Transportation
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a rotating tram car that takes visitors up to the San Jacinto Mountains. It offers an escape from the summer heat, with multiple restaurants and observation decks. Passes are available now, and it is open from mid-March to early November.
It is best to plan your adventure on the tramway a month in advance. Get your tickets online - including a parking pass. We got there at 11 AM and I would not get there earlier because it is much cooler up at elevation than it is down in the valley. The tramway app boasts of maps and more, but it was no use up on the mountain. The lift facility is world class. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. There is a nice deck with a small hike at the mountain house. There is a reasonable lunch spot in the mountain house. We did the overlook/notch hike and I definitely suggest that unless you have young children or someone in your crew who has mobility issues. There is a hike to the peak, but it is a 12 mile loop with a 2,000 foot elevation gain and it was all snowed in over spring break. No thanks. Overall, this is a great and very distinctive experience that I strongly recommend.

First time here. Amazing views. A great hiking trail at the back end of the top. The temperature difference is a good 40*F between the bottom and the top, so prepare accordingly if you're going to be hiking. The Ride & Dine pass is definitely worth it. Otherwise, you have different options for food as there are two other restaurants available. Oh, and bring quarters to use the telescopes! I wish I had known that.

What an incredible experience! Absolutely breathtaking vistas surrounded by the gorgeous scenic mountains. At the peak of the mountain is stunning. I just love the view from way up there. It can get a little busy waiting for the team to take you in either direction, but once you get to the top, there's a beautiful hiking trail to conquer before heading back down. I am looking forward to coming back in the near future, especially in the winter.

Come when it raining/ snowing. It's amazing and fun. Cost $30.95 per person round trip (no reservation) Arrived 11 am, there was a line, bought tickets at 12 pm and waited 1.5 hours for the 1:44 pm slot. There is a little park/dirt area with benches at the back (past the cafe), gift shop, and cafe. Small nature trail view hike is 0.75 miles round trip. Opens 10 am There is three floors when you arrive at the top of tram. You exit at the bottom floor to get to the hike. People brought sleds but didn't see anyone using it. Didn't buy tickets ahead of time, arrived at 11 am , parking lots go from A to J. Was slotted for parking H. If you coming in January, bring winter jackets and proper shoes. Shoes will get wet and it's cold. Family friendly, fun to experience.

One of my favorite places to visit for some snow! Honestly, it’s a bit better than going all the way to Big Bear. It’s just more convenient. I went on March and we got to see lots of snow!!!! It was snowing as well!!! So beautiful. As for tickets, online might say their sold out but if you arrive early when they open which is at 10:00am, they sell some tickets until they sell out so make sure to get there early.

It gets pretty packed in the weekends but a definite must for first time Palm Springs visitors. The views are incredible from the top. Things I wish I had known before going: There are a few hiking trails up there. Bring appropriate shoes as they are very rocky. It's a nice place to enjoy a picnic if you bring your own food. Bring a mask if you're uncomfortable being in very close proximity to people while riding up. Tram cars are standing room only and the next person is less than a foot away. There is a 20-30 degree difference in temperature, so bring a jacket. It wasn't too bad in late April. I can imagine it's pretty windy and chilly in the winter. Hope this helps.

Loved the experience! The staff is very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Would recommend getting there around 7:30-8am if you do not have tickets and need to buy them for the morning. The revolving tram was fun and our little toddler loved it! The view was amazing. We didn't get to venture out into the play area as it was extremely windy for us. We love snow so enjoyed getting to touch it a bit. Will certainly be back in spring to enjoy what else there is to explore.

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a must-visit for anyone who is interested in stunning views, challenging hikes, or simply a unique way to experience the desert. The tram ride is an experience in itself, and the views from the top are simply breathtaking. There are trails for all levels of experience, so you can find something to suit your fitness level. And after a long day of hiking, you can relax and refuel at one of the many restaurants or shops at the top of the mountain.I highly recommend visiting the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway if you are ever in the area. It is an unforgettable experience that you will never forget

Would love to rate this better. That actual tram experience was great. Fabulous staff member and great musical descent coming back in dark (recommend). We booked the tram and dine evening with our two kids. Had a lovely tram ride up, walk around. The film about the tramway was over 20 years old and really needed updating. However, the food in the Pines cafe (including in our ticket) would warrant a 1/5. The service similar. Menu sounded nice but in reality had been sat there for a while. My unfussy 7 year old turned his nose up after trying. The corn on the cob has been in liquid for hours and was revolting. The bread was stale. My beef was inedible. The soda drinks tasted like pipe cleaner. The best bit was the basic salad. Really disappointed. Would not recommend booking the package.
Kate Boothby — Google review
This was our first visit back to the tramway since before the pandemic. We decided to do the ride and dine ticket, which is a great value. The views were fantastic, and we took a short hike in the state park at the top before dinner. Also watched the restored movie of the original tram, The Miracle of Palm Springs. This was our first time taking a return trip at night - we could see the lights of all the desert cities. Overall, it was a great experience.
Ray Frohnhoefer — Google review
It was a nice trip. I paid for $15 entrance fee (or parking lot fee) and $31 for the tram ticket. The best thing of the trip was that I could see Palm Springs city from 8,500 ft above. The bad thing was that each tram was super crowded. They tried to arrange few dozens of people into a small round tram. Surrounded by tall people prevented short people like me from seeing the landscape outside (even the floor of the tram could rotate 360 degrees).
Linh Bui — Google review
I went a couple weeks ago for the very first time! I had a very great time and the view is beautiful! I will for sure be coming back!😍 My visit was last minute planned, so we waited about 2+ hours to get on which is understandable. But it was worth every second!

Our family had a great time at the Aerial Tramway. We had a meal at the summit and took in the views of the valley below. My kids and I played in the snow for over an hour at the summit. We explored through the massive trees and was experience we will truly treasure. I would highly recommend if you're a tourist in the area, check out this place. The views are worth it!

Awesome experience and a unique aerial view of the Desert from 8,514ft. We got tickets at the station on the day. Plenty of parking at $12 per car. The tram was fun, 10-15 min ride, floor revolves while moving. Little daunting but fun. Lovely cafe, restaurant and bar at the summit but not cheap. Plenty of look out areas and hikes to avail of
R Clarke — Google review
This tram is such an awesome experience. My other favorite is at Snowbird in Utah; but that tram does not rotate like this tram. The rotating tram gives you a great view up and down this mountain. Don't worry about the rotating floor. It's slow and smooth. At the top of the tram is the Mountain Station which has food and beverage service; including a bar. There is only one negative about the experience and that's the cost of food and beverages. Just like sporting events and amusement parks, this place charges way too much for food and beverage. A small bottle of water is almost $5 and soda/pop is the same. There's a museum type thing on the lower level and food is on the upper level. If you exit on the back side there are trails to walk and hike. It's $12 to park so be prepared to pay. Other than that folks, enjoy an awesome day and get out of the desert heat 🇺🇸

Really nice ride up and very scenic, When you get to the top, there's an 8K' view and a forest to explore. The visitors center is informative, have bathrooms and food in case you forgot your snack. Worth checking out.
Sonster B — Google review
Everyone must take this team ride to 8,516 elevation. It is so crazy high and only takes 10 min to get up to the top. Amazing views. Best to go up during the day to hike and then come down in the evening to enjoy the lights of the city below
Ahsoka Tano — Google review
Highly recommend!! Make sure to buy your tickets online including parking pass and print them-this part saved us a lot of time. We went on a VERY hot day in Palm Springs. The tram ride was crowded, but it rotates so everyone gets a good view at some point. The tram itself is not air conditioned, but the windows open and it moves right along, so you get pretty good airflow - it only took about 10 minutes. We went up at 4:00 and bought the "Ride and Dine" package, which was a great deal. It was at least 35 degrees cooler at the top. Ate dinner early-limited menu but food was fine. Then we looked around the multi-level building with multiple balconies and picked a place to watch the sun go down. We stayed until after sunset and watched the l8ghts of Palm Springs start to twinkle. We rode the tram down about 8:15 and got an even better view of the lights. I really recommend a similar schedule...it was a really magical evening!

