The dining experience at Trattoria Al Bigolaro - Cucina tipica Colli Euganei was exceptional. The steak and wine were of excellent quality, enjoyed on a lovely outdoor terrace. Despite being busy with family groups, the service remained good. The dessert and coffee were also highly satisfying. This restaurant comes highly recommended. Their specialty is a thick and flavorful pasta called bigoli, which can be paired with various delicious sauces.
My husband and i celebrated our 19th Wedding Anniversary here last January 29th 2024, Monday, in a very beautiful place to eat, pretty surroundings with gorgeous and delicious food! I especially love their Bigoli alla Carbonara! Very creamy and tasty! Gentle staff! Very good service too! We're gonna come back for sure!

Excellent typical trattoria of the Euganean Hills, in the heart of the Galzignano valley, in a very quiet spot with a splendid view of the surrounding hills and woods. In the evening it is a cool and rested place. Lively pizza, very special with cream of pumpkin, porcini and parmigiano cheese. The Weiss and red craft beers were pricy at 7Euro but delicious. Fast and friendly service. Dog friendly. _ Returned after over a year and the rating plummeted from 4 to 1 star. For one thing I arrived early, there were only 2 or 3 guests, but coming in all wet from a stormy evening, the staff just kept chatting and nodody liked at us (I had a small child..).I had to walk in and help myself to a table. While last time the pizza was delicious this time it seriously tasted like it came out of a freezer and was microwaved, cardboard soggy. I had chicken in a pizza crust and some pieces tasted of liver, I had a hard time rating it. My son has a carbonara pasta and I'm afraid to day that the parmesan cheese they gave us smelled and tasted like the soggy dishrags that are used over and over. I can still smell this.. 2 comes, a small beet. €45 ... Definitely scratching this from my list, last night's pizza was 100 tubes better and much cheaper.
