We were rudely pushed down the ramp, no warning, no making sure we were going down at an appropriate speed or safely... When we later told them what had happened and asked them to please make sure this didn't happen to anyone else, they simply offered a surprised reaction... This was extremely busy. We initially went to the wrong company as there are many companies based in the same area. It was not easy to tell them apart. There was a lot of queuing involved for check-in, safety briefing and getting the kayak. The queue to check-in was the same whether you booked in advance or not. Many kayaks were in the river making it hard to have your own space, a bit like bumper cars - more than 100 kayaks in the river at the same time which was not quite what we had in mind. The water is shallow and sometimes you have to get out to push the kayak. I am not sure if this is because of the season as we were there in the summer. We got out at the first exit which was 6km down the river. There was a delay for the bus back to the carpark/site. I am sure if it is usually this busy.

And then we went to explore the spectacular caves of Pando guided by our friendly and expert guide Pepe!