This was a great place. We visited on a Thursday, had to wait 2 hours to go on the tram ride. There was a lot we do as we waited for our turn to go on. It's cheaper after 4pm (approx $3 less). The cafeteria hot chocolate was great to keep us warm. Kids loved the short trails. 😍. The wait to go back down was pretty long... approx 1 hour.
Lamia Khan — Google review
What a great way to spend a day. The wait was long but there was enough to keep us occupied while we waited. The ride to the top was fun but the views from the top were the highlight of the day.
Jeff Blackburn — Google review
Awesome trip on the Aerial Tram from 2,643 feet all the way up to 8,516 feet. The tram ride is a quick 10 minute ride up with trams scheduled every 20 minutes up and down from 10 am until 8 pm. I drove out after work and enjoyed watching the sunset while going up and seeing the city lights at night and enjoying a wonderful dinner at the mountain top restaurant. Great way to end the day on top of the mountain with a cold beer in hand!
Dennis Schneider — Google review
Very scenic ride. The tram can feel pretty crowded on a busy day. I rode the tram back down when the crowd was a bit smaller (before sunset) and I enjoyed the ride a bit more that way. The hiking trails at the top are beautiful and I enjoyed the hike. My father, son, and I went during the 1st week of April and got there around 11am. The wait was already 2.5 hrs by 11am. Probably best to go earlier.
Jenilee Lemieux — Google review
What a cool experience and a must do if you visit Palm Springs. Make sure you pack accordingly because it is a severely different temperature at the top. We got to hike though fresh snow which was a magical experience after leaving the desert floor. Don’t be discouraged if the wait time Is long. There is a gift shop, food, drinks, and some beautiful spots outside to spend your time while you wait on your boarding group. We got to there at about 7:40 on a Saturday morning to no car line wait and were able to purchase tickets for the first 8:00 tram up to the top. If you want to avoid crowds I’d suggest the earlier time on the weekends instead of the 10:00 tram during the week. You could also do the after 4pm passes which sounded nice, and look out at the lights of the city as the sun sets. My husband and I had a great experience and would totally go back for our next visit to Palm Springs.
Gregory Garrett — Google review
We didn't get tickets in advance and had to wait approx 2 hours to go up but it was totally worth it! The ride up/down itself is very cool with great views. Then up top there's a beautiful forest! Made me feel like I wasn't even in California. Remember to bring warm clothes though as it's cold up top! We ate at the restaurant (Peaks) for lunch which had a very impressive view and had reasonable lunch prices all things considered.
Lauren Schwartzbard — Google review
Awesome experience to go 8,000 feet from desert level up into the mountains in a slow spinning tram! There can be a bit of a wait on peak days/times but there are cute little trails behind the tram station, a place to eat, a little waterfall and an aerial tram viewing deck. Up on the mountain side, there is a steep path to go down and explore, if so desired, as well as a visitor center and a restaurant. Definitely an experience I recommend!

Museums
The Palm Springs Art Museum is a prestigious heritage-rich museum that features world-renowned artworks from different periods and genres. The permanent collection of the Palm Springs Art Museum is diverse and includes pieces by some of the most famous masters in the history of art.
I went on a Sunday, and they were having an issue with their ticketing system so they let me in for free, a fun surprise, and thank you. Peaceful inside, exhibits on display are timely and interesting. Dwayne Hansen‘s Old Couple on a Bench was particularly well done and disturbing… At least for me. When I walked around the corner I thought this older couple was just tired and sitting, looking forward and disconnected from each other. As I stepped closer I realized that they weren’t real. Hansen captured an older couple so bored and disconnected, seemingly unfulfilled and out of time, out of shape, from what I gather neither having found passion… it made me cry because it captured an incredibly real fear of mine. To get to that stage of my life not having realized dreams or passion with intensity sounds too horrible to bear, and I found that I just couldn’t look at the older couple for the rest of my time in the museum. I’d like to spend at least one other afternoon at this museum reading through the exhibits again. I was in such a bad place after looking at the older couple that I didn’t appreciate some of the other lighter works.

An incredible variety of beautiful art. The permanent Pure, Simple, and Beautiful Forms: Glass Collection is a must see. Stunning colours and visually appealing. Lawrence Schiller’s the 60s images captured so well that takes you back in time. Museum has a cafe which is nicely tucked in surrounding art everywhere. A must visit museum.

Love all the temporary and permanent installments of the museum. When we visited, they had a lot of Mexican artists and a couple ancient Mexican tribe prices, specifically Olmec. The staff here are simply amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in PS.

Very nice art museum nestled on the back side of the downtown park. Three levels, with a large variety of mediums and artists - from glass work to modern pieces to much older oil on canvas style paintings. Would recommend if you’re in the area and looking to get out of the sun for an hour!

In Palm Springs for a few days & my last it was 107°. Looking for things to do inside and this was a great choice. Looks smaller in the pics but was actually bigger than I thought. So glad I checked it out. I was there 90 mins and could've been there way longer very easily. 4 floors, highly recommend.

This museum is a more modern art museum. So don't assume that you'll find any classical pieces. While I am not a big modern art person - this was a fascinating place to visit. On thursdays you can get free tickets from 4-6 pm. Go onto website and order them to simplify your life. They also have 2 sculpture gardens located downstairs. And there are 2 exhibition halls for rotating exhibits. Well worth the trip. And it is located across from the Marilyn Monroe statue

Cute tittle museum. It won’t overwhelm you but it will satisfy you. They have beautiful art and always changing their displays. Very well kept. Their bistro was closed though so we didn’t get to enjoy that part of it I don’t remember the dates but they do close it during some months in the year so call before you go. It cost us $28 to enter. $14 per adult My children ages 10 and 12 were free. Go and enjoy some art and get out of the heat :)

This was a nice way to spend some time looking at some art in downtown Palm Springs. There are three floors of installations, and a theatre in the basement for moving showings they have. We went on a Thursday evening when they offer free admission. Book those entry tickets in advance!

Came on a weekday before 6pm because it is free! This museum is was extremely awesome! Actually exceeded my expectation and had a nice time walking around the museum and seeing all the pieces. Spent about an hour at this place and was not disappointed at all. They had more things downstairs, but I completely missed it and only realized once we left.

The Palm Springs Art Museum in its Architect and Design Building have a small but beautiful building. The exhibit was worth visiting but the high point is the shop with design items and a specialized bookstore with the best selection I’ve seen of modernism and mid century modern. A must visit!

Great museum with a diverse mix of art and artists. $16 ticket entry for adults is definitely worth it to see some great artists (Bourgeois, Picasso, Calder, Gilliam, Frankenthaller & many more!)

