Went on a boat from Dubrovnik to Cavtat. Spent about 2 hrs at the Waterfront and had lunch. Laid back, tranquil and quaint Waterfront.

An information centre that are no help, that's a first. When I ask where to prepurchase bus tickets which are reduced rate, they have no idea and advise to buy when boarding bus at full rate (useless). They need to come out of their hut and experience what is going on in the town around them.

What a magnificent place this is, we very much enjoyed our stay here. Immaculately clean and well maintained hotel that boasts incredible views, multiple bar and eating areas, fantastic staff and great food. We were talking about how much we want to go back to this place before we had even left. We stayed on floor 4 with beautiful sea views, the rooms and a good size for the 2of us with everything you need. (Safe, AC, shampoo, hair dryer etc). The facilities and communal areas are clean and vast, we made good use of the outdoor pool area but also has an equally as big indoor pool too. A special shout out goes to a young staff member up at the pool side bar/restaurant named Ivan who was great with local tips and brilliant communication, a great asset to the team. Only a short walk to the old town if you fancy a little break away from the buffet station with a good choice of local restaurants along the harbour and crystal clear waters. The food at this hotel on our half board basis, buffet style but did not disappoint once. Breakfast and Dinner had something for everyone and left satisfied every visit. We will be back and hope to have just as good an experience. 🙏🏼

A lovely hotel in a great location, but its just a little tired. I would have given it 4.5 / 5 if I could. Breakfast was quite good but lacked a few things to make it a 5, i.e. no mushrooms for the cooked breakfast, dry croissant, not always manning the cooked omelette area. The sea views are magnificent, and the seating on the rocks is very original and great. The steak house restaurant was good, but more expensive than in the UK. One of the best things about the hotel, is the buggy service down to the town, there are stairs, but it was so hot that a free golf buggy ride was the way to go, and this service is 24/7.

The hotel is BIG and unfortunately that means the sunbeds are packed very tightly together that you're almost sitting on top of the person next to you. However, that apart, our room was nice (had a great shower) and the staff were all super friendly and helpful (apart from the women in charge of the poolside bar - what a grump!). The steak restaurant is also fantastic. All in all, very good and Cavtat is a beautiful little town

We had a pleasant stay. Quite a lot of guests, hotel is big enough so don’t feel crowded. Close to town and the golf buggy was very convenience. The view from the hotel is magnificent, service is excellent. We got upgraded to a Seaview room which was a bonus (thank you). The room is clean and spacious. One let down we have is the pillow was too soft, there is a spare pillow but was a smaller version. Food was good but we do better. Great indoor and outdoor swimming pool. There is a private beach area near the town, we had a really good swim! Highly recommended, will return again for sure. Thank you!

Lovely staff. Helpful at all times. Huge hotel❗️We were fortunate weatherwise, 22-26°most days. Walked every day. Used indoor pool and sauna facilities which had lovely views to the outside. Food was good and we were on half board. Eating times exceptionally good re people coming into or leaving hotel. Our room had a lovely view over the sea from a good sized balcony. Could be useful to have a little more drawer space since the drawers at bedside and dressing table were very shallow. A 3 drawer dresser would easily fit into our room. Tea/coffee making facility most welcome in our room and is always a great item to have available. Would recommend this hotel and would return again.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is like a paradise and the rooms are so beautiful, we had a room with a view of the sea and it was so relaxing at night. The food was always delicious and the staff were all so kind and friendly. I would love to come back someday!

We stayed here for a week 05/2022 to 12/2022 the hotel was immaculately clean everywhere and our room was kept incredibly clean. Lovely hospitality areas the Piano bar with wonderful happy staff, the pool bar with the gorgeous and very friendly Noel and the Grill room, phenomenal food served here. We had an amazing stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to people. All members of staff we encountered were happy, very friendly and helpful. The only slight criticism is the cost of items if you wanted anything from the rooms mini bar but a minor detail compared to the excellence of our stay. Loved the buggy to take us up and down to Cavtat. Thank you all so very much for the best introduction to our first time visit to lovely Croatia. Cavtat is a beautiful village with lots of fabulous places to eat. The boat to Dubrovnik is a must. Lots of love and thanks to you all.

