Horseshoe Bay Cove

Mentioned on
Beach
Horseshoe Bay Cove in Bermuda is a must-see destination with breathtaking limestone bluffs and pristine ocean views along its idyllic South Shore beaches. Visitors can explore the beauty of Astwood Park, South Shore Park, Jobsons Cove, Chaplin Bay and famous Horseshoe Bay Beach. The stunning natural scenery is a photographer's dream come true with bucket-list worthy attractions that require no filter or photoshop to capture their unfiltered beauty.
A must see in Bermuda. Chair and umbrella rental was $10 per item. They do sell food and drinks.
Fadia Hoosein — Google review
Tiny beach on the right side of Horseshoe Bay beach. Good for family with small kids because looks like a pool. There are absolutely no waves and water is warm and clean. We used natural shade from trees and rocks.
Natalia Med — Google review
I’ve grown up in Bermuda, and yes, this beach is GORGEOUS. Very safe for kids as far as beaches go and you can rent chairs/you can get food, which is cool because these don’t apply to many other public beaches in Bermuda. HOWEVER, it can get very busy in the summer because this is the beach all the cruise ships get told to go to etc. Definitely a must to go here once, maybe twice, but make sure to check out all of the other beautiful beaches Bermuda has to offer!
Lauren Smyth — Google review
Horseshoe Bay beach and the surrounding coves and beaches are bucket-list worthy. To be honest, most of Bermuda's beaches are 'that gorgeous'. No photoshop just #unfiltered beauty. Go and see for yourself.
Jill Dill — Google review
An amazing beach with pink sand and beautiful waters. Very scenic and a great place to spent the day. Went there during a cruise. Locals in Bermuda were super friendly. Taxi was 32 each way fro the port. When worth it.
Peter Pereira — Google review
One of the best beaches in the world. Umbrella and chair rentals are $20 each as of Aug 2023. Can bring your own chairs and shade. Explore both ends of the beach for interesting rock formations.
Will Kang — Google review
I visited in December but water was not too cold. It's the best area of scenic beauty I've seen in Bermuda. I took a bus #7 from Hamilton bus terminal and 20 minutes to reach.
John Im — Google review
Absolutely stunning beach with a food shack / bar and umbrellas and chair rentals available.
Christopher Watson — Google review
One of the most beautiful, stunning and romantic beach in Bermuda!
Melissa Naja — Google review
Transportation to the beach from our hotel was seamless and stress-free. It was a clean, well-maintained beach. The path to the beach was so well constructed. Parking was available and rest rooms were very clean. Recycle bins were located in great spots. The waves were also much tamer for the time of the year and the view was spectacular. See for yourself.
Cynthia Osiemi — Google review
This place was great. The sand was so soft and there were no shells cutting up your feet on this beach. If you walk on the jogging path you will get to a cliff with crazy views. Seen in the pictures I posted below. Highly recommend going to this place the water is also really calm great for little kids
Allinton Alexander — Google review
I came here so many times and always enjoyed the famous pink sand and turquoise waters. loved the waves, beach also has life guards there it was never crazy busy unless you have a cruise ship docking on the island and a load of them want to enjoy the beach. then it's get crowded but other than that hands down, what a beautiful beach. Beach has a grill with some good burgers and stuff at great prices, be aware they close the grill sometime 2 PM.
Martin Egger — Google review
This is so beautiful beach! I love this beach with cool pink sand and good snorkeling. 😍. We come to Bermuda by cruise ship and had there 3 amazing days. We went to the beach every day. It is pretty easy to get the beach from the dockyard. We went by public transport and taxi. It takes 20 min and 5-7$ for one person to get the beach.
Natalia Lvova — Google review
Wonderful and fun beach with pink sand, shallow water, coves around the beach, decent space to sun tan. In winter the bar and eating options are not available. Water is clear and good for snorkeling. The coast goes to long bay beach, jobsons cove as well. One of the better beaches in Bermuda hence busy in summers.
abhinav uniyal — Google review
Great place to visit! It's beautiful and easy to het to. The restaurant offers good and quick take out food and the bar is also right there on the beach! The area is safe and the staff is friendly! The water is Crystal clear and blue! It's nice to cool down in the water or go for a walk along the amazingly beautiful shore line! There is a bus stop that can take you from one part of the island to the other! And is relatively cost effective! It might get busy on the beach but the area is so big that it doesn't bother that much!

