Regrettably, there aren't any chosen eateries in the vicinity that you've searched. The regions encompassed by the MICHELIN Guide are consistently expanding, so there may be a future selection. This restaurant is situated in the lobby of belle kF Grand Resort and offers simple yet sophisticated dining. The atmosphere is ideal for engaging in fruitful business discussions. They have an impressive assortment of wines, particularly Pinot noir. Their food options include healthy choices like organic carrots as accompaniments.
Had the pleasure of eating here for breakfast, lunch and dinner during a multiple weeks stay. Consistently a superb experience with fresh, local and nutritious ingredients. Staff I found amazing and exactly what I like! Friendly, efficient, character and service oriented - real people with passion for what they do. One of the highlights was Marco his cappuccino art who kept surprising me with his creations. It is a small thing but makes your day start with a smile. Also Johannes the restaurant manager seems to know what he does and ensures everyone has an amazing stay - a real hospitality superstar!

Restaurant resided in the lobby belle kF Grand Resort. Very simple dining but with class. Great ambience for good business discussion. Good selection of wine and great choices of Pinot noir. The food selection comes with with healthy choice like organic carrots to come with it. Ordered a local fish - char which is grilled to perfection with added carrot 🥕! Also ordered the kimchi soup with broccoli and rice. Unique but rather salty.. ending dinner with some kind of grappa with varieties of flavour range from pears, strawberry, prunes and many .. friendly and attentive staff !

Nice place but food lacks quality and taste. Good local wine selection.

We visited this one michelin star restaurant on a Saturday evening. Here are the honest opinions of this restaurant. • The ambiance is nice with modern decor but the chairs are somehow uncomfortable and tablecloths would be nice for this price range. • We were welcomed by a host and then never saw him again throughout our whole service until we got our coats back. • We were served by two different personnel and they were rushing after every course they served. We couldn't even ask them any questions. • The food is not bad but it's not on the league of Michelin star. • We had a 5 course degustation menu and it was just okay. There is no wow factor. • For the price we paid, it's not worth it.

Even though the food was really good, presentation included.. the service was slow and honestly a bit offensive. For such an expensive hotel and supposedly a starred restaurant. It took 18 minutes to get our first bottle of water, after that on average at least a wait of 15-20 minutes per serving with really no interaction at all with anybody, we had no water left, etc. A simple dinner become a 2 to 3 hour event, but not enjoyable. For the second water bottle I just had to go and walk to the front and ask for one, I didn't dare to order anything else. My first drink came also after I asked twice for it even though my companions had theirs already. The front of the house seems to be a disaster too. During my first night a few days ago, I tried going to eat, gave up after 20 minutes waiting at the front.. with nobody even acknowledging me. So here is the deal, the star is not deserved and it is sad that for a restaurant that has so much potential it just delivers a less than satisfactory experience. This is a restaurant where you easily will spend $300+ without wine. Here is my unsolicited advice. Less being fancy and better service, more training and more attention to the customer. Also, the restaurant was half empty. Essentially, if you go be prepared to suffer and be ignored.

Good restaurant with a Michelin star, though I think it‘s not on the same level as other Michelin-starred restaurants. The food is delicious for the most part and the staff are professional. Still, the service is not as personalized or attentive as in other Michelin-starred restaurants. For instance, we had to wait a long time for the staff to take our order. We just sat there long after we had chosen what to eat. We also waited over 10 minutes for our check. The food is well-presented and mostly very delicious. The beef tartare was excellent. The meat was very tasty, though it was rather too cooked for a medium. The fish, although of good quality, was bland, definitely the weakest part of the meal. The Rhubarb dessert was ceratinly creative, but the sourness overpowered any other flavour the dish had, making it slightly unbalanced. Overall, this is definitely not a bad restaurant, but it lacks the refinement present in other restaurants of its class.

Food is good, but didn't find a wow factor for the price. Great service, whiskey sour was fantastic.

Okay lunch in nice setting. Good starters and desserts. Main course are not the best.

We went to eat on the 1st of January and there was a special menu for that day. Every dish was nicely done without any mistakes. The flavour combinations were nice and I have not regretted paying this price(400chf for 2 people) for what we ate. The ambience was really nice. Service is pretty good and you can tell everything is working perfectly. However, I cannot say I would go again because for me what was missing, since I am also a chef and foodie, is that I did not try something and thought "hmmm a flavour combination i do not know or a new ingredient". Overall Satisfied but I had lunch/dinner at better 1 michelin star restaurants.

Absolute atrocious experience. I waited an hour and a half and paid 20 euros for a sausage more pathetic than mine to be delivered with two slices of bread, which had clearly been sat on the side in the kitchen for the duration. I am inconsolable with grief that I parted with my hard earned money here and would not come back here for a very large clock.
Kristian Sorensen — Google review
The restaurant is not without a Michelin star. This is the first Michelin restaurant where we were not served bread and there were no appetizers from the chef from the very beginning. The steak was tough. The child's nuggets had hairs because the chicken was poorly plucked. But the mushroom risotto was great, so I'll give it 2 stars instead of one.
Nathalie Costa — Google review
As a person with knowledge about Michelin star restaurants I have to say that Verve doesn’t impressed me at all, there wasn’t any chef greetings or “In between” offered and honestly they vanish the whole concept of a gourmet experience by being surprise by the chef greetings. Honestly is not worthy.

