I loved visiting here. They have nice exhibits, a ferry you can board to learn of it's history and an outdoor area where you can see the garden and feed the fish. Keep some $2 coins with you to feed the fish. The toilets are very clean and there is a nice sitting area at the entrance.

This museum is extremely well kept with lots of interesting items to look at. The kids (adults too) can do a treasure hunt looking for little dolphins a day whales. This is a real hidden gem in the local area. Highly recommend.

This museum, the Lady Dedman ferry Maritime Museum in Huskisson records the boat building history which once took place at Currumbin Creek, Jervis Bay. It is fabulous and also hosts an art gallery which is a lovely space.

A great museum to pass a rainy afternoon. Full of both maritime and district history, the collection is nicely presented and well worth the entry fee. Allow around 2-3 hours

We've been to Huskisson from Scotland 3 times in the last 7 years and it wasn't until just last week we even knew this gem existed. It would be easy to spend the day here learning about the Maritime history of the Jervis Bay area and the indigenous people. The staff are a bottomless don't of knowledge and are so friendly and welcoming. Now we've found it, we'll be back

Great for all ages. EFTPOS available for entry and the gift shop. A fantastic boardwalk over the mangroves. Immersive experience with a full sized ferry you can get onto and even walk underneath. Educational, covering science history and engineering. Very well kept.

The museum itself is interesting to go through with lots of maritime information and artefacts to look at from the past years. The kids were more interested in feeding the fish in the large catchment area out the front though 😂 The mangrove walk was another draw card. The boardwalk is easy to manoeuvre and it’s an easy, level and gentle walk suitable for everyone. A good day out was had by all

The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum is the perfect place to catch up on all of the areas local history. The outdoor area has fish that you can feed, sit and relax or take a walk over the waterways. They also have cool market days. The museum on the inside has an actual old ferry from Sydney Harbour that you can walk through. There are some sections of the museum which have accessible ramps and other spots which only have stairs. The front reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable and have a lot of cool objects in the gift shop. My favourite part of my visit was learning that it took just seven hours to get from Sydney to Jervis Bay in 1951. Wow! It’s a perfect place for young and old to visit.

Brilliant, interesting museum. Be sure to do the Mangrove boardwalk outside too. Adults $12, Seniors $10. Spent 3 hours between museum and boardwalk.

Good place with some viewing points. You have cruise for 1.5 hours leaving from this place which are good too. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot dolphins. It gets very busy during holidays but this is a must visit spot when in Jervis Bay. A lot of options for food with variety of café’s & restaurants.

Nice motel. Entering at night was a bit unusual, but worked out OK at the end. The rooms are decent and the beds were good. Best is the proximity to restaurants and cafes in the city - very easy to walk everywhere.

Honestly wouldn’t stay here. The music from the local pubs will definitely keep you awake all night, if the music doesn’t wake you I’m sure the locals letting fireworks off across the road will. The USB ports do not work so no use even trying them. The rooms are okay despite there being a massive hole in the wall between the two rooms so if one room has the tv on it will keep you awake because it lights up the opposite room. The hot water in the showers take a good 5+ minutes to actually come out of the shower. If your a heavy sleeper and don’t mind a cold wake up than this is the hotel for you. **Don’t bring kids here, unless you want them waking every hour after 10pm and you want to climb 2 flights of stairs with the stroller in your arms.**

Made a 1 night booking here, and needed to cancel after an event we were attending was canceled, gave them 2 weeks notice and still they charged 100% of the total booking price for one night as cancellation. No option to even change the bookings date , or do anything with it. Pathetic place, would never make another booking here!

Limited parking space within the premises. The room only had kettle and a fridge which is not enough if you are staying for 3-4.

The rooms were really clean, and the staff were easy to deal with. The motel is in a fantastic location - under 1 minute walk to restaurants, cafes and shops. Also had a great view from the balcony. The only negative is that the bed was super hard and we had a pretty bad sleep. That could just be personal preference though.

Perfect location, right in the heart of huskission, right next to pubs, restaurants and the beach. Super handy for parking as there’s not much on the street. The customer service was amazing!! A beautiful beach to watch the sunrise. Very clean sand and accessible. Dog friendly in the morning's and coffee vans close by during the holiday periods. There is a walking paths that also follows the beach and plenty of parking spots.

