Restaurant
Era Coquela is a spacious restaurant known for its exceptional customer service and delectable cuisine. The lunch set menu offered an attractive array of dishes. The appetizer featured a salad complemented with goat's cheese, which although simple, lacked the variety of ingredients found in similar salads elsewhere. The main course consisted of mouthwatering stewed meat accompanied by a flavorful sauce; yet, it too seemed to be missing that special touch to elevate its appeal.
One of the best lunch menus in Vielha in a cosy setting. Great service and wine too

We arrived late..ish towards the end of lunch service and they were very accommodating. Menú del dia was gorgeous and great value - hard to select - I could have eaten everything! Perfect menu for a cold ski resort. Will be returning on next visit.
Heather Shuker — Google review
This is a very spacious restaurant with excellent customer service and good food. The set menu I had for lunch was appealing. My starters was a salad with goat's cheese. It was nice, although quite plain. I've had this type of salad in other places and I've enjoyed it more when there's a wider selection of ingredients. The main was also nice. It was stewed meat that came with a tasty sauce. I would describe this in much the same way as the previous dish as it felt like it was lacking something to make it more interesting. Finally, the cheesecake for dessert was delicious. I would certainly come back here again, it's a very good restaurant. What they do here, they do well. However, the food didn't really make a lasting impression on me.

Great service. Great food great prices. Menus are totally recommended.

There are many things to talk about but I’ll mention the main topics: Food - The food was delicious! From the tasty starters to the creamy and crunchy desserts. Cleaning - Everything was spick and span… even the bathrooms! We could see that they really took care of their restaurant! Room Environment - The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful and relaxing. There was plenty of people, but the tables were spread around the rooms not too next to each other neither too far away. The restaurant was situated next to a public area with nice views of the sky scraping Pyrenees. The restaurant blended in well with the rest of the village, giving it the rural touch.

Very good quality. For a price that was very low considering the high dining experience. We really enjoyed the diner and the service.

What an incredible dinner we had here! We were a big group but the staff was incredibly accommodating and patient to take our orders. The food did not disappoint, everything was delicious and we were able to try traditional and regional dishes. Loved the desserts they felt fresh and unique. Thanks to all of the Era Coquela team.

A lovely restaurant with great food, an amazing deal of 3 courses and a bottle of local wine in a great price! The food was delicious (except the cream brûlé which was a bit off...) and the waiter was so nice and welcoming! Highly recommend.

Hotel Vielha Baqueira, affiliated with Meliá, is a tranquil establishment that offers stunning vistas of the mountains and delectable dining options. Additionally, guests can make use of the fitness center and spa, complete with an indoor pool. Situated in the heart of Vielha and surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes including lakes and parks, this hotel provides numerous recreational activities all year round. The friendly and attentive staff ensures a pleasant stay while the breakfast offerings are truly remarkable.
The hotel is pretty good, a little bit outdated but the staff makes up for all the minuses. Especially the staff from the dining area/restaurant starting with Fabian and allt he way to the meat guy behind the grill plate. Also the cleaning personnel does an an amazing job taking into consideration that there are duplex apartments. The personnel is golden and keeping the stars of the hotel.

They treat you like a foll. No recommend. The room are full of beds. We are two adults and a two years old baby. Towels are Not clean. It' too much light and noisy in the night. Disaster decision to live here. Never come back

I enjoyed my stay! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast!

I was happy with the hotel and its service. German on reception was really helpful with hiking recommendations. The breakfast didn't live up to expectations however. It was poor for a hotel of this category.
Enda Murphy — Google review
The hotel is located near the center of the city with a walking distance to restaurants, stores and even a large supermarket. There is a parking space next to the hotel (not an official garage). Since we visited out of the high season, we had no problem finding a space. Regarding the employees, some are very kind and some aren't. The air-conditioner in our room wasn't really effective. Breakfast was mediocre. Another issue is that they advertise themselves as a hotel with an indoor pool, but you actually have to pay to enter the pool (12 euro per adult and 6 euro per child), this is misleading.

