La Caleta De La Punta is one of the most popular and highly recommended seafood restaurants in the La Punta district. It offers a variety of delicious dishes, including ceviche and tiraditos that are well-prepared without being spicy. The restaurant's vegetarian mango ceviche was even awarded as the best at the prestigious Mistura food festival. The staff provides excellent service and the owner goes above and beyond to ensure customers have a great experience, even assisting with transportation when needed.
BEST of the BEST - the waiter recommended the dish in the picture and for drink, Morada. It was out of this world delicious.

I came here with a few of my friends a few weeks ago. The owner is a very sweet gentleman who is extremely proud of his dishes, and the food did not disappoint! We had Escabeche de Pescado, Ceviche, and Tiradito de Mango. The portions are large enough to share, and every bite was so delicious that I left licking my fingers. At the end we had some fried bananas with this sweet sauce that put the icing on the top of a great meal. If I could give more stars to this restaurant, I would. A definite MUST GO!
Edwina Chea — Google review
This was a fabulous experience. Everything from the food to the service was excellent and fresh. If you're ever in the area of La Punta Callao, I would highly recommend trying out this family owned establishment.

This restaurant is one of the best. Their service is top notch and the prices are not expensive. Most of the dishes here are for 2 people so the quantity is more with great taste.

If you are looking good peruvian seafood plus new flavors, this place is the best to try it. We try ceviche mixto especial, they put around some fruits like mango and pineapple, I mixted ceviche with those fruits and I can say it tasted fresh and delicious. Also we try merlin fish with mango sauce, it was a totally tasty new flavor. The service was very kind and attentive all the time. The prices are not too expensive but it worth it, a plate can be shared for two persons, its size is generous. The best thing, it is a pet friendly. I definitely come back.

Great experience. Peruvian style food with a signature touch. Go for the bandejas and leche de tigre. The owner is a great guy and the service is excellent

Delicious food, generous portions, and very close to the ocean!

The ceviche was absolutely amazing! The staff is genuine, lovely and truly cared about us during the whole time. The owner even helped me by calling a local cab since there were no Ubers around. Gracias!

Such amazing food! The owner was so nice and the atmosphere is so awesome! I definitely recommend coming here to try some amazing local dishes!

OMG!!.. what a great place to eat... my family and I went here as we have read a lot of excellent recommendations of the place , but it went over any expectations, the food was amazing. The mango cebiche is a most in here, as any other dish, the staff was incredible, ELIO was our waiter and he went above and beyond. Eating here was one of the highlights of coming to the Punta in Lima, Peru. Prices are reasonable for the food quality you are getting. Without any doubt 5/5 stars.
Adolfo Martinez — Google review
This was our first Peruvian ceviche stop and it didn't disappoint. Our server was super knowledgeable and friendly, gave us some awesome recommendations (like trying the chica morada) and the mussels with onion & tomato. The ceviche was so flavorful. You just have to try it! Definitely will come back :)
Tea Mihaila — Google review
The seafood was amazing! Each plate is a large portion and enough for two.
Rich Ludwig — Google review
OMG! Bold, sweet, fresh, just amazing flavors! Some of the best seafood dishes in Callao, Peru. The combination of fruits and seafood with the tangy spicy sauces is just an explosion of flavor in your mouth. Best tiradito dish.
Lis Q — Google review
Must try seafood. Unique combination of seafood and fruits. Very tasty good service
Jack Russo — Google review
Such a cool way to start our Peru adventure! The food was super good and the service was amazing! Super close to the ocean and the atmosphere is so awesome!
Mckel Amberly — Google review
Went with the two recommended options (Tricolor tiradito and Causa), supposedly award-winning dishes. Word is, it's Gastón Acurio's favorite seafood spot in Lima (aside from La Mar, I guess). Anyways, it was excellent – very fresh, with a notable wait time (1hr) on weekends. The Olivo was fantastic, outshining the others. I'd love to return and explore more options. This place, in my opinion, beats El Mirador – it's more affordable, with larger portions. You can't go wrong; just be ready to wait!

