Points of Interest & Landmarks
In the heart of Brisighella's historic center lies Via degli Asini, also known as Donkeys Road or Via del Borgo. This ancient covered street was originally constructed as a defensive structure in the 14th century, featuring half arches and serving military purposes. Later on, it became a route for transporting gypsum from nearby caves using donkeys.
Beautiful. A must see. This ancient covered walkway takes you back 500 years. Well worth the visit

Fantastic little village in the "mountains". We parked the car and climbed the stair to La Rocca (The Castle), spectacular view. Then some strolling and through Via degli Assini (Donkey’s Street) Recommend
Fredrik Heyman — Google review
This does not deserve further comments. La via degli asini remains the Brisighella jewel. Yet make the effort to go to end of the porch and go through steep and ancient steps of a stair to the Torre dell'orologio and down to the white dirt road lined with cypresses to the Rocca. You can go up also through the fields of wild artichokes and reach the ridge if you want have a stunning 360 view of Brisighella and the surrounding valleys. Unforgettable.

Medieval and mystical. Full moon shone but hid at the same time. This was another secret of the region. One I shall go back to during the day.

The Torre dell'Orologio, one of three towers in Brisighella positioned on hilltops, is a clock tower dating back to the 19th century. It offers picturesque vistas of the city and allows visitors to observe Ora Italica timekeeping (ranging from one to six instead of twelve). Although access may be restricted at times, ascending the tower rewards climbers with breathtaking panoramic views of both the city and neighboring castle.
A spectacles point of view. Definitely worth every step up.
Alexey Tee — Google review
The place is beautiful, but it was not possible to go inside because it was closed. Climbing here is worth it for the incredibly beautiful views of the city from the height of this hill.
Daria Glazneva — Google review
One of the three towers in Brisighella on top of hills. This is the clock tower from the XIXth century, with great views to the city. You can also enter it, and the clock displays Ora Italica (goes from one to six, not twelve).
Julia Boechat — Google review
Such a nice view! From that point you can see the whole city and the castle that's opposite to it, it's worthy the walk 😁
Juli López — Google review
If you're in Brisighella, take a walk up to the clock tower for great views across to the castle on the next hill, and also views of the village below. Highly recommended.

On 15/09/2023, Trattoria la Casetta offered an excellent fixed menu lunch with fair prices and efficient and friendly staff. Their food is fabulous, especially their first courses that stand out among the restaurants in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna region. The restaurant serves traditional recipes with a modern twist, using strictly local ingredients.
Fabulous food! Been traveling around Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna region in the past couple of weeks, trying many great restaurant. When it comes to first courses ("Primi") La casetta sits a notch above all. My wife and I started ordering 3 first courses and ended up ordering 2 more. That's 5 pastas in two! Why? Recipes are traditional, however many with a modern twists, ingredients used are strictly local and pastas are all handmade. Pro-tip: pastas are all good but filled pasta (ravioli, tortelli, cappellacci etc..) are on a different level.

Fantastic fish menu! Big portions, amazing taste, nice people. You might wait a bit for your dish, but come on, it’s understandable - there’re always lots of visitors. The most important is what you receive in the end, and believe me you’ll love it.

We picked the set menu, 25€ per person. It was so much food. Starting with the selections of aperitif such as gnoccofrito and charcuteries and squacquerone. Then choice of 2 pastas, we picked spaja larda and tagliatelle ragu. The spaja larda is very tasty and interesting. The meat we picked grigliata mista and grilled pork. They were well over cooked and dry. Dessert selection was okay.
Jason C. Lin — Google review
Very nice place with a lovely terrace for summer evenings. The staff was polite and tried it's best but with 50min wait between the antipasti and the primi, we were obligated to cancel the tagliata which we really wanted to taste, therefore 3 stars because it really affected our mood for the whole evening. Despite this, I have to say that the pasta was very tasty and the gala of antipasti was also very good. The wine that was proposed was equally worth it.

We tried to eat there. Our table was direct in the middle on the main walk. After seating we had no service for 15 minutes. Then the waitress ran away because we asked something in englisch. The card is complicated an difficult to understand. Even with a translation via mobile phone. 3 different menues. All of them with choosing from card. Still no service. We were disappointed from this really pretty overcrowded place. After 30 min without service we left and found another pretty and tasty place