Asian restaurant
Last night, my spouse and I enjoyed a delightful Asian dinner at Namun. The menu was exceptionally creative, offering an impressive array of options to suit every taste. The choices were truly satisfying, featuring fresh ingredients expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive. While the prices were reasonable for such quality, the only observation I have is regarding the wine list, which was rather disorganized and challenging to navigate.
You get what you pay for. My wife and I enjoyed a delicious Asian meal here last night and we were both very happy with our experience. The menu was very imaginative and afforded a superb range of choices with something for every palate. Our choices were very satisfactory indeed with fresh ingredients wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. Service was extremely attentive without being intrusive. Of course all this comes at a price but, it was a fair price. My only comment, not a criticism, was the wine list. In short, it was a mess and difficult to negotiate. It was far too vast to make sense of without intense concentration and to my mind many of the offerings belonged to a higher end restaurant perhaps with Micheline stars.
Garry Cane — Google review
The service and ambience are very nice, but the standard of the food really lets this place down. The origin of the meat is not listed on the menu, which is very unusual for a restaurant in Switzerland. The reason for this is that the beef comes from Australia (where usually a menu will also provide a warning about antibiotics). We substituted the Australian beef for Swiss chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry and tough with zero seasoning. At around 60 francs for the main, I felt the experience here was poor value for money.

Good restaurant, though not without flaw. The food is delicious, especially the Dim Sum. The meat fits together very well with the garnishes and sauces. The service is also very friendly and professional. However, the meat tends to be overcooked and tough. Furthermore, for the prices this restaurant offers and for the GaultMillau award it has recieved, the cuisine lacks refinement and direction. Over the years I have been to this restaurant, the dishes have stayed the same, there is little creativity in the dishes. Still, this is a good establishment which serves quality Asian food. It’s just not quite up there with other top restaurants in five-star hotels.

Hotel
Restaurant
Hotel Schloss Ragaz is a well-appointed establishment set in a historic castle and adjacent buildings from the 1800s. This refined accommodation offers various types of rooms, suites, and apartments. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool where guests can unwind and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Set amidst a vast park, Hotel Schloss Ragaz provides easy access to golf courses and a thermal spa bath located nearby.
While the rooms are dated (in a charming way), the hospitality and service is top tier. The food at the restaurant for dinner is extremely amazing. My compliments to the chef and their team!!! The grounds are beautiful and the spa is amazing. This place is a hidden gem that is worth experiencing. I highly recommend making time to have dinner, as well as staying as a guest for a few days!!! Especially if you are passing through and need a place to stay

I'm very disappointed with this hotel. We booked our stay for 26 Dec on 3 Oct already, and it was confirmed by e-mail. The pdf attachment contained the following details: the room type (Suite Pavillon) and that pets were allowed ("Haustiere/Hunde in den Pavillons erlaubt, CHF 15.00 pro Nacht"). Then we got a call from the hotel on 26 Dec in the morning. Our room got double booked for the first night of our stay, so they wanted to give us another room for the first day. Why did it turn out only on the first day of our stay? The booking was done almost 3 months ago. It also turned out that pets were not allowed, neither in the booked room nor in the offered replacement room. The best they could say was "sorry, we cannot do anything", even when we referred to the fact that it was explicitly written as allowed in their confirmation. The only thing they could offer was to cancel our booking "without any charges". Nice. So we're left with our luggage packed, but without any booking and trying to find something somewhere else on Christmas day...

Beautiful location and surrounding area. Hotel itself a beautiful castle but rooms in main building although clean, very tatty and need extensive renovation to match price and to function properly. Reception and breakfast staff very unfriendly and unaccommodating. We have stayed in many hotels in Bad Ragaz over the past few years and this one most certainly worst value for money. In fact payed for our stay but moved to another hotel for the rest of our holiday.

A lovely, friendly hotel with great service for the price point. The spa is small but when we were there (April) it was completely empty so we had a private spa experience! Beautiful views of the mountains from the room and only a short, picturesque walk to Tamina therme.

We enjoyed ourselves very much on our second visit to your hotel. Room 45 was very comfortable and well maintained by two lovely ladies and a man who hoovered attentively. The food was good and varied and staff EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I would have been interested to read about those fantastic trees in the garden; when they were planted, the botanical names of some of them etc. Ample free parking was also much appreciated. We hope to return during the next Sculpture Exhibition in Bad Ragaz. Tell us when!!!

We were overall really satisfied with our stay at the Hotel. The room was really clean and spacious. The hotel is isolated and the location is amazing so i do not see the reason why they offer you earplugs :) The staff is super friendly and helpful. The 4 star is because I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast, not necessarily with the offering, which was ok for a 3-star hotel, but with the fact that part of the buffet was most (if not all) of the times empty (bread, cheeses, coffee machine etc.) So my advice would be to focus more there and organize better how to run the breakfast tasks. I would go again though because all the rest made our experience great!

