Mouria is a stunning restaurant with a breathtaking view of the sea and mountains. The entrance, adorned with wine leaves, sets the stage for the beautiful surroundings. The outdoor seating area is nestled under ancient blackberry trees and a roof of wine plants, offering a cozy and serene atmosphere. Guests can enjoy generous portions of fresh and delicious food while taking in the idyllic scenery. The staff, led by Nikolas, provides professional and friendly service, along with great recommendations for wines.
We absolutely love Mouria! We visit every year and this year we were lucky enough to get married there. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they really went above and beyond for our big event. Spectacular view and the best cocktails in Epidavros. Can't wait for our next visit.

We bookended a Peloponese tour with stays at this hotel . It’s quite simply delightful . Ambience 10/10 Hospitality 10/10 Location 10/10 We have never felt more welcome anywhere, like staying with family, only better . Amazing sea views, super clean , well appointed and maintained.Breakfast on the terrace under vines and an ancient Mulberry tree.We followed a morning swim by trying without doubt THE best marmalade and homemade jams and a satisfying selection of breakfast treats . It’s literally on the shoreline , a short walk takes you to the little amphitheatre and 5 minutes more into the town . A super Family run business , it’s done with aplomb and a smile … loved it

A beautiful restaurant with a perfect view! The food was fresh and delicious! amazing!!! Very generous portions too! Definitely do recommend the place! 😊 Nikolas and his team were professional, friendly & polite.( very good selection of wines too and good recommendation by the staff) . Apart of the restaurant the whole place is a germ ; nearby you could swim, enjoy the sun, have a few cocktails all day and night ( negronis and zombies are gooooood) ! A place to visit again and again!

Beautiful location! Very inviting from afar but but but.....We have been spending our summers around the corner from Mouria and we would have loved to go there for coffee or dinner. We attempted it a few times and the experience was always uninviting. Regardless we thought we will give it another try last evening. This was the epitome of rudeness and arrogance unbecoming to a Greek establishment.
Lana Suter — Google review
Only commenting on the restaurant. The competition in Greece is ferocious. Food is generally wonderful. But this place was simply woeful. Surly, unsmiling service, mediocre food, zero passion for ingredients. Everything seemed pre-prepared (badly). And there was much reliance on frozen products. Avoid. Although such a pity. Pretty place and stunning views.

We discovered Mouria about a year ago. An idyllic and peaceful hotel with amazing location, staff and food. A couple of days ago Mouria hosted our wedding. It was magical! We couldn’t have hoped for anything more. Atmosphere, service and food were amazing. We felt very at home and look forward to returning for visits on a regular basis when in need to recharge our batteries!

This place is a little slice of heaven. The entrance through beautiful wine leaf covered passage already serves as prelude to the view that follows, then comes the outdoor part of the restaurant, simple test cozy furniture, set around age old blackberry trees and a roof of wine plants with tiny slices of a brilliant blue sky. Finally one is treated to view of an idyllic sea, a few scattered boats and a magnificent mountain to the right. The food and service of course was also very good. Would gladly visit again.

The review is for the restaurant. Strongly recommended especially the home cooked choices which were extremely tasty (example generous portions with rooster, chicken). Also it was impressive that we asked if we can leave our staff to the table to swim and they were very ok. We didn’t do it finally and we released the table since we realised that more people were coming but the behaviour was really polite. Strongly recommended !

Staying close by at the excellent Fani's apartments we spent more than a few days using Mouria's facilities (3 euro for a sunbed per day). The lawn area has a nice amount of natural shade so pale skins like myself can get a little respite from the glorious sunshine. As we went before the school holidays it wasn't overly packed so the table service was reasonably quick and the young staff always attentive, helpful and polite. Eating at a table immediately adjacent to the sea really let's you know you're on holiday and Mouria had the usual good food selection. The location is excellent, relaxed, beautiful and if you swim away from the bar/restaurant front you may be treated with a jaunt alongside one of the resident loggerhead turtles!

