Side

Side is a resort town on Turkey’s southern Mediterranean coast. An ancient port city, it's known for long beaches and Greco-Roman ruins. In the center are the remains of the 2nd-century Antique Theater, which seated up to 15,000. The white marble columns of the Hellenistic Temple of Athena stand near the harbor. Other sites are sprinkled throughout, with finds housed at the Side Museum, a restored Roman bath complex.

Sights & Landmarks
Side Ancient City, meaning "pomegranate," is a charming resort town with modern elements intertwined with ancient ruins. The city was first settled in the 7th century BC and gained fame for its involvement in slave trading. Despite being crowded during peak season, it offers a quieter and reflective experience off-season. Visitors can explore the well-preserved ruins of Side, such as the Temple of Apollo, Amphitheater, and Ancient City Walls.
A fantastic place to visit and wonder round lots of photo opportunities. Shops and gifts shops a plenty on main strip down to harbour area, boat trips from harbour tour and private ones . There's a museum on the right as you walk to side old town area from the bus station recommend the walk not to difficult. Stopped a couple of times at Ruby's side for a drink near to swing price's are in lira and had a nice relaxing beer . Overall a great place to visit plus easy to get to by the bus service in the area.

Very interesting and large historical site. A good place to visit, by walking through the area and have a rest close to the harbor or Apollon temple for a cay or coffee. Beware of some self named guides they tell you they will show you some special places. They just try to take you off the tracks and push you and to give money to them. I would not recommend to go there during lunch time. Overall a place to visit.
Christian Kunst — Google review
Beautiful place. Free entrance (except the theatre). At least an hour or two hours of walk. Then the city where are shops with suveneirs. I was so shocked how large the place is. I appreciate all the development that happens there.
Pavla Pluto — Google review
Although now heavily commercialised, the city is wonderful! It’s got lots of ancient ruins on show and they are constantly digging for more! They have put glass floors in certain points so you can view the remains through them whilst visiting.
Luke Clarke — Google review
Side old town is full of ancient ruins so beautifully preserved. Lots of shops and cafes too. We visited at night and in morning (I preferred the quite morning where I could hear the sea and the birds). Beautiful mosque right in middle of it all. Needed a ticket for amphitheatre but everything else can be seen as you walk around.
Amina Duale — Google review
Beautiful part of town. The ruins are everywhere! They are on display in the roads. The resteraunts are very nice. Definitely go to the museum as well!

Make sure to visit Side Ancient City, museum and the theatre. Must see place. Little town is also very cute to walk. Shops and food stores are everywhere.

The well-preserved ruins, including the impressive Temple of Apollo, the grand theater, and the ancient agora, are a testament to Side’s importance in antiquity. Exploring these ruins provides a unique opportunity to connect with the past and appreciate the architectural marvels of this ancient city. The location right by the sparkling Mediterranean Sea adds to the charm. The sight of the sea and the ancient ruins harmoniously coexisting is a sight to behold, making it a picturesque spot for photos.
Tansu Elias — Google review
This is an ancient Roman city that is well maintained and well designed to spend a half to one full day at. You walk through some Roman ruins, then walk into an old market area where you can buy snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. Next is the sea and some green area, and one can take a boat ride here or sit in a cafe or restaurant for a bite. Next is more Roman ruins, and finally you walk through a path with the sea on one side and houses and boutique hotels on the other side. The place overall is well-served with ample paid parking, restaurants, cafes, and shops. Most of the place is accessed for free, but the museums incur an entrance fee.
Fahd Batayneh فهد بطاينة — Google review
We visited there yesterday, completely by accident, as we were looking for a car park and thought to visit the beach! Parking was free, so we took a walk and got on the small tram running from the car park for 4 lira. We passed by extensive ruins and some of them were still under excavation. The other end of the tram leads into a shopping area, which is packed with tourists and restaurants, but throughout there are sections of glass pavements, covering even more ruins which lead right down to the harbour. A facsinating place to look around, there was obviously a large town on this site in ancient times. An unexpected delight.
Rebecca Parkin — Google review
founded/Create by Greek settler 700BC and then 67BC brought under control by the Romans tells an amazing story / part of history reflected in such a small place. Definitely a must when you are visiting turkey. Mind all sellers - they cheat you with my rates Lira/EUR and the good prices. Very impressive to see what kind of buildings already have been produced two thousand years ago.
Thomas Felber — Google review
A great place to visit. Take the land train into the town from the entrance and back up for just 50c or equivalent in Lira. Plenty of shops, bars and cafés Great historical place to visit and see. Very flat so also great for the elderly if there are any 👍 I would advise allowing 4-5 hours to see and do everything.