The waterfront walkway starting in Huskisson and heading south is truly beautiful. It goes right along several beaches and provides ample opportunity to drop down onto the sand. The majority of the path is shaded and both pedestrian and cyclist friendly.

Beautiful beach short distance from caravan parks. Foreshore park has bbq playground shelters and walking track parallel to beach. Some of the paths and steps to beach are in poor condition some needing repair/ replacement to be safe. Short drive to boat ramp club pub and shopping centre. Fish and chip shop was popular and also 5 Little Pigs Cafe. Only small grocery shop a bit expensive so drove to Vincentia about 5 mins down the road. Lovely place for a holiday or day trip.

Peaceful, dog friendly and not so crowdy. Only drawback is that there are lot of plants residual which need to be cleaned up.

White sand beach, clean toilets, outdoor shower, picnic tables under shelter. Best time to go is when wind is Westerly, the water will be calm and clear.

Best choice will be to visit Murrays Beach & Hyams Beach, come here for Dolphin cruise & Boom netting.

Gorgeous location, beautiful scenery, beaches on your doorstep.

Hot showers, dog friendly, park has its own boat ramp.. (and ample trailer parking) Large powered sites.. clean amenities.. Downside, pool and spa isn't heated. On-site coffee in the morning.. The water craft shown is Hobie Cat MIRAGE TANDEM ISLAND There is a dealership 800m away from the Park.. These are our own craft but you can hire other kayak craft from the office.. Small town 1.8km away has ice cream shop, the rsl club had amazing food, and dominoes that deliver..... Vincettia is a larger town with coles/wooly/kebabs etc but maybe 10kms away... On the water channel it was maybe a 15min paddle to Huskisson, the bay was amazing to sail in.. The parks onsite Staff were extraordinarily helpful taking me to my site and assisted parking my caravan, and were quick to attend anything else that came up.. They have a fire pit and they supply the fire wood logs too... They have one rubbish skip bin at the front gate which is good both leaving and coming back (hide evidence of food)... Would recommend.. Will likely return

No matter what the weather brings, there's always something so magical and beautiful about our Marine park being one of the most visually stunning areas we have discovered.

Great views and a family friendly venue. However, the food leaves much to be desired. The fish tacos were skimpy on the fish, and the fish that was there was overcooked and did not taste good at all. The chicken burger was equally as unimpressive. Rather than order more from them, we went next door to get a pizza.

I asked for well done steak… they give me burnt steak … All grasses were so dirty… and I see 2 small cockroaches on my table, then I changed my table.

I was impressed with the meal, customer service and the food. Good atmosphere - but the music from the in-house DJ was louder than I expected. (I think the DJ is only here on weekends). This restaurant is located at the rear of the Husky Hotel - it’s accessible via the pub. If you’re here on a day trip, this restaurant is a good place to visit. It has a nice view of the bay.

Loved pur visit here, the drinks were well made, food was superb, perfectly cooked brisket, great vibe and special views. Definately highly recommend visiting and enjoying the food and drinks.

Great evening meal for four people overlooking the water. We had Octopus Salad, Steak & Prawns and Fish & Chips x 2. The Tart Bar for dessert was a real sweet treat. Reasonably priced meals. Only down side was the lack of cocktails available.

Really good drinks here. I strongly recommend alcoholic ginger beer. Rump steak is tender, but too much tendons in there making it chewy. Husky fried chickens was bomb. Flavorful and tender inside. Good to go with gravy. Chips was kinda tasteless so I saved it with buffalo sauce. Staff is great!

So we drove all the way from Sydney to Jervis Bay for the beaches and wanted a really nice dinner with waterfront views. I thought this place was meant to be the higher end version of the very busy Huskisson Hotel, but I was very wrong. Whilst the sunset and the atmosphere was enjoyable, service was unprofessional where we weren't given forks until 5 minutes after our food arrived, food portions were tiny considering how overpriced the restaurant is (mains were like $35 which should mean fine dining) the food was below mediocre, I could cook so much better so since those portions were so tiny & I was so starving I had to go across the road to the fish & chips shop to grill my own fish at my airbnb because I didn't want to waste even more money which is not what I wanted on a vacation. Food was extremely bland, salmon was overcooked and the best thing about the food was actually the salad. It was a big mistake to go here for dinner, you should go somewhere else in Jervis Bay if you want a high end meal.

