Love it, a really clean and quiet beach — although it was slightly raining, the water was clear. Went snorkelling, there were rocks, some reefs and many fishes on the left side of the beach.

This beach my favorite place on earth. White sand, transparent water, secluded and beautiful. You need to see this place for yourself! Stop by at the restaurant for a pad Thai and beer, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious

(Translated by Google) Beautiful beach, hardly anyone to be seen. Beautiful blue water It is located at a resort, there is also a swimming pool and a restaurant where you can eat and drink Most beautiful beach on the island. I don't understand why it's so quiet, hope it stays that way!

Ao Wai is a beautiful, small bay with a lovely white sandy beach and shady trees. The water is clear and it is usually very calm. There is a resort where you can hire mats for the beach and use their restaurant and restrooms. We had a great time at this beach. Please ensure you put your rubbish in the bins. Enjoy 😁
Alastair Foote — Google review
This is a very quiet, calm wave & beautiful white sand beach. The water is clear near the beach. When you go far, there are green seaweeds. I could see fishes swimming from above the ocean. We loved this beach & stayed several hours swimming & eating lunch.

My favorite beach at koh samet. You park infront of resort and walk to the beach. None asks ypu anything. There's caffe/resto and small shop, toilette, that you can use. Beach is quiet, sea is great, no big waves, sand magical
Ned — Google review
Very quiet beach, to get to the beach need to walk thur the resort. The restaurant has fair price of food and drink. However, they will charge 50 baht for charging phone there
jirantanin Soponviriyanon (Nattybearound) — Google review
Stunning quite beach, the sea is very clear, no rocks under water. Recommended for those who need total relax and beautiful views.
Eva Klimovich — Google review
It is a beautiful beach with white sand and crystal clear water...... BUT it is such a shame that the beach is full of rubbish. It is a big turn off to see plastic straws, bottles and bags floating everywhere. Obviously the resort there doesn’t take a responsibility?? Pretty good amount of coral behind the left side of the rock. Lots of fish and some soft corals. Please, whoever visits the beach, contribute to pick up some rubbish that this beautiful beach deserves.
Miho — Google review
Lovely beach but the speedboats have destroyed the corals due to that there isn't much wildlife left in the sea. Not good for snorkling.

Outdoor Activities
Ao Phai is a picturesque beach on an idyllic island, boasting a compact stretch of pristine white sand and stunning waterfront views. Visitors can enjoy comfortable resorts and delectable waterfront restaurants while experiencing the natural charm of the island. The beach is perfect for relaxing with clean waters and opportunities for natural photography without any intrusive construction. However, it can become crowded during peak seasons, which may detract from its serene atmosphere.
Another small beach bay with fine white sand, but with more bars and a party vibe compared to Samet Beach. Not many dogs and no public toilets but plenty of restaurants and bars around. Good for swimming or relaxing as shallow and not deep gradient.
Jay Roams Thailand — Google review
Ao Phai is situated next to the main beach (Sai Keaw Beach), walkable distance from Sai Keaw Beach... Personally, it is one of the best beaches on the islands where we enjoyed most. Not so crowded but not so quiet. There are many restaurants and beach bars, cafe alongside. Recommend "the flow bar". Sand is crystal white and shore is wide. Not many hotels and resorts around but Koh Samed isn't that big so you can enjoy riding motorbike from places to places. We stayed on Ao Prao beach, took 20 minutes to Ao Phai....

Its not good. Dirty filthy blehh. Picture is the wall next to the bed. Many more strange 'drips' at the shower on the mirror. Just a bit more up the road and there you find rooms, they are clean (bit more expensive) but worth it. Also the area of the bungalows is full of garbage.

Very cozy and authentic island. Silver sand resort I liked very much. Very friendly staff, tasty food, good beverages, amazing fire show, romantic atmosphere. Room also good, you can find everything needed. Unfortunately it was wavy that's why water wasnt clear but this is out of human control.

Most Thai people like to come here the beach is reasonable long clean and quite many activities food is reasonably priced. In the evening you can relax on the beach platform have a beer and dinner and below you the tide splashes against the beach. This place is cool.

