Mexican restaurant
Poco Loco is a Tex Mex restaurant that offers a family-friendly atmosphere with planned children activities almost every night. The vibrant decor and friendly staff create an inviting ambiance, making diners feel like they've stepped into Mexico. The restaurant also features live entertainment, such as soul singers, adding to the lively atmosphere. While some reviewers noted slow service, many praised the generous portion sizes and delicious food options suitable for both adventurous and picky eaters alike.
When driving around, their billboard caught my attention so much that I had to go and eat there. Such a funny name and I do love Mexican food. At that time they were closed, but two weeks later I saw them being open and I just had to get a table there. Myself I am a very colourful person and once I walked into the restaurant I was amazed by all the pretty amazing colours and decor. I felt like being in Mexico at that time. We were seated by a very friendly english lady, called Ann and she explained the menu. We ordered two cocktails, one Sex on the beach & a Margarita. That one was very mean, good but oh my god, almost made me tipsy after a few sips. We had two burrito's with meat and it was like heaven. And after that I had a Banana Toffee pie, I just went to heaven... This is not a typical touristic restaurant, this is more like a family place or to go with friends for an amazing night out. Their food is amazing, with a touch of great service! Plus I never had such good Mexican food. Everything taste like traditional Mexican dishes, made with love from generations and fresh ingredients! And do not forget to order a piece of carrot cake, this is the place to be! They have so much different dishes, meats and also side dishes. I chose a burrito because I like that a lot, but next time I will go for a taco. And order some cocktails or shots, your night will be a hit! The three ladies running this great place are called Katheryn, Ann & Gayle. Sorry if I'm not writing your name the right way ladies, but I thank you for the most amazing experience. The price of the food and drinks are more then reasonable and when I come back to Campoamor, you can find me there! Never in my life I've had such a mean margarita, but the best one in ages! Soon more to eat there, maybe even tonight!

Perfect for four. Two adults two children under 7 years of age. Noisy kids party which is exactly what we wanted to entertain our little ones. I believe its only at the weekends 👍. It was a little bit slow for service but at least you were told before you ordered. Not like most places. Food was perfect for our taste buds as we are not adventurous when it comes to food. I had lasagne and I want more 👍and will be back for more 👍it's old and worn at this stage of its life but perfect for me and mine as once again we walked away happy, fed, watered and entertained so a well deserved four stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ lovely staff 👍👍👍👍

Visited this place with my in-laws, and our experience didn't start of well on the right foot. My in-laws waited 15mins (despite waving to get menu) before they could place order for beers (which waitress couldn't understand a word of Spanish). When we arrived, the same happened to us but this time I could very well speak fluent English yet the same waitress was arguing telling us to wait before they could provide the menu. Thankfully another waitress (presumed was the restaurant owner) attended us and was apologetic for the wait. She was much courteous, friendly and was able to speak fluently and understood in both English and Spanish. Food was worth the wait (about 20mins) and total bill was reasonable however if you are in a hurry, would not recommend for you to eat here. We arrived at 9.30pm and only got our food at almost 10.45pm.

Lovely service from both of the staff, very reasonable prices and great food. Only drawback is the very small amount of sauces we got with our food Definitely recommend to families, couples and groups of friends
Amelia S — Google review
Don't go here if you would like to eat something that even remotely looks like Mexican food. The outside looks nice but the rest is just super bad. The waitress didn't even know what "habanero" is, "I'll asked the kitchen". "No sir, we only have Mexican sauce"
Anders Håkans — Google review
Very nice restaurant. Very friendly waitress. When busy, you need to have some patience, but always with a smile!

Brilliant venue. Brilliant food. Brilliant Portion sizes. Brilliant entertainment. Ventured to Poco Loco on a Saturday evening for a 9pm booking - they had a brilliant live soul singer performing outside for a couple of hours, singing classics that everybody knew. The waiting staff were brilliant; happy, helpful and they made some excellent food suggestions that they stated were probably the best choices on the menu to go for. 1) Starter Nachos with chilli-beef (I've been to Mexico and these were unbelievable). 2) BBQ chicken wings - again, wow. Seem pricey at first but the portion size is impressive. 3) Mixed meat fajitas - absolutely beautiful. Big portions, cooked perfectly with additional sides and sauces. I would absolutely visit this restaurant again.
Elliott Neil — Google review
The staff is great, the entertainment for the kids as well. The food is okay but we cook better Mexican food at home. Think they should have updated the menu and invested more in making what they serve more attractive. Good with vegetarian options but tired of them only having beans as a supplement. Try Quorn as minced meat? And for goodness sake, make homemade guacamole!!