Side Ancient City - A Hidden Gem Amidst the Buzz Side Ancient City is a true gem that manages to capture the essence of history while avoiding overwhelming crowds. Despite its popularity, the site never felt overly crowded, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace. It's worth noting that the general pricing at Side Ancient City can be quite high. To make the most of your visit, it may be wise to grab a meal before arriving at the site. However, fret not, as there are excellent restaurants nearby that offer pick-up services, ensuring you won't go hungry during your exploration. With its captivating ambiance and convenient dining options, Side Ancient City promises an enchanting experience that seamlessly blends history and culinary delights.

Lovely place to go got loads of history the ruins are in fairly good nick it's mostly free but if you go into the amphitheatre you have to pay bit dear but worthwhile you cam emerse yourself and think of all the beast fight and gladiator that happen there was great the other sites were nearly as good but free the walk down to the old harbour lots of shops and restaurants ,also the harbour you can get boat trips at good prices then at the bottom is appoll temple which is worth a look all in all a very good and interesting place would recommend getting a map from tourist centre .

Side Ancient City is a historical and touristic area that attracts the tourists. Side, itself is beautiful place with its old town and historical background. It is full of culture and a role model of old civilizations. It is strongly recommended that tourists must visit this historical place.

A beautiful modern town created in the place of an ancient city. If you can add a couple of extra days in your Turkey itinerary, please spend that time here in this small but picturesque town full of energy as well as calmness. You can book a hotel and stay in the hotels inside, roam around, shop, do water sports, sun bathe, relax on the beaches, swim in the sea, have great food and wine in the restaurants.
Dalim Kumar Baidya — Google review
amazingly beautiful place. There are many excavated ancient buildings. Entrance to the amphitheater and museum costs 17 euros for foreigners and 60 liras for locals. after we paid we were told that the museum was closed, that is, for 17 euros we only visited the amphitheater. I think this is a scam. 17 euros for this amphitheater is VERY expensive.
Ксения Л. — Google review
Ruins of Roman Theatre are the most precious of the whole ancient city (you have to buy the tickets to get there, but it's worth it). Overall the territory of the city is big. Getting there from all parts of Side is very easy.

It is considered a must-visit location in Manavgat for those interested in Roman and Seljuk Turk civilizations as well as Macedonia of Alexander the Great to Byzantium empire. A must place to visit in Side, Manavgat. If you are planning to visit both Side antique theater and side museum you can get a combined ticket for 80 Turkish lira. You will find yourself in a time machine. From past to present, Romans to Seljuk Turks, Macedonia of Alexander the Great to Byzantium empire you will be able to find pretty much anything related to these old civilizations that has passed through this soils.

Great day out, fantastic location on beach front and it's so knowable to see for yourself the past of Turkey has to offer and very good on entry price . Toilets available on site and little cafe for ice cream and a drink. Please give it a try as this helps fund the museum to keep us educated of our past it's well worth the visit.....