The beach is beautiful and perfect if you want to do nothing very much, you can walk about hundreds of yards and still just be up to your waist in warm water, and there''s nothing to see, dead coral, a few unexceptional fish and that''s it. There is paragliding and ski jets if that''s your thing, and a couple of decent restaurants
Ravi Teja — Google review
CHANGED A LOT!! We used to come here the last few years and now it changed. They built a speed boat terminal to bring more tourists like this. What a shame we came here for the beautiful quiet beach and now it’s noisy almost all day! They rent as well jet skis which make it even worse. Some speed boats don’t even stop at the terminal, they drive straight to the beach for the spoiled tourists. So you have the smell of gasoline and burned fuel while sitting on the beach or having dinner. Too bad, for us it was the last time here I will have to tell my friends as well.

Outdoor Activities
Ao Thian is a serene and picturesque beach with small secluded coves separated by rocky outcrops. The area boasts of white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and stunning scenery that make it a perfect spot for relaxation amidst the tranquillity of nature. Despite its beauty, the beach remains uncrowded due to few visitors opting for it as most congregate at the more popular spots along the main road.
My favorite place on this island. Few people, white beaches and beautiful scenery. By some reason very few people come here, instead the clump together at the main beach by the main road. The resorts here are very cheap and "basic", still I got my gf to agree to move here a few days just to fall asleep from the sound of the waves and to wake up with the ocean right outside our balcony. If you can survive simple accomadations this is a hidden gem!

Just another beach to relax on at Koh Samet. Very peaceful with not a lot of people around. Lounging chairs set up along the beach in the shade of the trees which made it even more relaxing. Food and drinks are available here and the views are amazing. Only visited during a beach hopping tour of the island but would love to come back to stay for a few days.

Nice place 👌 private resort, wish the beach was better, too rocky for me but my girlfriend liked it. Bed was best yet, I'm finding beds too hard for my liking, but the bed here was softa, wish they run something like a taxi to inland and back
Martin Hennessy — Google review
One of the best beaches on Koh Samed. Chill and relax atmosphere. Best Pad-Kaprao and watermelon smoothie on the islands, reasonable price, good rice and quality. We had lunch there almost every day on trip. (Personal opinion) There is a little hidden beach where you can picnic like you own that beach (Left side from restaurant) Unfortunately, the resort is run-down and too vintage, not our style (personal opinion), would be great if they renovate to tropical and beachy beachy feel.

At the end of Koh Samed far away from the pier...this is a fantastic place to walk around. To reach one can walk 7+ Kms, use a tuk tuk or use a motorcycle. It has 2 viewing sides ...both wonderful to explore. We spent about 2 hrs here.

Good place for a couple of days to relax. If you like to relax, go straight to the South of the island as Northern part is much more crowded and dirty. Ao Nuan is great and inexpensive getaway resort. AC seaside bungalow is 1500b, fan room is 600-800. Also we'd recommend to rent a scooter as that way you can easily see the whole island in just a day.

Samed Tubtim Resort, Ao Tubtim is a tranquil and intimate beach destination located near Ao Phai and Haad Sai Kaew. It's a popular choice for couples seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to nearby dining options. The resort offers well-maintained garden view rooms with all the promised amenities. Guests appreciate the private beach, on-site restaurant, and the helpfulness of the staff.
Tubtim is the best spot on the island if you want to be near the party, but are looking for a spot to relax. The party beaches aren't more than a 10 minute walk, but if you need a night in, away from the noise, Tubtim has you covered. Affordable, beautiful, scenic, and homey. Perfect for families and young adults alike. My family and I stayed in the nicest little bungalow with a stunning ocean view, and we wouldn't have traded it for anything.

February 2015. Travelling with daughter and sister. We booked a bus from Bangkok and a private boat out to Koh Samed, both were great transpiration. Tubtim Resort was quite nice, the beach was big and safe, the meals at the restaurant were good. We were in a small house just north of check in. The room wasn't luxurious but it was a good size and the bathroom and room were clean. The main bed was good but the 3rd bed they made up was simply a massage mat over a hard cot. My sister said it was good but I thought it looked a little hard. The service was always prompt and the staff friendly. Several nights we walk north along the beach to the other bars and restaurants. The Fire performers were awesome at one of these. We always felt safe. Definitely would revisit.

