Authentic Italian restaurant inside the train station, upstairs. Good food : follow their daily menu recommendation! Good wine : we ordered 2/4 L house wine. Excellent.

We had a great meal with friendly service and very reasonable prices. My stuffed pasta with a porcini sauce topped with fresh grated truffle was delicious and my wife loved her chicken breast with a butter sage sauce. We saw many large portioned plates of food going by to smiling customers which made for a happy ambiance. The meal was finished with two of the best macchiatos we've had in Italy. My one personal regret is that I would order a specific wine. The house red was fine for a 5€ for a half liter but a great meal like that deserved a better wine, ok another regret is we didn't have room for dessert because they looked delicious.

Excellent food! Slow service (Im an American! Lol) thats ok. Its totally worth it. The Tagliatelle was phenomenal! Prosecco wine, Chicken breast....my Italian stinks but the owner speaks English and she jumps in to help which is great...good stuff

A hidden little gem, nestled in the upper floors of the train station The staff was extremely lovely, service was attentive.It appears that the owner is the only person who can take the food orders, so depending on how busy restaurant is, you may need to wait a bit. But she is quite helpful in explaining the menu and offering suggestions. Pasta offerings are local cuisine and pizza is grand, both in taste and size. We also tried the grilled meat dish...generous, flavourful and cooked to perfection. Excellent value. We went twice dusting our 4 day stay in Assisi.

Best food I had in Italy I would say. My mother who has never had any foreign food (we are from India) was having trouble liking the food in Italy but even she loved the food here. The staff are extremely helpful and they just make you feel so happy to be in their presence. The lady who took our order and did billing was so nice she will always be in my memories of Italy. Will definitely visit if I go to Italy again!

I've been to the train station probably 100 times in my 6 years here in Assisi. Our visit to 'il ristorante' La Bella Stazione on Sunday was not only the first time I've esten there, but also the first time I realized where it was, upstairs from the train station. The people were very welcoming and kind, as was the service they offered. They have a diverse menu, but I opted for a pizza and it did not disappoint. They sell ceramic items and gifted the ladies in our group with a sample. They also served us chocolate, 'fatto a casa'. (homemade), which they also have to us. Considering the their reasonable prices, I was wondering how much profit they realized from our group of six?! A very enjoyable evening! I'm sure we sul be back!

Warm and friendly. A joy to eat home cooked food in a homely environment. The owner presented me with a surprise gift of from her ceramic collection that I admired, which only evoked more gratitude for their totally delectable and loving generosity! My husband and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you appreciate food that also nourishes the soul!

We came here for dinner. We were three and had one appetizer, one soup and three primi piatti. The food was very good. The Legumes and cereals soup was a very nice surprise. The Truffle Omelette and the Tortelloni with Parmesan fondue and truffle scent were our favorite dishes. The staff was very kind and the ambient was also very nice.

They werent customer friendly, when we asked for vam and cheese they said they already cleaned the machines even tho there was still crumbs on it. Disgusting first time coming to Assisi and already dealt with this type of situation 😠. Dont come if you are a tourist beacuse they only serve people from their country THEY HATE TOURIST

The place is very good, the menu is absolutely rich but surely not cheap. While it might seem to be a tourist trap being in front of a gorgeous church, we were rather surprised by its quality, from starters to the desserts. The mixed starter with the testo bread looked awesome!

Ticks all the boxes food service and atmosphere the ribs were top and the brownie. Also the grlled platter. And we love the waiter Francesco he is Saint Francesco.

Easy restaurant next to the Porziuncola. Dishes are simple but tasty. Well priced as well. Staff is kind and helpful. Must try is the hand cut ham.

I had a terrible experience. Arriving close to midnight, I contacted the hotel in advance with my itinerary and train arrival time, and they said a late check-in was no problem. But when I got to the hotel, it was locked with all the lights off, and there was no answer to the repeated doorbells and phone calls (what if there were an emergency at the hotel or to the guests?). Other hotels were all closed after midnight, and it was scary and frustrating to be left in the dark street with no place to go. Fortunately, one hotel answered my phone call, and then I had to walk a long distance in rain with heavy luggage. It was after 1AM, when I finally entered a room to rest. The hotel provided a confusing excuse that seemed to mean that there was a mistake. I am sure that it was a midtake, but the "mistake" violated the very basic trust of the guest and, more seriously, could have endangered female travelers. I advise against staying at this hotel.

My fiance and i stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful and our room had an amazing view from our patio. The hotel has a delicious restaurant that you must try and seemed to be popular among the locals. The staff provided us with a delicious complimentary breakfast and offered to pack us breakfast for our early check out. They went over and beyond and we were very happy to have stayed at their hotel to explore the beautiful city of Assisi. Love from Vancouver, Canada.

Perfect place to stay when in Assisi. A bus 4 minutes away walking and train as well. Rooms are modern and nice. The restaurant has a large selection of authentic Umbrian Food and staff is ready to help you whenever you need it.

Fantastic rooftop garden, open late, and great food for a great price. Listen to their recommendations, they know what they're talking about. We especially loved the local pasta with the subtle truffle.

The experience was absolutely awful. Staff was practically non-existent. The staff we did meet was rude. No breakfast whatsoever. DO NOT STAY HERE! When we arrived at the hotel, at around 7PM on March 8, the door was locked and no one answered. We inquired at the restaurant next door, which is owned by the hotel, and a man came and opened the hotel for us. After taking us inside, he simply asked if we had a reservation, and after I told him we had two rooms he gave us the keys to two of the rooms. He never even asked me my name, proof of reservation, or much less my passport (which he is required to get by law I believe). Then, after returning to the hotel from dinner at about 9:15PM, we heard VERY loud noise coming from the Hotel Da Elide restaurant downstairs. A party was going on, complete with DJ and dancing, right below our rooms! Needless to say, it was impossible to sleep. So I went to the restaurant, and found the owner of the hotel. She was visibly intoxicated, and was very rude. She only said she could try to turn the music down a little. If she did turn it down we didn't notice, and regardless did not get rest until it stopped, after 11:30PM. Throughout this entire time, there was no one at the desk to help. In the morning, to make matters worse, there was NO FREE BREAKFAST, as was advertised when I booked the hotel.

Fabulous butique hotel with great rooms and super design located a few minute walk from the Assisi train station. Also houses a fantastic restaurant.

Food was super. Staff was super. I mentioned that I had an intolerance to gluten and they brought the best gluten free bread I've ever had. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating and watching the cars go by. I highly recommend the risotto, fish and potatoes. Wish I had a restaurant like this in my town.

We had dinner here yesterday and I must say everything about this place is great EVERYTHING. The food, ambience, service all worthy of 5 stars and more. It’s a family run setup and they really put their heart into this place and it shows across everything they do. Just brilliant!