Side Archaeological Museum was quite informative and introduced you to the Antique City. Some of the exhibits are really fascinating
Luke Clarke — Google review
A lot of artefacts from the Hellenistic and the Roman periods. Tickets for the amphitheatre and the museum can be bought at the entrance to the amphitheatre. Payment cards accepted. Due to renovation, the entrance to the museum was from the seafront (as in mid May 2023), clear street directions are in place. No waiting in line was necessary when visited in the morning of a weekday. More people in the harbour around lunchtime.
Paulius Pariokas — Google review
Very nice museum, recommended to see :)
Joanna W — Google review
This is a really cool museum with a collection of various relics discovered around Side. One noteworthy thing you will find here are the ancient Luwian scripts which have yet to be fully deciphered. The museum itself is quite beautiful and the exhibits are inside a set of restored old bath houses. If you are in Side this is a must.
Herman Singh — Google review
Well worth a visit. Not only the museum, the whole of Antique Side is built on Roman ruins .A number of the shops and outdoor areas have glass floors so you can see the ruins .

Small but very rich Museum! Never miss visiting it while visiting Side. The statues and pieces there complement the ones in Antalya Museum, so you must visit that one too, to get a full understanding of the history of the city. If you have the museum card, you can enter for free, otherwise you will pay 18 TL.
Asaad Al- Moudarres — Google review
Museum quite literally built into ancient Roman ruins 🤯🤯🤯 This museum is phenomenal with all of its sculptures, sarcophaguses, and paintings. What's even more impressive is this museum is housed inside of actual ruins! For me this is very unique and I've never seen anything quite like this before. Absolutely adore this idea though! This is recycling done right 🤜💥🤛 A few of the statues in here are more than world-class. You could say these are my favorite not just in Turkey buuuut in any museum I've ever seen anywhere else in the world 💓🗽💓 There are a few museum cats hanging out in the courtyard looking for some kitty love... One cat was on the prowl trying to snag a bird off one of the ancient statues outside. Not something you get to see everyday haha It was an admiral attempt by the kitten buuut a feeble one as the bird was toying with the cat letting him get close and then flying over to the next statue and the next and the next 🐦😼😜😂 Huge thumbs up to this museum 👍

We loved this museum. It's very compact and has easy access to all exhibits. It has indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Descriptions are multilingual and handy to grasp.