It's not my first time at tubtim resort and I have always a great time. You can perfect relax at the beach ⛱️ and it's quiet at night and the next night club is at the next beach 10 minutes to walk. Some bungalows next to the beach with sea view but the most bungalows are in the jungle 😊 the stuff is like a big family. Thank you so much for take care all the time 🙏

Great value resort on Samed. The beach is great, snorkeling is okay. The beachfront restaurant is pretty good, with very friendly staff (especially Jackie!). If you want variety you can visit the other resorts for food, too.
tbar — Google review
We stayed in a lovely little hut with a fan tight at the back. Not only was this substantially cheaper but also quieter. The huts in general are in the perfect location; just on the beach front. They had a great variety of breakfast with lots of seating. I would recommend not going over the weekends; where you practically have the beach to yourself. If you have the chance watch the sunrise.
Lily-Mei O'Connell — Google review
Affordable resort from ancient times with beautiful beach. We stayed 5 nights with two toddlers in a family room. The huts are relatively old, have below average mattresses but the location and beach are just great. Breakfast buffet is mixed: we liked the Asian stuff (curry, dumplings, congee), salad and fresh Joghurt. the sausage and ham really taste lake wet cardboard / toilet paper. In the egg you taste the dirt cheap margarine you use. For some reason they only have instant coffee. This is surprising, given that 80% of their guests were Central European early retiree couples who looked like they’d enjoy a better cup of coffee. Staff at breakfast (same as at restaurant next to it) is poorly trained: don’t speak English, don’t understand after five days that we, the family with the two toddlers, might require a baby seat etc. But overall: beach is beautiful, save, relatively empty and hence we’d come back.

The best place to stay on Koh Samed. I've been coming here regularly for more than 15 years The staff always remember you, take good care of you. The accommodations are always clean and well kept. The beach is quiet and beautiful compared to the beaches further along that are crowded and busy. This is the slice of paradise on Samet.

We hade an amazing holiday here. Great place, love the beach. Kids friendly. Little quiet part of Coast. Staff is great and the other guests are very Nice. Many regulars comming here. Love sitting och the beach having dinner or a chang.
Jarl Romlycke — Google review
You should avoid this place. Service was so poor and according to other reviews it's been like that for years. No improvement tells a lot of management. They gave me a room and after I was settled in and took a shower, someone came in and said that I need to change a room. I was confused and asked why but the girl didn't understand english. So I needed to pack all my stuff and change a room. No one explained or apologized what happened. Rooms were dirty and not cleaned during the stay, there were no water boiler in the shower, mosquitos and lizards came inside from the window holes and the bar was playing load music all night. Also when I asked from the reception do they know what time the ferry leaves back to the mainland she said that she can't help and they only have speedboats. That was ridiculous. They have to know the schedule for a big boat but didn't just want to help. When I asked can she check from the pier she asked do I have a number. Unbeliavable! Stuff had annoyed look on their face like I was disturbing them and were just on their phones when I tried to talk to them. Luckily I got help from the hotel next door. There are so much nicer places on the same beach. I also stayed at the Blue Bay Bungalows and Samed Villa and can highly recommend both of them. Same price range but nicer rooms, better breakfast and way way more professional service.

