Main dishes are usually pretty fine but pizzas are mediocre at best. For those who like wines, it's a safe bet as a place. The service and staff is very polite and helpful. Plus, guess it's a great place for those who don't like crowded places to eat.

After having had the traditional Turkish experience for many days, it was a welcome variety to what Alaçatı has to offer. Amazing food ( we had the grilled steak and eggplant/steak pasta). They have a wide variety of wines and are extremely helpful with your choice. We asked for a full body wine and they Corinth several bottle options to the table for us to see and choose from. The service personnel were amazing. We never had an empty glass of wine. If you are looking for a romantic non transitional Turkish experience, I would recommend this place 💯. Although, they do offer some of the traditional Turkish dishes as well.

Beautiful bar with an amazing local wine selection and intimate outdoor seating amongst olive and pomegranate trees. Waiters were extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations. Ended up buying a few bottles to take back. It's like an oasis in the middle of Alacati!

Wonderful place with a lovely, romantic garden, great music and super friendly and helpful staff! Erol the owner also a great guy full of knowledge about local winemaking. Foodwise, also good, with aubergine baklava being one of the highlights. Highly recommended!

We've been here for a dinner as a group of four. We couldn't book a table in advance and walked in. The staff was really helpful and got a table for us without any wait. Our fabulous journey starts here. This wine house simply has become one of our must visit restaurants in Alacati. Firstly, the staff is friendly and professional. They have full awareness of the menu, have hearty smiles and positive attitude. They make you feel totally comfortable meanwhile you enjoy your night. Secondly, I should mention the atmosphere. The tables are within a garden where pomegranates hang from the trees (from beg-August). You could reach them from where you sit. Each table has quite a distance between each other unlike most places in Alacati. Lastly, the food and selection of wines. They have interesting and impressive selection of food from local cuisine. We didn't taste any beef or lamb dishes but for the ones who prefer, the kitchen staff gave us the impression that anything they would cook would taste good. A little complaint on the desserts. We didn't have any because the desserts menu was too limited and there wasn't anything special to this place. It could be a great addition to the menu if a couple of desserts which are unique to this place would be added to the menu. There are quite wide range of selection of wines which some cannot be found at any other restaurants in Alacati. The Manager/Owner of the restaurant is a local wine expert who you can comfortably trust. We are looking forward to visit Arven again in future.

Like being led into a secret garden! Asma Yapragi serves up delicious home cooking style meze dishes and mains, but what is truly captivating is the restaurant decor and vibes. Find yourself nestled in an open space garden, surrounded by warm lights, and cooled gently by the lovely summer breeze. A perfect spot for either a romantic date or with the family. Hard to get a reservation in during the summer so would recommend making your booking early!

Atmosphere is good. They really can improve their menu. The wine menu is very limited. Prices are a bit hi compared to quality !

A perfect place to dine if you are looking for a traditional Aegean cuisine! Every dish is very unique, everything is home made with olive oil! The menu and dishes change every each day but everything they offer is very authentic and delicious and unique to that area.. Highly recommend for a great experience!

One of the best night I’ve had in Turkey. Everything is cultivated and made at home. Don’t think it twice and order the lamb, it would melt in your mouth!!

Best restaurant I have been to in all of Turkey and top 10 in the world! It’s really superb in every way and the setting is so picturesque and special! The owner is a genius in the kitchen and in decoration! Exceptional home cooking at an elevated standard.

We got 4 small dishes and dessert for 2200 TL. We payed for hummus but didn’t get any. We didn’t realise until we already left. How can you charge for food you did not serve? We regret coming here!!

Lovely food & superb atmosphere unlike any other place in Turkey. We’ve lived in Turkey for 2 years but Asma is like no other restaurant I’ve been too. It’s like walking into the dream wedding of an Instagram influencer, with the lights, tables and little greenhouses. The food is wonderful, fresh and they have diverse options for starters. The tables are appropriately spaced and the waiters wear their masks. It’s important to note that when we visited, they did not offer any vegetarian mains. It’s also on the spennie side, even for this region. The crowd is as glamorous as the surroundings, so unless you have a 10k+ following on the Gram I would recommend making a reservation.

One of the best meals we had. Make a reservation though as they are well booked up in advance. We came in for lunch as the garden setting was too much to pass up on. For lunch we were brought in to kitchen to choose some mezes and a main course. Every dish was delicious and I was surprised at how cheap it was considering the quality, quantity and location. If your a foodie this is a great dining experience that should not be missed.