Gibb's Hill Lighthouse

Mentioned on
Sights & Landmarks
Lighthouses
The operational cast-iron lighthouse, constructed in 1846, permits visitors to climb up 185 steps to reach the summit. The Gibbs Hill Lighthouse stands tall at 117 feet and provides a breathtaking view of Bermuda. It is located near a bus stop, and after a brief walk, tourists can relish the beautiful panorama from the base of the lighthouse.
We took the bus and the driver dropped us off at the closest stop. It was a short 10-minute walk to go to the base of the lighthouse. The scenic view at the base was already worth the visit. The steps up to the top were not difficult. Take advantage of each landing spot and read a little history on your way up. The panoramic view at the top is incredible. We all can post pictures for you to see. But you really have to visit the lighthouse and experience it yourself. And at $2.50, this attraction is an absolute bargain.
Peter Lo — Google review
Lovely views here even if you don't actually go up the zillions of steps to the top of the lighthouse. If you do go up, take the bare minimum with you. Carrying snorkel gear up all the stairs was not the best idea! Hold the railing up and down. When we got to the top, we didn't want to go out on the very narrow platform. I'll share the view from the door for those who can't or don't want to go up. If you go out, enjoy the 360° views. But maybe tuck your hat somewhere safe first because it's breezy up there! As others have said, there's a nice little gift shop here where you also pay $2.50 entrance fee (if you want to visit the lighthouse itself).
World Owner Fog — Google review
The lighthouse is beautiful with a wonderful view. You don't have to climb to the top to get a beautiful view of the island. One of our group (me!) went up in the lighthouse. It was HOT so be prepared. But it was so worth the view from the top (and very affordable to enter) See more: https://youtu.be/vmxKSTMKNN0?si=jnLaj6-AxQ5AiXd4

Loved it. It quite the hike but it’s a good burn on your legs. 😉
Chris — Google review
I had a great time. Climbed the steps and it was not bad at all. There were 8 flights but fear not there are resting landings in between. The view from on top was breathtaking. It was worth the visit
Trina Dee — Google review
This is a great lighthouse! Our tour guide gave us 10 minutes here, which was not enough time. Hopefully you will have longer so that you can hike to the top of the lighthouse. It cost less than $3 USD. There’s a well-stocked gift store with reasonable prices. A short-sleeved adult tee shirt is about $16. There are clean bathrooms here as well. Although this was part of our tour, I would highly recommend a stop.

Such a great area for your first time to Bermuda. It really shows you how pretty it is, and there is a little gift shop to remember your time here. This was one of my favorite areas to visit since it was pretty quiet.
Hobby Experiment — Google review
This is a great lighthouse with spectacular views of the island. You can pay a small fee to walk to the top, 180+ stairs. You are even allowed to walk out onto the small observation deck atop the lighthouse that encircles it.
Maurice McInnis — Google review
Be sure to visit this landmark, take in the panoramic island views and get a little more of Bermuda's history. It's inexpensive. The stairs are broken up with frequent landings and windows. The lamp in the lighthouse and views at the top are very cool, and so is the breeze. It's also a short walk to Henry XIII restaurant, which overlooks the coastline and where I hear the Bermuda Chowder is excellent.
Julie Wright — Google review
Awesome place to see! Only a couple dollars to go up top and see all of Bermuda from this breathtaking view! Super cool to go up top and see everything. There are quite a bit of stairs but totally worth it!
Ben — Google review
Due to the lighthouse being painted, we were unable to go inside of it. But just to look up at it & knowing that it is still guiding ships, it's awe inspiring!! And there is also a cute little gift shop to explore.
Lynne Traxler — Google review
Very small but cute place. Light house with a little gift shop. Reasonable prices. The bathroom was available. Only a few $US to enter and walk up the light house. Nice views, even if you don't go up.
Nd D — Google review
After a brisk 5-7min walk uphill, we've arrived at the base of the lighthouse. It's 185 steps and 6 landings in total! With a fantastic 360 degree vantage point of Bermuda. Btw, per person ticket costs $2.50.
johnny seto — Google review
Gibb's Hill is a great stop any time in Bermuda. Great views and a little bit of fitness to boot. Would like to see more of a maritime, geographical or island history museum experience at each landing to break up the climb but either way, a terrific view from a working lighthouse.
Sean Kirkland — Google review
This lighthouse is a rare cast iron one. The views are amazing. There is a lot of information about the lighthouse and construction of it. You can even go to the very top and do a 360 walk around on good weather days. The lighthouse keeper is very friendly and knowledgeable. The souvenir store has very reasonable prices and a great selection to choose from.