Restaurant
The staff at Asia Kitchen Restaurante are warm and friendly, providing excellent service. The restaurant boasts an inviting interior design that is both well-presented and comfortable, complete with air conditioning. The menu offers delicious food at a reasonable price of around 10 euros per person for a three-course meal and one drink, which can include beer. Highly recommended dishes include the delectable hot sour soup, sizzling beef with noodles, and egg fried rice. Complementary prawn crackers are also provided.

Lovely restaurant with nice decor! The staffs are so friendly and attentive. I tried the menu for 2, it was splendid, good value of money, big portions, had a takeaway. Starter: salad and sesame prawn, the mango salad is so refreshing. Main: pecking duck, prawn, chicken. Three dishes all well cooked, strong flavor. Dessert: Melon and ice cream.

Is it worth it? We are always having one dinner here ever time we visit (2 times a year). But, ever time I reflect on the price. Now it was € 120 for 3 adults and one child. One beer per adult. Is it worth the price premium for a robot? If you want the best bang for bucks, it’s simply too pricey. But, I’m guessing we are going to come back sometime :-)
Dan Friden — Google review
This is the place you want to come back to. Nice decor, of course, for a Chinese restaurant a little exaggerated, but it is elegant. It is worth to book a table because the restaurant is very popular and you may have to wait a while for a free table. An interesting feature is the food divider robot - a great thing for kids. And most importantly: the food is really super tasty. We ordered a set for two people. Duck is great, shrimp juicy, dumplings brilliant, chicken breast perfectly prepared, soup with dumplings also sensational. The kids ordered breaded chicken and nuggets. The only thing was that the nuggets were poor, they tasted like typical frozen, but this does not play a role, because all the rest of the food was just very tasty. The service was great, but a bit unwieldy with a full house. I can only recommend this place. There were four of us and everyone left satisfied and full. What else I would add from myself is to recommend the wine, white, Chardonay from New York. In my opinion it is a Very good restaurant! ( At a good price)

Excellent ambiance, food and staff! From miso soup to sushi to steamed sea bass, all was super tasty. We are definitely going back for lunch or dinner. Will need reservations for larger groups.

Good food for a good price, will come again. Lovely robot working there!

Fantastic meal! Read the reviews and they are right. Everything was delicious, big servings so don't order too much! We had too much in the end but loved every bit of it! There's also a robot server that's makes you laugh! Will be back again and they also do a take away! Just popped back in again, we remembered that the servings were generous so ordered less. Just as good as we remembered. And we even had the robot server again! Will come back again!

I'm not a China food Guy, but Aisan Kitchen is a visit worth ,, very good food and menus , and very nice people
Michael Østergaard Lunde — Google review
It's a decent place with a nice atmosphere. But it's busy, very busy. Almost every evening queues are out the door. If you're looking for a nice Chinese restaurant which isn't too expensive then Asia Kitchen ticks all the boxes. However, the quality of the dishes can be a little bit hit and miss depending on when you go.
Evie Philip — Google review
Food was great but a tad pricey. Friendly staff, but somewhat hard to communicate with through their masks and poor English skills. For us northerners it's odd to order your rice or noodles as a separate dish, that also pushes the prices up, but there's enough on the plate for sharing. Overall a great experience!
Tomas Sandkvist — Google review
Good food and service. Food is always well presented and there is a really good atmosphere. Also love the robotic cat waiter, great fun, especially for those with kids. I would recommend pre-booking a table in advance, so not to be disappointed, as it can get really busy.

Went there 2 years ago and it was great, last night was 100% perfect...food and service Excellent, make reservations during summer season. Came back in winter and just as good as before... Monday to Friday, menu of the day, but not on weekends.

Vegetarian restaurant
Beet Vegetariano is a great place for vegetarians to enjoy a wide range of dishes. The restaurant has recently undergone a stylish new refurbishment, making it even more alluring. The menu features dishes based on Indian and Italian flavours, making it perfect for vegans too.