Stayed here during October half term for a family holiday. Such a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We had a room with a lovely view over Cavtat old town. The Hotel has an indoor and an outdoor pool, which my son enjoyed enormously. The food was good, with a great selection at both breakfast and evening. We found the staff very helpful and friendly and our rooms were kept very clean with fresh towels and linen every few days. Good buggy service to take you down to the harbour and back if you don't fancy the climb up the hill. Cavtat is a lovely place with lots of nice eating places and bars. Good place to explore and plenty of trips to be had. We particularly liked Lokrum Island and a visit to Dubrovnik too. Can't wait till we can visit again.

Absolutely loved this hotel, staff, breakfast and facilities were all excellent!! Views from our room were excellent, no beach but plenty of sun bathing areas. I actually found this much better than dodging 100s of bodies on a beach, it felt much more private and exclusive. For such a big hotel which felt full, it seemed reasonably quiet, including breakfast time which i thought flowed extremely well. Lifts were a bit strange, seemed to go where they wanted but finally got you there!! All in all a great stay in a lovely hotel!

Great hotel! Stayed here for 3 nights. Location is very nice. Views from both sides are beautiful. Rooms are with air conditioning. The breakfast is great with nice variety of meals (don't trust people who say it's bad). Overall, I would (and will) definitely stay here again. Tips: bus nr. 10 can take you directly to main Dubrovnik bus station. Look for the bus at the center of Cavtat. However, if you want to visit Dubrovnik (and you should), you can take one of the ferries (tickets can be bought right outside the hotel - there are several ticket selling spots).

The hotel Croatia- a lot To like here especially the village of Cavtat itself. The room we had was nice with a sea view. Comfortable beds a decent bathroom and good housekeeping. The pool Is salt water which is not ideal for me , it didn’t seem to be heated either and was a bit of challenge in late May. But The pool is quiet and was not busy with families or kids. There are rock / cliff sun bed spots around the rear of the hotel with sea access and I personally would have preferred a beach but the coast here is beautiful but mostly Rocky. The bar and snacks are not cheap and only because the drinks and food are good and the surroundings are on point can you justify the bills. Staff are helpful at the bar and the cart drivers. The village is down a decent set of steps but luckily they hotel has a regular complementary electric golf cart service that takes you up and down if you can’t make the climb.

Most beautiful venue, warm, friendly staff, and an overall good experience. With the sea front, only a short walk away and airport a 7 minute drive, you can't really ask for more.

Nominally a 5-star hotel; it’s a very nice location within beautiful Cavtat. We came in early April, and the weather has been very pleasant. It’s quite right now, just out of season, so the hotel has best guess 50% or less occupancy. I can imagine this review may not reflect what it will be like in high season. The hotel is very nice, we’ve only used it as a base to explore, so the swimming area etc. are an undiscovered country. But the restaurant is perfectly adequate, decent range of foods, service is excellent. Rooms are clean and nice, the hotel is obviously well maintained and I cannot say anything negative. Staff are excellent Views are spectacular, we have a Cavtat/side sea view which is nice, on the opposite side of the classic Bond villain hideout picture you normally see of this hotel, so I can’t comment on that side, but our view is very nice as Cavtat is a very picturesque town The village is a 10 walk from the hotel, down a hill but there are at least 3 walking paths to it, a set of steps, a more traditional path and an access path

This is a great hotel. The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. All the restaurants and bars have excellent staff. Views are spectacular. You'll get your steps in as the hotel is huge and hidden in the cliff. Would not hesitate to stay again

We don't visit the hotel but love hanging out on the rocks and enjoy the view. A wonderful suntrap even off season. Be careful with swimming when the red flag is up as no lifeguards and it can be tricky to get in and out when surf is up.

We stayed here the last week in April, beautiful location and fabulous hotel. We had a sea view room with balcony which opened to stunning views. It was my partners birthday whilst we were there and they left a small birthday cake in our room for him, which is a lovely touch. There are lots of areas you can go to within the hotel. Cavtat is a small but lovely place. The food was a bit repetitive but that's pretty much the standard at a buffet style place. The only thing was there was no atmosphere in the dining hall... it felt like a canteen. Drinks are very expensive, we only took bottled water at dinner. The other negative is that there was no entertainment at all, evening or day. I appreciate it is early in the season, however, the hotel was busy and warranted it in my opinion. Other than that I would recommend here, just go later than April if you want entertainment. Staff were generally nice, specual thanks to housekeeping as they were so lovely and helpful.

A fantastic hotel with great sea views. The hotel and the rooms are kept very clean. All staff are very professional and helpful. My only issue came down to the food which was not really to my liking. Other than that what a wonderful hotel and I would love to come back next time I'm passing through.

