The Unesco-listed palace of La Venaria Reale is a baroque monument with 196,000 square meters (2,109,726 square feet) of stucco and 1600 square meters (17,222 square feet) of exquisite wall and ceiling frescoes.
This being has been improved over the last two years! The garden is fantastic. My recommended period to visit it is between May-Jun.

It was so beautiful building. Garden was fantastic, too. I paid full ticket which was 20€. Worth to pay for sure. There is a restaurant in the garden but menu is limited. Not only castle but looking around small town around castle is good too. Many cozy cafe and restaurants are there.

(Translated by Google) To visit if you have the opportunity, the castle no longer has the original interior decorations. The explanatory texts are available in English, but many descriptions are only in Italian. I didn't do the garden because it was raining.

Impressive palace with beautiful gardens, justly made a UNESCO world heritage. The Reggia di Venaria Reale is a huge palace that started as the hunting lodge of the Savoia noble and royal family near the mountains, north of Turin. It is a vaste complex of grand halls and chambers. You can follow a tour through these rooms, many of which are finely decorated and contain some nice paintings. The grand gallery is one of the showpieces. The stables hold the prince’s beautiful boat and nice carriages. The palace is surrounded by wonderful gardens. There is a nice shop and a good bar in the palace. You can park nearby. Well worth a visit if you like grand palaces and gardens.

Exuberant royal palace and gardens a lot of historical stuff if you like that sort of thing the express bus at €7 return from Turin was great value entrance €20 was good by UK prices. The gardens were stunning. Half a day minimum time required to do this justification.

The Reggia di Venaria is a former royal residence and gardens located in Venaria near Tuein, with 80,000m² in palace area and over 950.000m² in premises, it is one of the largest palaces in the world. The Palace was designed and built from 1675. The garden there was so big and beautiful that we walked for about 2 hours.

Nice place to spend the day off. The big park with big trees and a few artificial lakes. There is a caffè in the territory of Park but also there are a lot of traditional Italian restaurants outside.

The Castello de La Mandria is a famous palace in the Italian region of Piedmont, located 2.5 km from the Reggia di Venaria Reale and accessible by the shuttle bus Venaria Express. It is one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, and features an extensive park that was once used as a retreat by King Emanuele Vittorio II. The castle is also home to a museum dedicated to the life and times of the Savoia dynasty.
Charming, friendly and helpful staff. Fascinating interiors, often with beautiful views towards The Alps. They give an interesting glimpse of the domestic life of the king, his mistress and their family. Attractive grounds too.

Nice pallazzo, the tour is about 45 min. But, and it is a very big BUT. It dies not worth the effort, it is about half an hour waking from venaria palace, you can not do it through the park ( such a pity), thete is no shuttle only yours feet

An amazing hidden gem right in the heart of the park of La Mandria! Just a shot away from Venaria Reale, it's totally worth visiting in combination with the reggia. The park itself is massive and you can rent bikes or have a pic-nic. The story about the castle is extremely interesting and even though unfortunately no guided tours are allowed at the moment due to Covid restrictions, if you ask the people at the desk they will be more than happy to tell you more about the caste and the bella Rosina! Lovely place!

I spent my Birthday here just by visiting and sightseeing th9is place. If you want to kip the crowd come in the bare opening of palace, groups are usually coming after hour from opening. In this palace, you will see a lot of things, I spent here 4 hours. Price of the food and vine are normal and affordable so you can eat and drink vine and enjoy the view in the palace royal gardens. The only bad thing about this place is public transportation because online timetable is not connected with online written on the bus stop plus they both are not connected to the bus so basically is lottery when the bus will arrive.
Nastja Prodanic — Google review
This building is part of "La Venaria Reale", a wonderful residence which belonged to the Savoy family (the former Italian Royal family), that existed for several centuries and that was still enlarged and embellished to its current shape in the 18th century. It is part of the "Corona di Delizie", the eleven most sumptuous royal residences of the family in the area around Torino, which was once the capital of the kingdom. The residence was intended as a vacation place and also as a base for hunting sport activities. During these holiday periods, important social events such as parties and balls were also held there, and for these the Galleria Grande was a perfect and magnificent location.

The surrounding environment is absolutely marvelous and a break in one of the locals is highly recommended. The video of the actors later on had an extremely loud volume that was annoyingly disturbing.