The quality versus price ratio is satisfactory at Donde Yolo, a highly recommended Peruvian restaurant in La Punta. The dishes are generously portioned and served with efficiency, garnering praise for their rapid and attentive service. While it lacks its own parking area, finding a spot may require some exploration in the surrounding vicinity, potentially supervised by municipal personnel.
(Translated by Google) Quality vs price is adequate. A very good place to eat if you go to La Punta, the dishes are well served. The attention is fast and good. It does not have its own parking lot, so if you go by car it is likely that you will drive around a few times to find a place in a more remote place, that is if there are personnel from the municipality of La Punta taking care of it.

(Translated by Google) We returned after a few months, and we saw the following: The very high ticket versus quality. La Parihuela was not defined as such or was a sudado without the presence of average fish fillet or in pieces, the ceviche A lo Yolo, excess of onion, octopus and squid. The mixed jelly adding more fish would be ideal according to the price. The chili tiradito is very good as is the passion fruit. The attention takes time but is attentive. The view facing the sea is attractive to enter the premises. Parking surroundings. Estacionamiento alrededores.

(Translated by Google) I invited my parents to spend a family day and we decided to eat at this restaurant. Bad decision. The lousy service and the quality of the food does not deserve the price it costs. The fish ceviche, without any taste and it seemed that they had added lemon with water; the cause of bad crab meat, obviously we sent it back. Nothing to rescue from this restaurant. El Mirador is a popular seafood restaurant located in the La Punta district, known for its excellent food, efficient service, and spectacular views. The bright and clean decor allows the focus to be on the delicious traditional Peruvian seafood and the stunning vistas. Visitors highly recommend trying the ceviche with the catch of the day while enjoying refreshing drinks like pisco sours or chicha morada.
Very nice place to view the Pacific shore. It is a second floor place giving it a great view. The waitress we had was great even with our language barrier.

Reasonable price, fast attention but terrible tasting and quality food. We ordered the three types of Causa they offer and couldn’t finish because of the bad taste, the ceviche wasn’t good, arroz con mariscos, Filete de pescado en salsa de mariscos, leche de Tigre, chicharrón de pescado everything was mediocre at best! The only thing that was ok was the kids menu (fish fingers). Save your time (long trip to La Punta with heavy traffic and the poorest and ugliest neighborhoods of San Miguel and Callao) and go to La Mar or Pescados Capitales. We spent almost the same at La Mar and the food was amazing and top quality.

Came for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered the ceviche with the catch of the day. Hands down my favorite restaurant we’ve tried during our two week trip visiting family in Callao. Service was excellent and food came out quick. We loved the chicha morada and maracuya, as well. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful.

Horrible experience. Inedible undercooked corn, bad tasting fish in my Ceviche, the Lomo saltado was nothing to write home about and how do you screw up simple grilled chicken breast so badly? I ordered grilled chicken for my son and it had a very strange aftertaste. The prices were high as if it were a first rate restaurant but the food was DEFINITELY not first rate. I do not recommend at all. To top it all off my wife went to the restroom and they had poured BLEACH on the counter. She leaned in to wash her hands and her blouse ruined. They apologized but didnt even attempt to make it up to us. No discount, nothing. Im never going back.

Excellent food, efficient service, and spectacular views in this nicely maintained corner of La Punta Callao. Bright, clean, simple decor allows the food and the views to be the star attractions. I highly recommend El Mirador to anyone who wants to know traditional Peruvian seafood at its best. Our group of four (Peruvians and Americans) shared an appetizer platter, a selection of causas, and a trio of tiraditoes. It made a generous meal that delighted all of us. The pisco sours were excellent too.

This place did not live up to the hype. The view, atmosphere and staff were amazing. The food was reasonably priced but we were not impressed with the quality. We had 5 dishes. The kids menu items were just ok. The ceviche was a disappointment. We were hoping for some amazing ceviche given its proximity to the shore :).

I really love this place, good food, great service and amazing view! It is usually crowded on summer so you better go early, make a reservation or wait a few because it deserves it.

