The newly built Bangladesh first underwater tunnel entry gate is just adjacent to the beach. Person who wants to enjoy the scenery must have avoid weekends, holidays or afternoon period.

I liked this place a lot so did my boy. A very good sea side and well organized with car parking and also sitting arrangements. Easy to reach. Very good scenic as well with hundreds of ships anchored. The only thing that really hurt was the dirts, lots of packets and empty cans made the place dirty, the authority must clean the place atleast 2 times a day.

Just today visited Patnega Sea beach and it’s really amazing indeed. Although sometimes during weekends (Friday & Saturday) the area is pretty busy. And here near the beach you can the bangabandhu tunnel as well. Totally an amazing place to visit. Although be careful of your own a bit since here sometimes you may face problem and as usual like a tourist place here everything price is high. So always do bargaining before buying anything.

My personal opinion is this place lost a bit of it's natural beauty after the construction work. Now it feels more like a river rather than a sea beach. Nonetheless still a beautiful place to visit.

Visited in April 2022. The Ethnological Museum of Chittagong is the only ethnological museum in Bangladesh. It contains displays featuring the history of Bangladesh's tribal people. The museum was established in 1965 and opened to the public in 1974. Two rooms were added to the museum during 1985-1995. In 1996, a gallery with folk articles of Bengali-speaking people was added.

This Museum is full with important resources from all over Bangladesh. I liked the way they keep the culture of monipuri, khasia,hajong,marma and so on. As a sylheth i would like to share that they have to keep some more Cultural activities of Sylhet.

Loved the place . Most underrated museum in bangladesh from my point of view. Its second big ethological museum in the world. The big one located in japan. In this museum you will be able to see all types of ethnic group particularly in south asia portion. However you will not be able to see their life movement but also the dress and ornaments uses. It will certainly make you more knowledgeable when you see this type of collections. Most informative museum i think. You must visit this place at once you come to CTG.

It is a must visit for all. Specially for children. By visiting the museum one can know about diffent tribal of bangladesh and other countries and thier livelihood. The environment of the museam is good. And it situated is main town of chittagong. The museum is big enough, thay have 4 gallery. You can cover the whole museum with 2 hour.

By the time we got to the museum, there were probably load shedding going on. Most of the rooms inside were covered with dim light. Most of the items on display were dirty and covered in dust. It looked as if no one had cleaned them for a long time. Authorities should be more vigilant in improving the quality of this archive that preserves valuable information about the ethnic history of Bangladesh and It's various tribal communities. Besides, the general visitors also need to be aware of protecting the environment of the museum. I can't hell mentioning tge fact that I felt a bit awkward and almost embarrassed to see some young couple entering the museum for the purpose of dating that occured in front of our eyes and made the environment embarrassing to walk around. 🙄😅 The ticket price is only 20৳ The museum is open from 2-5 pm everyday except govt holidays and weekends.

Though it was a hot day, we felt a pleasant peace while visiting there. The entire wind was soothing. Basically its a monument of World war ii. In between 1939-1945; some of the martyrs of British, Indian, East Pakistan, West Pakistan were mass graved there. Though it has a sorrowful story, it is a great historical place to visit.

The environment here is very beautiful, pleasant and clean. No ticket is required for entry. But the inner part of the grave cannot be entered. Only the front can be accessed. The map says it is open from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. But in reality, most of the time the gate closes at 10:00 am. It opens again at 3:00 PM and closes at 5:00 PM.

