The Church of The Holy Cross is Nin's primary symbol. It stands on a small plain in town's centre, where the remains of antique buildings can be seen. While it seems perfectly symmetric at the first glance, it is unevenly built, with slightly curved windows and some other odd details. It was discovered that this is due to it's function as a sundial and a calendar. There are barely visible remains of frescoes inside and the famous inscription at the entrance. This is protected cultural heritage as it stands here unchanged since the 9th century, and should be treated accordingly. I didn't like massive cobwebs on the ceiling and kinda shabby overall interior.

This church is located in a beautiful ground full of old roman antiques stones. The space is open and free to entre. The church is very old dated IX century. In a sunny day like in the picture the place is fantastic to enjoy. Around there there is a small museo worth it to enter.

The Church of St. Cross is the most valuable monument of Ninu. This one of the oldest temples in Croatia was probably built around 800. The church is maintained in the Preroman style. The temple is tiny – it has only 40 m of circumference. For this reason, the Church of St. Cross was once considered the smallest cathedral in the world – it was probably the seat of bishop Ninu. Now he has lost this honorable name, because... ceased to be a cathedral.
Marek D?browski — Google review
Believe or not this church it is considered the smallest cathedral in the world.

Called smallest chaterdal in the world, originates 9th century AD, layout is designed to catch sun during solstice actting as sundial. Structure has remained unchanged during time capturing history moments for the present. Surrounding green grass and spring flowers make it great for romantic photoshooting. A must to see in Nin. Time worth spending there and enjoying the view.

Free and open space to visit this historical church, not far from city gate ( backside of nin) and then you can walk around the city wall while touring whole city with sea view.

We has a small stopover for half an hour to walk around this castle. It was a place where new croatian kong gets firtsly at light before his people. So from the castle hill , he could see a sea of people waiting for him as was supposed at these times. I must say, that historical texts about this place together with neeing on the place is just amazing. I do love history and this take me away :-) Thanks

Very calm nice place. Problem to go to parking if you go from Zadar. Not allow to cross 2 lines to the parking. Church is closed but very nice location.

The Church of Saint Nicholas is on a plain just outside Nin, on a hillock or mound which is actually a prehistoric tomb. It is perfectly preserved, being one of the most significant sites in medieval Croatia and overall Croatian history. It has been dated to late 11th or early 12th century, being an example of pre-Romanesque architecture. It's importance is that here the coronation of Croatian kings took place, according to a traditional ritual. There is a big parking lot for cars and buses, a small info-panel and a wooden path that leads to the Church. The Church is, unfortunately, closed but I guess this is due to possible vandalism. It would be great to see it's interior... The surroundings could be a bit more maintained.
Vanja Zvonar — Google review
Beautiful little church around 900 years old. It is located near the main road from Vir to Nin. By the road and near the church there is big parking lot, so parking is not the problem. Near the parking lot there is tablet with some information about the church. By the tablet there is path few hundred metres long that leads to the church. The church is located on the hill that seems to be ancient burial ground. The walls of the church are made of stone blocks and are pretty high. On top of the church there is turret that was built additionally in 16th century to fortify the church. This church is important part of Croatian history because first Croatian kings were crowned in it. Unfortunately in time of my visit the doors were locked so there was no opportunity to visit church from the inside.
Ivan Uzarevic — Google review
Beautiful Church built on an earlier narrow burrial site. We'll preserved! A treasure of a building, 7 kings crowned here. Be sure to pet and feed the kitten on site!

This very old church dates from late 11th or early 12th century, and is located near Nin. There is a parking for approximately 20+ cars. A wooden path leads to the church and it's wheelchair accessible. Most of the time the church is unfortunately closed, so you can't have a look inside.
Ivan Milić — Google review
A very interesting little old church set off the main road, but visible because it is set a top a hill which can easily be seen from the road. While it is lovely and looks beautiful set upon the hill, you can't actually go inside it. There is a little hiking trail you can take to walk up and view it up close, but not access to the inside.