I feel that The Art Museum is truly the heart of Palm Springs. Tucked against those awesome mountains and surrounded by Palm Trees in that absolutely precious little park with a water feature and chairs every where. The ambience is always changing with the Art exibitions just across the street.
Normarina Roldan — Google review
Has 3 levels, including a lower level and an outside sculpture garden. Stairs and elevators available. It’s kinda quiet and echo-y and there are some delicate pieces, like the glass sculptures, so probably not the best or most interesting experience for very young children, but I saw a few families while there. There are a few bathrooms available including an all gender restroom on the main floor. A great and contemplative afternoon, especially if you want a softer experience after shopping and walking all day.
Casandra — Google review
The modern art shines at this jewel in the desert. Visitors are "greeted" outside by a several stories tall sculpture of Marilyn Monroe. Inside the collection spans modern, native American, glass, and photography.. There is a cafe with adjoining sculpture garden for outdoor dining. The 1968 Chevy Malibu suspended vertically above the ground is thought provoking.
Stacey Quandt — Google review
Well worth the trip!!! I have been a local resident here in the desert since 2001 and have never come to an exhibit at the museum. I happen to see one of the artists speak at an event and it inspired me to take my family to the museum. My kids are between 8 and 13 so going to a museum can be dubious but I was willing to take a chance with the LIGHT and CHANGE exhibit and it paid off. My whole family loved it and we highly recommend it.
Seth Harper — Google review
This is a fun museum, the exhibits are clever and exciting, not stuffy at all. Summer nights open free after 5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They bring out a dj and music pumping. Gift store had amazing ingenious little pieces of art to take home in bags and vases and just gorgeous things.
Gina Gugli — Google review
Really interesting exhibits I loved the diversity of the different pieces and I discovered that my interest is now more in 3D pieces than painting. I would recommend a visit. Just as an aside, the restaurant was closed which was an inconvenience as I struggle with my mobility and sitting down with a drink would have been great. Also I thought that the gift shop was very overpriced.
Charlotte Thorpe-Mathias — Google review
Really nice museum. They have some modern and some western pieces. Takes about 1.5- 2 hours to cruise through. Perfect afternoon visit in the heat as they also have amazing airconditioning.

Lovely regional museum with an incredible collection. There was teens singing and a great show by emerging artist Alake Shilling. Great time had by all. Might go back a second day in a row! We love

Explored the Palm Springs Art Museum recently. Used to think contemporary art wasn't my thing, but some pieces left a lasting impression. While not every exhibit resonated with me, I hope that in this museum, everyone can discover something that speaks to them. 🎨✨

I highly recommend this Art Museum. Thursday nights are free for entry. It was such a nice and expierence. The staff was very helpful and full of knowledge. It was 2 levels not counting the exterior areas. There was music playing outside and drinks/bites to enjoy. There was such a mixture of generas, eras and perceptions of art that challeneged my mind to think outside the box!

Very interesting pieces at this museum that I have never seen before. I enjoyed the layout, cleanliness, and beauty of this facility. I don't want to give too much away, but it's definitely worth driving to. You'll discover three floors of beautiful art pieces. Enjoy your time there.
Christopher Kalt,Sr. (CLK Video Productions) — Google review
I really really enjoyed it here. The Piassco painting is awesome. The 2nd and 3rd levels show various art pictures. A great time to spend a few hours looking the world through others' eyes and art forms.
Michael Reyes — Google review
We came to visit the museum during free admission hours so it was very crowded, but I still enjoyed it thoroughly. The museum had beverages including wine and beer, alongside of a small service of snacks available for a fee. The museum has an exceptional layout making it easy for you to view all of the artwork. Even if the museum is busy. We particularly enjoyed the Picasso exhibit that was here when we were here. The museum is a very easy short walk from downtown Palm springs where there is a variety of restaurants and activities. And the plaza between the museum and downtown includes a massive sculpture of Marilyn Monroe. That's a great photo opportunity.

The Palm Springs Visitors Center is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in the city's iconic mid-century modern architecture. Located in a beautifully restored former gas station, the center offers a variety of resources, including maps, postcards, gifts and logo clothing that showcase the unique design aesthetic of the area. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions and events, making it an excellent starting point for exploring all that Palm Springs has to offer.
Posting a review just in time for National Historic Marker Day, the last Friday in April! This former Tramway Gas Station was built in 1965 according to Historic Site Preservation Board #33. Although we've been to Palm Springs many times over the years, hubs and I just checked out this Visitors Center summer 2021. So glad we stopped, plenty of interesting stuff to check out both inside and around this cool building!

Palm Springs has been on my bucket list for about 20 years. I walked in and I was sold a map that showed where all the mid century modern homes where I was thrilled. Best $5 I could spend. I loved driving around and seeing all of the beautiful houses. There are lots of shops and the staff and people there were very friendly. Highly recommend checking this visitor center out as it used to be an old service station that they have restored and saved. I love the preservation of this town and I can't wait to come back.

OK - basic info on Palm Springs . David was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were particularly interested in finding a map on the architecture viewing and they had a map for sale. It was somewhat helpful, but difficult to use since the map left out many streets and showed the houses inaccurately. Not the Visitor Centers fault, but street numbers are hard to find and many houses are hidden by fences and vegetation. Still, a nice tour!

This place used to be a gas station and they kept the sweeping pointed awning, which is cool! There is a fun place to take a photo by a Welcome to Palm Springs sign. Plus there are souvenirs and a penny stamping machine inside.

Great spot with very good information service. Even the touristy swag they have is tolerable and fun. Views of the mountains from the parking lot are impressive and of course, the building too. Drive up the mount takes you to the tram as well. FYI, they don't sell tickets for the team at this venue.

Must do in PSP!! Tons of great trails from easy to difficult. Lots of scenic vistas worth multiple visits. The $7.00 seniors rate is also bonus. Be sure to bring some water and wear sturdy shoes. One of our favorite spots.
John Doe — Google review
I definitely recommend visiting early in the day- not because the trails are long or difficult but because it gets unbelievably HOT and some trails have no shade. Definitely recommend you do the Palm Canyon and Andreas Canyon loops- both are scenic and easy. You may be wondering why I only rated Indian Canyons 3 stars. The reason is because nearly all the workers I interacted with (including a park ranger) were unfriendly- I will give a shout out to the maintenance workers though, didn’t interact with them but I saw them working hard cleaning up Palm Tree debris at the Palm Canyon area. On one trail someone placed a dirty diaper in the middle of the trail- gross. Also worth mentioning- there is no visitors center here. The only place to buy water is at the Trading Post in the park- we didn’t see any water bottle refill stations. All in all- yes I recommend this place for the natural beauty. Would I return? Most likely not. Why? Because of the workers that I interacted with. Keep in mind there is a fee of $12 per person to enter this park- there are discounts available for students, seniors, children, military, etc.

$15 adult entrance fee per person. Well worth it. No dogs allowed. The drive in is pretty scenic. The oasis in the desert is simply amazing. Natural wonder and beauty. Lots of hiking trails for those adventurous. Make sure you bring some water if heading out on the trails!

Andreas Canyon is a lovely one hour loop hike that's mostly shaded. It's home to the world’s second-largest California Fan Palm oasis. We all loved it so much. We went early in the morning (around 9:30am in April) which was perfect. Cost was $12 per adult which we paid at the ranger station. They accepted a credit card. Great for kids. Love seeing all this water in the desert.Just watch for rattle snakes. We didn't see any but other hikers told us they had seen one. I would go again. It really was so amazing!

You talk about magic... I couldn't believe this place existed in the desert, let alone California. It's a peaceful oasis with some amazing views and trails to hike. You can swim in certain areas that are surrounded by rocks and other nature elements. Truly captivating. If you're looking for a place to rest, relax, meditate or just to enjoy a day in nature, then check this place out.

Beautiful scenery. Huge variety of hiking trails. Bring appropriate shoes. $15 entrance fee but could occupy whole day if equipped. Staff at entrance station sharp and unfriendly but that’s fine. Natural beauty unspoiled.

A great outing for both enthusiasts and more casual walkers. Roads, trails, and signage are much like a national park. Trails are variously rated from relatively easy to tougher ones. It’s best to get there at the 0800 opening because, by mid-morning, it gets fairly hot – at least in April when we were there. (It’s hard to image afternoons especially in May and June. Arguably the best place in Palm Springs. Multi-level trails perfect for different age groups and hiking abilities. Checkout the 1.2 mile Andreas Canyon loop. The trail follows a stream and stretch of Palm trees, providing you with shade from the hot Sun. There's also a snack shop and restrooms. Try and find the hidden waterfall. You won't be disappointed.