The perfume oils are some of the best quality oils worldwide. I receive so many compliments when I wear them. I have been buying these since 2012 and am still very happy.
Sheila Gomez — Google review
Today, my vacation adventure took me to Gibb's Hill Lighthouse. Climbing the winding staircase, I couldn't contain my excitement as I caught glimpses of the breathtaking panoramic views through the peak hole square windows.  The sights that awaited me at the top were nothing short of spectacular.  The lighthouse stands tall, offering commanding views of turquoise waters that sparkle in the sunlight.  The views also showcased the picturesque white-roofed houses dotting the landscape, adding a touch of charm to the scene. Gibb's Hill Lighthouse is more than just a vantage point—it's a beacon of history.  Opening its doors in 1846, it witnessed the passage of time and the evolution of Bermuda. This experience was undoubtedly one for the books, immersing myself in the magnificence of Bermuda.  When you visit, @Bermuda, this is a must-see attraction. The cost is only $2.50 for 185 steps for gorgeous views.

Church Bay in Bermuda is a serene inlet that boasts a renowned spot for diving, a compact and sandy shoreline, and an attractive small garden. It is an extraordinary retreat that provides privacy and seclusion to its visitors.
The prettiest beach I have ever visited. Great snorkeling with many views of foot-long rainbow parrotfish. Warm water, calm tides, clear, great wildlife. There is nothing wrong and everything right with this beach.
Tie Dough — Google review
The sand here is fine and soft almost like at Horseshoe Bay Beach. Large rocks at the surface of the sand when wading into the ocean (hurt my feet). Lots of ants in the sand along with another larger black bug that pinch at your skin. Not busy, so it’s nice and private if that’s what you’re looking for.
tai chang — Google review
Had an amazing experience free diving here. Swam with a couple reef sharks out deep, school of jacks and a nice assortment of reef fish on the structure about 100 yards out.
Mike May — Google review
The beach is not clean, but fortunately everyone is helping by bringing what they find to the trash. It’s impossible to go if the ocean is rocky as the waves would push you away. It’s a great place otherwise to snorkel.
Jean-Philippe Cyr — Google review
This is our favorite snorkeling beach! Never disappoints!
Karen Tuman — Google review
Amazing little hideaway. Private and secluded 💯
Vincent Vitolo — Google review
We saw dozens of fish the size of giant platter plates, brightly colored. It drops off kind of fast and it got a little rough for us. Well worth snorkeling here.
Angela Allemang — Google review
We have to say this is one of the most amazing little beaches to go to. Amazing sand. amazing waters, fish everywhere and so amazing to snorkel and swim. If you get a chance go see this beach and one more thing it is not that busy of a beach. Somedays we were the only people there.

