There is an opportunity to dine at the Da Enzo a Mare eatery, where the fictional investigator spends a significant amount of time, although this is not included in the tour's price. Initially hesitant due to its association with the Montalbano television series, there was relief upon booking as it turned out to be more than just a tourist trap. While slightly expensive, it deserves acknowledgment for its fantastic ambiance, attentive staff, and delectable cuisine.
Another fantastic lunch. Took my parents in law for their anniversary and the food and wine was excellent. This is the third time I eaten her and another highly recommended place if you are in the area. We travelled just over an hour to get here, but well worth it.

We were a bit apprehensive in booking here and concerned that it would be touristy due to the television series Montalbano... However, we are so pleased we did. It is definitely a tourist attraction and slightly overpriced, but I think it deserves recognition. We had a magnificent time! Location is wonderful, staff friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Great seafood and straightforward - it is a very relaxed setting. Restaurant is located right on the shore. The decor is charming in its nautical and rustic style. Would love to return.

(Translated by Google) Enjoyed a lunch of one course with a bottle of wine and water for 98.50 euros. In itself fine if the price/quality were sufficient. Unfortunately I don't think that is the case. I ordered a dish with mussels and vongole shells and that seemed difficult, but the nice waiter managed to figure something out. When paying, it turned out that two dishes had been combined into one dish for 35 euros. I find that strange because I don't think it was communicated in that way and the quantity was definitely not that of two dishes. My partner had frittura mista; fried fish, which was not of quality considering the price. All in all, a beautiful place and nice wine and the food itself was fine, but it's a pity that there was a communication error when ordering. It seems that commerce comes first here.

Epic place. No idea why the reviews are so mixed. Setting speaks for itself. Staff were friendly and attentive. Menu is simple and beautifully freshly cooked. Portions generous. I had the octopus and my mum the pasta vongole. Yum! And value - for the quality of the food and the uninterrupted sea views - I think €20 a main course is absolutely fine. I highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant on the beach of Punta Secca and very famous location for one of the best italian fiction "Inspector Montalbano". Stunning food and amazing fresh fish dishes.

Great place we loved it and its totally worth to pay a visit! SeaFood is fresh and cooked perfectly. Specifically, I liked the sauce from both main dishes in the photo and amazing dessert.

Great location on the water. Staff were friendly and service was good. Good size serves. My wife had the tuna, just touch over done (but she likes is rawer than usual). My sea bass was a just done near the bone. Overall a pleasant lunch. I would go back

Fantastic location, right on the seafront. Not easy to reserve a table - opening times not clear. Closed a lot of the off season.

Stunning food in a stunning location We went to this restaurant as I am a Montalbano fan who wanted to eat where the comissario eats in the show. Fearing that the place would not live up to my hopes, luckily we were wrong and it was superb! Firstly, the location. It’s right on the beach to the point that occasionally the waves gently lap the edge of the restaurant. You could not ask for better but reserve a table in advance to sit right by the edge outside on the balcony for the best seats in the house. Next the food. Beautiful from the generous bread basket, to the main dishes to the wine. My partner had pasta with mussels, which she never wanted to end; and grilled octopus (can be described as ‘heaven’!) Go there if you’re a Montalbano fan, go there if you’re not, just go there!

Good place to visit for who knows about “commissario Montalbano” But i think its lil bit pricey and only 2 choice of price for food €50 and €75 😰

Sand Design Restaurant is an incredibly delightful eatery located in a truly remarkable setting. This establishment is a must-visit for fish enthusiasts, with a menu filled with delectable seafood options. The staff members are exceptionally amiable and are proficient in English, which is advantageous for non-Italian speakers. The extensive menu includes antipasti, starters, main courses, and desserts, as well as daily specials that are not listed on the regular menu.
An amazingly tasty restaurant in an equally amazing place. This restaurant is a must for those who love fish. The staff are very friendly and speak English (a plus for those who do not speak Italian). The menu is full of food related to fish. The menu consists of antipasti, starters, main courses and deserts, together with specialities of the day that of course are not listed on the menu. Looking over the beach one can find a mezzanine which is very airy. A small side note: the restaurant opens at 12.30.

The worst food I had in Sicilia, calamari hard as a rock, filling tasted terrible, we couldn’t even finish the meal. Tuna tartare was not made with fresh fish and had too much onion so I couldn’t taste anything but the onion. Everything was so bad, even mojito cocktail was made with very very bad rum, I just took a small sip and leave the rest of it in the glass. Please don’t go there, I don’t know why this place is 4-star 🤷🏼‍♀️ the only good things were water and bread.

