The Italian restaurant Dal Pescatore was a perfect place to stay while in Ischia. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and always went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. They provided delicious meals that made all of the guests stay for longer. It was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
If you're looking to experience great taste and a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go. Neapolitan pizza style made with love and passion, great knowledge of dough secrets from the guys behind the oven and the freshest ingredients. Staff were very friendly, helpful and had a great attitude considering how busy it was. Well done guys and keep up the good work. All the best! ❤️

Went to the pizza take away around the back. Cook is very kind and can speak German. The pizza itself is tasty and not too pricey. But it's small and very oily.

It was everything I expect of a great Italian dining experience. Laid back atmosphere in a beautiful location. Our meal was lovely; the ingredients were fresh. Very friendly and polite wait staff. Our only complaint was that we waited around for our check for a very long time to the point that it was frustrating. The tiramisui was hands down the best we've ever had! Try it, you won't be disappointed.

You can come here for tasty cakes 🥧 and coffee ☕ but don't expect good service. Just order over the counter, sit on a terrace and enjoy the view.

We have stumbled upon this cafe as it was the only one open in town in February. We had a fantastic time. First we had a coffee, then we went for a walk and came back to try the local wine. The white wine was amazing. We also got some nibbles on the side, which we really appreciated. Paolo, the manager was very kind and helpful, gave us his Fennel/ finocchio liquer to try and even gifted me two ecological lemons that he grows..I can only recommend this place highly!

Very nice and kind staff, even they don't have anything vegan on menu they are willing to prepare vegan versions according to your choice ❤️

This place deserves a better rating. Great staff, beautiful location, amazing food. I got the zucchini pasta (I've never had better and think about it all the time), some drinks, a frozen lemonade dessert (amazing), and a shakerato! And my brother got a champagne which came with a beautiful aperitivo spread!

I was in Ischia for 5 days and never skipped one meal with these people! Honestly, their food pretty much made all our stay! We had lunch and dinner at this restaurant every day and the owners and staff were beyond kind! We had delicious meals here (as one can see from the pics) and they did their best to keep us happy: from the really small details, like placing a heater next to us, to interesting conversations, small dishes or prosecco on the house. These ah-mazing humans even baked a cake for my birthday! It was one of my best experiences in a restaurant worldwide. I will definitely go back and I recommend them to everyone, everywhere, with a more than open heart!

Try to avoid this bar/restaurant at all cost! Sat down and payed 8 euros for a melted cup of ice cream which taste-wise was complete disappointment. Next door place has much better and more considerable pricing for ice cream and coffee!

This is Italian dining in the older traditional way. Beautiful linens…helpful friendly staff and delicious food locally sourced. The house wine grown right here on Ischia and delightful. I am returning again tomorrow. PERFETTO!

The Dolce è La Vita - Bar & Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with its stunning scenery, delicious cuisine, and attentive service. Notably, their fried calamari is outstanding, as it includes additional treats like fried zucchini and yam/sweet potato. The dishes are always fresh and perfectly breaded. For dessert, patrons can indulge in a delightful Neapolitan biscotti that combines the flavors of coconut, cocoa, and almond topped with a scoop of gelato.
Nice location, perfect view. Ordered only drinks; received sparkling water to the Espresso!

Walk towards the end of the restaurant for the ocean view! Kitchen does not open until 12:30 pm, so beware. This place is the best in Ischia and we enjoyed every moment of it. They treated us well and staff was friendly. Really nice touches in service with anything you order. They do care about their customers. Their prices are a bit on the higher end but it is understandable given the view. We loved their mussels, greek salad and gnocchi. Would highly recommend this place.

Service was nice and helpful but food was quite average. We were not impressed with the cod or the veggies, they had a good enough flavor but completely unremarkable. There was a nice breeze and view. We also had gelato but it was very sweet and flavorless, the only time I have not finished my gelato.

We arrived a little before dinner. We sat on the porch and had cocktails. They served us “snacks” which could have been a meal by itself. The Jorge Mojito was the best mojito I ever had. Even those who don’t love a mojito would fall in love with this one. The wine was also excellent. Now to the meal… They are absolutely about pleasing the customer. I wanted a salad to start, and they absolutely accommodated with one of the freshest and most beautiful salads. The fussoli pasta was exceptional. Homemade and divine. The tuna was fresh and seared to perfection. There was no room left for dessert, but we had to make room. We had the cheesecake and a lemon sponge cake. The cheesecake was the best I have ever tried. The lemon sponge cake was heavenly. I could eat here a million more times the food was so yummy! A must try

Stopped by here for Aperol and Limoncello Spritz. I was very surprised that it was so good! Plus the best aperitivo I had around the Naples and Amalfi Coast. The restaurant has also beautiful views from its terrace.

This restaurant treats you to a wonderful view, dining, and service. I had the best fried calamari of my life here - instead of only serving you fried squid it includes fried zucchini and yam/sweet potato. Fresh. Perfectly breaded. For dessert we had a Neapolitan biscotti which was a slice of coconut, cocoa, and almond heaven with a scoop of gelato on top. The waiter went out of his way to give us tips on his favorite spots in the area, writing them down on a piece of paper for us to take. Excellent excellent excellent.

Great place for a quick bite. They also have an amazing view of the ocean. Service was good, friendly staff and they spoke good English.

I had a light lunch because that’s what was available. So Caesar salad was flooded with dressing and the lettuce salad wasn’t crunchy at all. It would needed to stay in the cold water for a half before they should prepare it for a guest. And I really don’t understand why do you write about the amazing view? Yes, the view is amazing but so what? We are here to discuss Italian cuisine, aren’t we?