Restaurant
Port O' Call Restaurant is a top dining spot in Hamilton, offering a stunning view of the harbor from its location on Front Street. Visitors can enjoy a diverse menu featuring sushi, steak, and seafood. The restaurant's friendly and attentive staff, such as manager Mihai and waiter Martin, contribute to the enjoyable atmosphere. Guests recommend trying the delicious cocktails and popular cheesecake for dessert.
What a great place!!! Firstly, we had an amazing waiter named Martin who was attentive to our every need. He made our dinner much more enjoyable and we appreciate all that he did for us. The atmosphere was great. We got there for a 6 o’clock dinner and were called immediately to our seats. The appetizers and entrees were all unbelievable!! I started with scallops and pork belly and my wife had a goat cheese soufflé. Dinner was just as amazing. I had Red Hind which was delicious but my wife’s dinner stole the show. She had what is known as guinea chick (spiny lobster) which was awesome!! I highly recommend that dish!! We had a nice bottle of Masi which didn’t break the bank and topped it off with a chocolate lava cake for dessert. Martin dressed up the dessert with a little anniversary sign which showed his attention to detail. Jordan the manager came by to make sure everything was to our liking. He talked with us for a bit and made sure our experience was perfect. It was a great night and will definitely back when we come back to Bermuda for another visit.
Anthony Vecchia — Google review
My mother and I stopped in for an impromptu dinner to which we were promptly seated by who I assume was the manager. Everything started great but quickly went down hill, from the service to the food. First we weren’t sure who our server was and he never formally introduced himself as our server to the table…I still do not know what his name is. We put in our order of appetizers, salad (to share), and main (to share). Our appetizers were not great, specifically the scallops and pork belly, the pork belly tasted as if it had been cooked hours earlier then left sitting out until it was time to plate, and our salad course was completely forgotten! It was only when I asked about it did our server realize/apologize. Our main was the Tomahawk steak which was meant to share…as someone who has eaten cuisine around the world specifically in places like Buenos Aires, this was prepared very poorly and honestly didn’t taste very high quality. To make up for for the missed salad course we ordered desert, I had the molten chocolate cake which I had to send back twice due to the center being cold, my mother liked her Apple dessert okay, she didn’t love the chocolate crumble that garnished the ice cream. I would NOT recommend this place at all, while the manager did remove the dessert there was just ultimately too much wrong with the experience for the price. There are far better options on the island!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Delightful Culinary Journey with a Spectacular Hogfish Specialty From the moment I stepped into Port O'Call, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance of the restaurant strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal spot for both casual and special occasions. The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the special hogfish dish. It was cooked to perfection, with flavors that transported me straight to the heart of Bermuda's culinary excellence. The fish was fresh, tender, and perfectly seasoned, showcasing the chef's expertise and the local seafood's quality. Accompanying the meal, the wine selection at Port O'Call was impressive. With a variety of choices from around the globe, each bottle seemed carefully selected to complement the menu. The staff was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations, enhancing the overall dining experience. While the service was generally good, there were moments when it felt a bit slow, particularly during peak hours. However, the friendly staff and their attention to detail more than made up for this. Overall, my visit to Port O'Call was a delightful experience. The restaurant's commitment to quality, both in its cuisine and in its service, shines through. It's a gem in Bermuda for seafood lovers and anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for its hogfish specialty and curated wine list.

Great service. We were able to order off the Port o Call menu and the Pearl Sushi restaurant (upstairs and also delicious) on the same check. Best food we’ve had in Bermuda and possibly the best cheesecake I’ve ever had.

Delicious food. Great service. Highly recommend the cheesecake and the cocktail Corrupted is a surprisingly sweet and zesty drink you must try. Steak frites is a great bar menu option that is delicious and yet fulling without having to sit in the dining area. The parmasean truffle fries are another great bar snack

The best sushi restaurant in Hamilton!! My husband and I were on vacation visiting from Boston, and we sat on the upstairs patio for dinner and a beautiful view of the sunset! I was craving sushi and my husband was craving steak, we came to the right place! The manager Mihai was really helpful recommending from the menu and checking in on us! Very friendly and fun atmosphere! We had scallops, fish, steak, and the sushi platter! Dinner & cocktails were delicious, and then we had the popular cheesecake for desert!!! Definitely going to come back for another visit!! So good, Highly recommend!
Allysyn Cozma — Google review
Service was terrible, Food was mediocre, only part of the meal that was delicious was the cheesecake that was recommended by the general manager. Also the GM was a delight, compared to his staff who did not take our rink orders for 10 minutes and food came out cold. Other restaurants by this group such as Ruby Murry were a great experience but not Port O Call.
Kimberly Larkin — Google review
A fantastic meal! Calvina, our waitress was amazing both in service and in recommendations (and in personality!). The lamb, scallops, crudo, gnocchi, and cheesecake were out of this world. Run don’t walk here! Cocktails were also delicious.
Perry Kalmus — Google review
A special occasion calls for a special restaurant. There's a lively atmosphere for larger parties, but it's still comfortable for couples having intimate dinners. The food was delicious and carefully presented (hence the pictures!). Service was attentive, professional yet friendly. I was pleased to find meatless options among the main courses without having to wrangle something with the server or ending up with a salad. Nicely generous portions, too. First time having dinner at Port O Call. What took us so long?