Beautiful hotel and location. Nothing is too much trouble, the staff are gracious and helpful. The hotel is big - 489 rooms, but the common areas are so spacious that it feels calm and serene at all times, even mealtimes. Plenty of food choices, even for the fussiest eaters. The bar prices are expensive, but look at your surroundings, and the amazing views. The only negative I can find is that if you are half-board, you can get 20% discount in the steak house and I wouldn't bother. The taste of the steak was great, but it was tough and chewy. Not poor cooking, poor cuts of meat, I fear.

The Hotel Croatia in Cavtat was a great place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Croatia. The hotel is big but sits nestled in the wooded hills along the cost around the bay from Cavtat harbour. The rooms were modern and stylish and always very clean. The hotel had some great facilities including a spa. We enjoyed sun bathing and swimming off the pontoon by the harbour, swimming with the fish and watching the super yachts come and go. A short walk around the bay brings you into Cavtat with lots of shops and restaurants. There is a lovely wooded circular walk around the peninsula which we enjoyed most days. There are also places to sit and swim on the sea facing side of the hotel, perched on the cliffs you can walk down the steps to the sea and enjoy the sunset! It is quite hilly and a bit of a trek from the hotel to the harbour side.

Loved our time at the hotel, staff were excellent. Ana at the reception was lovely, checked us in and out, she was super polite and informative. Also, the cleaners were all friendly, when passing by they stop to smile and say good morning, they make sure we have everything we need. Finally, Marko the server from the buffet hall, he was so lovely, super smiley, attentive, and was always happy to come over when we wanted something.

Hotel in a place called Cavtat, about 30 minutes from Dubrovnik. Both the dinner and breakfast buffet spreads were fantastic. Rooms were clean and quiet. Downside is if you get tired of eating in the hotel, it’s a 10 minute walk to the beachfront where there are several restaurants to choose from. Down several flights of stairs to the beach and back up. Hotel does provide buggy rides to and fro.

Loved this hotel, it was a bit confusing at first to find the pool & beach but once you get your bearings it's fine. It's a bit a walk & lots of steps down to the town but there's a buggy in case your mobility is not great or just feel lazy but it's good exercise after all the food & drink. I would highly recommend staying there just for the views, it's stunning to sit & watch the sunset.... just beautiful. The staff are very helpful & pleasant.

A very evocative spot away from the commercial hubbub of Cavtat , the mausoleum is small but beautifully looked after and the graveyard is immaculate with extensive views across to Dubrovnik

It’s well worth the walk either up the steps or path from the harbour at Cavtat. The mausoleum is set in a beautiful cemetery with views out over the bay. There is a charge of 20 kuna to see inside this unique building but well worth going in. Amazing carved work on walls and ceilings etc.

This is a beautiful mausoleum, built to commemorate a family tragedy, in a very picturesque hilltop cemetery. It’s a great opportunity to see some of Meštrović’s work up-close while in Cavtat. It would be more aesthetically pleasing to remove the fake flowers from the altar and to get rid of the offering box made of cardboard and tape, as well as to find a place to put away the cleaning supplies.

Perfect view of the surroundings! But to get into the mausoleum €4 per Person - that is a rip off! Sorry - no way!

High quality and tasteful food, very good service. The lunch sets (meat or fish) are very reasonable priced. We visited 3 times (!) as we were very pleased at our first lunch. Tuna steak is marvellous and I never had such fresh and tasteful octopus carpaccio.

A little further from Dubrovnik, prices get cheaper. A restaurant with a good atmosphere located on the restaurant street in front of the harbor. The taste of the food is as good as the atmosphere, and the plating is luxurious. The sauce is unique, and the quality of the pre-meal bread and olive oil is also good. The sea view from the restaurant is also impressive.

I really enjoyed the evening i had at La Boheme. The dishes had good flavor and great presentation. The chicken with the almond sauce was almost perfect, the chicken could have been a bit jucier but overall a really tasty dish. The rasberry cake with the lemon ice cream for dessert went really well together. Overall very happy with my stay.

Definitely the best restaurant in Cavtat. Great ambience, amazing service and delicious food. A fantastic evening all round. Shared the seafood platter for starters and the mixed fish dish for main. Both were wonderful. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Will be returning before before end of our holiday.