Manavgat Waterfall offers unobstructed views of the falls from paved riverfront walkways and provides picnic areas and snack bars. The attraction is well-maintained, with the option to explore both sides of the waterfall if visitors have their own mode of transportation. A path through fields leads to the opposite side, which is worth exploring. Parking is available for those who bring their car, with an entry fee of only 10 Turkish lira while children enter free.
Great Waterfall, amazing photo opportunities. You can pay to have tour photo with a parrot in front of the falls if you so wish. Multiple places to eat drink and sit, also reasonable priced. A good souvenir shop and Turkish ice-cream cart 🍦 Recommended 2-3 hours including a bite to eat.
Lani Wilkinson — Google review
Amazing place and well maintained. you can go to the main waterfall and then go to other side as well if you have your own convince. A route through the fields will take you to the opposite side of waterfall which is worth going and exploring. Parking is also available if you take your own car. Entry fee is just 10 Turkish lira and kids have free entry. On the route to other side, there is no much facilities there, so make sure your car and car tires are in good condition and you have enough water.
Jassim Ahmed — Google review
Small decent place. Nothing special, just a small waterfall, which is beautiful, plus the charges are not that high. Adults pay 20 Lira and kids up to 18 pay 10 Lira. Nice day out for the entire family, don't expect much.
Adnan Sherani — Google review
Visited as part of excursion. Overall nice but be aware it’s not Niagara falls! Area is clean and has gift shops, toilets, restaurants and ice cream place. There are photographers with parrots who will come over to take photos. You can use toilets but there is a small charge.
Harjinder Kaur — Google review
Pretty waterfall and reasonable entrance fee of just 10TL per person. Stopped off here when hiring a car for the day, to explore the local area. Don’t need longer than maybe half an hour to see it and take a few pictures. We arrived around 10am, which seemed perfect as it got busier as we left with lots of people on organised trips.
Stephanie Boulton — Google review
What a breathtaking place. If you can't take heat in summer best time to go and going to be more quiet would be evening. If you are on your holiday and you are in alanya you can hire a car and get there and I suggest to do that.
Aedrion Ooi — Google review
The waterfall it self is beautiful the entrance was just 1€ . Inside there is a souvenir shop a bar and a place where you can grab ice cream or a drink . I got my self a bubble tea it did cost 5€ . There is not much to view inside from my point of view but is still a great idea to see a waterfall and grab couple pictures . When we’ve been in august 2023 there was people with parrots the picture they say is 10€ but they do take a bit of pictures and for all is about 100€ or for 8 pictures 60€ you do get copies on your phone straight away and big pictures printed there straight away.
Monika Fryt — Google review
Waterfalls didn't make me to take off my pants over my head, although it's still nice thing to see, while visiting that area. A place that can offer souveneirs as well as some food and drinks. On the other hand i found it annoying when a photographer with a parrot tried several time to convince me to take a photo with the bird for 10 euro.
Adam Wysocki — Google review
Pretty waterfall counting as another thing to do in Manavgat. Entry 10 Turkish lira. Sadly, the water and terrain around are not clean, lots of plastic and other litter around, very sad for what can be a nice relaxing area. As usually in tourist Turkey, aggressive shop owners trying to sell their products. Same with guys trying to get you to have a photo taken with parrots. Not a lot of things to do, in and out in max half an hour if you came just to see the waterfall. The artificial waterfall in town area together with the area around is much more attractive and interesting.
Andy Kata — Google review
It’s a nice waterfall, beautiful water colour as always in turkey… however there’s not much to see or do like at other waterfalls. There’s a ton of souvenir shops and you just see one waterfall which is right there beside the shops. Costs 10Tl to enter. Stop by if it’s on your way but I wouldn’t go there just for that. There’s a nice picnic area outside with wood stoves.
Alexandra Pera — Google review
Lovely place to visit, very picturesque. Can get a bit busy with everyone jostling to take pics, but the guys with the parrots offering to take pics are very expensive, be aware! Gift shop definitely worth visiting for your momento's, not expensive, with some nice things 👌

Anıtsal Çeşme, also known as Nymphaeum, is a significant historical landmark in Side dating back to the 2nd century BCE. The remnants of a grand Roman fountain can be found here, attracting many tourists despite its crowdedness. To truly explore the ruins, it's recommended to go off-road. It's essential to bring water or purchase drinks as none are available on-site.
An amazing and beautifully spectacular part of Turkey. Immersed in history and culture. Absolutely love visiting Side and completely overwhelmed by the surrealness of this place. I can not stress enough the need to visit this city.

Absolutely loved visiting this place, taking a look at a history long past and slowly being preserved for future generations to also enjoy Turkeys 🇹🇷 history. I also enjoyed the fact that you were able to see historical sites preserved under foot (glass floors) amongst modern day buildings selling souvenirs, trinkets and restaurants. The harbour is a welcome sight too with a small selection of restaurants and bars overlooking the boats and sea, just a beautiful place well worth a visit.

The Athena Temple in Side, Turkey is a romantic and historic site on the Mediterranean coast. Dating back to the 2nd century BC, it features a frieze of Medusa heads and several upright columns. This place has a lovely setting right in the beach. Staff where so friendly also. We ordered all sorts of foods and every enjoyed all of the dishes. This was a surprise for my sisters anniversary and they did a great job the owner was unbelievably helpful. It really helps that you can book with them via WhatsApp as I was on vacation here. One thing to note the environment is mid to upmarket so prices are higher however the quality of the meats and food where great. I really loved how comfortable they made us all and how calm everyone was. They were don patient with my family and kids. We were slow to order but they waited and didn't rush us. Great place. They also have sun lounges on the beach so you can chill during day and have lunches and meals etc.