The Crostone Nemo was out of this world, seriously 10/10 a large crunchy crouton topped with a pistachio pesto whipped mozzarella seared marinated tuna and rocket. Bellissimo. The view was also spectacular and the service friendly.

Without a shadow of doubt the best dining experience we had in Ischia. The food was 10/10. Particularly the Linguine and the fried calamari. The service was great, and Ezio was very helpfull. 10/10

Bar Ridente is a charming spot with a stunning view and delectable dessert options. The atmosphere is serene, away from the hustle and bustle, making it an enchanting place to unwind. The hospitality is top-notch, with a delightful hostess ensuring a pleasant experience. While the menu offers basic sandwiches and other items, the highlight is the delicious tiramisu and lemon cake with frozen lemon that leaves a lasting impression. Visitors can enjoy waiter service while taking in the picturesque surroundings.
A place with a view and great desert options. We had coffee and desert so cannot comment on other menu items. The views around are great and being away from the traffic makes it even more magical. Hospitality - Great, wonderful hostess with a happy smile Location - Awesome Price - Reasonable We had lemon cake and tiramisu. Tiramisu was delicious and not soggy like every other place we have tried so far. Lemon cake had frozen/cold lemon hidden and was delicious that I can still imagine what I tasted days ago... No wonder the Italian region has some of the best dessert. If you are out walking, shopping you have to try the dessert options here.

Very unfriendly staff. Bought an ice cream and drinks while my wife sat down at a table. Staff told us to leave and that we couldnt sit down to eat. Horrible experience. Please avoid this place.

My daughter and I got lunch here for 10 euro. It's just basic sandwiches and stuff, but to have waiter service and this view, it's pretty great. It's unfortunate that many Americans don't understand you can't eat their takeaway ice cream at tables. This is pretty standard in Europe. The food at tables costs more, because you're paying for the service and a place to sit. You can order ice cream through the waiters.
Jon Emerson — Google review
Horrible service - we bought an ice cream at this bar because my family was drinking at a table and the staff told us to LEAVE! We literally could not eat the ice creams we paid for with the rest of the family! My father's partner had to hurriedly eat her ice cream at a bench while her beer was getting warmer, to not leave my dad alone at the table... Honestly, I've never experienced such rude service in my life...

Great Strawberry Frappé!!! Location is lovely and i strongly recommend sitting down there and watch the busy plaza. The staff is highly unfriendly, unprofessional and unmotivated. Therefore order once at the start and then pay by card inside and it's all good.

Ristorante Casa Celestino, located on a breezy patio with a beautiful view set in the cliff, offers a delightful dining experience. The seafood salad and prawns with lemon zest are highly recommended dishes. The restaurant's friendly staff and stunning sunset views make it an ideal spot for a memorable birthday celebration. Visitors from London were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional seafood and the special birthday message from the staff.
A birthday I will never forget. Being from London, I assumed that I simply did not like seafood. As it happens, I have never had true seafood in my life until I came here. What a special restaurant. An absolutely stunning view of the sunset over the oceans and two edges of the island, beautiful decorations in the restaurant and incredibly friendly staff who all spoke perfect english. The food was absoultely stunning and they even did a special birthday message for me. Getting to and from the restaurant is also very easy, with a huge parking lot nearby for about €2 an hour, followed by a beautiful walk along the mountain with shops and cafes around. I doubt I will ever go to a restaurant as beautiful as this for the rest of my life, certainly a once in a lifetime experience! Worth every penny. Do not miss out!

Extremely slow service, so beware. Amazing views, great ambience but high prices. They made us wait legit 20 minutes before they came to take our order. We got their tuna tartare and it was delicious, definitely smaller than usual portion tho. Cod confit was yummy, however, involtino, which is the fried fish, was disappointing. There is even live music after 9:00 pm which was cool. Overall good experience.
Anil Korkut — Google review
Beautiful view, set in the cliff, lovely food and very friendly staff! I had the steak tartar which was great and the fish “confit” which which just delicious, unique and beautiful, I highly recommend it! I also had some oysters which were lovely but were €7 each (French , Italian and sustainable, always comes at a price) I didn’t have a reservation but went at 7.30 and was able to get a table. I think it’s the best time to go because you get to watch the sunset. Thank you!!!

GREAT restaurant, especially for a romantic meal. Gorgeous view of the bay with breeze & the food was incredible!! Photo is of paccheri all'astice (lobster) and raviolone with shrimp & sea bass. Also highly recommend the secondo of fried calamari & gamberi (shrimps) -- it's served with two aioli sauces, lime garlic & a spicey one 🤤💯

Casa Celestino, a restaurant with exquisite furnishings and a stunning vista, offers delectable seafood dishes made with fresh, locally caught fish and high-quality ingredients sourced from the island. However, what truly sets this establishment apart is its exceptional staff who go above and beyond to cater to every customer's needs. Paolo and his team provide an outstanding experience that leaves visitors eager to return.
Wonderful lunch here while visiting San Angelo on Ischia. Set a few steps down off the main street- overlooking the sea. Ordered the Octopus 3 ways as an appetizer and the tuna as main. Excellent! Cant wait to return

The restaurant Casa Celestino is very finely furnished and has an amazing view. The fresh fish, locally caught, is perfectly cooked using great ingredients from the island. But the very added value of this place is the personnel which are very kind and would do their best to address any clients' requests. Thank you Paolo and to your team for the amazing experience. Would definitively come back.

Good food. Staff was polite. View is very nice. I had an grilled octopus (14€). One star down because charging 5€ for bottle of water is a rip-off. If the prices would be a little bit more reasonable I would give a 5 star.