Next to the big yachts you can sit, relax and enjoy great food. What a nice setting for a great night. With sole luck, if the timing allows it, you can enjoy a marvellous sunset. So the place is not highly recommended for the food, the friendly service, the great food wines which are offered but also for everything around the restaurant.

Loved the meal here. Great service, waiter even brought a little chair over for me to put my bag on. Had soup, fish and raspberry tart and all amazing. The wine was incredible too

Was walking along the Cavtat bay and looking for a nice dinner place. La Boheme was nicely decorated with a really nice vibe with open tables by the sea! We ordered a Beef Burger and Chicken with Almond sauce and both dishes were pretty tasty!

My #1 restaurants in Cavtat are 2. La Boheme is one if them. Friendly and professional staff with excellent knowledge of the menu, great recommendations. I visited Le Boheme twice - lunch and dinner. I am pleased to say that on both occasions the food and the service was excellent. I had fried calamari, and homemade pasta with truffles. Delicious and well presented. Will definitely visit next time I am in Cavtat.

Amazing service, very attentive and knowledgeable staff. One of the pricier restaurants in cavtat, however very generous portions and delicious dishes. The restaurant is beautifully presented with a lovely ambiance. The wines were the best we had all holiday! The mussels were the best we have ever eaten, superb. We had a lovely dinner on our last night and it felt very special.

This is one of the best restaurants in Cavtat. The food was good, the service was very nice. Everything, even the ice cream was very good. You can taste the difference. I will definitely come back to this place if I’m in Cavtat in the future.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent. A lot of people recommended the Tuna Steak so I tried it and it exceeded all expectations! The dishes we tried: Tuna Steak, Octopus Carpaccio and the Calamari.

A perfect end to a perfect holiday. The restaurant has a lovely indoor-outdoor feel with really courteous staff and we enjoyed the music in the square by a local group. Food was excellent. We shared the bruschetta, then he opted for the chicken with almond sauce and I for the seafood pasta. All were delicious, quality ingredients and full of flavour. For dessert we shared the raspberry pie, which put me in mind of a baklava crossed with a bakewell tart. Great wine and beer and really good value. La Boheme just won a place in my Cavtat top 3!

Amazing value for good quality food and outstanding service!! Only 10 minutes taxi to airport so a good place to lunch if you have an early evening flight as we did!

Accidentally found this place while strolling around Cavtat and we decided to have brunch and it was the best decision ever. We ate seafood spaghetti and it was really delicious and the staffs are so nice too. Highly recommend this place 👍🏼

The food was excellent especially the octopus carpacio. Our main were risotto cuttlefish ans truffle pasta, they were both excellently cooked. Nice ambient. The wait time for service is kind of slow at prime dinner hours.

Ivan's restaurant was located close to our hotel and right next to the water. It was comfy and cosy with welcoming staff and we ordered a meat platter for two which was much larger than we expected but extremely tasty! We returned for another meal and shared a meat platter when we went back. Definitely recommend and hope to visit again some day.

Arrived in Cavtat mid afternoon so were in the mood for simpler fare. The restaurant has a perfect setting overlooking the harbour and despite the extensive menu (printed in about 5 languages!) we both opted for a Club Sandwich. The smartly dressed waiter brought both drinks and food out promptly and spoke perfect English doing so. The food was tasty with thoughtful presentation and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Waiter with very deep voice is amazing. Food was fabulous, I liked everything what I have eaten, my wife same :) Unfortunately I got food poisoning - but was eating raw oysters so I could have food allergy for it. My wife was completely fine next day.

The calamari on the grill were very small, about 5 cm, the potatoes with chard (blitva) tasteless, the fried calamari completely dry, like crackers. We regret that we did not return the food. We told the waiter. We do not recommend visiting this restaurant.

We chose this restaurant because it had the same name as my husband. We were not disappointed! Although we were slightly awkward when we arrived because we were tired and weren't sure where to sit, the atmosphere was friendly and vibrant, with a gorgeous view, and the food was delicious! We left absolutely full and happy, having had the cavapcici, calamari, apple strudel, and several cocktails. Our only regret is that my husband didn't get to meet the other Ivan whom the restaurant is named after! We'll just have to come back another time. 😊

Went for dinner with no reservation Wednesday night and there were plenty of tables for 2 available at 8pm. Ordered mussels, grilled fish, and stuffed squid. The server was very friendly and the food was delicious.