Q beach was absolutely lovely when we went a few days ago. The sun loungers are spaced out, with each having their own personal umbrella. This provides a lot of flexibility of how much sun and shade you get, which is better than other beaches nearby. There is a mixture of grass and sand which is nice. Once you leave the private beach and head to the sea things can get a bit busy, but that is to be expected, and it’s nice to come back to a bit of peace at Q beach itself. The food is very yummy, and the staff are very attentive. We’ll be going back again for our last day of the holiday because we had such a wonderful time!

NEVER and I repeat NEVER go to this restaurant. They tried forcing me and my partner to both put up a five star review.. then the owner took my Fiancé phone, went into her camera roll and uploaded a picture of her. Disgusting and embarrassing behaviour from a man. The day after we removed our fake review the owner posted on my fiancé phone and re uploaded a new one causing the pathetic owner to message my fiancé threatening her to remove her review or he would come to our hotel.. pathetic. This continued for 3 days. And yes, Mr owner I have all the evidence. Regarding the food it was average at best considering the disgracefully high price. We were definitely conned. PLEASE be careful when you pay for the bill.. make sure you read the bill before you make any payment. Additional to this, we charged for water that we did NOT want or ask for. Given potatoes when asked for rice.. and no we did not complain because the service was slow and the waiter could not understand English at all. And yes, Mr owner I have all the evidence. However, there was one nice waiter that took us to our cab.. the owner just gave of grifter vibes, very sleazy. It’s hilarious to see that in all of the bad reviews instead of the owner apologising to the reviewer he attacks and belittles them with false claims. Edit: The below response from owner is hilarious… instead of owning up and apologising for his awful service, overpriced food and boring restaurant design he decides to deny the fact we ever went to his restaurant. I have evidence to prove I regrettably went to that terrible establishment.. happy to provide it if needed.

Kamer Ocakbaşı Restaurant in Side offers a breathtaking setting and perfect ambience for couples and families. It provides a 5-star dining experience with excellent food and attentive staff. The restaurant is highly recommended by visitors who praise the welcoming and helpful staff, delicious mezze starters, and flavorful main courses served in clay pots. With its great view of the ocean, mellow ambience, friendly waiters, and good food, it's considered one of the best restaurants in Side.
To me this is one of the best restaurant in Side. Try their stew. It’s wonderful! Great view of about 270 degrees ocean, a mellow ambience, friendly waiters and good food. When it’s hot, it’s the best place to catch the breeze. Personally, I think they have the best terrace in town. What else do you want? A couple of years ago, I visited this restaurant when it was still situated next to the ancient great baths. I was aching to go back and enjoy their wonderful stew again. To my happy surprise I found them again at their new location. Their food is even better than I remember. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a great, reasonably priced meal made with quality ingredients and lots of devotion.

A fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food is amazing and the staff was very friendly. It’s located by the sea and you can switch seats if you would like to. The drinks were really good, I recommend getting the fresh made fruit juice. And the kebab is a MUST DO!!! I really recommend going here when your in Side! 🤩❤️

We had a light delicious lunch at this beautiful restaurant directly at the seaside. Beautiful relaxing atmosphere. The service was very attentive and helpful. The mezze plate is very delicious, the meatballs and hummus as well. The iced coffee was not the best I had in Side. The recipe needs improvement.

We have been in the restaurant in 2019, and now we came back on may 2022. The restaurant changed the location. The view is so much beautiful. We are so much satisfied about the food and the service. We definitely will come back soon again 😊thank you so much for everything

The staff were very welcoming, attentive, helpful. We asked for a recommendation on the food and we chose 1 starter and 1 mains to share. The mezze starter with bread was amazing at first they gave us fresh nan style and later provided us with some local bread which was so good. The main course was veal and chicken served with rice. This was presented in a clay pot which was cracked opened. It was very tasty and filling. Service was faultless and the food was out of this world. They do they card payments which came in handy. The total came to £51

Came here for a birthday meal while on holiday and I don't think I could have chosen a better venue. The restaurant itself is very relaxed with a fantastic location and situated away from the crowds. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive and the food is fantastic (probably the best lamb shank I have had). I would recommend a visit to anybody, but don't take my word for it, you won't regret finding out for yourself.

