A friend and I recently visited Tamburino Village for a meal after hearing positive reviews. From the moment we arrived, our experience was exceptional. The staff, including the friendly girl who greeted us, were all polite and welcoming in a clean and inviting environment. I ordered a calzone, which was impressively large and cooked to perfection without any delays. We also tried the delicious zucchini frittes, which were absolutely delightful.
Come here every year while we do Christmas shopping. Our favourite place to go. Very high standard food and the staff are happy, friendly and efficient

Great food as always. We love eating specials at Tamburino and our kids always love their pasta more than other places. We're not locally based but we love to travel 1h or so for a delicious lunch or dinner. Would definitely recommend the food and will always return for more. Thanks!

Amazing Italian food with great service! Visited during a trip to Clarks Village, found by random but but a real gem with nice ambience and friendly, fast service We shared a starter of the antipasto misto which was varied and all extremely tasty, the funghi alto adige was new to me and a highlight on a plate of highlights, a flat mushroom with smoked cheese and speck on top. Special mention too for the homemade tartar sauce with the calamari. Main was the special of Rana Pescatrice which was a generously heaped plate of monkfish, mussels, king prawns and calamari in a chilli and tomato sauce. All the seafood was brilliantly cooked and the sauce had just the right amount of kick without overpowering any of the fish. Worth every penny as we left absolutely stuffed... which was the only bad part, the awful tease that was a beautiful looking dessert menu full of homemade Italian desserts all calling my name like a chocolate coated siren, and knowing I hadnt even got room for gelato. Next time there WILL be dessert. It would be criminal to miss it twice.

Wow, what a great place to go out and eat. The atmosphere was just out of this world. It felt comfortable and bubbly with a great vibe that felt like we were eating out on holiday. Great food served in good time. It's great to see a lot of home made deserts as you don't see that too often. We also had super service from all the staff. If you are here for a birthday you should mention it to the staff for a great celebration from the whole restaurant. Will definitely visit again.
Peter Litster — Google review
Positive visit. Delicious food, attentive staff. The price was outside our normal range but I could see us coming back to celebrate a birthday (especially having seen the firework fountain and cake that arrived at another table along with tambourines!)

Me and my friend came here for a meal, I've driven past a few times so we decided to take the plunge. Oh my gosh, from the get go it was wonderful. The girl who greeted us, exceptional. Everyone in there was so polite, it was a clean and welcoming atmosphere. I had a calzone which you can see from the image is huge - it wasn't done in a quick second and it didn't take forever so no complaints on cooking lead times! The food was incredibly, we also had zucchini frittes to share - they were scrummy! I had a negroni *Italian kiss noise* it was perfect, really was a beautiful cocktail. All of the staff were great, food is reasonable for the quality you get and the price you pay! I will 100% be going back here, without a doubt :)

Super friendly staff, genuinely lovely people and made the evening special. Food was tasty and can’t wait to go back to try more from the menu. Gorgeous garden for sunny weather and a glass of wine :)

Went for the first time last night and what an experience! I had pizza and my partner had a calzone. They were both exquisite and full of flavour. I'd say the best pizza I have ever had! (Dominoes has nothing on this!) They also had live music which was so good and made the atmosphere so fun (lots of people dancing). Overall this was an easy 5/5 experience and we will be coming back.

As expected my pasta was outstanding 🇮🇹 So cheesy and flavourful, and the staff did not skimp on the parmesan or black pepper. Definitely the place to go to have a cheerful birthday celebration. The staff were exceptional, very professional and zooming around the restaurant. It was quite busy on a Thursday evening but as there's so many tables avaliable I think you can get away without having to reserve for weekdays. The menu is huge, definitely something on there to please the fussiest of eaters and foodies alike!

Very nice pizza and pasta, nice portion as well. We'd like to order dessert but too full after the mains. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Booked a table on a busy Saturday night, the place was packed, so obviously popular! Friendly, helpful staff, lovely food. It was noisy, but it was busy. My partner is a bit deaf, but we could still hear each other, lol! Steps up to the main restaurant. There are a few tables down on the ground level if anyone needs level access. We would recommend Tamburino Village.