Second time here and it's superb. Not for disabled folks for sure as its a challenging walk with lots of rocks. Scenery is outstanding and breathtaking views. Definitely a must visit. Get here by 11am as car park fills up quickly at Andrea

The hike from Murray canyon to the seven sisters' waterfall was stunning! Weaving in and out of an oasis in the desert is unlike anything I've ever experienced. One thing to remember is to get wet often. It will keep you cool as you hike the desert terrain and make your way behind the waterfall. It is an amazing place to hang out. I'll definitely be revisiting this place again and again. The cost is $12 per PERSON, not per vehicle. You can purchase your ticket online very easily.

This is a must-visit for anyone visiting Palm Springs! The Indian Canyons are a beautiful oasis in the desert. There are several different trails to choose from, so you can find one that fits your fitness level. The views from the top of the canyons are so Nice 👍🏻

Amazingly beautiful place in the middle of dessert. I had never seen oasis before in my life before but after seeing this I realized how beautiful Oasis are. Nobody can imagine in the middle of dry dessert there could be water fall, greenery and palm trees. One very important thing this place is habitat of Rattle snake so beware if it and mountain lions can also be spotted.

Beautiful hike to do with the family or friends. Only thing is that Indian Canyons is much more pricier than paying for Banff National Park or any other National Park I've been to. Overall is extremely clean and the views are breathtaking! If you go in the summer make sure to take plenty of water and snacks! Winter cover up! It a very dry cold! Highly Recommended!

Palm Canyon is one of the areas of great beauty in Western North America. Its indigenous flora and fauna, which the Cahuilla people so expertly used, and its abundant Washingtonia filifera (California Fan Palm) are breathtaking contrasts to the stark rocky gorges and barren desert lands beyond. We did these trails, recommend it Palm Canyon Trail - 2.6 miles easy Andrea's Canyon - 1.5 miles easy West Fork Fall - 300 meters easy Murray Canyon to Wayward Mine Trail - 6 miles hard but worth it. Finished all trails in 6 hours with breaks . Recommended Electrolytes, water, hat, and good comfortable shoes with good grip, something saltine will help if you want to do all of them. They have bathrooms in every trail before start. Enjoy the trails and please leave no trace.

One of our favorite hiking locations and HIGHLY recommended..! Specifically the Palm Canyon, Andreas Canyon, and Murray Canyon / Seven Sisters hikes. Admission was $12 / adult but they did provide a nice first responder free admission, too..! Bathrooms with water stations were available and we had cell reception through most of the park. Make sure you bring water - but the Trading Post has Gatorade or water if needs be for very reasonable prices..!

The Indian Canyons are simply stunning to say the least- there are a wide array of trails, seasonal creeks and waterfalls and a cute gift shop with outdoor seating and nearby restrooms! It is one of our favorite places for a family hike. There is an entry fee.
San Diego Family Adventures — Google review
Drove in to do the Palm Canyon/Victor 3 mile trail. $12 entry for adult. Line up to pay was only a few cars and maybe 5 minutes. The day we went there was lots of parking. Outhouses to use at the trailhead and a little gift shop. The walk took us through a Palm forest and then above where you could look down on the Palm forest. Sadly, a lot of the palms have been burnt. It was a very nice easy/moderate hike. I love that they have several different hikes and trails to choose from. It’s a little pricey when compared to the amazing free hikes in Palm Springs, but I still enjoyed it.

The Moorten Botanical Garden is a 1-acre garden that features a wide range of plants, including desert plants. It is open since 1939 and has an interesting history.
What a great stop on the way to the airport! We were in a bit of a hurry for our flight, so went through the space kind of quickly, about 20 minutes. Ideally we would have spent about an hour there. The signs were great to know what you were looking at. A beautiful, sunny and comfortable day made it perfect! $5 a person was very reasonable for the nice space.

This is a beautiful cactus garden that was so fun to explore on our last day. They have so many of varieties we've never seen before. They have desert tortoises too who were fun to watch. They have a great succulent selection and it's affordable. If I lived closer I would have bought them all, but sadly I couldn't take any with me on the plane. Great stop! We also saw a hummingbird and a baby in her nest!

Perfect introduction to the world of cacti and desert plants! It’s a small botanical garden near downtown Palm Springs, so if you wouldn’t normally be attracted to a botanical garden you should give it a try. Lots of mature species, with some unusual and intriguing plants. They have a selection for sale too.

Loved this cozy, authentic, family-owned & operated arboretum (Grandpa & Granddaughter were running it the day we visited ❤️). All of the 3,000+ plants were labeled, and organized in this wonderful, oasis. Loved the enclosed green house, "Cactarium" with tons or gorgeous cacti varieties. Founded in 1938. Wear walking shoes & dress appropriately, you follow a dusty, uneven trail. Loving my 5 purchased cacti that i brought back to NJ!! Well worth a few hours of your day - Enjoy!

Morten Botanical Garden was a nice surprise. We were greeted by the owners, and explored tiny but thoughtfully arranged garden. Agave and hundreds of other cactuses were everywhere with hummingbirds flying around. At the end we bought a few plants for our garden. Nice experience for 30 min

Such a unique botanical garden. Many cacti to see. Loved that it was dog friendly, only $5 for admission, and parking was free. It didn’t take us long to walk through the entire garden, but it was the perfect stop while visiting Palm Springs. They also have a variety of plants available to purchase.

Super beautiful cactus garden! Good for photography. Took hundreds of photos here. Most people would spend an hour here. Street parking beside the garden is free. Garden entry is not free, but price is acceptable. Rest room is also available on site. You can buy a small cactus from the gift shop as well.

Moorten Botanical Garden captivates visitors with its rich diversity of desert plants, showcasing an array of striking and unique specimens. The garden's well-organized layout and informative displays create an educational yet visually appealing environment, making it a noteworthy stop for those interested in exploring the beauty and resilience of desert flora. I may have lost my shots of the garden itself but was able to keep my shots of their amazing tortuga!

If you have a fondness for plants, especially cacti 🌵, this place is a must-visit. They have a wide array of cactus varieties 🌵. It's not only enjoyable but also a great learning experience for kids. Each tree is labeled with its name, and you can even spot a big turtle 🐢 and various birds. They offer local artists' clay pots for sale, as well as different types of cacti. It's a small and simple spot, but well worth a visit for cactus enthusiasts.

I had an incredible time at the Morten Botanical Garden. I was really impressed with every twist and turn of the gardens path. It’s hard to believe that so many of these amazing plants are all so close together and living in harmony. The cactarium is stunning as well. The admission is $5 dollars and they have a nice selection of cuttings from plants and pottery for sale if you are interested. It’s such a peaceful spot, I am very glad that I went!

Our first visit was today, and we loved the variety of plants and the arrangement of them. There were lots of signage showing the names of the plants with their Latin names. There are lots of birds to photograph as well as a huge collection of desert 🏜 foliage. And there were lots of rest areas in the shade. A very pleasant experience.

This was a cute little Botanical garden in Palm Springs. You definitely have to visit if you're in town, and it's only $5. I'm a cactus lover, so I was in heaven 😁 it's well guided, and you can even purchase items at the end. I will definitely be returning.

I have been driving past the world's oldest cactarium for years now. I love cactus and finally went into the garden. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the amazing plants and how old they must be. It felt like I took a step back in time. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable! Oh, and I bought a small cacti online with no soil dry roots for 12$. They had it for 6$. Trust me, you won't find better prices .The Saguaro cacti grows an inch and a half roughly every TEN years. Give that some thought when you are looking at these awesome displays of life in this desert 🏜

I absolutely loved the Moorten Botanical Garden! It’s a great spot to relax and meander through all of the succulents and drought tolerant plants. They even have a couple of adorable tortoises! At the end of the self-guided tour they have various succulents and things available for purchase. This is a fun little activity for the family.
Lara — Google review
Small and very quick to buy tickets and get started on a self guided tour. They give you a little paper map, but it’s not necessary to find your way around. In addition to the cacti and succulents, I saw plenty of little birds (a hummingbird too!), a few little lizards scurrying thru and ofc the tortoise on the green grass munching away! Wish I had room in my suitcase to take all the plants and cool pottery from the gift shop home! If you like desert plants this is a perfect stop!