We were looking forward to experiencing Beets Restaurant with our guests. We arrived at the restaurant on time, the lady who "greets" you and I use this term loosely, was on the phone, ok that's understandable her colleague then came over, she didn't acknowledge us and when the lady had finished her phone call she started to discuss something with her waiting colleague, still NO acknowledgment to us, she finally said hello and asked if we wanted the menus in Spanish or English, she then took us to our table which seemed an effort for her. When our server came to take our order I asked if the AC was working as it was extremely hot,she said it had just been switched on.🙄 After we had finished our main courses the waiter came over and asked if we wanted dessert without taking our main meal plates away, we chose not to have dessert and still after sitting there for 10 minutes our plates still hadn't been cleared away.🙄After 10 minutes of sitting there with our dirty plates in front of us I went to find out where our server was, he and the others were around the corner of the restaurant having a good chit chat with each other, I asked if anyone was still serving in our area🙄. I decided enough was enough and asked for the bill. They clearly have a WiFi signal problem because he kept walking away with the card payment terminal to get a signal. 🙄 It's a shame the service is so bad as the food is excellent 👌I wouldn't mind but it wasn't even busy and the table over from us had to go and find someone so they could also pay. Management really need to get a grip on the customer experience, your staff are lacking basic skills in customer service. As I said previously the food is excellent but it's a real shame the front of house staff are not as attentive to detail as the kitchen is. DISSAPOINTED.

Lovely and cosy restaurant which serves vegetarian not so boring options, freshly prepared food and tastes really good. Would love to visit again and highly recommended.

The best vegetarian restaurant in the area. Professional staff and good service with a colorful menu that is tasteful, you really get full without meat! The restaurant also offers lunch menu every day from Tuesday to Friday for a good friendly price. Recommended 100 %.
Malika Nilssen — Google review
Lovely vegetarian/vegan restaurant not far from the seafront. It has a lovely bright airy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and speak good English. Toilets are nice and clean. The food is tasty. My daughter had Apple juice that was clearly made fresh rather than from a bottle and tasted great. My vegan moussaka was delicious. We all thought the portions looked a bit small but they were actually really filling. We didn't have room for dessert.

I'm a typical carnivore so I went with a very skeptical attitude. The restaurant surprised me very positively. Beautiful decor, delicious food, solid portions at a reasonable price. I will probably not come back soon, I prefer ribs, but I will gladly bring my veg-friends
Przemysław Kowalczyk — Google review
lovely restaurant in the seaside town. Well worth a visit. The reason for 4 stars is that it's a mix of Vegan and Vegetarian so you have an adjust the recipes and sometimes it's not possible to do so. However that said staff were excellent. Our first, but not last visit, we had: aubergine rolls (yum), a lasagne (Excellent) and Nasi (was decent but would consider it the weakest of the three). Try it out good food and good prices
Gerry Dorby — Google review
A really beautiful restaurant! They offer a menu of the day, but they have also their regular menu. Everything can be veganized! The waiters are kind and speak english! They have their menus also in english! Even if you aren’t vegan you should come a try this restaurant!! Everything is super good seasoned and delicious! Make sure you make a reservation, since the food is really good a lot of people are there!

Mexican restaurant
El Charro Negro is a lively, brightly-decorated cantina-style restaurant that serves up delicious Mexican food. You can order lunch or dinner here, and they have a wide range of vegetarian and meaty options. They also offer free home delivery on orders over €12.
I came here 3 years ago with great food and service to see if the same was produced again and I was not disappointed. Fantastic food as ever all at reasonable prices, the kids menu seems to have been extended a little aswell as the Menu more simplified. I went for the Mixed Burritos which were beautiful. Place was as busy as ever.
Conner Regan — Google review
We came to the restaurant and it was packed! Still the staff managed to keep a polite and helpful attitude during the busy time. The food was great! Packed with flavor! I ordered the enchilada rojas and it did not disappoint! I loved the cheesy and chiken filled inside and the flavorful sauce on top! Not too spicy but still incredible. Though my father’s fish burrito was nothing too impressive. Also the special pork taco was delicious! The atmosphere was amazing and the interior was very nice and colorful! 😊

Popped by last night, hadn't booked, and was told 30 mins wait - and was so worth it! Enjoyed many beers and margharetta's, nachos, quesidillas, tostadas and enchiladas and we ate every last bit! The waiters were friendly, the food was fresh, tasty and out of this world and we cannot wait to return to try out the rest of the menu!! Absolutely amazing!!

