about anything interesting ;)

A very nice experience at the Museo del Meteorito! The exhibits are informative and nicely presented, offering an insight into meteorites. It was to have the opportunity to touch real meteorite specimens. I highly recommend a visit to the Museo del Meteorito to anyone with even a passing interest in space or science, it’s a very fast visit but it is an enriching experience!
Valeria Testa — Google review
It is a good, small museum for the price. You do get to see a lot of things you won’t see anywhere else! The audio tour was offered in English, which was much appreciated. The only qualm is that the guide might be a tad too technical for non-scientific folks. My wife said there were times where she got lost due to the jargon (and I’d agree that I did too sometimes). All in all, a good stop if you are in the area though.

Pretty cool tiny museum that tells you about the science of meteorites and how they are more easily found in the desert than anywhere else. English language guide available and the nice woman explained the magnet bits in the middle at the end of the audio tour.

Absolutely awesome museum and a must do if in San Pedro de Atacama! The museum visit is thoughtfully narrated through the various exhibits walking the visitor through the types of meteorites, where they developed, and how they wound up on earth
Russell Ruplinger — Google review
A personal, private collection of mainly Atacama meteorites gathered over a period of 35 years and thoughtfully shared with the world. Great explanation for all levels of interest. An indepth description of each source of meteoric material with multiple examples that you may handle. If you are at all interested in what falls to earth through our atmosphere, this twenty minute tour is a must-see. Took me over an hour, including a discussion with the meteorite collector and owner of the place. Priceless! You've got to touch this to believe it! Very reasonably priced. Maybe a family/group rate for 5 or more would be in order? And a juice bar for those who say, it is ONLY rocks! I'd buy little meteorites if they were available. Suggestion: affordable fragments
Bruce Gayle — Google review
A small beautiful museum with loads of scientific facts about meteorites. It takes you through the different types of meteorites that contributed to the formation of earth and that can be found on/in our planet (I hope that's a good explanation 😂😂) and more! They have audio guides in all the languages included in the price (4000CP pp) so you'll be fine. You can also read, watch videos and everything so it is very well thought, in case your vision or hearing is impaired. You can even touch and buy yourself a meteorite!!
Camille Mdc — Google review
Nice little museum to learn about the meteorites found in the region.

Nice museum, although the audio guide (available in a few different languages) is very technical and not easy to follow for the general public. There are plenty of interesting facts and you can touch with your hand meteorites and compare with other rocks. Worth a stop

Hotel Jardin Atacama is a well-located colonial-style hotel in San Pedro that offers comfortable, spacious rooms with private bathrooms. The friendly staff are great for help with booking flights or getting around town. The breakfast is excellent, featuring muesli and fresh fruits.
Fantastic hotel! Located centrally in San Pedro de Atacama…the town is at your doorstep…cafes, shops, tour groups, ancient ruins and the Atacama Desert. The staff was amazing and accommodating. They have a refrigerator to store your perishables (or cold beer). The breakfast was AWESOME! The kitchen crew goes out of their way to bake cakes and cookies to go along with your eggs and meats! They go above and beyond! Marcela really stood out! Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Hotel Jardin Atacama. The team were so lovely and helpful. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and charming. There is a tasty breakfast with many options served each morning. Lastly, the ambiance is like a small Oasis. We enjoyed sitting outside by the pool and just resting in the comfy hammocks.
Theresa Carthy — Google review
Hotel Jardin Atacama is a little oasis after returning from excursions in the desert. We stayed in the family size room and it had enough space and shelving for items. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The courtyard and pool area for relaxing was also very nice. We also appreciated the fan in the room since it was definitely necessary in the middle of summer time. We would have slept better if there was actually air conditioning since the days we were there were very hot. But we understand that it's rare to get that in the area.

a pleasant location with friendly and helpful staff. my room was very clean and pleasant. i was only at the hotel 18 hours mainly as a sleeping spot so i could bird-watch, so i didn't use the pool or other amenities, email was good and reasonably fast, breakfast was good
Ross Waters — Google review
10/10 would recommend Hotel Jardin. It’s a very cute spot with all the amenities you could need in San Pedro. The rooms are a bit small but you shouldn’t be spending much time in them anyway ;). The breakfast was the best I have had on my 2 week tour through South America, the outdoor areas are very nicely furnished, and Tito at the front desk was SO helpful. I’d go as far to say he made my stay here a 10. Also, they have these super cute cats that I probably wasn’t supposed to feed but it was too funny not to!