Guided tours on the crystallization, harvest & history of salt, plus a shop with handmade products.
Salt over gold. Unique, natural technology: sea, sun, wind. Once a month 'Open door day," when there is free of charge guided tour to the fields. Nice house of salt - exhibition on history, process. Gift shop offers salt related goods, which could serve as nice gift from this part of Croatia. There was limited assortment of postcards - only one sort available.
Bobroc Bobroc — Google review
Lovely tour of the salt plains together with Paulina, our guide. Very interesting to hear all about salt production! The gift shop has some nice surprises such as ice cream, chocolate, cookies with flower salt, just to name a few. Unfortunately we did not get to see the actual harvest as we visited later in the season.
Miruna Nichita — Google review
I was really surprised today with tour of this place. I didn't have any expectations for salt making facility but because of tour guide I learned a lot! I would recommend going in this museum if you are near by. I hope it will surprise you with some fun facts and know-how.
Sven Celin — Google review
Nice small museum. The museum visit starts with a short video that explains the process of salt making. Visitors can touch and feel the different types of salts and understand their use and purpose.
Padmini M S — Google review
Interesting place to visit if you are nearby. The museum is really small, the entrance cost 5€ adults and 3€ children (but it should be free for children) and it provides nice learnings about hand harvesting salt. If the visit would have included a walk in the salt banks would have worth the entrance. It was the first time I bought so much salt at once.
Pui — Google review
Very interesting visit. A talk and demonstration in English was given along with a video with English subtitles. We learnt a great deal about the production process of salt which is an important industry in this region. There are some artifacts to see and it's possible to see some of the areas where the salt is being filtered from the water. There is a shop for you to buy the salt and related products.
wayne howe — Google review
It's a really nice and small museum. You can learn about how salt is made, where can you use it and that kind of info. I would recommend visiting it, because it doesn't take a lot of time but it's worth it :D
Kel0ke — Google review
Such a wonderful (and resourceful) tour, (small but) lovely museum and a well stocked (and at the same time thoughtfully arranged) shop. This place has such a good vibe about it. Whole family enjoyed, even the youngest (2.5years old) managed to do the tour. Toilets are new and kept clean.
Vanja Muskon — Google review
Went on a ~45 minute tour of the Nin salt pans. The guide was both knowledgable and well-spoken. Afterwards, we also visited the souvenir shop that offered a wide variety of seasoning salt as well as salt-based cosmetics, all for a reasonable price. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would warmly recommend it to everyone.
Silvia Kurolt — Google review
Find out when they have open days to enter the salt fields. Guided tour is approx. 1 hour, at the end they have small museum and very nice shop. Take binocular with you and watch the birds. You can not miss Black-winged Stilt (H. himantopus). 👌🪶
Mihaela Mesarić — Google review
This beautiful place is very well kept and clean. You can have a guided tour of the salt planes, and the guide explains how is the salt made. You can also try a rare algae that grows only here; it's a salty and chewy herb, ideal for seafood. The museum is small, but very interesting and you can buy various types of salt and spices. It's kid friendly. The parking is ample, you don't have to worry about that.
Ivan Milić — Google review
It was a nice experience to see how is the sea salt harvested. Everyday we eat salt so it was time to see where is it coming from :D The guide was lovely and it is such a lovely place to visit. Even our little one liked it.
Oli Ver — Google review
Nice place, but to be honest just the two small rooms as a museum is definitely not worth the money.. plus you have to pay extra if you want to go to see the place where the salt is actually made. However the souvenir shop is very nice with wide selection of products made out of the local salt.

Amazing place to stay. We just visit is two days in row as visitors a toke a lunch and sunbath and second day for minigolf, but great place with lot of things to do!