Immediately from walking in the customer service was excellent. Extremely polite and helpful guy. Restaurant was very clean and food was good. Pizza dough was fresh and the past sauce I had was very tasty. Great experience
Dave Houghton — Google review
Lovely food very well made. Had the focaccia to start which was very nice, not too garlic-y and proper dough. Then for main I had spaghetti carbonara with chicken added, which had lovely al dente pasta. The service was great, everyone was friendly. The only thing was it was very quiet when I went in and was put in a dark corner of the restaurant when there were lots of other tables.

Frankie & Benny's is a popular Italian restaurant serving American comfort food classics in a family-friendly atmosphere. The food is well prepared and the staff are helpful and friendly. However, the WiFi is rubbish and the restaurant can be quite crowded.
Popped in for lunch on a Wednesday, great service with friendly attentive staff. The food came quick & was really tasty. Will be back again soon 😋

Stopped to eat on the spur of the moment and was greeted by friendly staff and offered a table straight away. The service was quick, our pizzas came less than 10 minutes of ordering. As you can see, topping were sparce, along of crust showing, wouldn't take much to spread the topping a bit wider. Disappointed with the extra toppings on the margarita pizza, ordered broccoli, sweetcorn and mushrooms, each topping was an extra pound. Looks like we had a stalk of brocoli, a table spoon of sweet corn, and a mushroom or two finely chopped. We can buy a pizza from a supermarket for a lot less with much more toppings! The pizzas did taste nice but spoilt by the lack of substance.
Kevin Bridges — Google review
Lovely food rubbish WiFi, great helpful staff. Wide choice of well presented dishes all pretty speedy. BBQ Pizza a little short on meat but very tasty. Double bacon burger hearty and filling, Newyork Chicken flavoursome and filling. Nothing was dry or tasteless just well cooked food.
Richard Hartles — Google review
Staff are really friendly and polite - waiter who served during last visit was very attentive! I had spaghetti and for dessert the cookie dough. The good thing was the portion sizes weren't overwhelming for me so I didn't walk out of the restaurant keeling over and holding my tummy! :D x

Days shopping at Clarke's Village popped in to Frankie's for lunch, firsty they don't start doing lunch until 12 but breakfast is in till then, and Tip ..book when you arrive as they limit numbers due to covid restrictions. So the place is as you would expect American diner, the service was very good bit disappointed about portion size the pizza's are quite small as are the fries, we had a extra portion of mushrooms put on the pizza and you could bearly see them ..they were tiny !!! .. we did feel a bit ripped off to be honest .. needles to say we'll try somewhere else next time.

Prezzo Street is a casual Italian chain restaurant with a focus on stone-baked pizzas and classic pastas. There is also a separate kids' menu. The restaurant has disabled toilets, disabled and step-free access, baby changing facilities, alfresco dining, WiFi and draught.
After struggling to be served locally elsewhere on the same day and then again in the restaurant next door we walked through the door without a reservation and wow! Lovely welcome, kind attentive staff, fabulous food and drink from the set lunchtime menu. Served by Anastasia and her fabulous team. Thank you, you saved our final day out on holiday. We will visit again. Fab restaurant, well laid out, clean and made to feel welcome! Five stars is not high enough!

I was taken to lunch here by my daughter and her partner on Mothering Sunday. We were given a warm welcome. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Plus I enjoyed my complementary G&T😃. Thanks Prezzo for a lovely time. Will definitely be back

Came on a quiet Monday evening. Service was friendly but unfortunately quite slow and drinks often took far too long to come out or certain things had to be asked for twice. Understandable if very busy but when it's quiet it's more annoying. The food overall was very good, somehow they burnt the burger it was quite rubbery on the outside but maybe as it's not Italian in itself it can be forgiven the pizza and pasta elements were quite good at least. Overall a perfectly acceptable evening I would say a tad expensive but everything seems to be now. Wouldn't come back too quickly or go out my way but it's worth stopping in if you are in the area or want an overall good meal.

Booked a table here (recommended) as had a dog with us and wished to have an outside table at a restaurant chain we often use. We turned up ahead of our booking time and although they were busy they soon served us with drinks which were just perfect. The manager kept apologising for a delay that was not really there. Food order was taken and arrived in a reasonable time and was really cooked well. Decided to have a coffee which was made just perfect, the best cup of coffee I've tasted in years. Well done team.