One of the most beautiful restaurant in Punta Secca. Dishes are superb for colors, flavors and originality. Danilo and Santino are top for friendliness and professionalism.
Costantino Pistagna (valv0) — Google review
Great place to just hang out for coffee ( best in Sicily) and the most delicious crostatini ( made by the owner's mum) or have an evening meal. We accepted Danilo's ( one of the owners) recommendations and we were treated to most excellent food and wine. Highly recommended

The mussels smelt bad and were flavorless. The Tuna was lackluster and the arugula came with little rotten bits. The pasta in the pesto was underdone . A dis-service to Sicilian cuisine. The service was nice and the location was charming.
David Garcias — Google review
We had a wonderful dinner here, our host explained the dishes available, made great suggestions, I had octopus to start which had been cooked very slowly for around 18 hours, It was so tender and delicious, followed by sardine fillets in bread crumbs. Bellissimo. Ottim. And of course some delicious local wine to accompany the food.

Absolutely delicious food and exceptional service. When we ordered too much, not knowing the portion sizes, they advised us to get less, reducing the bill by about €30 - this is a first for us and we've eaten out at a lot of places! True integrity. We were made to feel so welcome by the owners. And every single course of the 4-course meal was nothing less than spectacular. Bravo and grazie mille, Danilo and Santino, we'll be back 👏👏

Great food and drinks, nice ambience by the beach and good and friendly service. However, not cheap! Definitely above average compared to other restaurants in Sicily. Try the Chocolate cake with ricotta, it’s delicious. 😋

Rosengarten is a straightforward and convenient dining establishment offering a fine assortment of seafood options and an extensive variety of pizzas. The menus are equipped with English translations, while the helpful staff ensures that tourists receive their desired selections. Additionally, the restaurant boasts an ample selection of wines and provides a beautiful setting where patrons can enjoy picturesque sunsets if properly timed. The mixed grilled fish and plain oysters are particularly delightful choices.
A short trip to Punta Secca led me to the charming Rosengarten Restaurant, a cozy Sicilian gem with a wonderful view of the sea. The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the seafood: fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The experience at Rosengarten is worth every penny. With its elegant atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious seafood, it's a dining destination that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Punta Secca.

An excellent restaurant in the iconic location of the famous series. The pizza is wonderful, the octopus is simply the best I've had in Italy. Affordable prices and wonderful atmosphere of Sicily.

Simple and easy. Good selection of seafood dishes as well as a wide range of Pizzas. English translationson the menus, and helpful staff to make sure us tourists get what we wanted! Extensive wine list. Beautiful setting from where you can watch the sunset if you time it right. My Mixed Grilled fish was excellent, as was the plain Oyster I sampled.

It is an ok place to get something to fill up but doesn't stand out. Food was ok, service was good. The ambient needs change. Try the local lemonchello!

Pizza was quite good but took one and a half hours to arrive with a waiter who 'do not speak the English', even though half the customers were English. Shrimp cocktails just like a poor English version of yesteryear. My wife left half her ravioli.

Decent food & great location in Punta Secca just a few steps from Montalbano's 'house' - service a little bit & miss

What a wonderful restaurant! The food is delicious, the seafood is very fresh, the staff is very good, and the owners/management are incredibly hospitable and kind. The views are spectacular! I am looking forward to my next visit to Punta Secca just to come back to this restaurant. Saluti!

A Musciara Ristorante Pizzeria is more than just a pizzeria; it is an exceptional restaurant that offers delectable cuisine, including local dishes and exquisite seafood. Situated conveniently by the beach, this hidden gem never fails to impress visitors upon entering through its small entrance. The location itself is a delightful surprise. This well-located establishment specializes in serving both pizza and seafood dishes. While the service was polite, some minor adjustments could enhance the overall experience.
This is not only a pizzeria but a great restaurant with amazing food, local dishes and very good fish meal. Location on the beach is a lovely surprise once you enter from the small entrance. Unmissable.

Very nicely located place, that serves pizza and sea food. Attention was cordial but needs tweaking. Good was good

Must be the most expensive sitting we had on our journey through Sicily. This place was recommended to us from our hotel but to pay €10 just to sit down is quite something. Also the food I can compare with other cities in Sicily being that pricey yes not as good as some of the cheaper pizzas we ate. I think you pay for the name and view, and that’s it. There are better places around if you want to have a nice dinner with your family.

20 metres from Casa Di Montalbano. The Commissario would have been pleased with the simple but delicious food. Freshest fish, carefully cooked and served with kindness by Miranda and Rosanna. Don’t miss sitting 10 metres from the waves lapping the shore eating big shrimps and sipping good local wine. Perfetto.