Commonwealth War Cemetery Chittagong is a monument of Commonwealth War Graves Commission commonly known as Chittagong War Cemetery. The Commonwealth War Cemetery is located at No. 19 Badsha Mia Road, Dampara area of Chittagong. The Chittagong War Cemetery was established by the British Army after World War II. During the war, the Allies established a camp of the 14th Army in Chittagong during the Second World War due to the facilities of the 152nd British General Hospital and the training of the army. The hospital was active from December 1944 to October 1945. At that time many soldiers were sent home after recovering from injuries in this camp. And after the end of World War II, a group of British Army established this mausoleum in honor of those who were defeated in the war of life. Initially, around 400 bodies could be buried in this cemetery under the supervision of the army. Also after the end of the war additional dead bodies were shifted from Lusai, Dhaka, Khulna, Jessore, Cox's Bazar, Dhawa Palang, Dohazari, Rangamati, Patia and other temporary burial grounds to this cemetery. However, there are currently 731 tombs out of which 17 have not been identified. There are about 20 graves of national foreign soldiers (Dutch and Japanese soldiers) who died in World War II. Citizens include 378 from the UK, 25 from Canada, 9 from Australia, 2 from New Zealand, 214 from undivided India (Bangladesh, India and Pakistan), 11 from East Africa, 90 from West Africa, 2 from Burma, 1 from the Netherlands and 19 from Japan. John According to profession, there are 543 soldiers, 194 airmen and 14 sailors in this cemetery. In addition to the war graves, there are 4 civilian graves in the cemetery. Besides, there is a memorial Vidyaman of Chittagong-Bombay of Second World War (1939-1945). Built in the first half of the fifties, the cemetery has an open field outside. Access is open for visitors daily from 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 5 pm, which varies slightly during winter and fasting periods. Description: This mausoleum is built on a hilly road in the southwest corner of the Chittagong Medical College. The atmosphere of the entire tomb area is simultaneously picturesque, solemn and serene. A short walk from the main gate of the war cemetery entrance, two small red brick churches and metal gates are visible. A memorial chest is placed in the church on the right hand side. During the Second World War, about 6500 sailors and soldiers died in the Indian merchant sea whose bodies have never been found. Their names and titles are preserved in this memorial book. In the church on the left hand side is the cemetery register, which contains the names, designations and brief introductions of the buried servicemen. From the gate, a magnificent cross-marked altar can be seen in the center of the burial ground. After that there is a prayer room to the east. Outside the War Cemetery are open fields and beautiful gardens. There are 40 species of trees in this cemetery in a beautiful natural environment. There are cedar, gourd, mahogany, eucalyptus, palm trees. Besides, hundreds of local and foreign flowers and plants including gandharaj, beli, patabahar, lenthana, rose, letterleaf have created an extraordinary heavenly charm in the tomb. Rows of carefully preserved graves can be seen in the cemetery. The names of the martyrs are written on each grave. In the afternoon, many tourists come to see the tomb standing at the foot of the hill. Inspection Information: Chittagong War Cemetery is open daily from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The Foy’s Lake of Chittagong is a reservoir and tourist destination for nature lovers! They are mostly known for their outdoor recreation & different rides, lake, and resort. They have good ambiance and well behaved staffs. Their price is also reasonable. They have few restaurants and cafe inside their boundary. They have parking or wheelchair access.

A good place to visit with family or friends. Especially kids will love this park. Inside the park there are various rides for kids and adults. The ticket price of the ride is given in the picture. Apart from the pictures, there are some other rides. Kayaking is available in the lake. Can go on a boat trip with the family. There are also boat trips to SeaWorld. The surrounding environment is quite good. No outside food can be taken inside. But the price of the food inside seemed high to me. Base camp is available. There are also resorts if you want to stay inside the park. Overall, good as an amusement park in Chittagong city. But everything costs a little more.

After all the good talks i hear from people all over my friend list. This was a must visit place for me if i were ever to go to Chittagong. And this was the first restaurant i visited upon my ctg visit. I loved the atmosphere, its cozy and well crowded. But the place felt a little bit claustrophobic to me. Although i don't have claustrophobia. I liked the sitting space beside the window. Other than that, there are all sorts of interior design and paintings and wall art that i actually loved. Tried thei virgin mojito. Absolutely loved it. Just what i needed to chill in heat.

The food and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. it's right dead centre of the city and you can easily find taxis and other transports easily. The staff and the food are amazing. It's a bit expensive for avg customers but then again, why not treat yourself every once in a while 😉

We visited this place on 24 October at 9:00pm It was unexpected service! We have ordered foods and it’s came after long time and they brought our drinks when we almost finished eating! It's one of the good place to have food. All of the items are very good, i always go there for pizza sandwich, brownies, and falooda.

Pizza was great! Jacket potato is a big no no. Pasta is good but quantity is way less comparatively. Chai latte and other drinks are quite reasonable and tastes great.