Great view from the beachside of the restaurant but unfortunately the service wasn’t the quickest (during the day with very little guests) and we weren’t super impressed by the food, we had chicken alá crème that lacked taste even if they changed €13 for it. Another thing that might be worth knowing is that they charge €1.5/person for the cover charge (not mentioned in the menu) and €1.5 for 1 litre of water but only 50 cent for the 0.5 litre bottles (which we of course got instead) (Edited for clarification) Would we go there again? Naaa, I don’t think so. Would I recommend someone to go there? Sure, the scenery is great and relaxing under the green levees is great but don’t go there for the food. :)

As an accomodation this place is incredible. Right next to the calm sea. It is acctually a restaurant with 12 rooms upstairs, located outside the small town of Epidaurus and between orange gardens. The area is very quiet and so is staying at Mouria. No Sound from traffic, bars or other entertainments. So if you prefer that, this place is not for you. The bar/cafe is equally nice. And yes, sometimes the waiters are not attentive, but we really like that, it gives the tranquility we like, and if we want to order something we just go to the bar. The restaurant serves nice traditional Greek food, well made and we have had no bad experiences any of the 4 times we have stayed here.

Mike Restaurant in Greece is a top-notch dining establishment that offers an extensive menu at affordable prices. Notably, their fish dishes are exceptional, skillfully prepared without being overcooked unlike other eateries. The service provided by the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. In addition to great food and service, Mike Restaurant also boasts breathtaking views of the sea and a picturesque Orthodox Church. Their stuffed tomatoes and peppers are particularly delectable. For dessert, patrons are treated to delightful ice cream offerings.
This restaurant was the best place we ate at during our one week vacation in Greece. The fish was great (in other places we felt they overcook it) and the service was super friendly! Also great value for money as opposed to other beachside restaurants in these beautiful islands. The stuffed tomatoes and peppers were delicious too! We ate too quickly to take pics so here is one of the view 😊

Simple food made well. Go for the simple seafood dishes and ask for what has been recently brought in by the fishermen. The venue is simple but the view over the harbour is special and it seemed like time stood still. Really enjoyed my meal and time here.

Delightfully situated with great food. We can highly recommend the octopus and the fava. Service was quick too (during the quiet late May season)

One of the best restaurants we've tried... and to think that is the restaurant of a hotel.. incredible! Very very delicious food, fast serving, friendly staff, fresh fish, tasty zucchini and salad and their house wine is good as well. Definitely worth coming here
Flavia Barbu — Google review
Stopped here for lunch, beautiful setting, I really wanted to have a nice cooked fish of some kind. The waiter took me to choose a fish in the kitchen, nice touch, great service to be fair. Unfortunately the fish looked fabulous when it came, but served over cooked, so chewy instead of tender and flakey. The meatballs were superb that my wife had. Only can give a 3 star based on the fish. Didn’t spoil the location, just when you’ve got your head around having fish or seafood, it needs someone cooking in the kitchen who knows how to cook it properly.
Dave — Google review
It was a great place with a wide variety of choices in reasonable prices, excellent service and delicious dishes to enjoy by the sea and below the beautiful Orthodox Church. At the end of our meal they treated us to some ice cream. (PS You should prefer the indoor part of the restaurant if you have a cat allergy.)

Nice restaurant located right in the port facing the crystal water of the bay. Excellent sea food, big dishes that were perfectly cooked along with fresh tomatoes and olive salad and home made eggplant salad. We didn’t want to move as the breeze and the atmosphere were magically…. This is one of the places that you definitely want to visit again.

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. We were 5 and ordered different dishes that we shared. The atmosphere is really relax, surrounded by really cute cats and a dog. The waiter is also very friendly and professional.

Exceptional food. All dishes were extremely tasty and nice big portions. No matter if fish or meat or vegetarian, we enjoyed everhthing we ate. Located directly next to the sea, lovely view.

Food good and great port side location. Service poor and inattentive, had to chase up drinks order and pudding never arrived. No real excuse for the slapdash service as it wasn't very busy.
Margaret Wiscombes — Google review
Not so good in my opinion. Beetroot salad, for example, was beetroot from vacuum bag warmed in microwave or so. No spices, no flavor. We didn't touched it and they didn't even asked us why. We did paid for it of curse. Halumi cheese was not eatable, and I also think it was spoilt. We ate 1 out of 3 pieces only. The other dishes was so so at best. Over rated compared to many good restaurants around.