Resort like. While I understand paying for water craft activities (which was a lot of fun), but I was very confused on why I needed to pay to sit under an umbrella at the resort pool. We reserved and stayed in the 4* apartment. Also it would’ve been nice to let us know we would need pool towels, we had to use bath towels. Tried to get new ones and room service seemed confused about us returning our used towels for clean ones. This was all unexpected as other Resorts provide pool towels. More like a glorified camping park. The pool and water activities were great for kids. Also reception told us the pool was heated (toed every body of water at the pool and that was not correct). Food was decent, kids enjoyed it.
Vanniese Filer — Google review
It is a friendly place for families. Great structure with a lot of activities! Although I enjoyed staying here I don't think I wouldn't come back to stay in the apartments as it is expensive and you have to pay for everything everything even the umbrella and chairs on the swimming pool area! If you going camping make sure to bring your own beach umbrella and chair, beach accessories, bike, paddle board and etc that way you would be able to explore the place to the fullest... Non of that are included in price which is already expensive..

Zaton Holiday Resort is a true gem! It is located in a fantastic environment and exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The beach is stunning, the sea is crystal clear, and the sandy shore is perfect for relaxation and sunbathing. There are plenty of entertainment options for children, and water sports enthusiasts will not be disappointed. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and carefree stay. The half-board meals were excellent, with a wide variety of choices, and the food was delicious and fresh. During our time in the apartment, we were completely enchanted by the beauty and neatness of the rooms. The decor was modern and elegant, and the view from the terrace was simply breathtaking. We had all the comforts we needed, and we truly felt at home during our stay. Overall, Zaton Holiday Resort is a true paradise. It is located in a stunning environment, the staff is friendly and helpful, the beach is wonderful, and the food is tasty. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect vacation and entertainment, especially for families. I am certain that we will return here in the future!

I spent 7 nights in this resort in a 3 star apartment with my family ( 4 persons). We paid 1700 euro for 7 nights, just accommodation (no meals).Totally disappointed with the whole experience for various reasons: - the apartment was small, probably not renovated since its opening, the windows had wooden frames and no nets, you could hear everything from outside( there was a lot of noise from the insects in the trees) - during our stay nobody came to clean the apartment inside our around(like the stairs), we had no change of linen. 3 times somebody came and dropped a few clean towels and took the garbage from the kitchen (not the bathroom) - the staff was not at all polite or interested to your well being , always looking bored. We had to carry our luggage to the apartment for a long distance ( we received instructions to look for the helpers in the parking lot but at the checkin we could not find them and at the check out they drove by our apartment and paid no attention when we signaled to them). At the reception the staff was very rude when we expressed our problems , and very reluctant to answer to our questions. - the sun-beds we’re not included in the accommodation and you had to pay extra for them at the beach and also at the pool complex. The price for 2 sun beds and one umbrella was 18 euros. - we tried the food served in the restaurants around but we preferred to eat outside the resort, because the quality and the price did not seem to make the worth. - the activities organized by the animation team around the complex and at the kids club were not engaging and the staff looked bored most of the times. -although the beach is very shallow it has little sand for kids to play and it is surrounded by concrete blocks and not child friendly at all. Our general impression was that the price we paid reflected in poor service received. For the same amount we received far better service in similar family resorts. Definitely will not recommend the location!

(Translated by Google) Once but never again. We were transferred to this campsite due to unfinished work at the 1st choice campsite. We were therefore placed at the back, which meant that we had to walk more than 20 minutes (false flat) to entertainment and the beach and swimming pool. Especially with a 3-year-old child and all your stuff. Very illogical layout of places and mobile homes. Playgrounds pathetic. Two things and then you had it. Arrival by plane in the morning, I couldn't check in, I understand, but I couldn't use all the facilities either. Never experienced it before. Booked through eurocamp. Never again. A host who couldn't or didn't want to say anything. Speaking bad English. Mobile home with a broken toilet and 1 burner on the hob, but they didn't fix that. Only after the hood season. The environment is beautiful and fun and plenty to do. We were limited in terms of transportation, but that was our own fault. Beautiful excursions. It was a nice campsite and my daughter enjoyed it, but we were left with a dark side. Never again eurocamp and saton is not a certainty either.

