Very tasty cakes but a bit pricy. The taste was ok, serving was nice, they have a place near the sea where you can serve. I recommend this place for a moment to remember..

Very good choice for coffee and sweets. Their loukoumades are delicious, their cookies and cakes as well and even the ice cream is very good quality. The place has a nice view of the port. It's totally worth to come and enjoy a morning coffee or just sit and savour something sweet

The waiter didn't understand a single word English (couldn't even tell which marmelades they do offer with their crepes and had to get the chef to tell us which can be ordered). Unfortunately he didn't even understand that we ordered two large cappuccinos and brought us small ones instead. After complaining this to the chef, he consents to bring us new ones, what took about 5 minutes. In the end these cappuccinos were cold and it was obvious, that the small cappuccino was just poured into the large cup and some cold milk was added. For 3,50 € very unpleasant. We didn't complain again, but wanted to pay quite fast. Because of this, the chef was very unfriendly and just said in a impolite manner: "I have no time now". In total a bad service, which isn't worth a recommendation.

The server don't understand English, so he didn't understood what we ordered and brought the wrong drinks, so we ordered once again, the Cappuccinos came cold , Crepe 15 minutes later, very bad service, the chef did not cooperate. what a pity.

Not only because the dinner the first time was heavenly tasty, but mostly because of the extremely warm welcome and the outstanding service! Google doesn't have enough stars for this tavern. This is a lovely place, with a nice view over the docks. The food is the best we had on the island and the hosts are warm and friendly. They served water and thatziki with bread appetizer on the house.

Very nice family tavern with pretty view. Prices are affordable. The food is tasty. We ate souvlaki and moussaka. The souvlaki was very good, moussaka a bit bland (I've had better). Good house wine. Very nice service. As an appetizer we got feta paste (very good) and bread. Water and dessert is also free. I recommend the place.

The place is a typical Greek tavern, simple and colorful with a nice view to the sea. Also very clean. You must absolutely try fresh grilled fish. The taste is something else. Good service and prices as well.

Great ambiance. The restaurant is very light,fresh and quiet,very close to the water(20m away). Let me tell you about the food! Outstanding fish!!!!! I ordered a whole sea bass with a simple salad( cucumber,tomatos,onion and lots of olive oil❤️).It was enough for me( i'm 1'56 ,50 kg). They bringed us cold water 1L (with no cost). Some coconut dessert🫣🥰🤤 The toilet is very clean! The serve was very friendly and we could talk in english.

What a charming tavern! The cuisine was truly exquisite, the service impeccable, and all of this came at an incredibly reasonable price. My sole lament is that we didn't have the pleasure of dining here more than once. Undoubtedly, a must-visit establishment.

With the best grilled Shrimps I ever had, it was very delicious !! Very good Service. Tarama and Tzatziki in advance was Selfmade and also very good. You sit slightly elevated and have a nice view of the harbor, if you could get one of the seats in the front at the edge. There was a delicious cake dessert and tsipouro on the house, as often usual on Thasos. We have already been there twice within a few days and will come back a third time before we leave. Price surprisingly cheap for what you get served.

Best Greek hospitality on the island Thassos, food is very tasty, portions are very balanced. It really gives you a warm welcoming feeling and not the profit orientation. I highly recommend this tavern.

Amazing spot right next to the beach. The food was incredible, too. I have been going to Thassos for my summer holidays since I was a child, and I can honestly say this is a great place to experience local food. They have the freshest fish (which you can ask to see before you order) and other very traditional dishes. This was not my first time visiting and won't be the last. We had the prawn pasta and a big fish called Sinagrida (~3kg) to share among us. The type of fish available depend on the weather mostly, so they will be different every time. Starters were all great, too! Highly recommended 👌

The best experience ever! The huge selection of gourmet dishes. Every day there's a great selection of fresh fish and the seafood. On Sunday there was a live greek music that makes a special atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming, kind and hardworking. The waiting time is really short. Many thanks to Nikos and his family for the great work they're doing. If you're a seafood lover this is the perfect place to enjoy. Also, you can try a very delicious homemade Tsipouro. Taverna Armeno will not leave you indifferent. This is a place you want to visit again and again.

Nice and cosy, friendly staff. They are very busy in the evenings and also offer daily menu. We tried octopus risotto from it. Sea food risotto, fries calamaria. Delicious and nice size portions.

After trying all the restaurants in town, we decided Armeno is the best. The staff are so kind, they brought our baby a gift when she fell and hurt herself. While the other restaurants in town are good, Armeno’s food was superior. They also had lovely live music!

The food is amazing. we were 3 families that ate here and everyone was very satisfied. A dish that i would recommend is Fried pork with lemon sauce. The atmosphere is really nice as you are next to the sea and have a great view at it. The waiters are very nice, they tell you things about the dishes that you are ordering and asked multiple times if everything was alright. we also recieved free desert at the end and it was so good that we had to order more of it.If you are on this part of the island, i defintely advise you to check this restaurant out.