good place for cool and very peaceful environment with very different great stuffs together on the beach.... and inn very good location... so we just hire some scooter near our hotel... and its cool beaches and national park.... so cool...
Sagar Thapaliya — Google review
I'm not sure why this place rates so highly, my experience was very poor. From check in with the very unfriendly and unhelpful staff we were off to a bad start. The room had opaque curtains that didn't even cover the whole window, air con was very noisy and despite having a kettle there was no tea or coffee, also gave us a family room when we booked as a couple. Would prefer the extra space rather than a bed we don't need. Room is also very tired and in need of a refresh. First night couldn't sleep due to too much light and noisy air con. Requested a change in the morning. Staff still very unfriendly but gave us a different room. This one had a newer air con and whole the curtains were still opaque at least they covered the whole window. And this room also was for couples. For some reasons, despite the hotel appearing to be mostly empty they placed us right next to the one bungalow being renovated so when we tried to nap during the day it was impossible. Due to the hostility from staff I didn't feel comfortable asking to change again. The second night was only slightly better as unfortunately a very loud bird decided to sit on top of our roof and call all night. While I love nature and did on one level appreciate this, it did make sleep again almost impossible. Luckily it started raining during the night and that caused the bird to stop. The positives: it is in a good location, right near a lovely beach, next beach over only a few minutes walk has lots of bars, shops and restaurants. The brekky is pretty good, exceeded my expectations and lovely setting. It is centrally located to the rest of the island. Other than the reception staff the other staff were pretty friendly. For me the main thing is the staff service. I can forgive almost anything if people are friendly and helpful, something i am used to in Thailand but unfortunately this appears to be the one hotel in the entire country that is not friendly. If I return to ko samet I will stay elsewhere.

My friend and I came here on a Tuesday evening and stayed until Thursday afternoon so for two night’s!! The service here is really good. It was quite quiet because it was during the mid week, but it was perfect for us because that’s exactly what we needed was a beach that was secluded and not full of a lot of people. We rented a motorbike, which was ฿400 per day, included all gasoline. The resort was very well laid out in terms of the little villas. We had a garden view, but it was literally metres to the beach. The breakfast was nothing home to write about, but it did fulfil that breakfast hunger after being on the beach all day! The staff are super helpful ! I absolutely love the restaurant across from the resort, I think was owned by the Tubtim Samet Villa’s ! I would recommend to come stay here if you’re on a budget I think it’s a really good area. I really think the beach is amazing. Also, I met a lady there, is one of the beach massage ladies she was quite elderly and she was so so sweet! Her face was weathered so nicely and she has been there 32 years!! Make sure you tip her generously … ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼 Yes, I would recommend this place!

One of the best in koh Samed. Enjoyed to the fullest. I will go back again. The private beach, and the restaurant was pretty special We had booked a garden view room which was also very neat and clean. All the amenities mentioned were actually present in the resort. Also, I want to mention the helpful nature of the staff. We went one night ahead of our scheduled booking and they not only gave us the room but also did not charge us the whole amount as we reached there around late evening.

The service at this restaurant is the worst in all of Thailand. We waited for 30 minutes without anyone taking our order, despite calling for the waitstaff numerous times. They saw us but didn't come to take our order, as if they didn't want any customers ordering so they could rest.

I've been coming here for 15 years and love it. Most of the coral has been killed off, but it still has clean, white sand beaches, and doesn't get the same tourist contingent that gets blind drunk everynight like most of those who flock to Samui or Ko Phagnan, nor the overly sensitive types who stay safely tucked within Phuket. Samet lack a basic infrastructure and so no traffic. It's a gem so close to Bangkok.

Samed Villa Resort, located on the picturesque island of Koh Samet, offers comfortable rooms with balconies and a range of amenities including beachfront dining, a bar, and spa treatments. Koh Samet is known for its affordable options compared to other Thai islands like Koh Samui. Visitors can indulge in delicious seafood at popular restaurants or enjoy evening BBQs on the beach.
Our family loved our vacation here. So much fun! Pros: - Service was 10/10. - Awesome beach area. We had kids with us and they loved it. There are some fun rock pools/areas to snorkel and see some reef life! - Great restaurant at the resort and more great spots just a short walk away. - Rooms were comfortable and you're so close to the beach! - We rented motorcycles and rode the main road and loved stopping at all the different coves/sightseeing spots (see photos) Cons: - In the evenings the music from a neighboring resort was pretty loud (especially on the weekends) - There are pictures of a swimming pool on google, but there is no swimming pool. Overall, we loved our experience, and would love to return again!