We have stayed here for 3 days in August 2021. The resort has all the necessary resources for a nice stay. However the prices are higher comparing to outside. As the apartments have a small kitchenette, you can buy food from near supermarkets. I highly recommend this resort, especially for families with children.
Silviu M — Google review
It’s a lovely resort. The kids club staff are great. Emir was particularly sweet with our children and went out of his way to get them involved in lots of fun activities. He made them very comfortable with him. The pool area really needs to be cleaned better (especially the raised deck by the heated pool, this was disgusting!). The tables attached to the umbrellas were sticky and dirty (even first thing in the morning which shows they do not clean them each night). It’s sad because it’s getting very expensive to stay here now, and on top of that the additional price of renting a lounger and umbrella by the pool everyday makes it prohibitively expensive! The organisation also seems lacking. I was told previously that their resort train would be running during our stay and it was not. The reception desk had no idea when it would start running and we’re not help. For a disabled person that was a big problem because our mobile home was 1.2km from the pool. I couldn’t get there easily. I’m unsure if we would return, it really depends on the prices next year as they seem to be going up and up.

Perfect resorts to stay with kids Nice apartments, swimming pool, market, restaurants and fun activities. Will surely visit again and it makes sense to stay at least 4-5 days The reason for not putting 5 stars is the small reception where you have to wait in a queue, The check in experience was not the best and don't expect wifi to always work. But overall a great place and a must visit.

Great place to stay for a family with kids. Lots of activities, outdoor pools with slides and other devices, kid friendly foods in the buffet. I suggest to visit in low season, I imagine it gets pretty crowded in July and September.

It was an absolute blast staying at the resort. The selection of the buffet meals were outstanding! Everyday housekeeping (replacement of toilet paper and removal of garbage) did not happen at first, but once it was brought under management's attention, it also improved. The rooms with the extended balconies are clean & well-maintained, and the outside areas are clean & neat. The staff are very professional and friendly. Will definitely recommend this resort!

The resort is very big and beautiful with lots of green spaces that are very well kept. It’s located in a pine forest, there are plants everywhere. We booked a premium mobile home. It is small but comfortable, with two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a big terrace. Everything was very clean and modern, they changed the towels after three days (you need to take them outside on the terrace to let them know). The staff was responsive to any issues we had, they changed our gas tank very quickly when it ran out. You can literally find anything on camp, it’s true that you need to pay extra for some services but that didn’t bother us. Lots of parks and fun activities for kids. Despite the size and the big number of people, it was quiet at night and the beach was not crowded. We really had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

(Translated by Google) It is a beautiful campsite due to its location. As a tourist you are milked. The prices are really way too high! The staff was purchased on Marktplaats. If they don't agree with you, they will argue with you. One important tip. They want to keep your ID card at the reception until the end of your stay. You do NOT have to agree to this! This is due to identity fraud and your duty as a citizen that you must be able to show your ID. After a long discussion we received our ID cards again. The sign says that you can pay until 9:00 PM, but there is just a pin terminal at the counter. Just keep whining and pay for your stay so you can get your ID card again :).

The rooms are beautiful and well-equipped. The available activities are interesting, the beach is lovely, and I especially liked the outdoor gym/fitness area. The staff is exceptionally pleasant, polite, efficient, and professional. Locatie is geweldig. Ga eten in Nin, of Zaton (of Zadar). (Translated by Google) Location is great. Unfortunately, it really is a 'tourist trap'. You have to pay for literally everything, and since the euro was introduced, entrepreneurs seem to have taken advantage of this by increasing everything disproportionately. PLEASE NOTE: At the reception you will be asked to leave your ID card or passport until you have paid. Payment is only allowed at certain times, this is stated on a sign. The reason for this is unclear. Tip to all Dutch people: you are not obliged to hand over your ID or passport, if you stand your ground, you can eventually just pay without leaving your ID. Have dinner in Nin, or Zaton (or Zadar). Much better food and much cheaper than at the resort.