I recently had Iftar with my friends at Café Milano, and it was the worst experience ever. The service was extremely disappointing as they started serving food after Iftar time, causing us to break our fast late. Additionally, despite making a reservation a day before, there were issues with the seating arrangement for our group event. This lack of punctuality and organization significantly impacted our dining experience negatively. The delay in serving food beyond Iftar time is unacceptable during Ramadan, especially when customers are observing fasts. Furthermore, the mismanagement of reservations reflects poorly on the restaurant's professionalism and customer service. Overall, the combination of delayed service and seating problems made our visit to Café Milano highly unsatisfactory.

Their Food is Superb! Everybody knows that. And the way they Serve the Food looks spectacular. I like the new place where they just moved in. It's classy and pretty good for Friends hangout and Dates as well. Family time shouldn’t also be a problem here. But for Official meetings this might not be the place you want to be. They got variety of foods! I tried one dish that I must refer to others! 1 fried rice + bbq chicken wings(comes in 6pcs)+ garlic sauce+ periperi sauce. The sauces are additional. This feels heaven man!! You gotta try!

Very nice and cozy environment. Tried Nachos, Latte and Blueberry Shake was really yummy. One of the best nachos I tried in Chittagong. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again to try their rice meals and pizzas.

I recently dined at Cafe Milano, and I must say, the food and service were exceptional. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring a delightful dining experience.

This restaurant came up in Chittagong with different concepts. This place is promoting Chittagong local culture. Their interior reflects this very properly. Their food taste is also good. You will get mainly Chittagong’s traditional food here. Their behavior is also very polite

This restaurant was different decorations and different vibe. We had lunch over there. But to be honest the food was not up to the mark. They served with care but still the taste is not that up to mark also they were too late. This restaurant also collaborates with Bar code cafe.

Food quality is fairly good. The price is relatively quite high. The lighting system was quite nice. But the outdoor dining area needed to be tidied up a bit. The floor was very dirty and old levelled floor. Moreover, the food service was very good. The behaviour of the staff was also sincere. We had some leftover food, and we parcelled it up, I liked their parcel system a lot. Food was provided in a good quality bowl. All in all, I like the experience here.

Service wasn’t up to the mark!!! The waiter gave us wrong information regarding a dish. Moreover, when we asked to relocate us in the inside cabin, at first they agreed but when we went there, they changed their mind. We were told that it was reserved. I had a feeling that they changed their mind because we were only 5 in number and they had to run an air-conditioner for just 5 people (seating arrangement were for 20). Could be wrong but left a bad impression on me. Food was OKAY.

Pretty nice place to have the restaurant at. Loved as the place was wheelchair-friendly, and has decent accessibility (although it can be improved, still something which we struggle to find in many places). The decoration was nice, and the foods were pretty good too. Recommended.

A place where you will feel calm and content. More than the food I liked the overall ambiance of the place. Very cozy and artsy. They also had a tiny store with interesting Chittagong-inspired souvenirs. Tried almost all their food items, especially their Bangla food worth the hype. Seating capacity and outdoor seating arrangements are also great. The food price is a little bit high but the overall experience is good.

Bir Chattala, Also Known As Jamal Khan. A place in Chittagong City. Is one of the beautiful roadside place in Chottogram. The road here is very clean, there are benches to sit and gossip. Aquariums beside the roads is a great attraction. The fountain in the road circle is beautiful. The place is a Junction of three roads, One comes from "Kazir Deuri", One from " Andor Killa", and another one from "Chwakbazar)

The Best thing that happened to me is to have Bengali food in an aesthetic atmosphere is BIR Chattala! I have completely fallen in love with this food and environment and the interior decoration! It's really beautiful and cheap. I highly recommend trying food here! You won't regret it 😁!