Took my mum out for her birthday lunch this Friday with my sister and we had one of the nicest lunch experiences - food was delicious but it was the absolutely outstanding service that made it so memorable. The restaurant manager (if I remember correctly) Mark (?) was absolutely fabulous and made us feel so welcomed and looked after. We didn’t book so had to wait 30 mins for a table at 1:30pm which we were more than happy to do as just pottered around some shops beforehand. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and really went above and beyond to make mum feel special on her birthday which meant the world. Thank you and would definitely recommend for the fab service 😊

WOW!!! What can I say about this place?🤔. The food was presented beautifully and was absolutely delicious. Service was 💯 both helpful and friendly and everything in this place oozes the wow factor including the fire furnise for cooking that is on display as well as the chef cooking the food. Prices vary depending on what you have and a word to the wise, they automatically add a service charge, which in our case was nearly £20, although if you ask them to remove it off of the bill they will.

Great bowl of pasta and washed down with lovely Malbec served by friendly staff, but please, don't serve icecream in its original tub to save on washing up...... I had to turn it onto the plate ( see photo ) as the spoon supplied was also a size too big.
Richard Noyce — Google review
Staff were friendly and attentive and food arrived quickly. We hadn't booked but the manager found us a table for 2 and even tho the restaurant was busy we were not too close to anyone else. Food was delicious - I had calamari (shared) and then sea bass with gnocchi which was really lovely and just the right size of portion. Highly recommend a visit!

Visited Glastonbury for my birthday and we decided to go here for my meal. The waitresses were absolutely lovely and performed excellent customer service. The food was superb and one of the best i had in a while. The only downfall was that the waitress told us they do not accept AMEX even though on the AMEX website it had stated they accept it , but that was the only negative about our experience. Everything else was 10/10.
leah novin — Google review
Poor food, very bland and expensive for tiny portions. Drinks overpriced. Service was also poor and very slow even though restaurant was half empty. Ordered a crab and lobster dish and there was no crab or lobster, turns out they just make it into a paste and the portion is tiny.

It was very busy for a Monday lunchtime.... probably speaks volumes in itself. Staff were very friendly and humorous. The pizza and pasta we had was brilliant. My wife had sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was massive and she said it tasted superb.

Just passing through and looking for some scram. Left the horse in the free car park and wondered into town. Three bars to choose from, went for the Italian one. Friendly chap on the bar fitted us in with no reservation (nothing to do with Indians). Great food served fast by happy staff. Paid the bill and left🤠

The pizzas & pastas are very good & tasty. The only negative thing I could say about the pasta is that it would be nice to have had it served in warm bowls rather than cold as pasta does not hold the heat & soon goes very cold in unheated dishes!! The service we had from the young lady serving us was outstanding. We will return 💖

Food has always been good, service can vary from the waiting staff but the duty manager who’s taken it on (it’s changed a few times since we’ve been regulars) has been incredible, nothing is too much trouble. Food is varied, always nice and doesn’t take too long. We regularly use our taste card to get 241 on courses.

My wife and I always look forward to dining at Pressos, especially the one in Reading Berkshire. Three times we used the one in Street and always been disappointed. On thev7th April 24 we went in an ordered our meal, two starters and two main courses. Eventually after a long wait, and they weren’t that busy, one starter arrived, I said where’s the other one, off the waitress went to get another one. We had ordered Garlic bread with balsamic onions and mozzarella. It looked like a piece of pizza bread and in the middle you could just about make out some cheese with about half a teaspoon of onions, all that was in the middle of the bread with nothing on the edges. When our main course came, my wife had ordered chicken caesar salad, it looked like a bunch of greenery put on the plate with a couple of slices of cucumber and about half of a chicken breast with slices of lemon. She ate the chicken and left the rest. I had ordered chicken prosciutto and sage with saltimbocco, there wasn’t much of it but it tasted ok. We just paid and left, we won’t be using that Pressos again.
Brian English — Google review
Waited and waited and waited to be seated. One member of staff aimlessly faffing around with empty tables outside whilst tables inside remained un-cleared and messy, and this with only a few people actually in the 'restaurant' , we should have left then. Service was slow and the male waiters body odour was enough to put anyone off their food. We persevered despite this. We ordered the vegan option pizzas......we got the opposite with the dead bird and pigs meat. They offered a refund as if that was acceptable. We drank our drinks and left. Badly trained unmotivated staff, so putting incredibly poor management down as the reason you would want to avoid this place.