The bungalow we stayed was great and roomy for five of us. The hotel has lots to improve on. The staff is not very friendly and the food is mediocre. The restaurant next door has a better selection and tastes much better. The beach is great and fun to play in but could use some cleanup by the staff of the hotel. We have travelled many places and the little and big things sure get left out with this hotel. I would stay somewhere else.

This was my second stay at Samed Villa Resort. Both stays were in lovely beach bungalows. Very clean and comfortable. I think Samed Villa Resort is the best place to stay in Koh Samed. The rooms were nice (some are older than others but all with AC), service great, and restaurant’s breakfast, dinner, lunches..just Perfect! Also very family-friendly place. The music from disco (hotel next to Samed Villa resort) was a bit loud but stopped at midnight, and you can always wish a room from a bit further. The location is perfect, too. The sea and white sand are just a few meters from the Resort.

Really enjoyed staying here. Location is superb, lots of amenities, breakfast is really good, hotel staffs are quite friendly and helpful, spa services are available, both garden view as well as sea view rooms available. I was quite lucky as my room got upgraded to a nicer one. Scooty/motorbike rental service located just at the entrance gate (300baht per day). Overall nice experience except mosquito issue but electric bats/rackets were provided so no complaints. Local van service to main pier is also available just in front of the hotel. Sunrise view was splendid.

It is a nice place. The food was great, with a large selection at both the breakfast bar and the restaurant: I, personally, had a nice time. However: there is an unusual amount of bugs in the rooms. The location is gorgeous, and although the walk up to some rooms is a touch long late at night when you're tired, it's really scenic and a lovely place. I wouldn't say I'll be rushing back, but I would certainly take the opportunity to stay again. Worth the trip, and the pros most certainly outweigh the cons. I wod recommend to anyone staying on Koh Samet.

Great value for money. The atmosphere is good, with a nice beach and a nice restaurant. The staff are so nice and friendly. We will probably be back here. The rooms we’ve had were a bit far from the lobby so for the next time we’ll probably ask for closer rooms.

Staying in one of the Bungalows along the rocks was just the perfect getaway, simple living with arguably one of the best views in the world had me feeling relaxed, refreshed & ready to enjoy myself every day I woke up to that view. Less crowded beach with lovely view ,can even see sunrise 🌅 by the beach. Room is quite okay moderately clean Hotel area densed with tree so it becomes a bit harder to dry your wet clothes. The only reason I didn't rate the star higher is because the smokers. I mean ..really!? we come to enjoy the holiday and get some fresh air ! And then we have to experience a bunch of European people smoking non stop from 5 am till night! Hotel should manage the smoking problem more seriously at least zoned them where everyone can live their life peacefully Not to mention the pile of cigarettes bud buried beneath the sand , its disgusting

Relaxing stay, clean, good food. Its a very clean place and well equipped compared to other places in Thailand I stayed before. Pros: enough space at all, enough places on the beach, clear water, clean rooms, good breakfast, excellent restaurant. Cons: a bit rocky beach (walk 3 minutes to the right and enjoy a better one), russian families staying there may be a problem to some other guests, a nearby bar is pretty noisy in the evening until midnight. So I wouldn’t recommend it for a honeymoon, but between the weekends it’s a nice place to stay 3-5 nights.
Eric Schmitz — Google review
I can really recommend this place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is great, with a variety of both western and Thai dishes and served quite fast. The beach in front of the resort is somewhat rocky, but walk a few hundred meters southward, to the Reef bar next door, and you’ll find a perfect sandy beach.
Peter Zoon — Google review
Can’t really rate the place as I haven’t stayed there nor eaten at the restaurant. I walked in at 9:10pm because of the amazing smell from the pizza oven. When I asked for a table I was told to come back tomorrow because the chef’s closing the kitchen… at the same time they were slicing up a pizza that just came out the oven. I guess it would have made everyone go home late to put one last pizza for us while the oven while still hot. I understand the island sleeps early, we came for holiday not retirement house.