(Translated by Google) In 50 years of camping, I have never known such a bad way to check in. In the fille, after checking paper notes, there are 4 free places to choose from on a piece of paper. Then quickly choose a place from there without being allowed to take your vehicle with you. Then fill in again at the reception to hear that your choice has just disappeared. Then return for another choice from the 4 and do the fille again. Installing the sanitary facilities at the acsi discount standard is wonderful, but cannot compensate for the negative effect of aircraft that fly over at night at a relatively low altitude. The new buildings on the beach are cool and cold. So no fun. Croatia risks overplaying its hand because the prices for drinks, ice creams and restaurants are extremely higher than in Belgium. Zadar was not worth the move. In short, it is not worth traveling further than Istria and Plitvice.

Gr8 old city of Nin. I do love history, and I was glad to be there. Was a bit windy, so acces through bridge was fun. We had like 1-1:30hour a walk around whole city and we did have a great icecream. When we found Roman Temple and the smallest cathedral on the world it was done :) Nice, nice, nice :) I hope we will come back again, as I came back now cause I was here with my parents and I was 9yrs old :) Nice place

The remains of the Roman temple from the second half of the 1st century AD can be found at the very centre of Nin. This was the biggest temple on the east Adriatic coast. The visible remains are outer walls, an entrance staircase and one of the corynthian-style pillars. Former Roman forum was in front of the temple. The place is well maintained and some more info panels on-site would be useful. Fascinating to see either way!

Restoran Sokol Nin, conveniently located near the entrance gate of Nin, offers an exceptional dining experience. Their menu boasts a variety of delectable dishes, including plates featuring sokol - a unique prosciutto from the Dalmazia region. The appetizer and pasta options with mushrooms, shrimp, and sokol are particularly delightful. Previously cash-only, they now accept card payments as well. The English-speaking staff provides excellent service at reasonable prices.
This place just set a new standard for the 5 stars... The proper review will come soon... I could not wait leaving the feedback before even finishing the food.. true flavors...fresh meat and squids. Great food and friendly service! Pizza (best we've had) and grilled squid were excellent. We also enjoyed the grilled vegetables and gazpacho. Sides of peas (likely canned) and plain rice (under cooked) were not our favorites. Service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. We first received multi lingual menus not including English, when they heard us discussing our choices in English they offered English menus. Seating available under a beautiful grape arbor or out front under umbrellas. Credit cards not accepted.

Great place right in front of the entrance gate of Nin. The food is amazing and you MUST try their plates with sokol (a special prosciutto from the Dalmazia region). I had an appetizer and a past with mushrooms, shrimp and sokol. Delicious. Originally they accepted only cash, now you can pay also with card. The personnel speak English, the price is right. You can seat inside or outside the walls, still amazing.

Restaurant
Konoba Restaurant BEPO in Zaton is a popular dining spot with a delightful ambiance, especially during the evenings when live music fills the air. The cuisine served here is of exceptional quality and comes at reasonable prices compared to other establishments in Croatia. One highly recommended dish is the mussels, which are truly outstanding. This restaurant caters to everyone's taste buds, including children who love their perfectly cooked chicken nuggets.
Excellent food, very good cuisine and extremely friendly service. Expensive tho, you can eat cheaper at the same level in nearby Zadar.

we've been to this restaurant several times now. Mostly the food and service is great, however, it can vary. In our opinion it is the best food at Zaton Holiday Resort.

We ate at Konoba Bepo first for lunch and then the day after even for dinner. The atmosphere was great, especially during the evening with live music. The food was real good as well. Highly recommend the mussels which were top notch! Ps: Decent prices compared to everything else in Croatia.

Amazing restaurant! Our favorite at the resort! The food was so so good! I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail and Jakov wine! Absolutely amazing you won't regret it! Great service and food was delicious! Very relaxing atmosphere

They are holding pregnant lobsters illegally in a tank to eat. One of them had died and was being eaten by the other lobsters. When I asked the staff they told me they were above the law and to go home and relax. Wouldn’t frequent the place considering their own private laws of lobster fishing, which will be being shared with the relevant sea services. You’re breaking the law. As soon as a female lobster is seen to have eggs she should have been returned to the sea BY LAW instead it died and was eaten by the other lobsters in the tank. As soon as this was realised they removed it knowing the consequences. Disgusting. It will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Waiters confirm for me that the lasagna meat is beef, after long time waiting we got a lasagna with beef and pork meat. I asked to replace the meal for another and they charged us for 2 meals. It’s their mistake but we have pay it!!! Very bad experience.