We stopped here for lunch on a rainy afternoon after visiting Epidaurus. The location is absolutely perfect as it's next to the serene marina. Lots of wine options and my favourite Greek home cooked dishes. Definitely recommend!

Located in Palaia, Το Περιβόλι της Γωγώς is a charming taverna that offers a warm and welcoming ambiance reminiscent of a beloved family house. The cozy atmosphere is complemented by captivating photos on the walls and a beautiful garden adorned with twinkling lights. The menu features traditional Greek dishes made with local ingredients and cooked to perfection.
Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Apart from the environment which is really nice (especially the garden with the orange trees),the food which was really tasty and well prepared the most surprising for me was the attitude of the people working there. Extremely polite, efficient and welcoming. Menu as it supposed to be in a traditional Greek restaurant. Simple (not 1000 different things) made with local ingredients and cooked properly. I would recommend it to anyone, wanting to taste real Greek food and be treated like a friend. An extra point for me is that pets are also welcomed.

Nestled under the shade of fragrant orange trees, this taverna in Palaia stole my heart with its warm and welcoming ambiance. It truly felt like stepping into a beloved family house, with captivating photos on the walls, a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. The beautiful garden, adorned with twinkling lights, added a touch of enchantment. 🌼🌿 Now, let's talk about the food! The rabbit stew was nothing short of delightful. It was cooked to perfection, with tender meat and flavors that danced on my palate. My partner's choice, the lamb with rosemary, was a culinary masterpiece. The succulent lamb paired harmoniously with the aromatic rosemary, creating a symphony of flavors that left us longing for more. One dish that captured our taste buds was the baked aubergines. The combination of smoky and rich flavors, along with the tender texture, made it an absolute delight. And of course, we couldn't resist ordering a Greek salad, called here Country salad, which turned out to be both yummy and generously portioned, leaving us fully satisfied. 🍆🥗 What truly made the experience exceptional was the genuinely friendly service making us feel right at home throughout the meal. 🏡❤️ If you're seeking a heartwarming and delicious meal in Palaia, this taverna is an absolute must-visit! 🌟

Nice place, unfortunately i came with higher expectations… the starters were nice, the fish and the lamb chops were great! They serve complimentary dessert. Very very friendly staff and the atmosphere is great and the place is beautiful. Reasonable prices. The whole experience was good, not perfect :)

Absolutely amazing staff, restaurant and service!!!! If I could give 10⭐️ I would!!!! Highly recommend this restaurant, if it’s not on your travel itinerary add this place to it! I cannot say enough positive things about it. The orange trees that make up the “ceiling” the authentic food…🤤🤤🤤, just spectacular🥰 Big fan from 🇨🇦

A tavern where you sit in a very cute garden full of orange trees and has a menu for all tastes (meat, fish and classic Greek cooked dishes). The service is quick and friendly, and the food is very tasty. I had come years ago while visiting the area and was a must since I came back.

This is a fantastic restaurant. As soon as I walked in I was struck by the warm and colorful environment that immediately encourages one to let go of any concerns and get prepared for a great dining experience. Our very large group was met with smiles all around, and we were easily accommodated by comfortable, nicely-spaced seating. The menu offers a broad range of attractive dishes that should both assureb that there is something for everyone and that there are ample options for culinary exploration among the adventurous. Presentations are quite charming, and the warm lighting really makes the visual pop. I ordered "Wild Pork Stew" after struggling for a long time to choose. It delivered a tangy, comforting flavor with heavy presence of vegetables to go with tasty pork and notable contribution from a few small bones. Spying the perfectly done fries on others tables gave me the notion of adding a side order to have with my stew, and I enjoyed that very much. A nice cold beer topped off the entire experience perfectly for me. From seafood to lamb to beans and beyond, I saw or tasted so many other dishes I wished I could have indulged in. As far as I'm concerned, your visit to this restaurant will be deeply pleasing and memorable, especially in the company of good friends and loved ones. I intend to dine here every time I am in this area.

I would come here every day if I could. We are sailing the Greek islands and came to enjoy a lovely dinner under the orange trees. We were met with the kindest people, live music, and delicious food. They took us to the kitchen to view the food to help with the selection, and it was such a great time!