This was a highlight of our time in Palm Springs. It’s PACKED with unique cacti, bigger than I’ve ever seen. There were also many hummingbirds.

A zen zone here at the Moorten Botanical Gardens! The cacti from various regions from Sonoran desert to all around the world. Winding paths and soaring succulents give you a sense of calming energy. If you take your time, you may be fortunate to spot a lizard sunning itself, and hummingbirds swirling by. Minerals such as malachite serpentine and petrified wood scatter the trail. It was an honor to stop by and visit these gardens in Palm Springs. Our thanks to the Moorten family!

Moorten is a small botanical garden that specializes in cacti and succulents. It includes the "world's first cactarium," an indoor collection of smaller cacti. The garden is also home to some desert tortoises, but since it was winter, they were hibernating. The entry fee is low ($5) and a visit is an hour well spent.

Sandfish Sushi and Whiskey is a high-end sushi and seafood restaurant that features an extensive Japanese whiskey collection. The restaurant's modern approach to sushi blends traditional Japanese techniques with global tastes, resulting in one of Palm Springs' hottest dining spots. The menu offers a variety of sashimi, carpaccios and seasonal goods like squash blossoms that are best enjoyed with cocktails featuring desert-foraged herbs.
Celebrated 15 years of Marriage here and the staff, food and decor were amazing. She loves Sushi and I love Whiskey so this place was perfect for us. The Bartender visited our table to answer annoying questions about specific drinks and offered samples of whiskey. I didn't NEED the samples but why would I say no... The server was very knowledgeable and informed us at every course exactly what we were about to eat and it was a rewarding g and informative experience.

In tonight, from Sacramento. Our time share, recommended Sandfish for Sushi. Parking is an issue, if you did know that Parking is rare like Unicorns 🦄. We spotted one right in front of the restaurant. Our server was very good. I cannot remember his name. The accent was very strong. The food we ordered was very good. The Venue Roll, spicy edamame, and the Albacore were excellent and presented nicely. #Justhavingfun

We just had the best meal here! Everything was delicious. We tried the special small bite appetizer they had for the night and chef Tony even made another special small bite for us. We are so happy we got to try this place during our visit to Palm Springs. Our server Andrew was super knowledgeable and everything he suggested hit the mark with our taste buds!

Outstanding sushi and drinks! We had a very nice experience. The service was top notch - very friendly and attentive staff. It was a cold & breezy April night, so we were glad we made reservations to dine inside the restaurant. IMPORTANT: Make reservations ahead of time! We had 6:45 reservations and overhead two different parties of two attempt to put them name in and the next available time was 9:00pm - on a Tuesday night!

Delayed revise from 2021. We got here on a down season and dinner was a little windy. We sit outside. Service is top notch. I can’t ask for more. They are very accommodating for a last minute reservation as it’s not busy. Food is delicious and the quality is very very top. I love the food and definitely a date spot for any occasion. Ambiance is romantic. It’s right on a main road and I would suggest indoor seats.

This restaurant in Palm Springs was recommended by multiple "top places to eat in Palm Springs" articles. The sushi here is imported from all over the world and was very high quality. Our server, Josh, has been serving here for 5+ years. He was very knowledgeable and an A+ server. We allowed him to pick all of his favorite dishes to serve our party of 5 and every single dish that came out was amazing! Our favorite dishes were the Sandfish and the octopus. We will be visiting this spot every time we visit Palm Springs.

Had a good time here. Plenty of outdoor seating, not a fan of the containers trend but they work fine here. All plates were good, food was fresh and did not disappoint. Had a reservation but waited a bit. Our server was really attentive and friendly.

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Bathroom 2/10 For a restaurant that I'm spending typically over $100 at, I want the bathroom to smell nice, not be covered in pee, and overflowing garbage cans. This place is well worth the wait and the servers have amazing recommendations, but one co-ed bathroom isn't cutting it.
Chloe Mac — Google review
Sorry to say that Sandfish was a big disappointment. The food was just mediocre; and for the quality, severely overpriced. We ordered Shishito Peppers, Spicy Edamame, Yellowtail Sashimi for starters and Albacore Tataki, The Scandinavia, The Lollipop, The Venue and The Experiment for mains. The Spicy Edamame (although not spicy AT ALL) was probably the best part of our meal. The Shishito Peppers were also good, but didn’t have the sweet and spicy taste that was described; they seemed to simply be salted and were definitely spicy so be careful if you can’t handle spice. The biggest disappointment was the Yellowtail which tasted fishy. We eat sushi a lot and always order yellowtail sashimi or carpaccio and never have we been served yellowtail that was fishy tasting until our visit to Sandfish. The Albacore Tataki was okay but it too had a bit of a fishy taste and was not as buttery as albacore usually is when I order it elsewhere. The rolls were all decent but we’ve had much better rolls other places for much less than the price Sandfish charges. The Experiment was probably the best roll we had as it had a crisp and fresh taste; but again, it was nothing special. The cocktail I ordered was delicious but I can’t remember what it was called. We are local to Palm Springs and will not be going back to Sandfish as there are other places in PS, and the surrounding desert cities, that have much better sushi. Just to be clear, it is not the price of the menu items that will keep us from returning. For us, when the bill comes and food was excellent we’re not concerned about the price we’re paying. However, when the food is unimpressive and the bill is comparable to high end restaurants, where you expect an excellent meal, it leaves you feeling a bit cheated.

This is a chic little sushi spot in the heart of Palm Springs. The prices are a bit steep but the food seemed to be of high quality and that’s definitely what you want when having sushi! We tried the chicken gyoza, spider roll, California roll, and various sushi. Everything was very good and the service was great. The staff were friendly, and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. This is a great date night spot. It’s a small restaurant, but they also have a nice outdoor seating area.
Lara — Google review
Highly recommended by word of mouth and on the infatuation. Overall, place was cool, lights of heat lamps to combat those desert winds, a helpful and warm waiter and solid sushi. The zucchini blossoms were good - very light on the batter which is my preference. We ordered four rolls of sushi but the koko roll and the venue roll were the favorites!

My fiancé and I really enjoyed Sandfish. The service was really good and the restaurant had a very cute interior, perfect for date night. The food was amazing too. The sushi rolls were so fresh and the cocktails were amazing as well. I would definitely visit here again when I’m in the Palm Springs area because the vibe was amazing and it lived up to the reviews that I read on Google and yelp. Great prices to portion size too.

Innovative menu that lived up to hype. Omakase cocktail was wonderful, spicy tuna Costa delicious, braised and grilled octopus over damage hummus was the most tender octopus I've had in years. Not a fan of rolls but the Sandfish roll was outstanding. Great assortment of whiskies. 5 star experience!

In Palm Springs and wanted sushi. We had been to this place before and were so happy it was so close to where we were staying. We made reservations online for the two of us. Then we met another couple at the hotel that decided to join us. Reservations are definitely recommended as this place is popular. We called and asked to add two more to our party and it was no problem. Because we made reservations only one day ahead we were only able to choose outside patio. Inside is smaller but the patio was great as the weather was warm. We ordered drinks and they were out quickly. When drinks were delivered they took our order. Just minutes later the food began to arrive. Seaweed salad was great. Rolls are unique with names, flavor and presentation. They were amongst the best we have had. The sashimi plate was decadent but a little on the smaller side. Price point is on the higher end for sushi but quality and service match. Next time we are in Palm Springs we will be going here too
David Molner — Google review
We got the fixed menu and everything was a little bit on the tasteless side for the price that you pay. The best thing we got were a couple of sushi pieces. The framing job for the art on the walls was a little outdated but the rest of the restaurant was nice.