Ocean Club offers a limited but delicious menu with great food options. The outdoor seating provides a lovely view of the pool, while the inside seating is comfortable and cozy. Despite some service hiccups, the well-prepared hot food makes up for it. The apple pie is a must-try and has been known to make visitors consider returning just for it. The Jasmine Lounge exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, offering something for everyone on the menu along with friendly and attentive staff.
While currently and maybe permanently closed, time will tell, this was a wonderful venue for parties and outdoor gatherings with the option to go inside if the weather was not favorable.

Limited selection but great food. The first time we sat outside which overlooked the pool. The food took a long time because our waiter lost our order. But when the food finally came out, it was hot and well prepared. The fish burger on brioche buns was very good as well as the french fries. Inside seating was very comfortable with cushions and sofa-like seats.

The food is ok but they have this amazing apple pie that I jokingly told my husband I would visit Bermuda just to have it. The warm apply pie wth the ice cream is amazing! My husband liked their flat pizza and my daughters ate the chicken fingers and banana split.

Recommended by Willowbank today to it’s guests like us noting that there was entertainment tonight. We were disappointed when we arrived to find out no music tonight . I had called the Hotel earlier and they confirmed music . We decided to still have dinner and Nahzjse placed us in a nice corner table .. too corner for Hazem our server who apparently had too many tables to serve as after the initial order forgot about us until I called Amitt who took care of us the rest of the evening. We enjoyed the guacamole and chips and coconut shrimp but the meatballs were disappointing . The crispy snapper was really good but they forgot to bring separate places. Thanks for Nahzjse taking our picture on our 43 Anniversary trip. She said music tomorrow but we will probably sample another restaurant in case they cancel entertainment again. Looks like a nice respite hotel .

Sat down for an hour to have tea at the Jasmine and read a book. You can't beat this view of south shore! The "South P" -as locals call it- is well visited by Bermudians because it makes us feel like we are on vacation! The staff are so welcoming and not a single detail is forgotten with regards to the decor. Always a great experience.

On a rare, chilly, gloomy day in Bermuda Jasmine was the perfect cozy, comfort food venue. It recently had an interior refresh which looks good. We got a couch and table right next to the fireplace and ordered the Jasmine Signature Pizza. It was outstanding! Best pizza I’ve had in Bermuda — ever. Order it.

Devil's Isle Cafe is a popular spot known for its amazing service, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, including Denise and Maks, are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The cafe offers a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While it may be considered pricey by some, many find the quality of the food and drinks to be well worth it.
The best food we had in hamilton. Menu has lot of options. We went on a Sunday so brunch was the way to go. Staff is friendly and efficient. If you are downtown it is worth looking at the menu plus they have a little deck outside

Great spot, one of my favorites in Hamilton. So far I’ve only had their breakfast/brunch menu. But everything has been spectacular. All the options sound great and I plan to try more. One more, the place is smaller inside and can get rather busy, so reservations are recommended. I’ll definitely be back.

We loved our lunch at Devil’s Isle Cafe while visiting Bermuda! The food was fresh and flavorful (pumpkin focaccia was amazing) and it was the best latte I had on the island! Our waitress was funny and sweet and helped us with our selections. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend!