Cozy and warm atmosphere in this garden restaurant where one is basically dining in a beautiful garden. Although Tuesday cuisine is Turkish it is different from the kebabs and the Turkish food that one would find in restaurants. The food is more of a home style food. You are asked to choose from whatever was cooked on that day. Service is friendly and attentive.

While I loved the ambiance, the food could be better. Some of the mezes like the grilled pumpking and the deserts are good. The mains however lacked taste. Manti was really bad and salty, and the meat was overcooked. They also don’t have a lot of options for drinks; only a few wines. Service is top notch though.

Service was good, the staff was really polite and helpful. The man who served us gave us the most dedicated directions to get to izmir Airport. The food has a lot of variety and the prices are fair. The outdoor seating is very pleasant and it feels like you are in the center of the city. We came here two times, one for breakfast and one for lunch. Everything was great. The cocktails were excellent.

This is a great coffee shop/bar combo that you can spend a lot of time hanging out in without knowing where the time went. We do like the coffee shop itself though..

Köşe Kahve is the perfect Sunday brunch cafe in the heart of Alacati, full of locals and weekenders. During the warmer months and high season, you will want to get in early to beat the crowds. The team is friendly, and the service is very efficient. We loved the team's full personalities and how they enjoyed bantering with the guests and having a laugh. You are spoilt with a lovely outdoor seating area on the cobblestones to soak up the sunshine and beautiful surroundings, or you can also choose to cozy up indoors by the warm log fire. The menu is very extensive and affordable, something for everyone. We ordered the burgers a cheeseburger and couldn't go past the chicken schnitzel, and they were substantial. Our suggestion would be to start with one to share. Never before would we bother to mention the water, but this is worthy. Your sparkling (yes water) is accompanied by a crystal glass full of freshly cut fruit, seriously almost a mocktail. Coffee and freshly squeezed juices and lemonades were a treat too. The atmosphere and decor had a cozy Mediterranean vibe, and it was complete with the team's energy.

excellent food, very good coffee (with non-dairy/vegan milk options), and quick service. this is the avocado fried egg toast with arugula and feta, with some delicious balsamic vinegar. the toast was absolutely perfectly crunchy.

Amazing cafe for breakfast. Love the rocket avocado toast with a sunny side up. And a cuppa coffee to go with it. Can sit here for hours just to watch the world goes by in a good day.

Amazing restaurant, located in the heart of Alacati. The owner is from Belgium. Very friendly. Food was outstanding. Try the Turkish beer, Efes. Not bad.

It's a tiny bit pricy, although not unusual for Alacati standards. Excellent atmosphere, excellent quality, beautiful delivery. We went there twice, once for breakfast where we got a delicious toast with a generous portion. And another time for drinks where they served us a nice complementary salted nut bowl. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Definitely recommend.

I am coming here since 20 years, the service has gone down terrible in the last 6 months. I had to order my late three times before it came.

My one of the favorite place in Alacati, because delicious food, centre of Alacati, good service, but a lot of cats can attack u if u want to sit on the summer terrace.

Finally a breath of fresh air in what can sometimes be a food desert, a gem among the tired hashed and re-hashed kebab places you're used to. This place is AMAZING and just what we were looking for. We had a bunch of different things on the menu and all of them were absolutely perfect execution and twice perfect taste. This place does pasta BEAUTIFULLY. Everything is wonderfully Al dente and nothing is overdone, including the creams or sauces. The Avula burger is a successful barbecue outside of The States, and all the cocktails I tried were incredible. This place pays attention to detail and brings a menu very desperately needed to mix things up. The owner should be proud of this kind of restaurant, we didn't want to leave. Two of our party already ate and ordered anyway because everything was so good and tempting.

Outstanding food, service and location. We ordered the ‘Filled Steak with Ginger’ and the ‘Salmon with Beluga’. Both were exceptional, but the steak in particular was the best we’ve ever tasted! Our waiter was professional and attentive and we were pleased Chef Yasin came to greet us so we could compliment him on his food. Highly recommend if you are wanting a night of fine dining. Great location to sit and people watch from the front tables, or enjoy a quieter, more romantic dinner in the back garden terrace. Wine list was also excellent.