Went to Clarke's Village on Saturday, 16th March 2024, and decided to stop for some lunch. Prezzo's looked very inviting and we managed to book a table, as it was a very busy lunchtime. The manager was initially very pleasant and welcoming. We ordered our food, which took some time to arrive. When my food was brought to the table, it wasn't particularly hot and I had paid extra for chicken to be added to the dish. There were 3 small pieces of chicken hidden amongst the pasta and it was the same size as the pasta. There was additional charge of £3.00 for the chicken, which certainly wasn't value for money. When I quietly mentioned it to the manager, she replied curtly that "it was Prezzo's stock control portions". She then ignored us and avoided all eyes contact with us for the remainder of our visit. The drinks were overpriced too. I would not recommend eating there and would avoid adding the chicken to the Rigatoni Arrabbiata dish, especially if you are hungry.

Saffron is a traditional Indian restaurant that serves Nepalese specialties in a contemporary setting. The food is extremely tasty and stands out as one of the best Indian meals available. Raj, the owner, takes the time to personally connect with customers and even asks for their names upon leaving. This attention to detail showcases their dedication to providing an excellent dining experience. Despite some negative reviews, my own visit was exceptional and it's clear that Saffron truly cares about what they do.
After reading some reviews we were a bit worried about what the staff would be like but we couldn't fault them. The curry was lovely & my 4 & 6 year really enjoyed their korma. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Noah said thank you for his lollipop raj 😁

Good option for Indian food. Service also good. We reached there when restaurant almost closed, but staff allowed us to have our dinner. Co-operative staff. Good food. Nice ambiance.

Really disappointed in this place. Came in tonight and there happened to be a “buffet” — which it was not at all, it was a set menu from which you could order and they would bring to your table. Though the restaurant was nearly empty (only one other table), I never saw the supposed “unlimited” aspect of this buffet applied. I ordered Mulligatawny soup, lemon chicken masala, Bombay Aloo, pilau rice and garlic naan (one item from each “category” on the set menu. The waiter asked if I wanted papadum. Stupidly, I assumed it came with the “unlimited buffet” — nope. When I got the bill, that was £5 extra. Food came out lukewarm and underwhelming. It was edible but not tasty, and nothing I would repeat. I finished the papadum and the soup, then ate abour 1/4 of everything else, maybe a little less naan than that. (Btw, that naan was not garlic, it didn’t even have butter — dry as a nun’s fanny. Anyway… I was no longer hungry and the food wasn’t inspiring added calories so I just finished. The waiter — who was sweet enough — came over and asked if I wanted the food to go (after a friendly chastising for not eating more). I didn’t really want to take it but I didn’t want to be rude (or see food go to waste) so I said “ok” He left to (I assume) box the leftovers up for me and grab the check. What happened next was unpleasant: another waiter came rushing over to my table to scold me “No, buffet food can not be taken home!” In this really hostile, accusatory voice that made it seem like I was trying to cheat the system somehow. “No problem, he offered so I said yes, but I don’t really care.” He didn’t know what to say, just gave me a dirty look and ran off. I paid. Buffet was £14.95 — but because of the papadum and a Coke, I paid £25 for the most underwhelming meal I’ve had in ages. Total waste of time, wouldn’t bother going back ever.
Morgan Mitchell — Google review
Having had takeaways for 2 years, we decided to go in for our first meal. The 2 cokes were flat, when we asked for a replacement there was slight hostility and 1 was replaced. We then ordered a mild chefs special curry new to the menu, this arrived and was so hot my husband could barely eat it. I ordered a chefs special chicken which I have had 10 times or more before and love. It was so hot I didn't eat it and brought it home to attempt to cool it down today. Even the himalayan chicken was slightly spicy. This was a very dissapoibting night. We all left unsatisfied with our meals. My husband has been suffering his extremely hot curry ever since.

Absolutely delicious food - one of the best Indian meals I've had. It was a nice touch from Raj to have a little chat with me and ask my name as I was leaving as well. They clearly care about what they do - I can't recommend highly enough. Edit - I've just read some of the other reviews and seen the negative ones which I'm gobsmacked about. It's like I went to a completely different restaurant to those people. I consider myself quite a foodie too.