Fantastic. It does not get any better than that. Especially the bungalows with garden / park access are great. Friendly, efficient and caring. Nice & happy guests. Attention to detail with a human touch. The 5-star hotel(s) / clinic nearby should take note: that´s how it´s done. Nearly always fully booked, why am I not surprised :-)

Worst hotel I've stayed in Switzerland. We spent the weekend in August 2023. The price is the price of a 5-star hotel, but the quality of the hotel hardly gets one star. Plus it's so dirty. The rooms are dusty and the beds are full of bugs. A total of one square meter is reserved for the shower and sink. Everything is old. Broken down. I would never recommend

Clean and nice room, pet friendly, good breakfast and dinner. I loved the care of the girls at the reception, they also helped me to find a dog sitter for my little poodle. I will come back and recommend this place to my friends and family.
Ornella Vaccani — Google review
First of all, I would like to mention the very good and convenient location of the hotel. As a golfer, a hotel near golf courses was very important to me. It is also close enough and within walking distance to the center of Bad Ragaz, Tamine Therme and other places. It is also very convenient to get there by car from the hotel. The hotel itself is very cozy, polite and friendly staff, delicious and fresh food in the restaurant, both at dinner and at breakfast. Of course you'd like more choice when you're staying for a longer period of time, but better fresh and tasty than lots of choice but no taste. It is worth mentioning that the territory of the hotel is very beautiful, everywhere is very clean and tidy. The rooms in the castle are cozy, neat and clean. Maybe there is a little lack of space, and there is no convenient place to put personal things (wallet, jewelry, phone, etc.). It would be very good if there was a small cabinet with drawers next to the bed. Very good value for money and I think the hotel really deserves 4 stars. I will happily come back next time and recommend to others.

I have been staying at this hotel a few times since 2020 and have seen how down it is slowly going. The people who use to work there are almost all gone and the new staff is often unrespectful, dirty and unwilling to help. the rooms are dirty and the carpets old. The unkind and always upset dark receptionist Janine Schtrumpf who treats the hotel like her property and the director like her teddy bear is very unpleasent and mean. ( I was outrageaous to see how she also answers to people in the comments here) I had to stay in the rooms outside the hotel that are like motel rooms last time because that is the only place where you can stay with a dog and it was horrible. Full of mosquitos. Impossible to leave a window open and of course no air inside and no mosquito nets. I like the location a lot because close to the thermal baths and because due to the big rocks that suround the hotel there is no internet connection and no waves. If you have the chance to not have mosquitoes in the room or ear the neighbours all night you will sleep well.

Lovely picturesque castle on the slopes of a stunning mountain range. Huge grounds with an outdoor pool and lots of parking. The castle rooms were booked out so we stayed in the pavilion, which was great as we could park right in-front of our room and off load our bags. There were delicious wild blackberries there too. The room has a terrace and there are two rooms to a block. Comfortable bed and linen. Cute little chocolates and ear plugs next to the bed, which we didn’t need as it was so quiet. Breakfast is served in the castle. The eggs were really fresh, however breakfast could do with a bit more variety, more quality meats, cheeses and freshly cooked omelettes would be good. The bread was yummy. Reception and the lounge areas are stunning in the castle!

The casual campsite restaurant Giessenpark offers a diverse menu featuring East Asian, Indian, and Western dishes. Situated in a pleasant atmosphere, the venue provides an ideal setting for relaxation. The restaurant boasts a great pool and is known for its delicious food and friendly staff. It is highly recommended for those who enjoy Indian cuisine, as it offers high-quality dishes and excellent service. Additionally, Giessenpark is family-friendly with a large playground nearby.
(Translated by Google) The Giessensee is a dead arm of the Rhine. Nice park in the middle of a golf course. But the real attraction is the lovely town of Bad Ragaz, where there are regular art exhibitions (Bad RagARTz) and a visit to the thermal caves in the Tamina Gorge is also worthwhile. Parking is fairly well organized in the city. There is a relaxed, almost Mediterranean atmosphere. The only downside is the casino, which is oozing with ugliness and you want to avoid it.

Be careful at the restaurant. They charged me over 10 USD for tap water and the meals may use sugar or sweetener as a flavor enhancer. Very expensive even for Switzerland. Over 30 USD for a warm chicken salad. In sure there are safer choices in town.

Pizza restaurant
Pizzeria Don Giovanni offers a delectable pizza experience with its thin and crispy crust. The Italian proprietor provides friendly service, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The location adds interest, but it is the delicious food and amiable staff that truly stand out. Fresh ingredients are used to craft their pizzas, such as the small Hawaiian pizza shown in the picture. Their menu also includes pasta dishes like carbonara, which are equally satisfying.
Location is interesting but it is good food and friendly people that run it. Fresh ingredients. We got number 10 pizza and then pasta carbonara- yummy yummy.

Order was neither on time nor complete. Every time I‘ve called so far i had to listen to complaints about a lot of orders coming in at lunchtime (pretty obvious as a pizza delivery place?). Pizza itself is great. The rest, not so much.