Had the best sushi I’ve ever had a few months ago at Sandfish Sushi & Whiskey. Such a special spot with gorgeous decor and incredible service. Only downside is we were sat quite close to the door and it is a very busy place, with tons of people coming and going! The restaurant itself is small but quaint. If you're looking for a taste of Vietnam in Palm Springs, Rooster and the Pig is your go-to. With eclectic food and inventive cocktails, this restaurant is always busy. It can be tough to snag a table, but it's worth the wait - especially for those irresistibly addictive mango-stuffed rice paper rolls.
The wait is a bit long, so prepare yourself. However, the food is well worth the wait. Service was good. Good selection of beverages and food. This go around, I had the meatballs and peppered calamari for an appetizer. Main dishes, I did the crispy beef and the panko chicken stuffed curry ball.

As a Vietnamese myself, this place make me feel like home, like I’m back to Vietnam. With a modern twist, cozy ambiance and the old Vietnamese newspapers wall. Unique cocktails and Vietnamese-inspired dishes, it’s one of a kind and definitely not your typical Vietnamese restaurant in your imagine. Check this place out, happy that it’s finally opening back!!!

Get here early! We arrived at 5:05 and got one of the last available tables. It is SO good and lives up to the hype. The chicken dumplings had a nice spicy flavor without being overpowering and the chicken stuffed curry ball was a fun twist on Japanese classic curry.

Enjoyed our food at Rooster and the Pig. Saigon 76 cocktail is a must try and we enjoyed the shrimp spring rolls, five spice chicken, sauteed eggplant, and a beef dish. Place can get busy and does not take reservations. Stood in line even before they opened but enjoyed our meal!

This was high on my list when visiting Palm Springs and exceeded my expectations. We put in our name with the host and expected a good wait so we walked nearby to grab a cocktail. We came back and were seated at the bar since we missed our name being called. We prefer the bar so it worked in our favor. Colin, the bartender, was incredible. Our meal was perfect and we ended up getting several recommendations for the area from Colin. It really made our trip! The food was incredible. The chicken curry rice ball was the star of the show.

The food here is so unique and full of flavor! The verbage used on the menu can be confusing and every menu item has long, descriptive names (which makes ordering a mouthful) but everything on the menu is well thought out and absolutely delicious. I particularly like their chicken wing appetizer and the chicken curry ball which looks awesome and is so yummy!

I saw this place from a random guy on YouTube, and I loved it. It’s a tiny venue that’s always full even when the other spots around town are empty…even the ones on the main drag. I came back a couple nights in a row because they did such a good job. I sat at the bar and got great recommendations from the bartender. It’s tough to get in if you’re not alone and willing to sit at the bar, so plan ahead! Everything on the menu, food and drinks, is great. You have to try it!

EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS! Okay...I just had to get that out there. R&P opens at 5, we arrived at 5:01...there were 20/30 people in line. With grace and speed everyone was sat, drink orders taken, and an amuse bouche brought out (small congee). I was just blown away at the speed and efficiency of their kitchen. I thought with everyone seating at once the food would take a long time (plus we ordered a lot of food)- nope everything was quick and so fresh. Our order: Vietnamese crispy rolls Vietnamese beef jerky fresh roll Jasmine Tea Leaf salad Shaking Beef Porkbelly Fried Rice Caramelized Chicken Thai Iced Tea

Delicious. I love how this Vietnamese restaurant has the modern, trendy atmosphere, while maintaining the ability to cook authentic dishes. Mom and Dad loved it! We had the curry ball, duck curry, pork belly fried rice, ox tail, and calamari. Our waiter was awesome too.

The best culinary experience in Palm Spring. Congee as a starter was great. Piqued our curiosity for rest of the dishes and weren’t disappointed. Crispy rice ball in curry and crispy okra were divine. The crispy beef noodles were good for kids on the sweeter side. They made the effort to see to our allergy requirements, so small fear as it was omnipresent sesame. I would highly recommend. And don’t forget to make reservations. The place gets filled at opening at 5pm.

Happy accident. We were headed to another restaurant that happened to be closed. We sat right away with a party of three! Yuzu cocktail was a tad sweet but good. The food was ordered all at once and the server did great in the pacing of our selections. All of our food was just a bit shy of authentic and leaned more on its Cali fusion. For my palette I wanted more heat and spice so I requested sambal sauce. They didn't have nouc cham. The mushroom dish was the stand out since it had Fresno chilies. There are many other dishes that I will return to try. Service was amazing and helpful and great descriptions on our choices.
Salvador R — Google review
Definitely elevated Vietnamese food, maybe even fusion with some dishes. The gin and juzu cocktail was phenomenal. My partner tried it and he doesn’t even drink gin. The Panko crusted curry ball was tasty as it was crispy stuff stuffed with not enough meat for the price but the curry sauce had the perfect amount of flavor and spice for those that like spice and those that can’t handle spice. The Chinese sausage spring roll was a let down. The seafood dish was good but was a lot of work to de-shell everything. The salad was bright and perfect for a hot day. Came with free cold rice porridge. Must order everything all at once according to the server.

Counter Reformation is a speakeasy-like wine bar located in Parker Palm Springs. It has low ceilings and dim lighting, and is designed to resemble a jewelry box. The bar has a smaller lounge area with a fireplace and comfortable couches, and the larger lounge area features hanging chairs. regulars crowd the bar top longing for their vin rouge.
We had a great time! The menu is tapas style and wines by the glass come in 3oz or 5oz. We tried 2 different wines per tapa and it was superb! The food and wine here is always excellent! Laura was our server and she was great! We had the bar singing like we were on an American Idol audition…it was fun!

Adorable place, great ambiance and delicious small bites! Perfect place for a date night (partner, family or friends). Customer service is top tier, our order was input incorrectly and the server proactively took care of us without having to point out the obvious! That’s what great customer service is about, not making the customer feel like they are at fault or having them feel the need to explain themselves. 👏🏼 love the entire hotel in general, our go-to place when we visit Palm Springs!🌴💛

Went here a few years ago and loved it. Good used to be spectacular and the old chef really had a passion for his work. Came back 2 years later, the reservation system was weird but we figured it out and got in without having to pay but we had to eat dinner at 5pm. Coming back; the prices have gotten so crazy!!!!! This place used to be somewhere you could access tasty food and have a fun dinner. Now they are charging 20 dollars for 2 tiny bites of food. It’s insane….and you can tell the chef has changed. Bring back the French chef!!! The staff seemed to have left with him. Enjoyed most of the food but it was still very disappointing. It’s highway robbery. I don’t mind paying for fine dining but the bites of food were too small and too too expensive.

Absolutely gorgeous little bar tucked into the Parker Hotel. Make sure that you get reservations! The Parker is pretty exclusive, and they won’t allow you even to enter the grounds of the hotel unless you have a reservation at one of their bars or restaurants. The service was great, and we enjoyed tasting several wines and multiple tasty treats from their menu. Be sure to get the quail eggs with caviar. Absolutely amazing!

How do I start it? The bar is small and currently only allowed 10ish people, which is good. There is a rule of minimal two plates for a person. I ordered 4 different plates, the presentation is above average. However, their taste were below average. I couldn't tell what it was within the grilles cheese and I just couldn't even finish it. For sure it's on the tip of my wrong choice. Not because it tasted quite bad. It's just bad value.
Maoput — Google review
The place looks really really good, the experience at the wine bar was good, interesting selection of wine and food. We had a great experience. For this, the wine bar will get 5⭐. The negative part came at the end: We made a reservation through their website and cost us $57, which not appeared on the check at the end, so we just lost that money. We talked to the manager but she couldn't refund the amount. After a longer conversation she gave us 2 dessert drinks, but even like that I cannot forget that I was charged so much just to make a reservation. For this part of the experience will be 1⭐. Thank you!