I felt angry. The soundproofing conditions of this hotel were terrible. the European tourists next to my room kept making noise and it was so loud at 3 am, which woke me up from my dream,I couldn't sleep。the whole。night. We compared almost all hotels in Koh Samet and finally chose this one, but it barely allowed me to get sleep and good rest. Not being able to get good rest in the hotel is the worst thing for me.

We had dinner on the beach and found there was a big menu card with Thai and western dishes. Waiters were kind and reasonably fast but would not allow us to move tables even before we ordered... The food was nice without leaving a big impression. Location on the beach was good though it is what it is to sit on plastic chairs for dinner. We might go again as the food was nice and selection big, but we probably wouldn't seek it out.

Great rooms in a very busy area packed very close to each other. The restaurant staff is exceptional and very helpful. However I had a major incident at my room and reported this to the front desk as I lost critical medication when put in the fridge due to a dripping fridge that neither housekeeper, minibar nor maintenance seem to have cared about. Front desk promised me that management will get back to me. Never heard from them so far. Now saying I didn't close the fridge door properly (which makes no sense at all) is just the business attitude that comes in line with my experience at this property. Sad to see that and I am used a more professional approach. During reservation process I indicated that I am a travel agent and I also left my business card. Hotel doesn’t seem to care at all. Due to this service attitude I won’t recommend the property and ask ppl to follow me for other hotels recommendations where a guest still matters

Their beachfront rooms are very good. Sadly the bar nearby blasting loud music until at least midnight. The beach in front is ok but there are better. Would comeback for views and quality of room. If it was not so loud at night i would stay there again for sure.

Let’s start with the good things, let’s say you get what you pay for. Standard rooms, nice staff and good location. But but but, there is a techno bar located next to and they play really really strong until late. For us there were a cleaning hub under our house. No sleep in the evening/nught and early up. We left . But this is a nice hotel with friendly staff. Koh samet is crowded and dirty, there are so many better places along the coast on the mainland

Everything was great here: location, food and service. The only thing we were disappointed was that smoking is allowed everywhere in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is fantastic: good price, good food and great service. But as soon as a neighboring table has finished eating, they light cigarettes. Without considering other guests who are eating their food. disrespectful!

This restaurant, Baan Ploy Samed, located in Koh Samed, offers diners an incredibly stunning seaside view. The seafood is exceptionally fresh and delicious, with patrons raving about the pineapple rice and fried doft shell crab. While the wait for food can be lengthy, it is suggested to bring a good book or exercise patience. The restaurant has a great ambiance and friendly staff. Guests enjoy the refreshing salted plum soda and would appreciate stronger cocktails.
We had some pineapple rice and fried dhoft shell crab witch is my favourite .!!! Must visit place !!! Very good vibe . Nice cocktail but could be a bit stronger !☺😚🤪

We went to this restaurant only to eat. The hotel is very nice. The meeting arrangement is very nice. They have arranged the tables very loosely so that no one disturbs each other. As the hotel is on the beach, it felt very nice and different to take off the slippers/boots and sit in the hotel. The bathroom is very clean. Rates are same as other hotels. Dine anywhere in Koh Samet only 5-10% difference in bill. Food quality is amazing. The service is a bit slow but it's ok everyone is here to relax. There is a 7.45 pm fire show on Fridays and Saturdays. It is a very nice and watchable show. As the hotel is on the beach, the atmosphere is very nice. There is plenty of space for parking.

Ambiance - perfect.. food, we ordered tomyam - too sour, green curry - too salty, stir fried kale oyster sauce - salty, squid deep fried - was good..

I always dine here when I’m in Koh Samed, this seaside restaurant has a an absolutely breathtaking view! The seafood was fresh as can be and the taste was really good. The only downside was that it felt like I was waiting for the tide to come in for my food to arrive. Just make sure to bring a good book or a patience potion, because the wait for the food is longer than a mermaid's hair. I swear, I aged a decade while waiting for my food to arrive. And just when I was about to start a hunger strike, but my food finally arrived.

Nicest food we’ve had on the island. Great grilled scallops about 10 in a serve and large spicy prawns, fresh as! Green curry lovely and roti great as well !