Fabulous place. Food excellent and beautifully presented. All the staff were very attentive and made each of our three visits memorable. Wonderful location too. My sister and I had such a great time . Can’t praise enough.

Lovely family run restaurant. Michael who served us was very attentive and friendly. His mother's dessert recipes were to die for. The chocolate cake was magnificent. It goes without saying that the seafood here is fresh and very tasty. Great place.

First of all food was great, we had some exquisite mussels and a great time. Second and most importantly Ivan is such a good guy, funny intelligent and handsome, I even got the pleasure to take a picture with him and I’ll save it forever

Absolutely amazing. Me and my partner went twice during our holiday (we could of gone every night!) Everyone is so friendly and the food is delicious, as well as reasonably priced. You get given a complimentary pear liquor at the end of your meal which we started mixing with sprite, we loved it so much we brought a bottle to take home.

We chose this place after reading many reviews. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place. We chose ,,Riblia plata Ivan za 2 oso." The view from the restaurant is amazing, that's all I can say about this place. The dish did not impress. A nice waiter brought me a plate twice. The plate was dirty, he noticed the first time. The second time I asked for a replacement myself. I am not an overly demanding person. it was the first time for me. Maybe I was just out of luck. I'm sorry that I had to write such an opinion.

This restaurant truly represents all that is wonderful about Cavtat dining. Not only is the food delicious with fresh-caught seafood, but the service is exceptional. A special thank-you to Uri, a server who cannot do enough to ensure you are satisfied and well looked after. When you come to Ivans, expect old-world values and a lovely atmosphere.

Very popular restaurant for tourists and locals. Lovely location, and staff are first class in friendliness and professionalism. The food is excellent, fresh produce, freshly cooked. Family establishment worth visiting.

Great food at an excellent price. The view of the marina is second to none and the service was exceptional. Would definitely visit again.

Absolutely superb food and atmosphere. Couldn't have asked for better. We pre ordered the lamb under the bell (24 hours in advance), it was well worth it. For 4 of us it was €196.00 that included starters (tomato salad, bread, cheese and a thin ham), wine, bottled water, lamb under the bell and pudding. We were well and truly satisfied.

The restaurant is good BUT super overpriced for what it is. There is no menu so you basically choose between meat and fish. So you basically start ordering without knowing the prices for things you order. We got a starter, 2 meat dishes and drinks and paid 70€ for all. The food was good but deifnitely not worth the price we paid. I can recommend the place only if you have the budget.

So chill and relaxed place! The owner is very nice! He didnt have all food from the menu, but what we got was very tasty. I can really recommend tomato soup and meat. Wine was also very good.

This place is good for you if you spent too much time on the beach, because it is far up in the mountains! Here you can not choose from a card, but what you will get is absolutelly domestic local food with a good wine. The owner re-opened the former but at the last years abandoned restaurant. I recommend it. The price level was so high as the location is from the see-level. There is phone, so before you go there you can order some specialities and you can agree with price. Close to the place there is a wiewpoint. Don't miss to look around!

We happened by this place by accident. We went to see the sunset and decided to go and check what is at the end of the road. There happened to be a restaurant and we decided to eat our dinner there. The place looked awesome and food was great. We ordered grilled shrimp and fries. Fries were perfect and best grilled shrimp we have tasted. It's a shame I didn't make reservation ahead of time, since I would have loved to taste the lamb cooked under the bell. Also I would have loved to taste their wine, but I was driving. All in all, very good experience, but even if you don't order food, that requires higher cook time, I recommend making a reservation, otherwise the place might not be open when you arrive.

Had the chicken Fillet. Amazing service, the chef couldn't have been nicer to me and my family. The only downside was the price as it was very expensive, but oh well... view was amazing, and the background music was soothing and calm. Would give 4.5 stars if you had more menu options as it's quite a small menu but good selections for picky eaters.

Lovely local cuisine. Cheese and meat starter, lamb and potato main (have to order 4 hours in advance!) and a creme caramel for dessert. Whole meal cost €89 for two of us - there are no menus, definately worth it. Lovely atmosphere on some beautiful grounds with mountain views, what more could you want?