Wonderful staff, wonderful location. Great breakfast. Loved having access to the breakfast room to play cards. Glad we could refill water bottles. Constant issue with the shower hot water going out. Hotel staff advised to turn it off and back on which works most of the time but is annoying. Wi-Fi didn’t reach the room.
Leigh Dedrick — Google review
Nice aspects: great cleaning, polite crew and an incredible breakfast! The bedroom is a bite small, but for the price it was great :) And the bed and pillows were really comfortable. Bad aspects: the heater was automatic, and not too hot. We couldn’t choose when to turn on and off. There was a party everyday at night, so we had trouble sleeping.

Nice cozy place. We stayed there for three nights and it was a good experience. Everyone was very friendly. Room was small, but cozy and clean. Well located. My only minor complaint is that sometimes you hear some noise at night, but very minor. Overall a good experience.
Juan Pablo Velez — Google review
Staff very helpful despite some limited language barriers. I had booked 3 different rooms due to limited options when I booked last minute and the staff were very helpful in assisting with room changes. Breakfast was delicious(eggs were yummy), although more black tea in the tea box would be nice (it was the first type to run out). I greatly appreciated that the breakfast room was available for use all day, either for tea or for playing games, working on computer, etc. My only complaint is that in 2 of the 3 rooms I stayed in, the hot water was either scalding or freezing cold. It would often change from hot to cold and then take 3-7 minutes to get hot again, which is very frustrating when you’re shivering in the shower while waiting for the water to get hot again. Staff suggested turning the tap off and back on when this occurred which helped but was annoying. Room 13 did not have that issue which was wonderful but is right at the front door. Wifi was limited in some rooms but worked decently and was quite helpful.

Fantastic hotel, excellent service, quaint rooms and decor. Breakfast was good. Service was excellent - they helped us by recommending tour agencies, were very responsive, and organized our transfer to and from the airport. On very early AM tours that resulted in missing hotel breakfast (ie 5am) they provided us a meal to go instead, which was a nice addition

Lovely, peaceful spot centrally located. It is incredibly clean and the staff are very friendly and obliging. Breakfast offered a good variety of cereals, fruit, toast and eggs. The daily cakes and biscuits were a bonus. The beds are comfy and the shower was terrific and didn’t take forever for the hot to come through. The courtyard and pool area perfect for relaxing. It’s not cheap but as we discovered, nothing much is. A very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Such a wonderful experience here! It all begins and ends with the host, who's warm, colorful and has a great attitude. A nice place with good service and food. They have menus of the day which are reasonably priced and include desserts. One menu can also be shared by 2 as it is fairly big. Lemonade with rica rica was really good and served by the pitcher. The food was good.

The restaurant staff is really friendly and made we feel welcomed. The food was good, it is more of a home cooked food style. The portion sizes were really big and one of the best cost-benefit restaurante in San Pedro! At the end of the dinner we got a free desert each, this was nice touch!

What a fantastic find! Tucked away from the main street, this place serves fantastic set menus. We liked it so much we had dinner here 3 times. For 10k you get a starter, main dish, a glass of wine and a dessert. The main dishes we had were all amazing - feels like your grandma is cooking for you.

Good service and a nice ambiance. Generous portions with pretty good food, although it was a little expensive. They gave us a small free dessert at the end too which was nice!

We shared the famous pastel de choclo. We found it a bit expensive (21USD) for 1 person (as it was recommended) So if you are not much hungry and just wanna try it, it’s possible to share and feel alright. It’s also more sweeter than we experienced before with the same dish in Santiago. I wouldn’t come back for that but the environment/restaurant is nice. Not sure about others options
Jane leal — Google review
This restaurant was actually recommended to us by two separate tour guides, and it did not disappoint! I finally tried Pastel de Choclo here and it was absolutely delicious! A great spot for a variety of options of traditional Chilean cuisine. We went towards the end of the night and were even offered free dessert at the end (which we were unfortunately too full and tired to accept, but the options looked delicious)!