We Always visit this restaurant while we are in Torrevieja. Very good food. Nice waiters. Very attractive prices (all on the pictures 35 euro) In high season better to make reservations. Sometimes all tables are ocupated , must wait . Nice atmosphere.

Beautiful place. The interior of the cafe creates a great atmosphere. You can take a photo with Mexican hats and sombreros. Lots of people all the time. We celebrated my husband's birthday here. Very attentive and good service. The waiters speak Spanish, English and Russian. It was unexpected. The menu is also in 4 languages - Spanish, English, German and Swedish. The menu is large enough and the prices are reasonable. Everything was delicious. Even the bartender made cocktails well, which is rare for Torrevieja. We will be happy to return again!

Been at this restaurant a few times in ten years, and the food is good. Fast service, good location and decent prices. The only thing is some music in the outside seating area. Maybe a few less options on the menu, it’s way too much to handle
Emilie Mikkelsen — Google review
One of the best restaurants in Torrevieja. Always a pleasure to visit here, beautiful food, great drinks, top notch service and a beautifully decorated restaurant. EDIT: Just to add that the waiters are very helpful if you are not sure what to order. You can't ask for more.
Rory Feehan — Google review
We are somewhat regulars at this restaurante. As we eat a lot of (nordic/american) taco home, we forget to go her more often, and that is a shame, because El Charro Negro has a great atmosphere, autentic mexican food and extremely nice staff. It can be a bit noisy inside, but make that as part of your mexican experience. The prices are reasonable, but I suggest you ask for recomandations if you are wery hungry or do not know what everything in the menu is. The meny do not specify the different dishes and some are huge- and other small (for the same amount of price). As we do ask questions, the staff are nice, great prices, and the food always great, we do have to give 5 amazing stars.

The Stray Sod Irish Bar is an exceptional establishment that offers a superb selection of food, beverages, live sports, and nighttime entertainment. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The service provided is top-notch, with a brilliant outdoor area available for both dining and drinks. There are also large televisions both indoors and outdoors for the ultimate viewing experience.
Been for drinks, lunch and an evening meal here recently. Enjoyed them all. Nice spot to sit outside in the sun during the day. The service is always good and it's good quality for the price. Definitely worth a visit and I'm sure we will be back again soon.

Fantastic bar for food, drink, live sports and night time entertainment (everyone was up dancing once they had eaten). Really happy and friendly staff, they couldn't do enough for us. The service was excellent. Brilliant outside area for food and drinks too. Massive Tv's inside and out! I will definatly be visiting again!! Really really good atmosphere both day and night! 5* from me! They clearly have customer experience at the fore front of everything they do!

We recently visited and can not only recommend based on our impressions but my Nans too. She has been a regular of yours for a long time and always raves about The Stay Sod. We enjoyed all our meals throughout the week. The young lady who served us was perfect, as was the lady behind the bar who was kind enough to take a picture of us all together too. We really can't thank you enough for keeping my Nan well fed, smiling and never without a vape. A thank you too to your other regulars who she always enjoys chatting too.

Have used many times for drinks and Sunday roast and been very good. Unfortunately today went in for a roast which was missing roast potatoes when served. How can it be a roast without roast potatoes. No explanation nor apology given for this. Many other establishments in the area serve this lunch will be using them in the future.

After waiting for 45 minutes to be served lunch I ordered a Traditional Caesar salad 6.95€ lettuce, croutons, parmesan and dressing, which was ok but when the bill arrived was charged 7.95€. I was waiting in my car while my husband paid the bill, so didn't realize we had been overcharged until we arrived home. Not happy!

Food was just standard nothing special. The Goujons were nice but the homemade Beef pie wasn't homemade anyway. As for the Caesar salad had mixed leaves instead of iceberg lettuce. The custard was cold in the bread & Butter pudding. Service was slow but very nice when she did come over, she never charged us for th Caesar salad because it's wasn't even touched.

Edited my review as we went for breakfast today and the food and the service was superb!! This is my first review below. Average Irish bar with ok food. Went for lunch and it was quiet. Cheese and tomato baguette was a cheese slice and tomato chutney not fresh. Pint of beer on draught didn't even seem cold. My son had battered cod and chips which he loved. Good value although I think the bar has a better vibe at night. Will try again.

Great all round pub. Super staff and food. Home from home. If I have to be picky the Spainish Guinness but that’s discussed to death. It’s like the sausage you’re never getting your taste . ‘More expensive than local bars but that’s known too.