Ocakbaşı is a beloved restaurant in Antik Side. They serve quality food for many years now and due to the restoration of the old town Side the are now on a new location. Beautifully at the seaside of the East part of Side, looking towards the coast. The new restaurant is very beautiful, lounge style and the same quality of food is preserved! So, highly recommended 🤩

Breathtaking setting, perfect ambience - a setting for couples and families alike. If you want a 5 star meal in Side, without the noise of other customers, this is for you. The food is excellent, waiters(staff) are attentive and Michelin star attentive. Every empty wine glass gets filled, every water filled. I can't fault this restaurant,I've been to Side on four seperate occasions and this is by far the best the best restaurant and my family have been too. Would highly recommend. James & Anna 💙

It’s definitely the best restaurant in Side and surroundings. First of all everyone here speaks English very well, you will have no problem to talk with them fluently. it's a high class restaurant but there’s amazing home atmosphere. Food there was amazing! If you want to eat well prepared meal, Turkish or maybe something more European, you will find it here. If you order an alcohol drink, you can be sure it will have alcohol and taste good. Prices are not the lowest but it’s not street kebab, here you pay for real quality. I can’t forget the view from this restaurant there’s many tables with breathtaking view on the sea. If you are cold you can ask for free blankets. Me and my friends are really glad to went there and we will definitely come back next time. Greetings for incredible waiter Alli and any any other who helped us. Thank you!

We came to this spot after visiting three other restaurants. We came just to relax after eating a lot, and this was the perfect way to end the evening. The atmosphere at this spot was just amazing. The waiter was very nice and welcoming, and he made our visit very satisfactory. The shisha here is good. The food was also pretty delicious, and we ate it even though we weren’t hungry. We also wanted to have strawberry margaritas, and they made those for us even though they weren’t in the menu, which was very nice of them. The waiter speaks English, which is nice, easy to communicate. We had a great experience here. Five stars totally deserved, if we could give 10 we would.

We went here for my birthday meal and reviewed online before booking this place, all reviews were excellent and so we booked for 8 people to have dinner! The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. We arrived around 7.45pm and had a lovely table laid out with balloons and banners all set up by the restaurant. The service as soon as we arrived was second to none and super friendly and attentive. We ordered some cocktails to start and they didn't disappoint very well made and tasted better than our hotel ones and we're also cheap considering other places we viewed. The menu looked great with lots of choice, sometimes when I see to many choices I get worried that the quality of food will be poor, in this case I was proven wrong, I asked for a recommendation from the turksih menu and the the owner recommended the serenade special. It was a steak served in a nice sauce and onions and mushrooms with peppers! The whole thing was seved on a hot plate and wrapped in tin foil, they opened it up in front of me and it smelt delicious. The food was really tasty and well made and presented. The kids had burgers which came out and were huge so you definitely got your moneys worth. The food was really well received by all of us and the service from start to finish was amazing. If your looking for somewhere nice to eat and super friendly and child friendly I would highly recommend this place! They even arranged a free ride back to our hotel after the meal.

I went to eat here twice during my vacation in Side. I really liked to look and feel of the restaurant. The service was also very friendly and considerate. They made me feel welcomed and took care of my eating experience. The first day I ordered the Fried Shrimp as starter, that was amazing! It came also with Turkish bread. For my maincourse I ordered Chicken Fetucine Alfredo, damn good pasta. Really how I liked it! Good amount of sauce and cheese. The chicken was also tasty. The second day I ordered the Shrimp Fajita, delicious! The cocktails where surprisingly good!

Craig Gove — Google review
Unfortunately, the food was beyond criticism. Fresh orange juice is diluted to the state of tinted water. Mojito cocktail with unmixed sugar on the bottom. Squid is undercooked and not tasty. Chicken kebab is mediocre, but it is difficult to spoil it. Prices are much higher than average. The service is not bad, and this is probably the only thing. Just a hyped place. It's a pity, we were counting on this restaurant so much. We won't come again.