Working in the business for over 20 years. Let’s start from the prices: fries 7000, bottle of austral lager 5000, espresso 3000..serious? Drop the prices and sell more! As a suggestion. Cazuela 5 / lomo a la pobre 4 for the quality of the meat/ pastel de choclo 7. Service kind but not attentive. Saturday night with 5 tables seated. Overall, not worth the visit. Tomorrow will try “El Huerto” close by! Stay tuned!

Please, go to this place. The service is great, the food is amazing - and every plate is a menu (salad, main, dessert). The price is average and the plates are big

The worst meal I had in San Pedro. The bread with salsa was pretty good. However, the main dish we ordered by the recommendation of our waitress was horrible. The roasted pork had a smell while it was super bland. It didn't get cooked with enough seasoning. The tomatoes were quite tasteless while the potatoes were really bland as well. However, the waitress noticed that we didn't enjoy the dish and offer a complimentary dessert. We got Chilean thousand layers cake which wasn't that bad.

One of my favorites in town. We ate there twice, as they are one of the few places that accomodates large groups. Coolest venue we saw in town, fun music. Great food (even in a large group), and very interesting menu! Go there!

Having been to three other top rated restaurants in San Pedro now, this is my favorite so far by a long shot. For starters, it has a lovely terrace seating area. For another, it has good wine. Had the Ecuadorian shrimp curry: pretty good! Good service too!

We have tried this restaurant for twice during our stays. I think this is one of the most tasty restaurants among the tops. We ordered Risotto, Salmon and all tastes very good. I won’t say it’s cheap, but it is definitely price efficient and worth the money you spend.

If you're in the mood for some contemporary Chilean cuisine, Cafe Adobe is definitely worth a visit. With its warm fire and pleasant atmosphere, it's easy to get lost in the moment. The menu features a variety of dishes that will satisfy any palate. Whether you're looking for something light and refreshing or something richer and more complex, there's sure to be something on...
Delicious food. Slightly more pricey than other local restaurants but the food quality is worth it. Some slightly odd combinations but they work. A warning - if you sit near the albeit beautiful and impressive fire pit, you will stink of smoke for days!
Dom Carr — Google review
Generous portion, well cooked meal. Maybe a little pricey for Chilean but it’s catered more for tourists. Still we were happy with our meal. There is a live band playing in the evening as well. Go early as it gets packed quickly for dinner.
Ash Yao — Google review
Excellent quality food, good wine albeit expensive, great service and a lovely atmosphere add up to a very enjoyable experience. The back part of the restaurant is truly an adobe but with flat stone walls in part, making for a really nice atmosphere. Up front is more like a courtyard but equally welcoming. Prices are high but with the quality of food, it's hard to quibble and everything we ordered was fabulous. Live music started at around 8pm and while we would have preferred the quiet, it was nice that local musicians are being supported.
Phil McC — Google review
A local recommended this place so I ventured over. I sat down and was surprised by how rickety and aesthetically unpleasant the place was. Whatever, I thought, the food must be amazing. They brought the menu and it was page after page of unremarkable options, same as every other place. The only difference being that the costs were double or triple everywhere else. I've been travelling in South America awhile and have eaten some pretty great meals. Adobe would have been the most expensive by far. Given the poor atmosphere and undifferentiated food options, I bailed. I wasn't going to get the 'dumb tourist special'. So I left. I got the same dish a few places down for half the price and it was great, and the alcohol price was also half. No gracias Adobe.

Generally delicious. Meat, mushroom pasta, desserts were great. Have to remove one star due to inconsistency with our steaks (we had ~10 over a week). First two were stunning, another two mediocre, then super chewy then back to delicious. Also, on our first visit there was absolutely no problems with swapping fries to baked potato, the next day we were told it’s impossible. Not great considering how expensive the restaurant is.

We ate here twice on our stay in San Pedro. Hands down, they would have to be the best meals we’ve had since arriving in Chile. The menu comes with an English translation and the attentive, friendly waiter also spoke it ,which helped my wife out a lot . After a long day touring we loved the open fire which added warmth and added to the atmosphere . Highly recommended.