I absolutely adore Poseidṓn, particularly for their seafood options, but everything they offer is exceptional. I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance a year ago and was thrilled to return. I dined here twice last week and the grilled dorado was absolute perfection. The service was also outstanding. It's difficult to fathom anything better. Additionally, as a solo diner, I quickly became surrounded by new companions, as evidenced by the photo.
The best service I've experienced in Greece. Young Greek waiters who speak English well and are polite and prompt. We ordered the mixed seafood plate and mixed veggie plate. Everything was fresh and cooked well. The tables are directly next to the water. My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Epidavros. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We dropped by this area on the way to Rafina from Nafplio in October. It is a beautiful seaside hotel and restaurant. We sat outside for lunch since the weather was beautiful. We sat The ocean view from our table The menu looked good and our server was very nice. The food was delicious and the house wine was reasonably priced.

Great food Great view Friendly staff We were greeted instantly upon arrival and seated by seeinic view by the water. The fish was fresh and tasty. The tzatziki was one of the best we had in Greece and the homemade meals were delicious. A must try for anyone in the area or anyone looking beautiful dining experience, day or night.

BEDBUGS IN ROOM 8! We wake up at 02:30h last night, feeling small bites and bugs all over our body. We inmediately turned on the light, and could see them over the pillow, mattress and the upholstered headboard. Needless to say, we have not been able to sleep a single minute after that. We tried to talk to someone in reception, but no one was there. This morning we informed the hotel about the situation, and even sent them pictures and videos. We told them that although we were supposed to stay for 2 nights, we would inmediately leave. They said: "Ah, ok. We didn't know about bedbugs. But you still have to pay for the room". They even have charged us for the room MORE money than we were supposed to pay according to our reservation through Booking (I pointed it out to them but I suppose that the special experience with bedbugs needs to be payed off) I think it is completely unacceptable, not only that they have (at least one) a room INFESTED with bedbugs, but also that they make us pay the whole price and did not even apologize properly. We could not speak with manager either. Please, future guests, STAY OUT OF HERE. Specially room number 8.

I absolutely love Poseidon, especially for seafood, but just about everything is superb. I found this restaurant by chance a year ago, and I was so happy to be back. I ate dinner here twice last week. The grilled dorado is perfection. I also appreciated the terrific service. It’s hard to imagine anything better. Oh, and as a single diner, I was quickly surrounded by new friends, as you can see by the photo.

Restaurant service was only occasional. Peppers were good. Red snapper were small and nine: too much work with bones. Xoriatiki was good. Liter fizzy water = 0,7 l., but they topped it up with a 0,25 l. when we protested.

We had an amazing dinner. Wonderful fresh cod fish fried and grilled sword fish with a crispy Santorini wine. Pavlos, serving us, is a true gem. He even organised the procedure of the dishes coming according to the time we wanted. Generally the stuff working is excellent.

Εστιατόριο Ταβέρνα ΤΑ ΚΛΗΜΑΤΑ is a charming restaurant located just a quick 15-minute drive from the ancient theatre. Visitors have stumbled upon this gem while wandering around the "ancient walk no. 7" and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and friendly service.
We took a wrong turn and were hungry and discovered this amazing gem. The food was astounding!! We had pork in oven and stuffed zucchini with lemon sauce... and of course Greek salad and tzatziki. All with a half kilo of wine. We will gladly take a small 5 minute detour to dine here again!!

We came upon this place as were wandering around the "ancient walk no. 7" and stopped due to being thirsty primarily. We soon decided the food might just be worth trying ... it was, in fact excellent! Stifado x 2, moussaka, pork knuckle in the oven, stuffed vine leaves and baked aubergine - everyone agreed their meals were the best they've had in a long time (and we go to Greece at least twice a year!).

A wonderful restaurant which is only a quick 15min drive from the ancient theatre. All dishes were amazing, but the imam (stuffed eggplant) was the best! Service was quick, and the owner was super friendly. He even spoke to us Italian when he found out we were a mix of Canadians and Italians. Very happy we found this place, and we'll definitely be coming back!