Would highly recommend, food is cheap but high quality. The staff are fantastic and extremely friendly. Going to miss this place when we leave Turkey, we have been 3 times now!! Also would recommend the carbonara, pizza and full English breakfast.

We really enjoyed the visit. At the beginning the service was very fast and nicely done my oldest daughter ordered pasta with white sauce but she chose to take out the chicken my second daughter ordered a steak and my youngest ordered pizza with mushrooms. For the adults we ordered steak and mixed grill. The food was great and we really liked the pizza. After we finished eating the waiter made us cocktails for the kids and tea for the adults per their requests. After we finished drinking the waiter gave us a a cute turtle to play with and we really liked it.

Just returned home from Side where we visited this restaurant a few times on our holiday and have to say the food and service was amazing! Could not fault it. Starters, mains, desserts all were very tasty and reasonably priced. They also made great cocktails too!! The staff were very friendly and attentive and recommended dishes on request. The atmosphere was very nice and chilled. Would highly recommend.

Fifth time in Side and returning to Serenade but realised I hadn't updated my review for 4 years. Always nice to be welcomed back after a year away by Jimmy on the door and his (not very identical!) twin brother Can (John) on service. Prices like everywhere have increased but thankfully are still reasonable and in Turkish lira and not euros like many places. Dined here twice in 9 nights and standards and presentation are as good as always. New waiter Mehmet is an entertaining addition to the team :) Thought I'd leave them some genuine good feedback from someone with more than 1 review to their name!

LİMAN RESTAURANT LOUNGE CLUB is a versatile establishment that transforms from an elegant candlelit dinner spot during the day to a lively club at night. As darkness falls, the venue becomes packed with enthusiastic patrons, and the patio tables are cleared to make way for live music by the waterfront, accompanied by vibrant neon lights. Set in a picturesque harbor location, this restaurant offers exquisite cuisine and fine wines, served amidst a breathtaking backdrop.
Highly rated restaurant in an idyllic location, overlooking Side Old Town harbour. Modern and a special experience. Staff are very attentative and offer suggestions on food. The King Prawns are absolutely huge, as was the Seabass. They were both exception and would definitely recommend them. Be away though that the seafood price will vary, as it's based on the weight of what you're eating. Having no knowledge of how to take the head and tail off the prawns was not a problem, as the waiter was more than happy to do it for us. They also de-boned and filleted the fish, too. This is not cheap, but it is definitely worth a consideration for a "special" meal or occasion. With a bottle of wine, the total bill for two came to 4,500 Turkish lira. This was, however, for their "catch of the day fish."

Ordered the seafood pasta with gluten free pasta. Waiter took the order and assured us they had it so I am 100% sure nothing was lost in translation. They then proceeded to bring out normal pasta and only mentioned it once we had started eating! I complained that I wasn’t happy and the only reason we ate here is because there are so few gluten free restaurants in Side - he nonchalantly shrugged his shoulders… Very disappointing and not one to usually leave a review but if you are looking for Coeliac friendly food in Side, you should NOT eat here. Also received a very undercooked steak for my son but let’s not get too harsh - I think my point is made!