The young woman at the bar was delightful and we very much enjoyed our warm conversations with her and other guests at the bar. Thank you for a lovely moment of connection, delicious wine, and warm bread! Counter Reformation is a must see destination when in Palm Springs!

I absolutely loved it here. Great find for amazing wines and small bites in Palm Springs. The champagne was delicious as well as the octopus. I highly recommend for all wine lovers.i couldn’t resist the fresh out of the oven bread and house made butter.

If you're looking for a restaurant with a sit down table experience, this is not the place for you as it's bar seating only. This didn't bother me much, but just something to be aware of! The food itself was ok. The Jamon was the real winner of everything we tried, which was a bit sad as it's the only thing not prepared by staff. - The macarons are overly sweet which takes away from the foie gras. - The bay oysters, while tasty are very very small on quantity, and not worth a reorder. - the jamon iberico was beautiful, although the pan tomate is prepared differently than it is in Spain (with a tomato spread instead) - the salmon wrapped in cedar was nice, but nothing exquisite. - the beef carpaccio, while tasty, is small and the truffle overpowers. The wines are beautiful, which i do believe is the real winner here! The vibe is very sweet, and the music was amazing - so there's that. It's a sweet date spot.

Restaurant
Boozehounds is a trendy, fun restaurant in North Palm Springs that welcomes dogs. They offer Southern California dishes and cocktails, as well as a lounge area open-air where people can socialize with their furry friends.
Great atmosphere here. Large on site parking spot, and a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Our group of 8 got seated without a reservation which was really cool. The staff were really friendly and helpful, but the food still took a super long time to come out - probably 30 to 45 minutes. Still, the interior is neat and we took a lot of nice photos. The food is great: really loved the french toast and the hash and sopas. Thank you!

First time at this restaurant. Came here for Father’s Day brunch. talked to a few select people who have been here before. this restaurant can be very very good or not so much, depending upon time of the day and menu, and; if it’s 100° outside, the patio areas can be unbearable. Today was a good brunch menu and the weather cooperated. Service staff was very attentive. I got fried chicken and waffle special. I love the fried chicken, waffle was a little sweet for me. The French coffee was great. The dogs loved their menu item. Some of the items on the menu like the honey bacon and the potatoes, have a pepper spice added to them, some of the people at our table loved it, and some not so much. I had a piece of the honey bacon, and I loved it. Wish I could duplicate this at home. .

We loved it here! Went with our shy pup who gets easily overwhelmed by noise but the patio was perfect in noise level and it was also well spaced so that he felt comfortable, too! He had a meal from the dog menu which he devoured, haha! I love that the portion size was appropriate for him since he’s small and I didn’t want him to overeat and then feel sick. The staff was super nice and I LOVED my salad! DELICIOUS! 12/10 would do again!!!

Food is an afterthought at this amazing dog concept restaurant. Our beagle had tons of friends outside on the patio to play with and he was treated to snacks and love from everyone at the restaurant. He even ate a doggie bowl of tasty looking chicken + rice. The food was great though and we liked everything we ate. The fried fish was delicious and appetizers stood out as well. Great drinks - overall fun place and a must visit if you are in palm springs with your pup.

Very dog friendly! Flavorful and colorful dishes. The chef knows how to create an incredible dish. The Bloody Mary was lacking something. I did appreciate the bacon added to my cocktail. I wasn’t impressed by our server, lacked enthusiasm. The water server and busboy were the friendliest and made conversation with us. The host was also kind and welcoming. I would love to visit again with my dogs next time.

If you like dogs, food, and creative drinks this is the place. It’s a large restaurant with both inside and outside seating. There is a little more space between tables to allow room for dogs. You don’t have to have dogs to go. When we went about 70% of the tables had a dog. The fries, cheese boards, and garlic noodles were our favorites. The dog meals could be a little less expensive or larger in size. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in PS!

Second trip to Boozehounds, this time for brunch! I enjoyed the Coco on the Boulevard cocktail and the vegan dog while on the smaller side was still worth trying. My partner ordered the Poke Avocado toast which was pretty large and quite tasty. Her sister ordered the Karaage Chicken sandwich and it looked good and was pretty large. Happy with brunch and a great location to be in Palm Springs and dog watch!

Amazing food, atmosphere and service, and the most dog friendly restaurant I’ve ever been to. Our server was extremely kind and the drinks were great too. Highly recommend!

This little gem was right next to our hotel and we loved it. Very unique dog friendly restaurant with some great dining choices. Good drink options as well. We loved everything we ate. The fish and chips were a surprise hit, these are a must try if you ever visit. Atmosphere inside is very relaxing despite how popular it is. Our server was really friendly and helped us with dining options.

Very good food. Offered water bowl for my pup. Even had a dog menu which was nice variety. The salad was good the burger bun was dry and a tad stale. The ricotta board was good one side savory one side sweet. Friendly staff.

Absolutely ADORE this restaurant and the staff. Truly, some of the best unique and tantalizing plates of food, fantastic cocktails, gorgeous seating areas (inside and out!) & you get the privilege to bring your well behaved pup to dine with you on the patio! AND they have a pup menu, too! I can't wait to come back and say hi to the always wonderful staff 💓 if you're looking for a fun place for brunch, lunch, dinner - THIS IS THE PLACE!! ((Hands down - the garlic noodles with an over easy egg and a side of kimchi will warm your soul on any given day. Treat yourself to a spicy Boozehounds margarita while you're at it!!))

We had the fun night with our paw boy at this cool place. First of all, if you are a dog lover, this place you have to check, no matter if you like it or not at the end. So many dogs you can meet and of course bring your own dog family members. The food is more like Asian fusion. Very interesting and really good. Big backyard outdoor seating area. The service is good, very nice. But you may have to wait long time cause waitress had many tables and she didn’t check very often. However it’s nice to have more time to hang out with your friends or family.

Honestly, BEST brunch experience I’ve very had. They’re incredibly dog friendly and provides great service to your dogs, has dog treats and food you can order off the menu for your dog. The brunch was good too, the interior was gorgeous and aesthetically beautiful. The waiters were really kind and nice and we had one special one called Jaime (hi-May) and he performed magic tricks for my friends and I (three of us) at our table. He was super kind and entertaining. The food did take a while to come out though but it was fresh and good. I got the yogurt parfait with a side of scrambled eggs and everything tasted delicious and flavorful. My friends had the poke avocado toast and they liked it too. There’s also a free parking lot with ample space… best brunch experience ever honestly, would come back here if I ever visit Palm Springs again. Highly recommend coming here for brunch if you’re visiting the area!!

Overall a great concept to be dog-friendly and welcoming. There is a special dog menu and they were friendly to note our pup’s name with the host and everyone who came in contact with us had her name. They do have some specific dog rules but seemed to be a little lax in enforcement as some smaller dogs were seated at their tables (super cute). One important piece to know. ONLY covered back patio reservations allow dogs (due to health codes). So book the patio if you want to bring your pup! 🐶 The portions on the food were large. Tasty fusion options that mixed pan Asian and southwest options. Some dishes were super spicy, as the miso fish and chips had a dipping sauce that nearly fried my tongue off with the heat lol!! Super tasty but too spicy - so ask if a dish or sauce is spicy before making my same mistake. The service was wonderful. They had happy hour specials and our server was all about getting is good deals (even though we had not asked). She was lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.