We came here as it was the first open restaurant we saw when we arrived in San Pedro at 10:30pm. Nice vibe (firepit, live music) and as with most Chilean restaurants, warm and friendly service. English here was great. Food was okay - we had the shrimp pil pil (we were just still hungry afterwards) and given the Ceviche options on the menu, would have thought the shrimp would have been more fresh. We also had a beef dish with creamed corn on the side that was tasty but undercooked and nothing to write home about flavour-wise. Standout was the tres leches cake for dessert which was moist and creamy. Value for money could have definitely been better.
Kathleen Ooi — Google review
This restaurant was originally recommended to me for the ambience, but I was even more impressed with the food. The staff is very knowledgeable and happy to guide you through the menu for a meal that highlights local ingredients in preparations that are inspired and delicious. What they can do with a mushroom (pil pil & ceviche) will blow your mind! Excellent all around.
John Henry — Google review
Great restaurant right on the main street. Food is excellent and there was live music both nights. Service was superb and they were able to make small menu adjustments to offer several vegan options. Only thing to note is there is a fire in the middle of the restaurant and our clothes stank like bonfire after. We had to put them in plastic bags to save the rest of our suitcase.
Abby Parker — Google review
Tasty food with fun live music. A bit overpriced compared to other places in town but I would still recommend. Tables with bench seats (no back) were uncomfortable though.
Felix Winter — Google review
The atmosphere and service was good, and the food was really great. However, having dined in a few places around town over the last week; we had grown accustomed to the complimentary traditional breads and pebre, which Adobe did not offer. It would not normally be a problem, but our delicious food took a little longer than expected, and some bread and dip would've been perfect on this occasion. I'd like to reiterate that it was all pretty good, and I will recommend it to anyone travelling in this region.
Fernando Szczepaniak — Google review
The multicultural experience, the staff were really kind from begining to the end. The plates are over the average prices on the town but totally worth it. We had sopaipillas for an entry, Chicken Chancaca as main dish and the best tres leches cake you will ever taste in your life.
Sandra Lara — Google review
Extremely surprised by the incredible food found here in the middle of the desert. The best steak tartare I have ever had. The chicken in both the caesar and the Pil Pil was great. Service was wonderful all around and the recommended wine was delicious.
MKE Abroad — Google review
Great food, unfortunately the experience can be hit or miss depending on if the live band is playing or not. The music is far too loud and impossible to have a regular conversation if you’re on a table near the band. I get that it’s local music, but it’s just too gimmicky and touristy and completely kills the vibe.
S M — Google review
Best meal we had in San Pedro. The service was excellent and attentive, the place was cute and clean, the music was a great addition, and the food was excellent. Had the Pollo A Lo Pobre and it was incredible. Chicken was well cooked and the flavors blended perfectly. The Pisco Sour Peruana was also a delight. I'd eat here again and again if I could.

After our arrival in Atacama, we asked our lodge receptionist for good vegetarian restaurant around San Pedro. She highlighted Adobe as one of the best and she was not wrong. The ambience is nice and the first time we went there, our waiter Diego, gave us the best options for veggie dishes! This is the reason we went back today to sadly being disappointed by the quality of the pizza. I am not sure if the idea of good pizza is a kilo of mozzarella and a heavy dough that won’t be able to be digest for days. We sent it back after eating a couple of pieces and realizing we were just hurting ourselves to be kind. One of the waiters came back to make sure I knew I had to pay for it which of course I knew but a bit of more costumer focus touch would have been nice. Luckily the waitress that took our order came to check what went wrong and make us felt helped and welcomed and gave us a glass of wine on the house. This is a nice place as I said but if you like Italian food go for the pasta, which is amazing! And avoid the pizza because after 2 bites you won’t feel good. Thanks to Diego and the nice waitress for their way of handling returning customers.

This place was wonderful! Carmen is a great hostess who helped us through the traditional Chilean menu, which we were unfamiliar with. The food was delicious and you got so much with the lunch special. Definitely seems like a special place in the Atacama community.

Stay tuned!

Wonderful low key local place for hot food and desert.

Delicious and affordable menu for 9000 pesos. We got ceviche / pumpkin soup as a starter, pork schnitzel or veggie quiche as a main course, and flan as a dessert. The menu includes a glass of wine. The staff is very friendly. We definitely recommend this place!

The chilean restaurant La Casona is a place with excellent food and great music. It is situated in the heart of San Pedro, with a terrace that is popular with locals and tourists alike. The service is friendly and the atmosphere warm and inviting.
We went during lunch time. Waiter was Fabio, very nice and friendly. The food is well cooked, good price and delicious. There is music for local musicians and great atmosphere. Recommend for lunch and dinner.