We stayed here for just 1 night with friends. Staff very friendly, the hotel was clean and rooms comfortable. The breakfast was good with ample choice. Thank you we will be back

We have recently spent three nights in the Vielha Baqueira hotel - before starting the Tour del Aneto track, after finishing it, and after having completed a few stages of the Setau Sageth. This hotel is an outstanding place to recover after a hike and prepare for the next day. Location: at the heart of Vielha, with all stores and restaurants, a laundry self-service and a supermarket, bus stops Inna walking distance. Can’t be better. Rooms: Not most recently renovated, but super tidy, with everything functional and in order. As for the mountain views- you come to the mountains not to look at them from a hotel‘s window, right? Service: Very friendly, helpful, ready to accommodate our extra wishes (like storing our suitcase for 10 days while we were hiking). The picnics prepared for us in the morning were very generous and hearty- great boost of energy on the trail. Finally, the cordiality of the personnel is unforgettable! Three times we checked in, and three times we were warmly welcomed. (Laia at the reception has even recalled our names and picnic preferences! Her friendly and supportive attitude was so much needed when we arrive miserably wet and frozen after one of the tracks. Thank you, Laia!!) All in all, I can only strongly recommend this simple, welcoming hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there and appreciate the service we received.

Great staff & location. Gym & Pool is a 7.5 euro charge .. each . Why is this not stated on site ? Parking is a public lot across street, if you want secured parking, yes that’s right another hidden charge.. 5 euros. There are no view rooms technically, a peek a boo view of mountains is what we got . Terribly disappointed….

Lovely hotel, bar staff very friendly, bar snacks Inc burgers and club sandwiches amazing, WARNING if you use the pool you will be charged €12 per person, per visit, at no point during our stay were we told this, it was only on checking out we were handed the bill😡

A "must" in Vielha!! A great view!! The spa is definitely, a must-visit. Friendly staff and a very clean room. A bit overpriced compared to other options in the area but it is worth every €€€

A magical place to stay. We chose to come for Christmas and enjoy a cold snowy holiday. We did not have much snow but the Parador was fantastic. Great environment, wonderful views and delicious food all surrounded by amazing people and service.

Rooms were old and outdated. My wife said they look like an old orphanage. The service is so so. The cleaning ladies do amazing work but the front desk staff could be nicer. The Location is way too far from baqueria and about 5 minute driving from veilha.

Huge hotel, breakfast is fabulous. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms feel like a renovation could be considered. Creaking floors. The shower is very nice. Lots of storage, great view from the balcony. Good service.

Excellent location, rooms and equipment. However the friendliness of the staff, their good humour and smile is what I’ll always remember from this stay. Thank you so much again for the wheelchair 🎿🦿😉🙏.

As part of our recent holiday in Spain we spent one night in the Parador in Vielha. The impression was that it is more a winter holiday hotel – for the skiing, and we were there in September, so it was probably quieter than during the peak periods, but all facilities were available. The hotel is situated about 1km outside the town, in the middle of a hairpin bend on the road to Lleida. Others have commented about noise from trucks using the road, but we were unaware of any, and we slept well. Views from the hotel are amazing. The room was a good size (we had a junior suite), well equipped with tea-making equipment, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean and again well stocked with toiletries. We ate in the restaurant, there are no other possibilities to wall to, although probably a walk into town would not have been a problem, but the steep hill back certainly would have been, not to mention dangerous. The food was good, well served and not too expensive. In fact, in line with most Paradors, it is the staff that were one of the best features and this was certainly the case here, without exception they were polite, helpful and friendly, which contributed to the excellent stay we experienced. Downsides? Probably only one small point. Although there is an outside pool, it is not heated, but the hotel does have a small heated indoor pool for which they charge 24€. A bit over the top!