We came on noon and we met the owner of the place that do the things as a hobby , we were just before the flight back home and this place is close to airport :) We like the food so much, owner was amazing , quite and nice place , good price , It is recommended to order a place before you arrive. And notice there are some spacial dishes that if you want them you should order a day before . Very traditional food :)

We turned up after a trip advisor recommendation, was fantastic food in a fantastic setting. A slightly challenging drive up at times but well worth it. If you ring a minimum of 4 hours ahead they can have lamb, beer or octopus cooked under Bell for you, if not then they have a fantastic option of a meat and cheese board with salad, and a sea food or meat platter with chips for main We got starter and main plus a litre of wine for 640. Was a fantastic date night setting

We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance during our journey, and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food. We especially enjoyed the location right by the water, which added to the charm of our visit. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely food and wonderful view. Our waiter Josep was excellent, giving us some information about the area. Chocolate Rhapsody dessert was top notch. Delicious Croatian rose!

As hotel restaurant service was friendly but a bit slow. Charcoal grill made fish was great. Swimmers in front of restaurant disturbed a bit the atmosphere.

The greatest viewpoint to the Old town of Cavtat . Good service , wonderful atmosphere 👌🏼✨ regarding cuisine and dishes on the opposite side of the bay much better quality and taste . So I would recommend this place for light snacks and drinks and the atmosphere of course 🙌🏼

Don't actually know were to begin, unfortunately didn't have any food, but very much enjoyed the cocktails and scenery. Just a simply stunning location.

Lovely view overlooking Cavtat. They offer great cocktails (mojitos were my favourite) and yummy food.

We were almost put off going here due to some of the reviews posted. Fortunately we went for dinner and had a lovely, enjoyable meal (best meal in Croatia so far). The chicken breast stuffed with cheese with ratatouille was moist flavoursome and well presented. The service was first class and, of course, there was the fantastic view across to the bay.

Very lovely service. Nice location. Prices were fair. Food 6-7/10. We had the truffle pasta, veggie soup, chicken in mushroom sauce (the best), and pancake with Icream and cherry which was awesome.

This is literally the best place in Cavtat to eat and we have not found better place than Dalmacija. They always have specialties to offer and apart from other restaurants here can make specialties for Vegans or allergies (my sister is lactose intolerant). If you order in advance they could make specialties for 6+ people such as octopus in oven or delicious fish soup. Most important they have the best standards based on local inspections, which was crucial point for us.

Absolutely LOVED this restaurant, we came back twice. Tried the mussels and the fried squid and if you go for the 3 course meal which is just 18 euros each, it is truly worth it. The lady that serves us on our first day was great and speedy, thank you.

Stopped here for lunch on the last day of my trip. Staff were very attentive and their lunch menu is generous in quantity, quality and price.

There are better options around. The food was just OK. The black risotto was way too salty and the squid inside it not very fresh and cooked to death. The sea bream was dry (overcooked). The lighting is cold, not cozy. The service was just OK. All that at prices that are a bit higher then some of the better places in town.

One of the best meals we have in Croatia. Warmest hospitality we have received as well. Lovely and friendly staffs. Food is fresh and good. Truly enjoyable.

So far this restaurant is #1 in my personal rating of restaurants in Cavtat. Their tuna carpaccio is a pure delight.

Great food and great service! Ordered mussels buzzara, fried sardines, shrimp risotto - everything was very good! Warmly recommend this place!

We had a set menu which was good value for money. My main dish, fried squids, was absolutely great but my partner was not so happy with his fried fish. The service was friendly but terribly slow! After waiting for our desserts for more than half an hour, we asked for them again and finally got them. And there were less than ten customers at the moment so can't even imagine how slow it is when the place is full!

Staff was very attentive, and the chef cooked the lobster and lamb chops to our liking 👍 Family loved it.

Very slow service….it just took a long time…sat outside (not by choice, just the only option as they said nobody is inside!) in April and it was too cold. Had Seabass which was overpriced for the value and it came with some limp veg. My son had mushroom pasta, which was better. They do offer bread and fish pate that comes at €2 but it’s worth it. Very nice elderly gentleman who was part of the waiting team and he tried his best. Pity as the restaurant had potential. It was over €100’s and not worth it

Perfectly located in the heart of Cavtat. Views onto the Main Street areas while limited views of the harbour. The staff are so friendly and some having been team members for decades. A fabulous choice of dishes, pasta, lasagnas, meat and fish dishes. Priced well and a fabulous open plan seating area with optional cover if and when weather may turn. We have eaten here in numerous occasions and all have been fantastic.

Came on advise of a taxi driver. Food and service are amazing. Started meal with a tuna butter on fresh bread. Seafood was fresh and delicious. The pork and bacon was so flavourful and rich. Make sure to to this place in if you are near.