I rarely write a public review but, in this case, really needed to vent : yes, the ambiance was nice but it doesn't justify the price we paid. The dishes were OK but really basic and the whole thing was really expansive with drinks more than twice the price of those you can find in other places. Internet was down in the whole area at the time so we didn't have access to the menu (only available with a QR code) and couldn't even know it was this overpriced until we had to pay the bill... It feels really bad to end such a nice night on such a negative note.

I asked for trigotto with camaroons. The dish is big and delicious. The price is not cheap, but almost every food in SPA is expensive, so at leats this one is worthy.

A Culinary Gem in San Pedro de Atacama! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Casona is a must-visit spot in San Pedro de Atacama, receiving rave reviews from both locals and tourists. The trendy Chilean decor creates a vibrant atmosphere, and the spacious indoor and outdoor seating options make it a versatile choice. The addition of live music at night elevates the dining/drinking experience. The staff, exemplified by the exceptional service from Edward, are not only attentive but go above and beyond to assist guests, even those not fluent in Spanish. Edward's warmth and guidance in selecting authentic Chilean dishes added a personal touch to our dining experience. The culinary journey at La Casona is a feast for the senses. We started with the BBQ for two—a colossal platter of perfectly cooked meats and potatoes, showcasing the chef's passion and skill. The following day, we indulged in the slow-cooked corn and beef dish for lunch—a flavorsome delight with tender, succulent beef. For tourists, the convenience of card payments is a boon, especially if you haven't acquired local currency yet. Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Pedro de Atacama, La Casona promises a memorable and delicious adventure that captures the essence of Chilean cuisine.

Very nice place! You can sit outside here in a large open space the back, where there are campfires and a mi stage. Live music. We saw a really fun band play good cumbia music!

Ceviche was great. Stove in the dining room was really cozy and definitely helped in the desert night. There’s a patio in the back with live music, I preferred the dining room but that’s just me. 😊

Tasty food, a more expensive then the usual “menu” that is offered in some restaurants (entrada + fondo + postre) but worth it! I had the torta de choclo and my friend had the trigotto. Both of them were really nice:)

Came here on a Sunday night in July. Great atmosphere. Good music (two stages on outdoor one indoor). Downsides: even the indoor venue was very cold despite the fire (why leave the door to the street and the door to the outside area, wide open??); and the service - although very pleasant waiters - was very slow. We waited about an hour for our meals. Which is unacceptable. We were not alone (a family with small kids looked positively frazzled!). Is this restaurant a victim of their success?

One of the good restaurants on Caracoles street, with live music every evening. Large space so more chances of finding a place in tourist season. The service is great - they usually speak English too. The food is yummy and the drinks too. They have this huge sharing platter that is perfect for 2 people. A nice vibe in the evenings.

Great food, nice live DJ with local tunes, very friendly service, great atmosphere!

Food was excellent. Nice large outside courtyard. Service could be a bit more attentive. Had to send the kids to get someone's attention (do staff actually get their propina???) Order single Mojitos, not the shared carafe. Trust me ;-)

Great atmosphere and service with outdoor seating, live music and fire-pit. Food was amazing. All 4 of us liked our food, but the Entraña a la Parrilla was the best.

Lovely place and amazing food. Service can improve, drinks came after we finish the food

Some of the dishes were delicious e.g. soup and meat, but the variety of meats for 3+4 ppl had a quite low quality. The waiter forgot several times about our foods and drinks. A friend of mine got a cold dish which wasn't prepared the way they have fixed during the order... Also the 'lightsart' next to the performers were very annoying for us (triggered my migraine). We asked the waiters to please solve the problem, but nothing has happened. Finally we were able to manage a table switch (without the help of the waiters). Listen to me: avoid that place. There are a plety of better restaurants in San Pedro de Atacama.

The restaurant is broken into 3 parts. The first part had a fantastic jazz player . The next is a bar and the 3rd had a singer. All 3 serve food. We had salmon which we were asked if we wanted it cooked rare, medium and well done. We have never been asked that before. We asked for it to be cooked. The chips were like rubber and I asked for my egg to be cooked with no raw bits. The eggs were cooked underneath but transparent on top. The waiter had a serious attitude problem. She was definitely too cool to be working there. Well the dog we met on the way back to our hotel enjoyed it. The rest of the staff were very helpful

We ate in the "salon" part of the restaurant, which has a lovely atmosphere because of the nice decor, but especially because of the great live piano music (on some nights accompanied by a saxophonist as well) which gives it an extra touch. The food is tasty and obviously made with care. Service is friendly and quick. Prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Huge place, super friendly personnel. We came for lunch. Love the Casona sour and the shrimp trigotto! I totally recommend it!