Great ambience. Ordered king prawns and beer. The prawns were not skinned and they were only boiled/steamed. It would have been better if they could have mentioned it in the menu. It was tasty though and very healthy. Just wasnt looking for it that day.

This is one of Huskisson's hidden gems. The food here is next level! The sashimi is some of the freshest I've tasted with great oysters from the local area. The silken tofu reaches the same flavour levels reminiscent of the old Longrain in Surry Hills. Big favourite of our group was the Yakiniku grilled steak and the miso eggplant. Both are taste explosions that linger on the tongue in such a good way!

Tried to ring and make reservation only to get told it must be done online. When reservation done online, asks for booking guarantee of $150. Booked for happy hour - not so happy. Drinks measly $5 cheaper than non-happy hour price. Food roughly same cheaper. Ordered drinks and entrees during happy hour time, got all entrees and all drinks except for one. Had to ask for this drink twice. Got the bill after finished eating, charged normal price for last two drinks which arrived after happy hour finished, and after asking for them twice, got charged full price for entrees which were ordered and brought out during happy hour time. Questioned what is going on, got refund for drinks ($10) nothing for food. Explanation was “I forgot to tell you, chef has not changed the happy hour menu yet, price for food is what is on the main menu” even though a happy hour menu is given to you on arrival, which shows cheaper prices. Music annoying not appropriate and distracting. Food good generally, although a bit pricey, service and happy hour time needs a lot of improvement.

Chicken curry is not bad. But it’s a foreigner owner Japanese restaurant…$50 per person with one entree and one main courses.

We got there without reservation but they happily accommodated us. However, it is advisable to make reservation especially on a busier nights. The food we ordered came promptly and they are delicious. The steak that we had was tender and cooked to perfection. The oyters were plump, big and fresh and well priced. Meals were generously portioned. Staff were lovely and prompt. I highly recommend you to make a visit and enjoy it too. We'll definitely be coming back.

Don't eat here, overall it was overpriced for underwhelming average food. The customer service was decent enough but definitely couldve used improvement. The menu was suspiciously expensive and they forced you to order 2 dish "banquet" options for 50$ per person Went with a group of 6 and ordered 4 teriyaki "wagyuu" steaks. they were gamey, too chewy and honestly inedible because of the after taste and as a result, most were left untouched. on top of that, because it was 50$ it meant we spent roughly 22$ for entres such as 6 pieces of takoyaki. They did offer to recook the steaks or replace the order with something else but wouldnt refund them. The food itself was really low quality and I have my suspicions that not much was actually made fresh at the restaurant but instead frozen packaged food was used instead

Great Japanese food and great selection of Japanese alcohol. Sake was great with a wide selection. We tried almost all the specials and they were delicious. They show you pictures of the specials which helps identify the type of food they are if you're not familiar with the names. Highly recommended if you're in the area as a local or a visitor.

You can give 5🌟 for sashimi and nigiri sushi. And other foods can give you a feeling of satiety of 5🌟 ,you can feel full, but not as delicious as expected. The waiter didn't tell me that the udon noodles were sold out and gave me other noodles instead.

This restaurant was exceptional. The staff were friendly and courteous and aimed to please. The food was amazing and you definitely left satisfied. Meal presentation was well executed and specials were available. The oysters were scrumptious. I recommend you try the lemon sake…. It was refreshing and cleansed the palette. Highly recommend this dining experience.

Loved this little Japanese place. Food was delish and the atmosphere was great. Only downside was the service was slow (due to lack of staff) and some food a little overpriced for what was given. Would definitely recommend the bao buns!

we had the special wagyu beef bao and grilled miso eggplant as our entree both were very tasty joined with a couple of beautiful cocktails🍸 . for the main i had the yakiniku grilled steak and my wife had the salmon nigiri . the steak was cooked perfectly and was nice and tender . the salmon was spot on aswell . we sampled almost all dishes as we were in a group and everyone raved about the food . we will be coming back without a doubt 😊😋

Conveniently located in the heart of Huskisson, this restaurant offers a variety of classic Australian breakfast and lunch options as well as coffees and other drinks. The food was okay, but nothing special. There wasn't really any attempt at presentation, aside from the fact that the bacon and egg roll had all of its bacon pushed to one side, making it look really full from one side and really empty from another (probably accidental). The breaky burger was completely overpowered by the chilli sauce (which was more like a bottle of siracha than a homemade chilli chutney as I'd hoped), and the sausage patty was pretty tasteless. Coffee was nice, and featured good latte art. Staff were friendly and highchairs were available. Overall a convenient option and priced inline with the local area, but we probably wouldn't go back.