Earlier this week we had walked past Liman restaurant and we were offered free pick-up and transportation back to the hotel after dinner. This evening my family and I went to Liman restaurant to have dinner. Liman is supposedly known for lobster and dry age steak, so we decided we would go there for our last dinner in Side. Little did we know.. I have tried many variations of dry aged steak, and lobster is one of my favourite. I know a lot about what dry aged tomahawks should taste like, and it was easy to see that the lobster had not been fresh for a long time. at the time of ordering, they showed us what they called a dry aged tomahawk.. the steak was not dry aged.. if it was, they must have done it wrong. They claimed it had been dried for 28-30 days.. I also asked if the lobster was fresh. They promised me it was fresh.. at the end of the meal, we ended up letting them know what we thought of the meal. The steak was not dry aged. The lobster was NOT fresh. When we finished dinner I let the manager and the staff know all of my thoughts regarding the food. The restaurant was ridiculously overpriced!! For those prices we expected a quality meal. The managers offered 50% discount on the steak and the lobster, and told me our transportation was ready to take us back to our hotel. The time was at that point 18:00/6:00pm and as we were leaving, we were told that we would have to wait until 19:30/7:30pm for transportation back to the hotel.. i saved the trip to this restaurant for a whole week only to be so disappointed, ended up paying around 220 EUR after 50% discount on the steak and lobster :( I wish I could recommend this restaurant, but the only thing I can recommend is the bartender.. he made a good strawberry dacquiri for my wife.

Our trip to LiMan was based on a recommendation from Crystal Sunset Resort staff member. Complimentary pick up and drive service was extremely helpful as I have a 2 years old baby, the driver was very friendly and informative. Upon arrival to the Antik Side area, we were collected by Electric buggy which took us to the restaurant. The location is amazing, just next to Apollo and on the sea shore. There’s also a market in close proximity. On arrival, we were seated to the sea facing table. The decor was nice and clean with light music in the background. For ordering, the waiter helped us to decide the order through good recommendations. Starters and mains were served in a reasonable time. I ordered steaks which were really delicious. All in all, I cannot fault any part of service and food and their efforts deserved 5 star from me !! Highly recommended !

Prices are overpriced. We ordered fish by weight for almost 1 kilogram of giltheads. In fact, the fish most likely was another smaller one. They asked for 1,300 lira ($65) for fish. A bottle of Turkish wine was 1,400 lira ($70)

Excellent Staff, got us a table to watch the sunset and let us sit as long as we wanted. Incredible value for money and there was something for everyone to eat, including spaghetti pomodoro which came in so handy for the fussies member of our party. All the food was excellent but I was especially impressed with the traditionally cooked lamb testi kebab for 2 done in a the traditional earthenware pot. The chef even took the time to tell me how it was made... if only I had a load of clay pots I could crack open and a giant traditional oven. So impressed with this place, everything from the friendly atmosphere, accommodating waiters- moving the tables to give us the perfect view to the delicious food and price, only 66 euros to feed 5 plus two rounds of soft drink!

After an evening enjoying a windy Side taking photos I camera by this restaurant. I was glad they were still open especially as the town was quiet. I had a cheeseburger and there is an extensive choice of beers. The restaurant allowed me to stay late chatting with some guests and there was pressure of being rushed to leave. Definitely recommended.

Wonderful service! I stopped for a tea with the sunset I was expecting the prime spot in town to try and overcharge me. When I asked for the bill, they said it was on the house. Beautiful view upstairs. The non alcoholic cocktails were beautifully presented and tasted delicious, as wel as all the appetizers and the aphrodite steak! Not many times have I had steak with this much taste! The croutons that were marinated and came with it were a perfect mix together. I wish we had Turkish restaurants like this in the Netherlands. However, the service wasn't what I expected. There were 2 other tables that got there later than us and got their food before we did. It took a long time and the staff didn't mention why, until we asked. Something they should take in consideration next time.

Myself and four friends came here for dinner on our last night of our holiday and we are so pleased we did. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the local appetizers to share, which was beyond delicious! The aubergine dish and fresh warm flatbread was a real highlight! Four of us had the beef kebab and it was amazing - beef cooked for perfection! And one of us ordered the salmon pasta, which was also delicious. The staff were so friendly and attentive, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you so much for a lovely last night in Side.

We booked a table in advance indicating the desire to meet the sunset and celebrate a birthday. We came, took our table. But the atmosphere was spoiled by a crowd of students who were filming something. After that they were invited into the restaurant and it became like a cheap canteen. And we ordered for 150+ euros. Just unbelievably negligent attitude to the guests!!! Would not recommend it!