Right next door to montalbanos' house right on the beach at Punta Secca. Unfortunately was closed when we were there (everything closes end of September here) so cannot comment on food, but the location is superb, and worth a visit, but there’s not much else here to make you linger

Probably the only restaurant in Europe, where you are not able to book a table by phone: you must show up in person, and the staff will put you on a waiting list. We waited for an hour and a half, which is only an indication of it being Saturday, and there are few pizzerias open in Punta Secca. Not that the quality is worth the wait. The food is mediocre, but I remove one star because of the 1) idiotic lack of a booking system, and 2) the attitude of the manager, who grumpily told me he remembered my voice from earlier, when actually my wife had tried to book, not me. Staff is competent, but seem overworked & stressed. I wonder how they are treated. My advice to diners is to go somewhere -anywhere- else. My advice to the pizzeria is to get a booking system. And better pizzas.
Kristian Mikkelsen — Google review
Very bad experience! I was very saddened by this pizzeria and overall the aweful experience endured. We had a booking for 11 pax but had 4 extra pax joining. This might have made the owner uneasy as in taking our order she explicitly said, IT: " noi non stavamo qua ad aspettare lei" as in EN:" we weren't here waiting for you to come" which is question-begginng; if this restaurant is not there to host and serve their guests, why are they even opened?!?! The worst of it all was that we had tried to order some chips to the waiter (as soon as we arrived) as we were starving and after a couple of the waiter's attempts to try and ignore us, I run after him asking for the chips while he, very rudely, said that I couldn't order and that the owner/lady would have taken the order for both, pizza and chips. Sadly, the owner(lady) who came to take our order was even more rude than her waiter and said the above phrase (mica noi stavamo aspettando lei) in a very angry voice, aggressive attitude and severe face. A very aggressive owner(lady)/ waiter indeed. My pizza was burnt but it seems the other guests enjoyed theirs hence, no comment on the pizza (I reckon we lost the initial zeal and excitement after the rude & unwelcoming behaviour of the hosts). There were further problems once we wanted to pay our bill. The owner (husband to the owner/lady) was even more rude than his wife. We ended up paying more than we had ordered for because he felt like he didn't want to work for the day and split the bill equally among us all. We had been told by some friends that this was a good place to enjoy a pizza. I trust our friends forgot to tell us the owners don't want to have guests either. NEVER AGAIN in this place 😱😖😤😡🤬!!!

Nice location right on the beach. However, food was very disappointing: pasta pomodoro (simple, uninspiring), gnocchi with fish (didn’t taste very fresh), some fried fish with a little bbq ketchup from the bottle was ok but again uninspiring.

The restaurant Pappappero in Punta Secca offers incredible cuisine and excellent service. It stands out among the other restaurants in the area, serving mouthwatering dishes such as the Pasta con il pesto trapanese, sardines, and swordfish rolls. The menu includes quotes from Montalbano, adding to its cultural appeal. While prices are slightly higher due to its popularity with tourists, it is still worth a visit.
Punta Secca – a place famous thanks to Camillieri and Montalbano, but still peaceful and pleasant to visit. Pappapero with good location next to the small port and good food. Check out the photo and I'm sure you'll be hungry😀

We were amazed - the food so fresh and so interesting taste! I strongly reccommend this płace. Sicilian wine choice - and we made a good one. The service is friendly and polite. The płace was full in spite of beginning October!

Amazing food and really good service. We tried a couple of the restaurants in Punta Secca and this was definitely our favourite. Pasta con il pesto trapanese was to die for and we also had some fantastic sardines and swordfish rolls. They had a nice menu with quotes from Montalbano which added to the cultural experience. The prices were similar to other places in the Punta Secca - slightly more expensive due to the touristic location, but not overly so. We went again and would recommend to others too.

Amazing food. Loved it so much. The antipasto....no words....and the calamari...wow. The pasta with this awesome pesto..and the cannolo scomposto....it was all so good. Nice people that work here. Can't wait to eat here again!

The cooking seems to be aimed to meet Comissario Montalbano high requirements. I am sure he would have one of those freezing in awe moments when tasting insalata Pappapero. Too bad I stumbled.on it the last day of my stay. Please comissario come here, you won't regret it.

We went as English-speaking group of seven and were given the pre-printed tourist menu. Locals at nearby tables were offered daily specials that we were never told about. Hint to management: never assume that a group of foreigners doesn't have Italian speakers among them. Food average but they get lower rating from me for considering tourists second class.