During peak hours, Tanta - Aeropuerto can be quite bustling, but it's a must-visit eatery at the airport if you have some time to spare between flights. The cuisine is exceptional and widely regarded as one of the finest in Peru, making it especially convenient to have such a restaurant within the airport premises. To truly experience Peruvian flavors, sampling various dishes from their menu is highly recommended.
Great atmosphere, great service, and best of all it’s open 24/7. Extensive menu with really good traditional Peruvian options. I ordered the chicken something sandwich with home fries, and a chirimoya smoothie. Only recommendation I can make, is to not order any smoothies that have bananas in it as it will overpower the other fruits lol.
Harumi — Google review
Passion fruit cheese cake is smooth and not too sweet. I tried a dish Lomo saltado it was too salty. Also 5 pieces of beef (not even good parts of steak with rice and fries and green onion and cilantro- 58 sols That’s ridiculous. 16 sols for a glass of juice and the taste of fruit is very light.
Silvia X — Google review
Really good breakfast. Tanta makes a tastier chicharrone sandwich than La Lucha Sangucheria in my opinion. Juicy chicharrone and a much larger sandwich. Highly recommended.

This place the perfect stop between flights. The food was delicious and so was my fruit juice. They have a wide selection of choices. They also have desserts. They are pricy but I think they are worth it.

Everything we ordered was so good and has been our best meal so far in Peru. Who would’ve thought our best meal would be at the airport? The service was fast and we got to finish our meal just in time before our flight to Cusco. Tanta really does have one of the best Lomo Saltado in Peru and I love that they have a restaurant at the airport in case you missed it in Lima. It’s so good that we may eat there again on our way back to the states. Literally everything was delicious. Do not skip out on this place when in Peru! Photo by Gia

Great smoothie (we got the cherimoya one), coffee, and eggs! Kind service who spoke English. Cramped seating but what do you expect at an airport.
Jason Xiahou — Google review
It gets very busy at lunch time but it's a must at the airport if you have a bit of time in between flights ✈️✈️ The food is amazing, it's one of the best restaurants around Peru and it's great that there is one in the airport. You need to try different plates from there to get the taste from Peru. The waiter was also very accommodating in putting together the lomo saltado with huancaína pasta, even if it wasn't on the menu. 🥰 The only thing we didn't like was how slow the service was, it even felt like they forgot about us after we had our meals, it was a bit hard to grab someone's attention to pay the bill. Also to consider, it's a bit more pricey as it's airport prices 💰 One great thing, is if you don't finish your plate, ask to take it away..you can always have it in the plane later 😬😬
Lorena Duranthon — Google review
The service is super slow. They charged wrong order. They charged us 3 deserts even though we ordered 2, but gave 2 deserts. And then forgot the sandwich we ordered! It took forever to get the order. And then when I said that I don’t have my sandwich they were trying to explain to me that I am confused. And then they made us pay the difference between the third desert they charged us for no reason and my sandwich! Food was great, but attitude was very bad.
Ирина Титкова — Google review
Best option to eat at the airport! I sat by the window and you can see all travelers checking in, it was very amusing :) I had the best Lomo Saltado I ever had here. All our food was great and the service excellent. I had an excellent Turron de Doña Pepa for dessert. The next day I ordered a Butifarra sandwich which was not my favorite.

Good place for an airport But I find all dishes here are very heavy and definitely you can find better Peruvian food
Dario Kalmus — Google review
This might be my first 5 star review, when you walk in you seat yourself and one of the many very kind waiters will come over and give you a menu, I only had breakfast, so this is my review of the food we did get. Everything was very fresh, I originally I thought that they would just give you some random juice box with artificial juice, but instead it tastes like they have an orange tree in the back that they squeeze to give you 100% only orange juice, oh and I forgot to mention, when you order a full breakfast you get a huge glass of juice a nice hot coffee, and of course a huge sandwich, eggs, etc. It was very cheap and very good. If you are ever at this airport this place is a MUST GO!!!

What a nice surprise to find such a nice breakfast at an airport. The tostadas rotos with egg, avocado and tomatoes was great! Really tasty and healthy. Recommended!

Paprika Restaurante Lima is a great place to eat in Lima. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever had.

Very simple breakfast buffet. Not many options. I didn’t have lunch or dinner here. Just wanted to say that the staff working the mornings of 3/28 & 3/29 were very great, unlike the hotel staff.