A beautiful location, great hotel in El val de Aran. The dining room has an amazing panoramic view of the mountains around. Food is delicious and varied. Breakfast is a big buffet with plenty of cold and warm options. Very kind and helpful staff. If you plan on biking, there's a special place to store your precious bike, or you can always store it in the bedroom. The spa experience is very nice. Also available are a gym and a couple leisure rooms to play billiards and other games.
Marco Garcia van Bijsterveld — Google review
We love staying at Parador properties and plan our trips based upon their location. We have never been disappointed. The drive to get to Vielha via Barcelona and Andorra was one of the most beautiful drives we have ever experienced. We arrived to an attentive reception desk and beautiful rooms with a breathtaking view. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and clean, and the linens are high end. We could just sit on our balcony all day and take in the view! We had a lovely dinner at the main restaurant upon arrival and the service was appreciated. Sad we are only staying two nights here, but another Parador is calling us on this road trip.

Terrible attitude from staff. Pool area was overgrown. Pool had algae around the side. Hotel restaurant was expensive and food average. Doesn't say in the facilities list that spa area was an additional charge but it does say that billiards are. We stay in approximately 15 different hotels every year and this was extremely disappointing. This hotel has delusions of grandeur.

Parador de Vielha is a very good option if you decide to visit Vielha. The views from the Parador are very good of Vielha and the valley where Vielha is located. The attention received from the staff from the moment of check in was very good. Same for the attention received in the restaurant. The rooms are good in size, quality of materials and the beds are comfortable.

Overall, the hotel estate and rooms are good: great location, nice view, and complete facilities. However, the hotel staff and services level is VERY WELL BELOW 4 stars hotel standards. Please read details of highlighted experience during our stay Arrival day At point of arrival - we are not even sure when we arrived that we are the the front desk. There are not one help with luggage and the counter of reception is so high that I cannot even notice the front person. At a check-in - we tried to ask for information about how to get to ski lift and maps. The hotel has no town map and not clear answer on where to go for ski: how to park, how to get rental equipment, etc. 2nd day Breakfast - staff are very helpful and nice, but everything seem very rush. Not sure we can improve with more number of Staff during peak hours Came back to the room - we arrived back at the room, but the room has not clean up. The staff just make a bed and do nothing else. Spa services - the hotel has sauna, stream, and hot tub services. Very nice idea after a long ski day. Therefore, we have booked the slot on 3rd Jan at 6pm. We went to ski, leave the slope around 5, and back to hotel a little later than we expected (6.20). We rush to make to our appointment and spa staff called us. Not speaking English very well, I only catch one sentence , “there is a problem”. I said, “I will go down to the spa to talk to you”. I went down, and staff tried to explain in very bad tone. Here was the key ideas I caught catch… - You are late and it is not possible to let you in - I have called you but you have not picked up (we later found out that she called only on the room phone where we are not here) - My director is very forceful person ?? - There are no one else on site to help me make better offers Again appointment we made was a sauna and hot tub slot with unlimited time. And it was not apparent to us why the slot just gone when we are late. We are not every happy about this and seek for help, so we went up to front desk to ask. We started to explain the situation. The front desk just said, “I can’t help you, and it is up to the spa to make decision. If she said she cannot, it is not possible.” We pushed, “is there someone I can talked to.” Front desk, “no” The front tried to called the spa, and no one picked up. About 5 mins later the spa lady come. And the first word came out was, “what is the problem.” with some very bad tone. We ended up did not have the spa services with very bad mood and impression. Again, this comment is for the expectation of 4 stars hotel. I hope this helps.

Great service and vibe, super cozy place and love that it’s a properly family run restaurant. Food in general was lovely, like an elevated home cooked meal with great flavor profile. There were some misses here and there but overall it was great - the only thing that was not okay was that I got my dessert, and ate it (it had ice cream so would’ve melted by the time the other one came) before my partner got his. That is unacceptable. A super nice touch was that the owner came up and spoke to everyone later in the evening, and he was just as awesome as the rest of the family!