One of the best restaurants I’ve had in the area! Every single dish was beautifully crafted and cooked to perfection! I loved the pork and super delicious! The pickled onions with the pork combined was amazing! Furthermore, the staff was super friendly and made sure we are at the best seated location!

Little cafe with a great view of the water and dog friendly outdoor seating. It was busy and we were promptly greeted by one of the staff nicely who directed us to a table when another staff member from the coffee counter near the window asked us very abruptly ‘Did anyone tell you to sit here?’ We were surprised, especially since it was in the morning and it kind of ruined the experience. But, some of the staff were nice and the food was pretty delicious and well presented. It’s important to remember that even though a business may be busy, it’s essential to treat customers with respect and courtesy, especially if the area is a tourist attraction.

We came at peak hour (after Christmas), so we have to wait to be seated. The service was really good, friendly and fast. The food was really delicious and recommended especially if you like bagel. But the spaghetti was just ok.

These guys are work incredibly well for peak season. Rain hail or shine they are streamline with their customer service, food and the hustle & bustle of the always increasing crowds. The food is ao interesting and tasty we only had breakfast and coffee most days. Wish we had lunch one of the days. Although the long periods of times we were enjoying the dryness from our wet campsite probably could have had breakfast. Odd i didn't take picture of any coffees. Thank you to all the staff for their kind hospitality you are all amazing!!

The location is great, very neat and clean cafe serving all day breakfast and selected lunch offerings. The service was tops and great after a dolphin cruise is perfect place to settle for lunch. Bacon and Egg roll (in a foccacia) was a staple and well executed! The breakie burger had a sausage patty and cheese, a spice kick in the sauce which made it really tasty. The local fish on the lunch was delicious- the fish was grilled well, however the brocollini & brussel sprouts was a little over done (charred). The pork had this lovely sweet relish and was stacked with sweet potato and dill. The pork fillet was a little dry on the outside yet soft in the middle so that was a good combo for texture.

What a fabulous find this was! Totally enjoyed our brunch here. It’s got a cool vibe and offers some really creative tasty dishes. We loved the pea and ricotta fritters and the panna cotta with pear and granola. I don’t write reviews very often but this place was totally worthy !

Visited the coffee shop over the Christmas weekend; it was bustling, and we waited a few minutes for a table. The menu offered interesting options, and we opted to share the delicious and ample Big Pig platter. The coffee was excellent and timely, complemented by a great blueberry muffin. The place is clean, and the playlist adds to a fantastic atmosphere. However, interacting with three different staff members, none were friendly – no smiles. While it didn't significantly impact the overall experience, a smile from staff could certainly make a positive difference.

Coffee was perfect, the amount of milk to coffee was at the best ratio 3. The food was outstanding, very nicely presented, full of flavour 4. It was a bit of a wait before taking a seat, but this is understandable for lunch time on a nice Sunday weather. We had cheeseburger, corn fritters and brekky burger. My corn fritters were really good, it had nice addition of the sauces and spiral zucchini, it was really yummy. Kids loved their burgers. Coffee was very good too. There was a nice outside area so we could enjoy our lunch and have our dog with us. Nice place, recommend to visit.

Awesome coffee here. U can tell by the takeaway crowd. Two dishes we got were very “interesting”. Zucchini fritters exterior was almost burnt. Can taste bitterness. Inside is good. zucchini noodle salad came with lightly smoked white fish? Tastes like unseasoned finish. Buckwheat waffle had brown sugar (or praline?) packed into the square wells on the top side. Took us a while to realize since it was hidden under the cream. Shouldn’t be that much since the bottom is berry compote. It is regrettable this meal didn’t quite work out for us.

