Huancayo
Huancayo is the capital city of the Junín region, in central Peru. It's linked to the Peruvian capital Lima via the trans-Andean Ferrocarril Central Andino, one of the world's highest train routes. Sculptures in the city's Parque de la Identidad Huanca pay homage to the region's pre-Inca culture. The neoclassical Catedral de Huancayo overlooks native plants in the central Plaza de la Constitución.

You think at first the food is pricey BUT it's worth it! They give you soup and a drink included. The soup was very delicious and a great started. Their juice also tasted amazing and the food was pretty good too. If I ever visit again I am going to stop here for sure!

Wouldn't call it the best restaurant in town but the place is nice and the dishes are somewhat tasty.
It's more atmospheric than it is a place with a " great menu. ".....The pasta's ( eg. fettuccini ) and bistek's are all the same I almost every restaurant here ....not good and you pay 10 soles more at this restaurant.....The Trucha ( trout fish ) is always all boneless and specialties are better than others....I really like the Trucha con Ajo's ( Trout with garlic )......It's a nice place to eat but about half the food on the menu is overpriced for it's flavor
Excellent food, atmosphere and the prices are reasonable - highly recommended. We sat in the area near the bar since we had children and didn't want to disturb anyone in the other more formal, occupied areas. It worked perfectly.

Restaurante Olímpico is an outstanding establishment with a diverse menu and efficient, friendly service. The food offerings are both tasty and varied, spanning a wide range of options. The cleanliness of the entire restaurant, including the kitchen which can be observed from the dining area, is commendable. It is conveniently located in the city center, although it may get noisy at times. Despite this, the overall ambiance remains cozy.
I had my first ceviche de trucha there and it was delicious! They also let me try a special pisco based brandy they have! Super attentative service and overall a great restaurant - since 1941! muchas gracias!!!

Nice place for a lunch. The food is really good and they has a great variety of dishes. Although the place is a bit loud because it's in the centre of the city, the place is cozy. Most of dishes are in the range of 7 to 15 American dollars or 28 to 60 Peruvian Soles. Good restaurant.
I have lived in Peru for 13 years, but this is by far the worst food I had ever had in Peru. My Peruvian GF also says the food was awful. We both had different dishes, but after the first bite, we could not eat anymore. Look someplace else. Can't believe that this place has a 4.2 rating.
Returned after 54 years, and has gotten better and most important still family owned.
Enjoyed breakfast here. Excellent service. 12-15 soles for a decent breakfast. Family left full and satisfied. Very nice restaurant.

This restaurant is located in the heart of Cajamarca, Peru. The food is great the service is excellent and it's just a wonderful place to go and relax and eat great Peruvian food.

Although some believe that the restaurant was better in the past, it is still regarded as a good place to visit. The food served at La Leña is delicious, although there are no facilities available for changing babies. Additionally, when crowded, the lack of air conditioning can make it uncomfortably hot.

A ver good chicken grill and barbecue restaurant. It is good for a special lunch or dinner with family and friends. Prices are a little expensive compared with other restaurants but never that much expensive. Personally, I consider it was a better place some years ago but still it is a good place.
The food and taste is good, but not impressive. Nice place and location . And after the last renovation there no more salmon. That's bad news .