We really liked the seating outside with the live music from the bands on the stage. We found that the service was just too slow for us. We ordered drinks which did not come until about 30 minutes after, despite us asking. The food was also delayed. We had given loads of time as were heading off on a trip in the evening star gazing but ended up being quite rushed. The food was nice though.

Ice cream shop
Babalú is a popular ice cream shop in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. The rich flavors here are unlike anything you'll find at home, and the staff are friendly and will help you decide what to order. There's seating inside or outside, and the Banana Split and Chocolate flavors were both amazing. It can be expensive compared to some other shops in town, but it's definitely worth it!
The ice cream tastes exceptional and most important: it is made with natural ingredients. Each flavor comes through and is just the right amount of sweet. We were very surprised and didn’t expect much since I don’t think that Chileans are known for their ice cream skills. But since I taste ice cream and gelato all over the world I needed to give this place a fair try. The coconut, mint and passion fruit ice cream are the best I have ever tasted. And I’ve been to Italy many times! Hazelnut was still good and natural tasting, but did not compare to gelato places in Florence - still decent though. It is definitely on the pricey side but depending on your budget worth trying :) And the service could’ve been more friendly and welcoming, had the feeling they were a bit uninterested/bored

Different flavors mixed with spices. Interesting ice cream but not sure if I like it. The staff wasn’t generous enough to let customers do sample tasting.

Good place for eating ice cream in San Pedro de Atacama. Only drawback it’s quite expensive even considering the location in a desert town.
Konrad Schmid — Google review
The quintessential place to get icecream in San Pedro! A huge varierty and the attendants always let you try the flavors before choosing one.
Javier Troncoso — Google review
Delicious ice cream with interesting flavours. They use local plants and herbs in a lot of their flavours (such as Rica Rica, carob etc). Highly recommend the Arroz con leche (rice pudding) & banana split. They are very nice in terms of providing multiple sampled. Can't wait to go back and try more flavours
Dana Nezon — Google review
Cool flavours only available in the desert. The cactus (pink) was good, maracuya it’s is sour if you like it, desert flower is nice and floral.

Nice place to have an original (and local) ice cream. Great flavours. Some of them are interesting. The taste is okay. Not incredible but enough for the place :) Price is okay Great attention
Fanny Dewez — Google review
Ice cream is good but we had unfriendly servers each time. The ice cream is exceptionally smooth. Wouldn’t recommend the juices though as they’re frozen fruit blended with water and sugar.

Tasty gelato and perfect for a hot day! I tried the pisco sour and one of their local chocolate flavours and it was super nice :)
Andrea Tate — Google review
Average - I had fruit’s mix and quinoa - good to try but not totally amazed.

The flavours i ordered was azul celio and frambuesca . It was a good and flavourful combination. They did not let to taste more then 3 flavours which was a little sad. Apart from this everything was good. The waffer cone was also tasty. My friend ordered chocolate and caramel
Kiran Yadav — Google review
After trying more flavours I decided to go with maracuya & coconut which were very tasty. Other flavours weren’t that rich in flavour, what gives the place 4*. Scoops are big though and staff very nice!
Simona Palovcikova — Google review
The hygene inside the place is absolutely shocking!! While we were choosing our scoops of ice, we observed two employees, one picking what looked to be lice (?!) from the hair of the colleague sitting down not even 1 metre away from the icecream window. I stared at them for 2 minutes and they continued. Obviously we threw away the cone. I am all for supporting local businesses, but this is a basic requirement
Roxana Hulea — Google review
Just left this dump and was so disgusted I immediately tossed my 2 scoops in the trash. The employees, particularly Guaya, are rude and unhygienic. She ate straight from the freezer immediately after serving us.

Holy hell! This is some great ice cream! As with most of Chile, it can be expensive compared to most of South America but it is worth every penny. The staff are really friendly and will help you make the right decision and there is also seating available inside. The Banana Split and Chocolate flavours were absolutely amazing.