Went there for a light bite. The food, staff and atmosphere was amazing. Their tuna pâte was gorgeous. It a place to try.

The best service of all town. Good prices and better attention of all the waiters, specially from Barbara. They saved our luggages inside the restaurant while we're visiting the town. Thank you for everything.

We had lunch here with a lovely outlook over the bay. Our pasta was delicious and salad fresh and tasty. Friendly staff and good value- I am sure we'll be back !

We had the grilled fish platter which is a signature dish. I read very good reviews so we decided to give it a try. It’s absolutely valued for what you get. You get Seabass, Seabream, Sardines, Squid, Prawns, Tuna potatoes and veggies for two for just 300KN! It taste very delicious especially Tuna. I normally don’t really like cooked Tuna because it’s usually overcooked and not tender, but this one was cooked medium and prefect. This fish platter scores very high. We went there again the next day and it did not as good as the first time but it’s still ok.

Great food. Certainly in the top 3. The presentation is good and portion size is just right. The main guy serving customers (Mario) is knowledgeable, friendly and helps make the whole experience well worth it. Well done Mario !!!

A group of eight of us dined at Ciparis while staying in Cavtat. Our experience there was exceptional from start to finish. The food was amazing and the service was too. Our waiter Mario was definitely the highlight. He was so friendly and attentive and really went above and beyond to make our evening special. I would highly recommend eating at Ciparis. Come for the food, stay for the service.

Absolutely brilliant wee restaurant in a perfect location by the bay. The service was friendly and helpful, recommendations were spot on. The atmosphere was superb and the food was delicious.

I'd have rated 5 star on the service alone. You can tell that it is family run and the food is fresh. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the waiter is so attentive. Wish we would have dined here earlier on in the holiday so we could have come back. Medeterian beef steak is unreal.

Reviews suggested this was a good restaurant and being a family run restaurant we chose it for our wedding anniversary supper. The food was delicious, service so attentive and the tranquility alongside the sea a perfect setting. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

My experience with this restaurant was awful and really disappointing. When we came to Cavtat I was really excited about eating seafood. First, We asked to see the fish options and pick them from the fridge, but the waiter said no in a rude way. The prices were way too high for what we got. The seafood tasted old, bland, and some was even undercooked. The mussels and salmon were flavorless, and some fish were not cooked enough. It seemed like they used frozen or old fish. When we told the same waiter our food wasn't good, he didn't even apologize or try to make it better. Plus, the restaurant was almost empty, which should've been a warning. Overall, it was a really bad experience. NOT recommended!

Fantastic place, professional service, great food and moderate prices, everything you need for a good meal. We took the fish plate, which is varied and rich and full of different flavors. Professional waiter, unobtrusive but available for all our questions.

Food was amazing. Steak was well cooked medium/rare. The sides along with the steaks complimented the meal and were well seasoned. The deserts were nice tasty and well presented. The service was super warm and friendly from the older gentleman man. He really made our night and deserved a tip!!! The location was lovely with a great ambience and views to boot! We really enjoyed being here. This is by far our top place to eat in all cavtat and Dubrovnik. We are going again on the last day of our holidays as the first time here was just not enough! We will be back here again next time we visit cavtat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This is the best restaurant in Cavtat, absolutely amazing. We have visited Cavtat in the last 3 years and always revisit Ciparis. It sits beautifully on the waterfront, so very classy, the menu and choice represent fine quizine. The staff are so professional, classy, warming and respectful. We loved Mario as he embraced all these values, very attentive making certain we enjoyed our night, engaging in chat which we initiated and then learning so much about the Croatian culture locally. We loved the ethic around family business and the vegetables produced from their own farm. The food was a sheer delight and ambience experience 👌 Well done CIPARIS, Mario.. we very much look forward to our return next year. T-shirt on photo says Ibiza but that was another holiday.. We must get the CIPARIS T-shirt next time! ❤

Amazing fresh seafood! Well cooked, seasoned perfectly, and a generous portion! The value for money was on point. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate a gluten-free requirement by changing the side dishes. Friendly staff that made us feel welcome in a warm atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic meal lovely staff beautiful romantic environment. Food was beautifully presented portion size very good. Wine quality very good. We really enjoyed our experience here would highly recommend and will be going back before the end of our holiday. Treat yourselves to the best in the area. 5*****