Totally disappointed by our burger take out and misleading information provided. Note sides are not included in burger price even if you are told they are, you will be charged extra. Burger bread was stale and hard to bite in. No arugula but spinach instead and a soggy side of truffle fries... neither of us liked anything we had tonight

An expensive spot, but WORTH IT. Great food and drinks. I had the nourish bowl with their lemon cashew dressing and my fiancé had the roast lamb sandwich on raisin bread. Both were absolutely delicious. The cold brew coffee old fashioned was well made in both taste and presentation! We didn’t have a reservation, so we had to sit at the bar, just as a heads up!

We got this recommended to us by a local for breakfast and liked it so much we came back for a late lunch. But they serve breakfast thru dinner. Great food, beverages and cocktails. If you're in Hamilton give it a try. I know we will be back. And the Lamb Burger is to die for. Amazing.

This cafe was our safe space during a challenging vacation. We came here a few times and every single time the service, food and atmosphere was amazing. Thank you Denise and Maks! They made us feel so taken care of. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, like a home-cooked gourmet meal. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner once each during our visit and each menu had great options. I have a lot of food allergies and restrictions (dairy, gluten, sesame, poppy, nuts, shellfish) and they were able to accommodate everything. Thank you for helping us make our trip significantly better.

Prices were very reasonable! I’m definitely coming back!

Art Mel's Spicy Dicy is a hidden gem in Hamilton, Bermuda, known for serving the best fish sandwiches on the island. Despite being off the beaten path, this tiny local spot has garnered praise from food critics and visitors alike. The fried fish sandwich, served on homemade raisin bread with coleslaw, is a must-try. The friendly staff and sincere service add to the charm of this local eatery.
We are foodies and there is no comparison to Art Mel’s Spicy Dicey. Fish Sandwich Regular It’s a out of way local place in Hamilton Bermuda. “Secret” up in back streets if Hamilton Bermuda. I true vibe of local. Hamilton people in their neighborhood. Can’t eat there but hang out on stoop or go to local park. Sandwich is unbelievable fresh homemade raisin bread thick fresh (yes raisin bread ). With coleslaw. It’s a must believe me !!!

Wow. We braved a rainstorm to get to Art Mel’s given the rave reviews about their Fish Sandwich. Art Mel’s does not disappoint. With friendly service and generous portions, one sandwich was perfect for the two of us. Make sure you get coleslaw on the sandwich with the raisin bread. Place is cash only and standing room only. Parking is out front on the street. A phenomenal Bermuda experience. I can’t have a fish sandwich from anywhere else.

A hidden gem. The way I was greeted and treated at Art Mel’s immediately won me over. They took hospitality to a new level on my trip to Bermuda, and I will be forever grateful. On top of that, the fish sandwich was extremely satisfying. Experiences like this are hard to come by in life. Don’t miss this opportunity.

Tiny little place in Hamilton that is worth seeking out. We walked here from the ferry, but I don’t recommend doing that. We took a taxi back! Amazing fried fish sandwich served on homemade raisin bread. I know what you’re thinking—raisin bread?? This raisin bread was fantastic! It really enhanced the flavor of this extremely large, fresh fish sandwich. Service was top notch and the staff was sincere and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Raul Caso — Google review
My husband and I spent time walking around Hamilton on our recent visit to Bermuda. We tend to go off the beaten path to find the best of what each city or town offers. In this case, it was this local place and it’s fried fish sandwich on cinnamon raisin bread. We met a lovely woman on our way in and my husband struck up a conversation with her. She introduced us to the other lovely women who create this wondrous thing behind the scenes. Hubby then realized he had no cash to pay for our sandwich, and lovely woman #1, whose name escapes me, paid for us to have an incredible experience. We could not thank her enough. She even refused to allow us to send her money. She was a good soul. But, I digress. We walked hurriedly to a nearby bus stop to get back to town, and found a park bench where we ate one of the most delicious sandwiches of our lives. The number of birds who suddenly surrounded us were apparently all too familiar with this sandwich. We at first didn’t want to share; however, the beauty of the park, the birds, and the incredibly kind “island way” made us want to share in the sheer delight of it all Go. Soon. PS: The home made raisin bread will knock your socks off. @guyfieri