We ordered an ice coffee and soba noodle salad with silken tofu. The taste is amazing!! The service was on point and the atmosphere perfect. We sat inside next to the window with views of the Husky Harbour. Great music added to the seaside vibe with fresh air blowing in. Edit: Came back and enjoyed more tasty food 😄

Unfriendly staff and bad vibe. I found the staff generally unfriendly. We were welcomed to a high table and when we asked for the Wi-Fi, the waiter just said “no”.. very ubrupt…. When we asked to move from inside to outside, so we had some phone reception Another young waitress said to us “I have to ask”… She then returned to say “it’s your lucky day”… Actually Miss, I have to say, it’s actually your lucky day that I just paid fourteen dollars for an extra bloody sausage and has brown To be treated like crap 😂 A note to management: have a read of all of these reviews…. there is a lot of people unhappy with your staff and their behaviour. You wouldn’t want to keep going down this road, especially if another cafe opens up where they treat their patrons properly, in such a small town that relies so heavily on tourist. Very expensive food, and I would not want to come here on a public holiday as the menu says it’s a 20% surcharge…. Sadly: the food is good and coffee was actually really good.

Came here because of previous reviews. Was just okay. Party of 2 on a busy Monday midmorning. Ordered big breakfast (average) and the pea fritters with pork belly (partial redemption). Food 1. Pea fritters was garnished with an excellent selection of tasty crunchy greens and the pork belly was well cooked. Total of $34 for this dish, which is a little pricey but not unexpected for brunch. 2. Big breakfast was just the usual big breakfast. A little oily. Nothing special. $27 - normal. Service Very busy so the staff were curt. Forgivable but not impressive. Ambience Seaside and nice decor. Music was very loud, couldn't hear the waiter and he couldn't hear us.

5 stars for the food, asked for vego big breakfast and they were able to cater accordingly. All day breakfast was appreciated. The S&V Hash browns are nothing I’ve ever had before OMG just to die for. Hotcakes (not in photo) were delicious. Coffee was good quality as well. Restroom was available inside cafe and were clean. One area of criticism where I think you guys could do better was the sun shades. Other than that 10/10! 👍

The best breakfast burgers in town!!! This place is always packed so if you want to dine in I would recommend making a reservation. We did a takeaway breakfast and ate by the water. The coffee was amazing (great beans) and I couldn’t fault the breakfast here. 10/10!

We got the $40 three course meal. Good value for the amount of food you get! The prawns were amazing. A huge chunk of steak. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was nice. Only thing that could improve would be to provide a plate for the cooked steak, the steak was getting overcooked and there was no where to place it after cooking it to your preferred level.

Family friendly restaurant with large space for a pram. The service was amazing and the food was good. It’s pretty much, you cook your own food on a hot stone. Fun experiences for family dinner while visiting Huskisson. Highly recommend

He dismissed us abruptly when we arrived 10 min early and when we went back for our 8pm booking, he refused to seat us inside even though we booked for an inside table. He rudely pointed to the table outside saying that’s your table and said “and don’t be expecting any service any time soon”. The manager was nice but did not apologise for his employee’s behaviour. The food itself was average, decent portions but nothing special. I would recommend dining somewhere else.

This eat out is so clever with the stonegrill options. You basically cook the meat to your taste buds' desire, so there's no reliance on the chef to cook it right for you. What an innovative way to save labour costs ! Food tastes great

$40 set menu with entree, main and dessert. Well worth the money. Stone stays hot for more than expected, fully able to cook a thick steak through. Pan-roasted scallops were amazing! Not very well ventilated though, so your clothes may smell of smoke after.

It was a fresh experience. We had $50 set menu (entrée, main and dessert). It was a great value. If it was in Sydney, we would try it even it's 80 or 90 dollars. It was packed even it was on Tuesday. The only thing can be improved is indoor ventilation as we couldn't open up our eyes due to the smoke so ended up to change to outdoor table luckily.

Went last night with my boyfriend around 9pm, everything was closed in the area but Stonegrill saved our night and gave us a memorable dinner. Loved every single thing about the place, the concept, the food and, of course, the friendly staff! Thank you so much for letting us be the last ones to dine in and will definitely come back whenever we get the chance!