Bepo is our all time favourite restaurant in Croatia we came here from other cities brought here our friends because we loved it here for 9 years… things changed portions are way smaller, food is more expensive.. its still very good delicious but the vibe got messed up by the staff here.. i mean at the beggining they offered us the rest of some fish after some people.. then we waited for the menu even when the restaurant was almost empty.. it took that long we knew what we want to eat.. finally he came asked us about the drinks and left with words “i am going to order the drinks and be right back” few minutes passed and there were like 10 waiters doing nothing so we asked if we can order with someone else.. we ordered.. the first waiter comes asking questions about the order and it’s just chaotic.. we asked for one big and one small beer.. he brought 2 small and when we told him he said “i will bring you another small one” (big beer 4,40€ small beer 3,60€ (3,60€x2=7,20€)).. well after some complaints he gave it us as gratis but it’s about the point…at the end he asked for a tip we said no for the whole experience and the way he looked at us… like how dare you..we tipped him at the end but just so he knows we are dissapointed…

MAD DUCK is a unique dining option in the area, offering an alternative experience to traditional restaurants. As someone who follows a vegetarian diet, I was pleased with their vegan burger which was incredibly flavorful. The rest of my group enjoyed the fish and chips as well as the pizza funghi, both finding their choices satisfying. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a diverse menu. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and capable of communicating fluently in English.
Great bacon burger with fries and ketchup included, and one of the best pizza doughs I've ever had. It was also no problem to omit some ingredients. Cozy sitting area, small but nice and clean bathroom. Friendly, quick and polite staff, dogs are welcome (we even got a bowl of water). They accept credit cards. Great experience overall, definitely recommend.

This place was recommended by a friend's of ours. We went there for a pizza and it was really good. Lots of toppings to choose from. Pretty thin crust (which we like). We had frutti di mare which taste really good and you can taste the freshness of ingredients. If you're cheese lover, don't need to ask for extra - there is a plenty if it. Very friendly staff. I recommend this place, 👌

Nice restaurant in the center of Nin. Mix of Burger, Pizza and local food. It is very out oriented so you sit on the street. Food was good. Pizza and burgers very good. Sea food mix decrease evaluation as prawns in tempura but not peeled is not ideal. Taste good but... But I fully recommend.

Nice, modern place, quick staff, full with people, waiting minutes for table is for sure. Surfers dream burger is recommended, pizza is large and tasty. Fish and chips is not the british style food, but instead a breaded fish with poorish french fries. (Everywhere here we found the same fries so maybe this is the normal. We do not like it).

Absolutely great alternative to the other restaurants here. Fast Food mostly indicates poor quality- But not here! You get tasty high quality Street Food for a good price. I had the best Fritto Misto ever here and also the other dishes where very well done. Can highly recommend this Restaurant.

The bacon hamburger was the best I have ever eaten in my entire life. The pizza was also very delicious and plus point for making the lemonade from fresh lemon. The restaurant also looks very pleasant and nice. :) Fully recommended.

Absolutely amazing with an incredibly friendly staff! I’d give them an extra star if I could. We had had other plans for our last evening in Croatia but decided to go there a second time as our first experience was that great and we didn’t regret it. We decided on burgers, sea food and salads. Everything was delicious!

Tasty and well serviced. Prices acceptable. Highly recommend. A lot of shaded places to rest and eat. Dark rye pizza looking extraordinary.

This place was a delight and a surprise. It looked like a standard fast food menu, burgers, pizzas and so on. However the burgers were top quality including some decent veggie options. Also I had a battered sea food mix with sweet potato fries. Brilliant. Good price on local draught beer. Check it out!

