A beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view directly on the Saint-Cyre Bay. Nice ceviches and fresh sea food.

We arrived at this place with friends quite early, at 1:15 for lunch. The waitress said something akin to 'wait here, I'll see if the chef can be bothered to cook for you'. She came back and said it was fine. But that turned out not to be true. The plat du jour dorade they advertised on their board (that we all wanted) had gone (but the board still advertised it) and the substitute meals were poor, especially my wife's scrag-end, fatty lamb chops. With just a disappointing main course and a small beer or glass of wine each the meal came to €32 each - exactly the same as we had just paid across the border in an agriturismo near Fossana in Italy for delightful meals with 6 course tasting menus and prety unlimited drinks. We really should have walked out of this place when the dorade was announced as unavailable. The only thing they have going for them is a good location right by the sea - and they clearly live on this. I've always thought that seafront restaurants don't have to try so hard and those one street back tend to be so much better. Walk round the harbour then head inland and get a good meal without a view! The restaurant has tried to deny it all so I posted a pic of the credit card debit for that awful meal. We visited, with 2 friends, on 11 October at 1:15pm. Wish we'd gone somewhere else.

Great experience in this restaurant. The view was beautiful. The food fresh and tasty, especially the quality of the sea food. The service was top. We were a group of 8 with children and they were very accommodating.

Amazing spot, right by the Mediterranean Sea in the beautiful small town of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. People are welcoming and warm. The service could be better but when you have views like that, well, you can overlook the lack of professionalism in service.

The most terrible cappuccino I ever tasted. 4 euro per piece and it doesn't taste like coffee at all. Never again for me!! My wife had the same experience.

Good food, great location. Burgers cooked to French style - so they will be 'rare' by other standards. If you like yours "well done", be sure you say you almost want it cremated - because even "well done" is slightly pink. But food is delicious!!!

Nice staff, excellent food, portions were surprisingly large. The setting was incredibly nice.

We have been 3 times so far twice for lunch and once for drinks. Contrary to other reviews I have found the service to be very good. Staff are attentive and want to make sure their guests have a lovely experience. The food is great. We've only had the lunchtime formules so far but quality has been high and its good value compared to the a la carte menu. Overall although this place is a bit pricier than alternatives nearby it's worth it.

The best place to eat in st cyr sur mer. A restaurant that doesn't serve pizza and frozen fish, but real french food we loved it, try the marmite du pecheur, and be careful with the cocktail "pistache" very sweet and soft... but very treacherous...

Good food and place. The service was very nice! Dogs are allowed and they gived us some water for our dog. We took hamburgers and fish dishes and a italian tiramisu. The waiter speaks englisc and italian too!

Visited twice during our week in saint cyr sur mer, one evening and one lunch. On both occasions the food and service were superb, Pauline and her fellow staff members could not have been more accomadating. Definately recommend.

A strange experience indeed as the male waiter somehow got the impression that half our company wanted to appetiser soup (bread, aioli and bullion) instead of the more seafoodie main option. When the issue was brought to his attention he framed it as our fault. He then continued to bring us white wine when we clearly four times askew for sparkling/bubbly. Misunderstandings happen, yet if anything is unclear or confusion risk arise I trust the waiter to ask one more time. Luckily, a lovely madame saved the day by taking over service for our table, making the evening end more smoothly. Too bad our mood had already turned sour and thus hindering us from staying for deserte.

Great meal. Something for everybody. Good value for money.