Really wanted to try this place. Food was good, but I expected a little more gourmet flair for the price. We only ate off of the human menu. Drinks were all good. Atmosphere is nice. Outdoor and covered patio are for your 4 legged babies. There are plenty of places to tie your babies to. Servers make sure they have water too. It is nice to have a place that specializes in bringing your 4 legged family to.

So fun! This is our second time here and the food and vibe is just fantastic! Our server Andrew was so helpful, he made thoughtful recommendations and we really enjoyed our meal. The brussel sprouts are so so good!

We made reservations for two and were seated promptly on time. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed, as is the dining experience itself. Our server, Melina, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The food - which for us included two appetizers, two entrees, desert, and a couple of extremely creative and well made mocktails - was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and even fun to look at. We had the beef short rib, garlic noodles, Mexican street corn, vegan hotdog, and yuzu desert. Everything was wonderful. Please see the related pictures. The men's room has booking photos of celebrities which are quite neat as well. Great food, great atmosphere, a relaxed pace, and wonderful service. Will for sure be back.

The atmosphere is really cute and I love the focus on dogs but the food is so bad here - every ingredient looked like it came from a cheap grocery store. Our tuna salad was overdressed, with wilted greens. Bad coffee, no tea, cocktails were average. Too many other good places in Palm Springs, would not return

Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Great place to bring your dogs they can eat while you eat. I highly recommend getting the LA froze drink and the hamburger with parmesan truffle fries. Free surface parking lot. Make reservations in advance.

The Tropicale Palm Springs is a retro-tropical themed restaurant with an eclectic menu that focuses on Pacific Rim cuisine. The dining area features a neon-lit exterior and upscale interior, and the patio offers views of downtown Palm Springs. The Sunday Sushi at The Tropicale is some of the best sushi in town, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after a day spent exploring the city.
The Tropicale has it all: great ambiance, excellent service, and outstanding food and drink! We went for the Happy Hour that began at 4:00 PM. I tried the raspberry lemon drop Martini and loved it. We ordered four small plates: Shrimp tacos, Buttermilk fried chicken strips, Angus sliders, and the Holy mole chicken nachos. it was too much (three plates would have been perfect for two). Every one of our selections surpassed our expectations. The shrimp tacos were the best, the other three tied for second place. We will definitely visit Tropicale when we visit again on all future trips to PS

The fried chicken was absolutely fantastic. Good comfort food type meal. Spaghetti was great but could have used more sauce. Drinks were very good. Happy hour menu was very extensive and had some great dishes to choose from. The firecracker shrimp were excellent. Highly suggest checking this spot out for boozing and finger foods.

The food was incredible! It came out very quickly, too. Everything was so tasteful, and ingredients are fresh. We ate during their happy hour, and we had to ask for the happy hour menu (they didn’t automatically include it when seating us). Drink prices are steep, but I’d say the food is very well priced for the quality. Outdoor patio is nice.

The food was good but the atmosphere is really what this restaurant is about! Cool breezes and huge hills overshadowing you while you talk with friends is what really sets this place apart, not to mention staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want a taste of what Palm Springs has to offer, the Tropicale is the place to go!

I finally had a chance to go here and really enjoyed the experience! The people at Tropicale are super friendly and helpful! Josh (I hope I read his name properly) was the best! I had the classic Eggs Benedict and it was delicious! I also liked that the bread was a blueberry cake with crumbles on top, so much better then your standard bread! The back patio offers a very comfortable environment to converse, drink and eat! Thanks for the excellent time! 👍👍

We wanted to have a nice sit down dinner before leaving Palm Springs. The Tropicale did not disappoint. The atmosphere, service, food and drinks were on point. I am so happy that we had the opportunity to have dinner here. It's recommended to set up a reservation. The drinks are original and crafted with care. The food was very flavorful and the portions were generous. Our waiter was very attentive too. If you want a great place to have dinner in Palm Springs, this is the place to go.

Samba music playing in the restaurant sets the fun vibe upon entering. The restaurant has two bars, indoor seating, and two lovely patio settings. We sat on the patio and shared the coconut shrimp in sweet chile sauce, fried goat cheese salad, and "fall off the bone" superb Korean BBQ rack of ribs. All the dishes we ordered were exceptionally good and plenty for the two of us to share. Shout out to Nick and all the others for exemplary service.

Make sure you have a reservation or be prepared to wait for a table! This place is amazing for small little party groups. Our cocktails were really good and the food was absolutely amazing!! We had several small plates and the calamari were some of the best I've ever had! The truffle fries are to die for and the Asada entree was so tender and delicious, I didn't want it to end.

Spent a friends Birthday here and there were 4 other birthday parties. The entire restaurant did a happy birthday song for all the parties. It was pretty epic and memorable. The food was fantastic, the drinks were delicious and the service was spot on! Highly recommend

It was such an amazing and fun time during the dinner. We loved the food and also the environment! The outside dinning is actually really nice and sweet (even though it’s 110F outside, the restaurant did such a good job to keep the temperature cool in the back) And our server Krissa is soooooo sweet and professional!! Definitely would recommend this place to my friends!

We visited early on a Friday night. We made a reservation on open table and we were seated right away. We sat out on the patio which was lovely. The service was great. The drinks were great. The food was sub-par to say the least. It was WAY overpriced for the quality of food. The pupu platter was the best out of the 3 things we ordered. The firecracker shrimp had good flavor but they weren’t crispy at all. The worst dish, by far was the Thai lime and chili steak salad. I don’t think you can call it a steak salad. It was more like a cheap steak (think what you would get at Denny’s or Sharis) with a side slaw. It felt like it was 50% bamboo shoots. If I’m spending $36 on a salad it better be good and it wasn’t. I won’t ever go back.

No doubt that this is a fun, vibrant place to dine. While I realize it's what's done in the restaurant business with larger reservations, I was shocked to find out that my cancellation 90 minutes ahead for a party of six was met with a $300 charge to my credit card. Apparently, they require 48 hour notice before canceling. Which has me wonder why I was even called that morning to confirm, if indeed you can only cancel 48 hours prior??? We had planned to be there and looked forward to it. Unfortunately, one member of our dinner party, an 80 year old friend had a health scare so I made the attempt to cancel. They don't know me from anyone, nor the fact that I've been there at least 20 times while living in Palm Springs. A reasonable charge $50 total or some like amount for the last minute cancellation would have been fine. But $50 per head for canceling seems absolutely ridiculous. I'm sure they could care less about losing my business forward because they fill up every night anyway. But I will not be returning there.

Great place with wonderful food and atmosphere. Large heated outdoor seating available. Innovative food dishes well spices and with great flavor.

What a great place! Very vibrant! Loved the ambiance, bar, music, service and food! The boneless fried chicken dinner was excellent. My friend lived the Flat Iron Steak. And loved the Rasberry Lemondrop Martini. They were very potent, as they should be. My friend had a Manhattan and said it was the best he’s had. The others were very pleased as well. I think this is our new go to place. Especially when entertaining out of town guests. It’s very “Palm Springs”. Highly recommend! My only negative is that it seems to be considerably over-priced. The happy hour menu is not a great deal.

This is a Palm Springs must do! It has the Palm Springs experience. There is a specials menu each week that is great, you can subscribe via email. All the dishes are great. The small plates and pupo platter are delicious. I had the kobe steak tacos which were delicious. The Gelato is fabulous! Came back and tried their flaming baked Alaska special. It was delicious. A vanilla ice cream with cherries, meringue, and flaming brandy.

Wonderful service and atmosphere. Great cocktails. I ordered the pizza with Canadian bacon and pineapple. Overall the crust was good. The pineapple was not so good as I got several slices nearer to the core that were fibrous and not sweet. Also large chunks of raw green bell pepper were on the pizza. I had leftovers for lunch but I would recommend, for what I am paying for this, sweet pineapple, and I would recommend no raw green bell peppers...If you want another veg, slice up a charred red bell...oh so much better.