Phoned in at lunchtime today to arrange a take-away pick up. Rude and abrupt was an understatement. When my wife called in 30 minutes later to pick up the food they were just rude, disrespectful and really did upset her. Appalling behavoir
Stephen Smith — Google review
We have eaten here several times and the food is lovely. But we won’t be going back to sit in the restaurant. On the last two visits the staff have left a lot to be desired. They aren’t rude, but they make you feel as if you should hurry up and leave. Maybe they think by asking you immediately you sit if you want poppadoms is the right thing to do, but I hadn’t even finished pulling my chair up. We went to enjoy our evening, they only had one other table occupied so they were not busy. Within 1 minute we were asked about drinks, I was reading the food menu and I was informed I was looking at the wrong menu - I can read and I knew exactly what I was looking at. We left. Our previous visit there was the same, we made it to the end of the meal but we were watched the whole time, the second it looked like we’d finished they cleared away. We just felt rushed and unwelcome, no chance to enjoy ourselves and this tainted the atmosphere. Such a shame, it could be be lovely.

The Thai restaurant Thai Elephant is a great place to eat, with delicious food and friendly staff. However, it can be difficult to get the staff to really enjoy their job here, as they seem quite indifferent most of the time. Nevertheless, this Thai restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

Amazing food so tasty and plenty of it. Decor was nice although service was a little cold with not much interaction. Definitely will be returning here.

The only reason why I have given 2 stars is because the food is generally good but they are small portions. This is our local Thai & have been using the restaurant for years, although not again! The service i.e politeness of the waiter (Middle aged Thai man) is somewhat arrogant & rude, after receiving nothing but politeness from us. After ordering our food, we didn't receive one of the starters, we left it because we didn't want to be over-full. When it came to paying, the receipt was not shown to us & no change was given! (A tip was expected!) All the way through the meal, we were asked if we wanted more alcohol, when we replied no this was met with more arrogance! Felt like we were totally ripped off & the experience was somewhat.... money grabbing?

I've read a few reviews on here complaining that the food has no taste.... If that was you, get checked for COVID. The food here is awesome. My partner and I have spent time in Thailand and the food is really authentic, tasty and a good level of spicy (medium for the Thai green curry). Quality ingredients with good service. Have visited twice and always left feeling very satisfied, having got a delicious dinner for a very reasonable price. We had a the vegetarian set menu. Very happy customers. We will be back!

First time ordering food from this place (it was a big order too). Will not be going back and I would recommend anyone considering this place to stay clear. Literally every meal we had was bone dry, especially the chicken and the ribs. Even the tofu was like dehydrated rubber. Clearly everything has been frozen and seemingly reheated and all the vegetables seemed to have been microwaved and were soggy. Everything lacked any flavour and clearly their is no passion in the kitchen. Maybe we was just unlucky based on the overall reviews on google, but who knows which reviews are genuine or fake.

Ordered and collected a takeaway this evening. Sea Bass was steamed and should have been grilled. Potatoes missing from main dish which consisted mainly of a sauce with virtually nothing in it apart from the lamb. Prawn starter was missing the mango sauce. A very disappointing experience all round. We spent over £40 tonight but we won’t be spending another penny at this takeaway and I’d strongly recommend you don’t waste your time and money. Feel we’ve been treated as mugs.

Very nice find in Street something else than just the usual pub roast. Everything we ordered ( prawn red curry, elephant special starters, spring rolls, friend rice coconut rice egg fried rice )was good. We also ordered the lamb massaman which was a bit of a hit and miss not much flavour other than just salty. And the spring rolls were a bit bland in flavours. Overall good will be back.

We’d been looking to eat here for a while. Decided to use the app to reserve a table. There was no confirmation sent but we arrived at the time booked anyway.. apparently the request had been seen but not responded to. We were the only two people to sit in and eat all evening (hence, little or no atmosphere) however the kitchen remained busy with takeaway orders. A sweetcorn fritter and a hot and sour soup to start, both very tasty and presented beautifully. Prawn pad Thai and chicken massaman both absolutely delicious. Both presented very well and exceptional in taste. Every single component within the dishes were cooked to perfection, an absolute delight. We hope to return again, perhaps on a busier night or for takeaway. Almost certainly the best Thai food I’ve had! And well done on the cleanliness of the restaurant.. this goes a long way in my book.

Best meal I've had for ages, well worth the drive from Yeovil. Plenty of Vegan options or food which can be made Vegan e.g. No egg. I had tofu shi shu ( I think it was called) and it was delicious, with a decent sized portion. Coconut rice was also really tasty. We'll definitely be back next time we are in the area.