In front of the civil hospital there is the column of the SS. Annunziata. Under the two very characteristic columns are the two fountains with Torèt. We went to this restaurant recommended by friends, and what can I say... a sweet surprise! The restaurant is located very close to the Royal Palace, it's cozy, the service is excellent, clean, the dishes are simple and delicious, and they are well taken care of down to the smallest detail. We returned several times to try as many dishes as possible from the menu and specials. Great value for money, and the owners are always attentive to every request. My favorite dish is the veal with tuna sauce, not to be missed! It's an excellent restaurant to taste typical Piedmontese dishes. The appetizers are very good, the first and second courses are excellent, and the desserts are delicious, all made with quality products. The restaurant is not very big, but it has several hidden rooms, all very well furnished. The staff is courteous and helpful. Good value for money. It is recommended to make a reservation, highly recommended restaurant! A small recap of all traditional dishes: Vitello tonnato: cold sliced veal with a creamy tuna sauce Carne cruda all'albese: raw beef seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese Agnolotti del plin: small pasta pockets filled with meat and vegetables, usually served in a broth or butter sauce Tajarin: thin egg noodles served with various sauces, including butter and sage or meat ragù Bagna cauda: a warm dip made with garlic, anchovies, and olive oil, served with vegetables for dipping Brasato al Barolo: beef braised in Barolo wine with vegetables and herbs Bunet: a chocolate and amaretti pudding, often served with whipped cream Bonet: a dessert made with cocoa, eggs, milk, and amaretti cookies, usually served chilled

What do you need to know, local specialitys feature in this small and friendly restaurant. I was lucky enough to be served first by an attentive waitress who sorted water bread and order taking, talking knowledgeably about the menu items. Plenty of very good wine by the glass we oppted for a glass of very fine musky red Barolo at only 12 euro a glass great to be able to drink fine wine with out the cost of a full bottle. This was followed up with timely delivery of the starters a veal tartar was beautifully presented on crisp clean white crockery. My second plate was gnocchi with swordfish wonderful. My sister in law had a roasted meat sauce agnolotti dish very rich the sauce was intensely flavourful. My brother had a roasted duck breast with baby white onions was cooked to perfection pink but no blood this chef knew how to handle his ingredients. I also had a third plate ( don’t worry whilst not tiny these are not British portions) of octopus in a cooked as expected at this point sublimely, tender and full of flavour. Now no celebration luncheon is complete with out desert, here the chef got playful, matching taste sensations with theatrical verve. A smoke filled dome arrived at the recommendation of the English speaking waited, it did not disappoint. Wonderful crispy cannoli coated in coco words fail me on this one. Just try it. We rounded of with excellent coffee. I didn’t pay so can’t coment on price but average price on menu seemed very very good for the quality. Striving for great service and great food in a nice wine lined eating space and succeeding. Magnificent

We went there to celebrate my boyfriends university graduation. The ambiance was amazing outside. I liked the flowers a lot and how it gave like an old comfy vibe. The rose wine was delightful even though I am not a big wine drinker. The antipasto I got was the sformatino di verdure. There were not much verdure but I liked the taste it had with the tomato sauce. As a primi I had the Gnocchi. The portion was big but I enjoyed them. Also the tiramisu cake they made in the end (after pre-ordering for the graduation) was so yummy. I was definetly full and happy after eating lunch there. Would definitely recommend.

Fine dining restaurant
Dolce Stil Novo, an Italian eatery led by acclaimed chef Alfredo Russo, has garnered recognition from the 2022 Michelin Guide. This establishment is part of a showcase called "Eccellenze del Piemonte in vetrina," which highlights exceptional offerings from Piedmont. In this culinary endeavor, Russo skillfully combines Turin's local products and gastronomic traditions with the exquisite white truffle from Alba and wines sourced from the same region.
It was my second visit to Dolce Stil Novo. My first was 3 years ago and that time had been during a colder season so the menu and experience was completely different. This evening we had dinner outdoors on the terrace, while the last time was indoors. Outside was so beautiful with the views of the garden and the lovely palace brick. The service was really impeccable. I don't eat fish (a preference, not an allergy), and the waitress made sure to even bring a 2nd option of butter for me, as the standard had anchovies in it. I found it particularly thoughtful as bread is not the main focus of a meal for me at least, and they had already oil as another option. It really felt like no detail was too small. Each dish that was brought to the table was perfect. We had the 5 course menu, with the wine tasting, I found the wine to even be unique and pair well with each dish brought. There hadn't been forecast for rain, but just before dessert, there had been some drops of rain. We hoped it was just a few sprinkles, but it really turned into a downpour. The staff was really prepared for the worst. They rushed us to a table inside, and seemed very coordinated. The inside ambiance is just as beautiful, with a lovely marble floor. We finished our meal indoors and were given an umbrella for our walk back to our car. Again, another nice service detail. I highly recommend this restaurant. The value is really there and it's a magical evening.