Stonegrill at Huskisson is a great place for a new experience and a great dinner out in Jervis Bay. My wife and I have never tried this way of eating before but we are coming back for more. The place is located on the main street of Huskisson and what we love about the place is that you dont need to be all dressed up to eat at an awesome place. We came in with no expectations, we just came to try the local restaurants and we love it.. We had the 3 course meal for a bargain price of $50 per person. We both had the same meals, Chilli prawns, Black Angus Steak and Wildberry Cheesecake with Ice Cream. It was so good and tasty and of course it was cooked to perfection because you are the one cooking your own steak. We had a fun time and look forward to coming back.

One of the best steaks in Australia by far ✅. Lovely experience with the stone top, meat was tender and tasty. We got the 3 course meal deal which is $50 and it was such a good value. Staff are friendly and attentive. Quick change between starters, mains and desserts which I love, I hate waiting for the next course! Overall, absolutely loved it here and will be back! Already recommended to my friends due to visit Jervis Bay!!!

A busy restaurant in Huskisson, we had an enjoyable meal here on a Monday evening. We were warmly welcomed & covid protocol procedures were strictly followed. Staff were friendly & efficient. The food was delicious & fresh - cooking your own meat on the hot stone was a novel & fun way of eating! The sauces accompanying the meats were OK but could be more innovative. Overall an enjoyable evening. Bookings are essential!

This was a fun experience and just something different that we enjoyed. It’s not the best steak you’ll ever eat or the fine dining experience that will come with other steakhouses (and prices)… This restaurant doesn’t pretend to be anything other than meat on a stone that you cook yourself. If that’s not what you are after, then you’ll be disappointed. Should you come, you get good service from the team and it’s fully BYO so spoil yourself at the bottle o next door. The food comes out quickly as it’s basically raw so no complaints about speed! Order the eye fillet if you don’t know how to cook a steak. It’s the most forgiving of cuts and allows you to go over without it being tough and overly chewy. To those reviews that complain their steaks overcooked whilst on the stone as they ate, ask for a side plate so you essentially cook when you want to eat.

This is the treasure of husky ! What a fun idea, cooking your meal on a hot stone as you desire. The atmosphere is wonderful, lovely staff and the food is delicious. Prices are very reasonable and is BYO with a bottle shop next door. A must when in Huskinson, worth the drive if in the area. Definitely will go back !

So so impressed with this place! The high quality service and pleasant welcoming atmosphere definitely made us want to go back. Heartwarming food and delicious steak. Overall very satisfied and great experience cooking our own steak. I’d recommend the eye fillet steak and prawn pasta with the sundried tomato sauce. Scallop starter and vegetable sides okay. Sticky toffee pudding dessert delicious to round off an overall great meal in a nice easy convenient location whilst on holiday. Also fyi it’s BYOB

Okay, so here's the thing. We were told before "if you haven't experienced that type of thing it's cool" and that pretty much sums it up. I'll give them credit, the oysters were next level. The mixed plate was ordered and each type excelled (natural, herbed butter and Kilpatrick. The steak is where it was a let down, unfortunately. While the theme of the volcanic rock is neat and legit, I feel they may rely on that too much. My wagu lacked true flavour that I was expecting from the "volcanic rocks releasing flavour", I ended up dipping into the pepper sauce near the end of the meal. Friendly staff and good service, I can't fault the on that, I believe we met the owner/manger who was friendly and approachable. It was nothing bad, but nothing truly special.

Grilling your own food is such a unique experience!! The staff and service were so great, very impressed. The meat was tender and juicy, sauces were so good, very highly recommend the mushroom sauce 🤤. Dessert was great all around we ordered creme brulee, sticky date pudding and crepes and everyone enjoyed their meal. I personally had the sticky date and it was prob the best one I've had. The sauce was so good and the pudding itself was fluffy and flavourful. Delicious!!

Highly recommend this restaurant, the food was amazing, the steak was especially good! And the service was equally amazing, special thanks to Marcus for making the environment very inviting and welcoming. Overall a 10/10 for food and service. Will come again for sure!

Experienced cooking our own Wagyu steak and Lamb cutlets on the stone grill. Enjoyed the meats and the Garlic Butter Prawns and Oysters Kilpatrick were really nice. Disappointed with the sides of pasta and Vegetables. If they were as good as everything else it would have taken it to another level. Did not enjoy the sides at all.