If you are on the western shore of Thassos, you will find the best tavern I have ever seen. They always have fresh fish and an impeccable quality of service. Been here couple times. Nikos, the owner, is the one who doesn't let any customer leave unhappy.! I definitely recommend it.!!

The food was fantastic. Calamari was delicious and cooked just right so it was not rubbery Monk fish was very good The moussaka was the best we tried so far on the island. Packed with good flavour. We were thinking at last some good flavours. They do not have a desert menu , but they do bring you complimentary desert free of charge. The one thing that was hard to work with was the flies, which was hard to work with , but other than that very good. I really would like to give it 4.5

One of my favourite places to eat in Thassos, Skala Marion! I come here since 10 years ago, and I feel extraordinary every time. The food is exceptional and the serving great!

Great food with a view. This place is a real find! They serve an octopus dish that’s out of this world. It’s sun-dried, so the taste is really strong and delicious. The restaurant has a laid-back vibe, and the people there make sure you’re well taken care of. The sun-dried octopus alone is worth the trip, but it’s the overall experience that will capture your heart and make you a return visitor. If you love seafood and want a meal to remember, you’ve got to try their octopus. Plus, the views are a bonus!

Everything was great. Red mullet, fried mussels, fried calamari, armeno salad, everything we bought was very tasty and fresh.The desserts served as a treat were very nice. I definitely recommend it.

Review for middle of July 2023, a Saturday afternoon: - Skala Marion is a small village on the seaside, and a small port for fishing. - based on Google Maps recommendation, this was the highest rated food facility close to the beach. The tavern appears to be focused on quality of food and is not investing much on PR / marketing. Menu is mostly text, Greek/English and German language, however all fish are fresh. You can feel from the taste of fish and you can see it with your own eyes. Do choose from the "fish of the day" which is always fresh and based on luck of the fishermen. Serving size is huge, every main course get it's side dish included. I'm definitely returning here as the taste of fish and food is genuinely Greek and fresh. Service was decent fast, tavern quickly filled it's tables before everyone else in vicinity. I saw also locals who were eating closo to the main building. Do try the tzatziki. The sardines fillets were tasting as today's fresh. Dessert was absolutely delicious (home made ice-cream, apple pie in a bowl with honey, and some cake with Turkish influence). Payment accepted by card also tap to pay or contactless.

The only Place to eat fish in the whole Island, words are not enough to describe how good the food is and how friendly the staff is.... There is absolutely no way you could leave this Place and forget the food, trust me and just take the time to Visit the Place, you will never forget it ☝️

The food at the restaurant is the best we ate in Thassos. The service is impecable, the location is superb, right next to the beach, with breathtaking views in the evening. During the day the trees that cover all the restaurant make a nice cool shade. The food is really tasty with good portions and value for money. You must try Mario's cocktails!

If I have to use one word for my experience in the Elia restaurant it will be marvelous! The food is fresh, the staff is extremely friendly and willing to help, always nearby checking if everything is okay. Everything is homemade without any compromises is food quality. We ate several times and all the dishes are amazing! The bar cocktails are worth to try!

We are two times on our stay in Limenaria. The food is very good and tasty. The presentation is of good quality. The service is good as well. There is a great view to the sea as the restaurant is above sea level. They don't bring free dessert as on most Greek restaurants but may because it is on another level. The only downside is that we were with kids and there is a pool nearby and a street in front of the restaurant.

Really great place to eat! The food is exceptional and the place is the most beautiful I’ve seen so far on the island in terms of how it looks. I really recommend the food here and the staff is also great! I could eat here every day and not get enough of it! The homemade wine is also very good! :)

Very accommodating staff, quick to attend and the service was impressively fast and flawless. The food is delicious, perfectly cooked and plated. Plenty of choices. The vibe is good, one really feels spoiled. Warning: the helps are huge, about double compared with what others offer. To me, the mix fish plater for 2, rather was for 4!

Best restaurant in thassos! We ate there twice during our stay and the food was great. They have an actual chef. We liked the entrees, the seabass and the stake, which was actually cooked medium rare! But big props to our bartender Mario! They have a cocktail bar there where you can get some of the standard cocktails or some of their own creations. They make proper good cocktails! I recommend the rumvan (ice team and rum) and the cassis (blackberry and prosecco). The service was excellent. The terrace is very pretty too!

The menu is diverse with really nice and with a good variety of dishes. We were able to try a couple of offerings as we went twice for dinner, due to the quality and hospitality we experienced. We had the lamb ribs, the grilled squid, the grilled swordfish, the panceta from their menu. All were amazing and delicious. In the starters, the Arancini, the octopus balls (dish of the day) and the shrimps saganaki were incredible. Also, there is in the menu a white wine, Tsitsianoudis/Assyrtiko; which is produced by the owner in its own winery which is also really good!! Definitely, worth checking it out! If we would visit Thassos again, we would indeed go back to this restaurant!!

It is an great place runned by awesome peoples. The dishes are extraordinary. practically you benefit from fine dining at tavern prices. Everything is amazing!!! I hardly recommend this fine place!