MAD DUCK was a very nice alternative to the traditional restaurants in the area. Especially as a vegetarian I've been very happy about the vegan burger, which was tasty af! Our group also had fish and chips and a pizza funghi. Both were happy with their choice and enjoyed it as well. We can recommend the restaurant to anyone. Also the staff was very friendly and everyone there spoke good english.

Restaurant
Gostionica Burela, situated near the bay of Nin, offers stunning scenic views. The friendly waitstaff and reasonably priced menu make for a pleasant dining experience. The delectable mixed fried seafood starter leaves a lasting impression. Although there was a minor issue with one of the main dishes, it was swiftly addressed by the apologetic and attentive waiter who went above expectations to resolve it.
The food was a bit pricy but I think the food was delicious and the service was excellent

A restaurant with the best view in Nin. The stuff was friendly, waiting time short. 1 star less because the calamares in a fish plate were a little bit smoked.
Michal Gluszek — Google review
Service was friendly and fast. Food portions were small compared with other reviews. We aware that the side price is on top of the dish price. For example, 17€ for two grilled calamari plus a small side of vegetables for 5€. Although, the calamari were awesome grilled the vegetables were tasteless. The size of the schnitzels were smaller than in other reviews too. Bread was a compliment and the sea view was nice too.

Great food and service Back this year for another visit and had lunch yesterday, food and service still very good and I should also mention the lovely views.

This restaurant is located by the bay of Nin and has great views outside. The waiters here were very friendly and the food is reasonably priced. The mixed fried seafood starter was delicious. There was a small issue with our main meal but we mentioned this to the waiter and they were very apologetic and resolved the issue immediately above what we were expecting. Often in tourist locations restaurant staff can be dismissive about small issues with food because they are not looking for repeat custom but not here, the staff handled the it very well and as a result we were very happy. I would recommend this restaurant for it's good views, great staff and tasty food. Staff were very professional and amazing!

After taking a stroll around the lower town in Nin, we stopped here just after midday for lunch. They have slightly lower prices than the surrounding restaurant from what we could see, plus their open air outdoor dining area overlooks the water and stunning Danaric alps across it. My partner got a huge Vienna Schnitzel and I treated myself to some Dalmatian Prosciutto with Pag Island cheese, both accompanied with some freshly baked bread and local olive oil.

Located just outside the island of Nin, Konoba Dalmacija is a highly recommended restaurant with a great view. Although it's advisable to make a reservation due to its popularity, the experience is worth it. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes such as the cold plate featuring local Sokol, tuna steak with potatoes, and palacinke (a local crepe) topped with ice cream and cherries for dessert. The portions are generous and include ample amounts of meat and fish.
Good price, big portions (including lots of meat/fish) and good quality! Very nice, and you'll definitely leave with a full stomach 😊

Service was good, but the food only average. Soup a bit diluted. Boiled potatoes a bit harder on the inside, even there was no rush, only us and two other tables. We had much better meals in the area for EUR 70 or even less.

Food was delicious 😋 the portions were big. The chocolate cake was amazing 👏 the prices were reasonable. No possibility to pay by credit card and a very small parking were minuses. The restaurant was always full, we had to book in advance.

Great place just outside the island of Nin, I read such good reviews and I had to try. I didn't have a reservation, but it's better to do one, it's pretty busy. I had the cold plate with local Sokol (a special prosciutto of the Dalmatian region) and tuna steak with potatoes. All along two karlovacko. At the end I added as dessert the palacinke (local crepe) with ice cream and cherries, BEST choice ever, it was delicious! Great view under the pergola, the personnel speak also English. As many places in this area they accept only cash. There is an ATM near by if you need. Considering similar places this is a little bit more expensive, but nothing crazy.

Really good food, like home-made, the waitress in glasses was super nice and she helped me with a home-made hazelnut liquor produced by her grandpa, which is not for sale! :) I had a hake fillet and blitva which were very tasty. The interior of the restaurant is really attractive too. The area is quiet. I do recommend!