Food - they taste good though nothing really impressed me. Service - the waitresses spoke English very fast and walked away also very fast after serving the food before I even had a chance to ask questions. It’s the worst service I have experienced in all the Michelin restaurants. Chef - the Chef greeted us in person and we also had a nice short talk after the dinner. This is the first time we got the chance to talk to a Michelin chef and I’m grateful! The amount of food is great and this is the only Michelin restaurant that made me stuffed lol I can’t give a 5 stars because the service level of the waitresses.

The service was amazing and according to the level of the restaurant. We had several waitress for our take that bringed the all the dishes at the same time. Although we were a big group the time we had to wait between dishes some time felt excessive. The wine pairing was good and the amount of wine was abundant but there was little to no explanation on how or why the wine was good combined with the dish. The food was good although some dishes lacked some flavor. The dresser was really good and the final combination of chocolates was really good

We had a wonderful lunch at Dolce Stil Novo. The location outdoors at the Reggia di Venaria overlooking the grounds was gorgeous. The food was a delightful modern take on the local cuisine, filled with little surprises, exciting and satisfying. Dolve Stil Novo was an incredible experience from start to finish. The meal and food was impeccable and they easily accommodated my many allergies. There was a truffle parmesan egg dish that was out of this world, but honestly we immensely enjoyed every course. We did the 5 course tasting menu. Additionally, the experience was one of the best I have ever experienced. From being greeted at the door, to the small touches between courses, the stellar waitstaff and getting to talk with the chef, everything was perfect and special. We enjoyed every aspect and particularly appreciated the time Chef Alfredo took to talk with us and share some tips on the area. Thank you to everyone here that made it spectacular! Make sure to say yes to coffee after your meal!

Fine food and splendid service. Place: It is outskirts of Torino, around 30 mins from the city center. It is on the fourth floor of an old building. Exquisite decoration on in a very cosy environment. You need to book in advance. Service: well coordinated, we were received in the hall and they took care of our coats. The service is according with the prestige of the restaurant. Table, glasses, plates are customized to the detaul. They with delicacy and style. To our impresión and still considering is a degustation menu the service was a bit too slow. Food: we got snail pate and bruschetta as appetizer. Breads with different butters, (anchovies, spring onions, green pepper) Wine pairing 4 glasses. We went for the 9 dishes degustation menu. All of them delicious and tasty. They were kind enough to prepare a plate of plain spaghetti for the kid. This is a fine dining place both if you go for a la carte menu or if you take the degustation menu. Recommended!

Wonderful experience. Nice food, excellent service, fabulous chef. Truely a Michelin Star restaurant. Worth every dollar spent 😎

Pizza restaurant
Il Bergamotto is an old-fashioned restaurant with a terrace that offers traditional specialties, pizzas, and seafood. It is known for its superb cuisine and excellent atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating area in the middle of a cherished piazza in Turin. The staff is polite, efficient, and capable of handling English-speaking guests. The menu includes delicious Italian dishes such as pizza napoletana and various other tasty options.
Very cozy, perfect service, amazing pizza and desserts! High recommend.

Godd Craft beers and good pizzas. Other dishes also looked tasty. Kind local staff. Pizza and something to drink for less than 15€.

Very good food! If you don't mind very rude staff, then try it. Our waiter was very unfriendly and acted like he hated his job. Every time we kindly asked for something, he acted like it was the biggest chore of his life. Not the best experience for bringing our guests from abroad. Just glad the food was good. Not rushing back here.

I loved this restaurant! The cuisine is superb! I enjoyed everything I ordered so much that I even asked to see the chef in the kitchen. Great place to savor the delicious Italian cuisine at its best.

Good pizza, but scarce service, kindness and attention. Found some glasses badly washed.

Good pizzas, nice vino di tavola, nice location, friendly and English-handling staff. Been there some times, will return...

Very low quality. We had stomach ache due to grilled fish. We took the box to go and we gave the remaining fish to our dog. Even the dog pucked..restaurant to be avoided