This is one of the best, if not the best restaurant on the island of Koh Samet. The cocktails are deliciously refreshing. The menu is extensive, everything is fresh and tastes out-of-this-world. The location is priceless, right on the beach under the shade of the trees. Just install yourself in a pit-table, indulge on the food and the view.

Banana Bar is a cozy family-owned restaurant on Ko Samet, known for serving authentic Thai food with love. It's a popular spot for its delicious green curry. The restaurant is part of the vibrant dining scene on the island, which offers a variety of options from seafood to outdoor dining experiences. Ko Samet itself is a renowned destination for beach getaways, just three hours away from Bangkok and boasting beautiful resorts and stunning beaches.
Went on each of my 3 days on the island - loved the food and kind service. Prices so reasonable and everything delicious. Had tom kar gai, stir fried basil and chilli chicken, kang pa, and mango and sticky rice all fabulous and generous portions too

Really tasty food, we came here nearly everyday during our stay. The portions and prices are good would definitely recommend. All food was super good i don't think you will go wrong with any recipes and the owners are super nice.

Best curry I’ve ever had. Hands down. Staff was insanely friendly. Vibe was fun and easy going. I’ll be thinking about this place for a while.

At first glance the Banana Bar seems like a tiny cafe/shop but don’t be put off by the unpretentious look. They consistently serve the best Thai food in the area and the many five star reviews are fully deserved. Every dish is individually cooked and adjusted to your taste level for chilli and the curries (red, green, massaman etc) all have distinctive and unique flavours. There are not many tables and you may have to wait a bit if they are busy but you will not be disappointed.

Surely the best restaurant in town. The food is amazing, no matter which meal you order, it's all cooked with lots of enthusiasm and fresh ingredients. Prices are fair and honest and last but not least, the owners are super friendly. They will have a nice chat with you, help you out with some info and tips about the island and they will take care you the very best they can. Definitely our favourite restaurant on Koh Samet and we will come back here again for sure.

Hands down the best restaurant on the island and one of the best meals we had during our time in Thailand. Wonderful and friendly owner and absolutely everything was top notch. I dream of the garlic squid to this day many years later.

Highly saught after restaurant, but be prepared that the place will be packed with people since there is only about 6-7 tables. But you can always share tables or see if anyone is about to leave. The woman who serves is also just so damn charming and lovely and cracks jokes all the time! And ofcourse the food is delicious!

This is a lovely, quiet little spot with good food. The owner is a friendly lady who often takes time to chat with customers. The food, especially the curries, are delicious. I had a coconut smoothie that actually tasted like real coconut, and not the super sweet syrupy stuff you get at most beach restaurants. I come here every time I’m in Koh Samet.

the best massaman curry i have ever had! so many vegetarian options and the food was so delicious. you may wait a while for your food (30min-an hour) but it's worth it :)

Amazing, best food on the island! Every meal home made with love 10 STARS

This place looks very unpretentious, almost like they live in it. The service was slow, however food was more than excellent. There’s a reason why all the tables are always taken. The only restaurant that really deserve 5 stars for the taste of food on this island. Yes, maybe a bit overpriced however its worth it.
Yoana Vasileva — Google review
This was not only best food that I had on Samet, but the service well outperformed every other place that I had been (prompt, friendly, actually comes back after you finish your food without aggressive waving..). I was so happy that when I tipped “too much”, she tried to give it back. It’s small, and easy to pass by, but you’d be missing out!

Best food I’ve had in Thailand! Food is fresh, delicious and made family style. There was a long wait and food took an hour to come out, but it was worth the wait. Excellent vegetarian options, highly recommend if you want amazing local food.

Food and price absolutely amazing. Best Tom Ga soup I have had so far. Just don't expect super fast food delivery, relax, enjoy a beer or two while waiting, and you're in for a treat. Very limited seating, so either come early or will have to get lucky.
Dan Fries — Google review
Friendly, family-run restaurant (mum, dad and two daughters). They don't take bookings and only have 6 tables, so arrive before 7pm if you want a seat. Tasty food - the Thai omelette was particularly good.