This was the best restaurant we visited in Alacati! The food was exceptionally delicious. We had steak filled with ginger, far east chicken, avocado salad and eggplant with bergama cheese. The steak and chicken were so delicious and juicy! We were surprised each bite we took for each dishes we tried. The staff were very kind and attentive! They made the mood calm and pleasant. The wine we tried called Kayra merlot was so nice! Recommended strongly!

We had 'Far Eastern Chicken' and 'Fillet Steak with Ginger'. Compliments to the Chef😊. Both dishes were very delicious. We received friendly and efficient service. As for the atmosphere, the background music was pleasant to listen to and just at the right volume that allowed us to carry out a conversation comfortably. We will come back again and definitely recommend Avula to our friends who want to enjoy good food in pleasant surroundings.🫶🏼

Delicious dinner and cocktails. We had the fried feta, chicken wings, artichoke dip, ginger tenderloin, and chocolate soufflé. It was one of the best meals I’ve had in Alaçati. Thank you for the wonderful experience! Came back here two more times. That’s how great it is! And Eren is the best.

Absolutely fabulous food and place. At first glance you wouldn’t guess it as the restaurant’s front looks very similar to others on the street, however there’s nice ambient inner yard and food is absolutely delicious. Premises are clean and tidy. Food was very tasty, hot and fresh (ordered meat and veggie wraps to go). And special thumbs-up for packaging as well.

This place is fantastic! We went here twice, first for wine and snacks and the next day for dinner and cocktails. The food is cooked fresh everytime and is excellent both in terms of presentation and taste. You need to have the mushroom avocado bruschetta and the beef tenderloin. Cocktail no. 3 and 6 are great!

Very nice location, it has a very good quality food. We had the Avula burger which was so delicious and juicy with a very nice fries. Also as a starter I had a roasted eggplant with Bergama Tulumlu which was so tasty. It has free wifi, clean restroom and a very kind staff.

Food, drinks, and location are amazing. Vibes were immaculate. My friend and I ate here twice because we loved it so much!

Nice open space. Unfortunately because even the “inside” had a top that opened people were allowed to smoke which ruined the experience a bit. But the food was excellent bit pricey. I didnt have any drinks but they were $15USD. The liver and the steak filet were excellent and perfectly cooked.

For me it’s a place with amaaaazing turkish food from this region. Turkish meze is soo tasty, delicious wine, beautiful location, very good service, u can also see the owner of this place. If u in Alacati and u find place for traditional delicious dinner — go to Ortaya🫶🏻

Great spot to eat and have some drinks at the evening. Order multiple dishes and share them so you won’t miss any of the delicious creations of the kitchen. During the weekend and main holiday season it can be really busy so make sure to reserve a table in advance.

Wonderful food and service. However, you need to make a reservation, otherwise they will rudely turn you away - which happened to us the first time that we tried. But the food is worth the effort to reserve this restaurant. It is on another level compared to the hundreds of 'samey' restaurants.

Very nice accommodative service. We didn’t book for Friday night and were offered to sit by the bar. Cocktails and Tapas were amazing, the atmosphere and service was excellent! Recommended for a relaxed quality evening!

We found this place by chance but we definitely loved it . I do not know where to start but all appetizers were great . One of the shocking one was beat root with cherry sauce . Try this with a white wine or rose wine and you will cockle back again even only for that . Çiğ köfte , the presentation with modern style was very interesting . Pickled onion served with the dish takes the experience to another level . We will visit here food the food that we could not try next time . Ps : you should definitely try their cheesecake with americano or go with the traditional (Turkish coffee) you will not regret ;) Better than many cheesecake places .

Definitely our favorite dinner in Alaçati! Beautiful dishes and wonderful service! Don’t miss the spicy passionfruit margarita, goat cheese baklava, strawberry salad and the cheesecake! Absolutely delicious! Highly highly recommend. I will recommend Ortaya to anyone visiting charming Alaçati! Update** We returned to Ortaya again (almost 11 months from my original review) on our most recent visit to Alaçati and it’s even better than we remembered! Our recommendations on what to order remain the same with the addition of crunchy beans. And our waiter, Ferhat was amazing! So friendly and took excellent care of us with great recommendations. We had such a delicious evening at Ortaya!

Wonderful meal we had in Alacatir. Cosy and intimate setting, delicious mezzes and mains, and a fine selection of wine. Shout out to the olive oil served with the bread - the olive oil was absolutely divine!