Hands down the best fish sandwich in Bermuda! We also tried another sandwich in town that people had suggested, but it was nothing compared to this. My friend & I shared 1 sandwich. We got it all dressed with LT + onions w/Hotsauce. I'm allergic to fish & I gobbled it up. It was so worth the aftermath! 🤣 11/10 recommend! It was delicious

Art Mels makes THEE absolute, best fish sandwich on the island of Bermuda. I like mine with coleslaw, tarter sauce, and hot sauce on raisun bread. The portion size is huge, so bring your appetite with you. (Just so you know, it's cash and carry.)😋

Went to get the “best fish sandwich” on the island…. It was not. No one greeted us as we entered. Shop was empty. One person in back finally came out and asked what we wanted after we greeted her with a good afternoon. We ordered the fish sandwich and fries. The drink fridge in front area was empty. After about 20 minute wait we received our sandwiches. Fish was fishy (not fresh), was not abundant like other reviews and pictures, fries were limp and not crispy. Overall not worth the wait!!!

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life, anywhere on this planet. You can't go to Bermuda and not pop in here for a carryout lunch. Cash only, no tables, so plan to eat in your car, eat standing talking to the locals or the awesome people behind the counter if it's not too busy... Or carry out over to the Crystal Caves or back to the beach or a bench in Hamilton. The sandwich is perfectly fried fish, not greasy, lovely and moist with a crispy batter. Served on excellent locally-made raisin bread, you've got to have it with all the trimmings, including hot sauce. Their fries are good too, but I usually don't have room for them. Wash it all down with a cold ginger beer and you have the quintessential Bermuda lunch.

Now, THAT'S A PROPER FISH SANDWICH!! Nothing fancy, a fresh made coleslaw, fresh baked raisin bread from a local bakery, fresh made tartar sauce, and of course, freshly cooked fillet of FRESH FISH! A true hidden gem in the wonderful island of Bermuda. Keep up the great work and continue serving your wonderful and tasty food!!

Barracuda Grill Seafood & Chops offers exceptional service and a cozy atmosphere, making it a great choice for a memorable dining experience. The menu features an impressive selection of seafood and chops, with dishes like lobster troubadour and octopus receiving high recommendations. The wine selection is varied and impressive, complementing the delicious food perfectly. Despite being on the pricier side, the quality of the food and service makes it worth every penny.
The service was excellent here! We did not have reservations but were seated immediately. Our waitress was on top of everything, taking our order, bringing drinks, timing appetizer and main course. It made for a great night out. We shared the scallops as an appetizer. There were only 3 but they were delicious. My husband had the lobster troubadour and I had the octopus. I would recommend both dishes. They were so good we kept taking bites of each other's. A bit on the pricier side but you won't be disappointed.

Food solid as usual but place is tired, peaked a dozen years back maybe? Needs face lift. Do like all their establishments under their umbrella.

So great to see this place still open, after visiting a few times between 2010-2015. Wonderful food, with a really cool selection of fish. The atmosphere is very dark and cozy. I have been to Bermuda 4 times, and have tried to stop here every time. Absolutely phenomenal.

Absolutely exceptional seafood with a lot of choice on the menu. The wine selection was also pretty impressive and varied. There wasn’t anything we had that we didn’t absolutely love and to top it all off the team running the restaurant were so lovely to chat to. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Against my wishes, we came here for Valentines dinner. We haven’t had great luck the past 3 times, but my husband believes in giving chances. I feel like the menu is not for everyone. There isn’t much to choose from. It’s very expensive and the food is basic. We both got the steak, which I cannot understand why fancy places will only have a New York Strip or Sirloin on the menu. To me those are not fancy cuts of meat. I am very plain so I got the steak with just fries. My husband got the steak exactly how it came and yet they charged us the same price. My husband’s appetizer was soo small it did not do anything for him. The dessert menu is also small and doesn’t have a variety.

Dining with friends is always a joy, but when you dine at a place where the food is delicious the service excellent and the atmosphere comfortable it make the food that more delicious and the experience more memorable.

Excellent service and wondeful food. Ambience was very nice. All 6 of us moved our food. Especially enjoyed our server, Olga, who was fantastic.

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the seating was comfortable. Located right in the centre of Hamilton.