This place is arguably the best in Huskisson. Been coming here for years now and it never disappoints. Tony the owner, is very friendly and welcoming and so is all the staff. The food is always consistent and great, be sure to book though as it gets pretty packed on peak holiday season.My must go to are: the pistachio prawns, dinosaur steak (a 800g t-bone cooked to your liking on a volcanic stone) and sticky date pudding. Well done guys, we will keep coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Huskisson Pub, and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my every need was taken care of throughout my visit. The menu was varied and had something for everyone, with plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options available. The food itself was simply delicious - everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The pub also had an impressive selection of beers and wines, with knowledgeable staff on hand to help me choose the perfect drink to complement my meal. But what really stood out to me was the overall ambiance of the place. The Huskisson Pub had a cozy and inviting feel, with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe that made me want to stay all night. The live music was a highlight for me, and really added to the already great atmosphere. Overall, I can't recommend the Huskisson Pub highly enough. Whether you're looking for a great meal, a few drinks with friends, or a night out enjoying live music, this place has it all. Five stars, without a doubt! Also old mate with the viking hair cut deserves a raise 10/10 service

Had delicious food at the bistro. Been several times with my friend and it never disappoints. Today we had the special, Smoked BBQ short rib burger with chips and onion rings. Well worth the $20.

Good atmosphere & the pizzas were great - nice base, cheesy & generously topped! Only downfall was the service we received at the bar… the staff member mixed up the drink sizes & seemed bothered when we kindly questioned.. so instead of redoing the drinks, he just poured the original drink into a new glass. When you pay $10 for a drink, you expect it’s poured fresh from the tap, not moved from glass to glass. Otherwise this was a great spot to watch sunset.

The food was absolutely delicious at the Huskisson Hotel. We ordered a few cocktails as well as the fish tacos and halloumi fries and enjoyed it all! The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

The food, desserts and drinks at the Cocktail Bar at the back are absolutely fantastic. The service is excellent and very quick. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We accidentally spilled a Moscato Wine glass and staff were very quick to clean it all up and bring us another one at no extra charge. Now, that's service with a smile. Well done, folks.

I am blown away at this place. Zero table service. Collect your own meal, collect your own cutlery, get your own drinks. Yet the menu has embarrassingly high prices for the awful food. The chicken burger I got was quite literally the most abysmal thing I've eaten. How do you burn deep fried chicken? The chips were soggy and unseasoned too. My partner thought the calamari a safe choice. Frozen of course, not fresh, and an extra $7 for the pathetic chips to be included. Overall absolutely the crappiest pub meal I've had to date, and I had to bring it to my own table.

It is what it is; a Pub Hotel. The rooms are as advertised and we felt that the shower was in particular very good. Bed was firm but reasonably comfortable. AC works perfectly. Small fridge with milk for tea/coffee. Pub downstairs is loud (we were there a Monday/Tuesday) but the noise abated around 10pm. Pub was decent, only schooners, so if you're looking for a proper pint go elsewhere. Food was alright. View is nice, location is great with guest parking. Staff were very nice and accommodating.

Absolutely ideal location, right on the bay front. The drinks were not overly pricey and for a Monday it was quite busy. The food was decent, the vegan burger could be developed a little more. But overall good experience, would recommend

We recently visited here for dinner with a reservation and after being shown to our table were immediately abandoned by the staff who failed to explain to us how the ordering works - as it turns out there are 2 separate menus that require ordering in different ways. The food took 1 1/2 hours to arrive and was a solid 2 star experience, which matched the attitude of the staff who clearly didn't care about being there. There are far better options elsewhere in the area if you are looking for a decent evening

Brilliant location by the Sea. Large number of covers. Well organised to cater for big numbers with efficiency. Great value food that is well prepared. Good for watching sport too. Room was well appointed with a modern bathroom little noisy from the bar area but to be expected.

Sad to say I’ve been in here three times each time I’m in Huskisson and they are rude every single time. I’m perfectly polite but the service is so rude. They only want to serve locals and they are really snobby when you’re visiting or on holiday. The kitchen closes at 8pm and then no one is even there. So weird. The food is not very good and overpriced. The fish tasted fresh but that’s about it. The chips were cold. I got a side salad and it literally was lettuce leaves with a tiny amount of balsamic drizzle on top and a few pine nuts. Leaving the rest of the salad dry and plain. Even the cocktails are not what they are described. No presentation. Just looks and tastes so cheap and unprofessional. I will not be back. I’ll definitely head over to wild ginger as it’s a way better restaurant, great service, and the food is amazing.