Trust me having bela biscuit is must when you’re in Chattogram. The warm cup of milk tea will vanish away all your stress in just few sips. The strong liquor does the work. It was a nice place to visit, an aesthetic place with Bangla food. Also gives the vive of 90s. The price range is medium. Bir chattala is a must visit if you are new to Chittagong. Totally innovative from its gate to kitchen. Located in a old building near kazir deuri and renovated the house so nicely that you will be glad while you are taking food with your fnf. 4 rooms are there with long corridor and open veranda and all of them are differently decorated with bengali culture. Beside that the food is tasty compare to its price. Cleanliness is available every where. The paints of the walls will attack you somehow to a old days memory

Today I went to Bir Chattala for lunch, the very hyped place in Chittagong. I absolutely loved their interior as it is very colourful and aesthetically pleasing. A picture perfect place I would say. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining. But what really disappointed me was their service and food. They are too slow and careless. I asked for coral fish platter they gave me chicken platter instead. I didn't make an issue because we were very hungry since we were traveling the whole day. The food taste was below average. Also I had to ask for water 5 times! The staffs really pissed me off! However, their chaa and bela biscuit is a must try. I might go again just to have the tea!

Very poor quality restaurant compared to Bir Chattala or Barcode Junction. The taste of the food is average, the service quality of the staff is very bad, the atmosphere is not very touchy. This restaurant was originally opened by targeting foreign students of Asian University for Women. But I am a fan of Barcode, so I would say upgrade this restaurant.

What a place for food in Chattogram city! 🍗🍔🌭🍮 In particular, one of the best places in Chittagong for evening meals with friends & family. Also this place is very fun for kids. It is located in Mehedibagh, Chittagong, just before the CDA Mosque, opposite the Hashtag Restaurant. Great atmosphere and light music will increase your appetite. The hospitality was excellent. The behavior of the waiters was top notch. The food quality was also good, hot and delicious. And don't forget to try the DOI-FUCHKA (110 bdt per plate) here! 😋

Though it's call Burgwich Town, It's famous for its Fuchka Platter. The fuchka Platter is 300tk. Four people can easily enjoy it. We also had Doi Fuchka which was really good. I'll recommend to eat Doi Fuchka instantly otherwise it will get soaked. The Platter was fun to eat. It's a great place to go with your family, if you like fuchka. If it's not too hot, try to sit in 2nd floor you gonna live the atmosphere at evening 🌆.

Good place good environment. Their fuchka platter is the best!

Pretty ordinary food served in an average restaurant ambience. Cleanliness and hygiene level need serious attention as well. We ordered Jhal Fuchka, which was OK. Ordered one masala dosa and one chicken masala dosa. I cannot rate the dosas more than 2 out of 5. Dosa was crispy but masala part was terrible, like ordinary road side shingara stuffings and too oily. It was lacking taste and aroma of authentic masala of any kind. Coconut 🥥 chutney was all liquid and very sweet. Sambar was not anywhere close to real South Indian sambar. There were a lot of flies in the restaurant. Fridge and kitchen area in the first floor looked unclean. Water bottles are stored in the dinning space, hand washing area is untidy…….

I guess they serve the best Mezban in town. The price is okay comparing to the quantity. They serve extra gravy which i did not find in any other Mezban restaurant. The environment is a little bit off. The restaurant ambience need a little bit touch up, so that customer can feel it. The taste is 9 out of 10. I literally felt sleepy after eating heavily.

The taste of mejbani beef is not that good. Quantity and quality is not as expected. Chonar dal and nola kanzi is tasteless and watery type. So if you think that you'll get a great experience then I'm sorry to tell you that you won't.

This place offers classic mejbani dishes, and the flavor is satisfactory. I believe their beef akhni is not given enough recognition. The service is average, but there is room for improvement.

Kala bhuna , a item for everyone for try. Chanar dal is good with mezbani host. Jordan bhat looks yummy but tasted average. 'In my opinion better than mejjan aile khaiyun' To so much rush in my time, but staff need to trained more no professionalism but good. What to expect a local restaurant.

Here mejjainna beef is really delicious. I never eat Mejjainna beef, one of my friend, who's origin is Chittagong suggest me to try Mejjainna beef here, and I am not disappointed. For people who didn't tried Mejjainna beef before, can give a try here. I have doubt about if it is real Mejjainna beef, but I have no option! :)

This was my first mejbani tasting. Food was average. Not so good. Beef was normal like other roadside hotel. I disappointed. Chonar Dal was good. But services and atmosphere was very good. Price was little high.