Got an early booking for 530pm. Kitchen is very disorganised. Some menu items are cooked early and left under the hot passé for 30+ minutes waiting for other menu items to be prepared. For example, our steaks and burgers were cold, mussels were like warm while garlic bread was hot. It’s a shame as the quality of produce is fine. In short, do not come during normal meal times. For those coming after 6pm, the advice was that the wait time to receive food after ordering was more than 120 minutes. That’s not acceptable for a pub bistro. Either get more staff or serve fewer tables.

Two day break in Husky. Stopped at the pub for lunch before checking in to our accommodation. No complaints here. Food was excellent and prices reasonable. Beer is cold. Staff friendly. Outlook is amazing. Atmosphere was dampened (pun intended), by the rain but still better than a day at work. Keep it up guys.

Absolutely amazing! The rooms, the food and the service = amazing. Our one night stay started off with very helpful staff showing us to our room and providing us with two complementary drinks. We paired our drinks with an amazing brisket basket prior to heading out for a walk along the beach which was seconds from the hotel. We ended the night with an amazing dinner (wood fire pizza and $5 tacos) along with drinks and a yummy dessert. The staff are all amazing and super engaging, which made the entire experience perfect. We will definitely be back and staying here in future.

Had a great Melbourne Cup day 2023. Drinks flowed, canapes brilliant, the dessert tower the best. The package was $125 including a DJ, sweeps, and a view to die for. A big thank you to the chef and the great staff who made it a fun day. See you next year.

Stunning venue and views, however the food was average at best. 45 minute wait (understandable when its busy), but this included a serve of fresh oysters that could have been served up first. Potato wedges were soggy, and seafood pasta was really plain. Such a shame, the place has such potential but are really not set up to do high volume food in peak times.

Brilliant place in Huskisson for food, drink and entertainment. Seating inside and out, and perfect for families, couples, groups and if you're on your own. Very good menu and a great range of drinks. Perfect place when you are in the area.

A place for all ages! Beautiful setting weather your in the lower level or up in the hotel part. We took our children (5&11) both times and loved the food, drinks and view. Amazing service by a lady called Bee who enticed us to come back and try the Woodford pizza in the chilled out area below. A great asset to your business

Parked in front of hotel where it said 2 hours parking from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. It was 8:40 AM. Just wanted to ask a question for booking room and dinner but door was closed but a Woman was sitting at the reception . Instead letting me ask she just nodded with her head and when I got back to my car a fine has been issued. Things like this really let me loose hope in humanity. This is the top of unfriendliness i ever experienced.

Some room for improvement catering to patrons with dietary issues but most issues were later able to be rectified when brought to the attention of more experienced staff. Recommend heading over to Buds down the road for dietaries as they were far more well versed. Food did arrive quickly and was tasty. Staff were commendably patient with our requests which I am sure were incredibly annoying as we were not the best customers either (sorry!).

Visited on a Tuesday night when they had $20 pub specials for either a burger, schnitzel or fish and chips with a beer, wine or soft drink. The deal was pretty good value and runs Tues-Thurs. The fish and chips tasted pretty good but the fish was a little bit sad and seemed like frozen packet fish rather than fresh fish. A little disappointing for a seaside town. The schnitzel, chips and mushroom sauce was quite good as well. The schnitzel needed a squeeze of lemon which I stole from my partners fish and chips and it elevated it significantly. The salads on both dishes were very sad and tasted under seasoned and not super fresh. Would highly recommend serving the schnitzel with a slaw over a garden salad too. The service was overall ok. Some people were incredibly friendly and helpful while others weren't particularly rude but definitely not friendly either.

We just popped in for a quick bite to eat and to use the restrooms. The service was friendly and quick. The place is clean, and spacious with the option of eating outdoors - to enjoy the beach view or inside nice and cosy. What we ordered was absolutely delicious and good sized entrees. We didn’t stay in the hotel but would highly consider it because of the location next time.

Hard to get a table at the Bar / Bistro, especially in peak times of year. Probably the largest and busiest venue in all of Huskisson. Well renovated, food and cocktails were nice, but location is the highlight.
