Great place to visit in summer! The sea is not so cold and it goes really deep ( not like in Gdansk, where it barely reaches your knees). The beach is not super clean, there are a lot of stones and other things, the sea also has a lot of stones that can cut your feet. However, we've had some beers and enjoyed our time.

Fischbrötchen, Fries, beer.. what else can you possibly ask for? Wide choice if sauces available

Very nice little Harbour. Lots of little booths around with fish and other stuff.
Carsten Kreuzer — Google review
Perfectly decent beach, and forgiving gentle seabed profile. Unfortunately we went on a day when it was too hot. Also could not find anywhere decent to get a bit of lunch and ended up going to a kiosk which did not have good choices on their menu. What they did have was only "O.K.". Five stars for the beach, but two for the facilities. Round up to four for the benefit of the doubt.

Really enjoyed this place, it was a glorious summer afternoon and we spent a lovely couple of hours walking around taking in the atmosphere, great place to have a nice meal or drink and watch the world pass by

A beautiful little harbour with agreat fish restaurant, and an exceptional snack bar, which serves food, snack, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks etc. And the best gluwine ( with rum) I have tasted for a long time. Fresh fish straight back from the sea can be bought in the morning, and from the restaurants during opening hours. Niendorf is a lovely town, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and a huge beach. Well worth a visit.

Seebrücke Niendorf is a vibrant Ostsee beach offering everything one needs for a fun day out. Visitors can easily find comfy beach chairs and access to the sandy beach, either through kurtaxe or by renting seasonal spots in the sand. The area also features amenities such as cold drinks, snacks, nearby restaurants, an indoor saltwater pool (with complex Corona restrictions), and piers for leisurely walks.
Beautiful place with a lovely view of the sea. It was a bit windy and cold when we visited but still a nice place to spend an evening. The place is also very close to a bus stop from where you'll get connections(every 30 mins) to Lübeck/Timmendorf railway station.

Though the weather did not cooperate with our visit. We still managed to spend good amount of time here. There was no much crowd. The beach has coffee shops around. Good place for lots of activities for families.

Authentic nice coastal town, lots of restaurant, and even a surf school. Recommendable!

My wife and I visited this pier at the end of a rainy day. Not a lot of activities to do here, though it's a great place to take photographs of the beach and surrounding area
James Craigen — Google review
It was an oasis of fun. Spontaneously came out to this Ostsee beach and found everything a person needs. After some searching with several beach chair vendors - the guy on the far right side, facing the beach, can always get you a comfy beach chair, at great prices. At Seebruecke Niendorf you can get beach access, but you need to pay somebody to let you get a great spot. Either the "kurtaxe" or you rent seasonal spots in the sand. Or find a day rate. It's worth it. I found cold drinks, snacks, restaurants nearby, an indoor saltwater pool (complex Corona restrictions), and a sandy beach. I was able to sit and watch the ocean and even swim in the cool waters of the Ostsee. There are piers to walk and bus stops nearby.

(Translated by Google) Since I received a voucher for a refresher course for my birthday, I set off for Timmendorf, even though it's not actually in my catchment area. Mixed feelings and a bit unsure since the last dive was in 2001. But as soon as we arrived, everything disappeared. Andreas and Bernd made me feel like I belonged. A small diving center with good equipment, even if the Baltic Sea is already 16° again. A big thank you to Bernd for making my return to work so exciting and easy. To be honest, I imagined it would be worse 😉 In any case, it made me want to go to sea.

(Translated by Google) Today I completed a refresher course with Kathi and am impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the school. I quickly felt more like I was visiting old acquaintances than people I had just met. Even though the school is certainly very popular, I didn't feel like "one of many". In addition to all the professionalism, there was also a lot of fun when it came to diving and the rest. I look forward to further diving experiences with and with you!

(Translated by Google) This diving center is only recommended! You will be welcomed in a friendly and very nice way, you will be looked after almost caringly and you will be very flexible. The dives are planned and carried out conscientiously and you feel like you are in good hands right from the start. Know-how and experience can be seen in every diving instructor. Nevertheless, the fun is of course not neglected. All in all, the three dives I did with Nice Dive 4 u were a blast! And I already know: if I go on vacation to the Bay of Lübeck again, I will definitely go back to Timmendorfer Strand and do more dives! Thank you for the great experiences and see you next time!

(Translated by Google) Just had an open water dive through this diving school. It took place directly in the Trave, a river where there is a swimming warning due to the poor water quality (You can even google it). Afterwards I had gastrointestinal problems for several days. Unfortunately there was no agreement regarding this in advance. The reason I got was: The swell in the Baltic Sea was too high. Why you have to switch to the Trave is a mystery to me. There are healthier alternatives than this crap. Very unfortunate. Sehr schade.

The whole area are accessible for wheelchair and if you come with children it's not necessity to bring the stroller inside (there is stroller parking available here) because the place is not too huge which children from 2 year old could walking aroud without getting tired and this place is very interesting for them to only see from stroller, they will want to walking and running around and see everything freely and if they eventually tired of walking, you don't have to carry them for too long. I did bring stroller in and it was almost useless because my toddler prefer to walk and move freely to see everything. It was just not practical to watch and folling your toddler and pushing empty stroller. Next time we will leave our stroller outside. Very good aquariums, we saw a lot of interesting sea animals here, the staffs are friendly and kind, very good place to spend weekend with family especially with children.

This huge aquarium is next to the Baltic Sea beach. A good place to see some sea life. sea turtles, sharks, sea horse and a lot more. A lot of variety of fishes are there to see, kinda like an hour and a half long activity when you are at the beach.

Not big one, but also interesting like other sealifes. Good place to spend some tome. Main attraction is water tunnel with stingrays swimming around you and also the biggest aquarium with sinken boat inside.

We spent about 1.5 hours here with our daughter while visiting Timmendorfer Strand. This isn’t an all day experience but it was entertaining and fun. A little expensive but this is as to be expected in a tourist town.

We visited aquarium in the weekend and were shocked by number of people there. They don’t regulate number of tickets however we bought them in advance and there was certain time of visit on the ticket. We couldn’t walk in museum, it was just very long queue from beginning to the exit where you should just slowly move. All aquariums were misted, conditioner didn’t work and my child got sick after the visit - it was no distance at all and just awful ventilation. The worst experience I had visiting aquariums so far and I would want my money back as we couldn’t see anything and enjoy the visit.
Alesya Kotsyuba — Google review
A nice aquarium with quite a large variety of fish and aquarium animals for its smaller size! I recommend going mid- to late afternoon to avoid crowds (although we went during the local school spring break and it was not very full). It has some unique attractions, and many kid-friendly activities too, such as a "petting zoo" with live starfish and a stamp book where kids can collect stamps and get a prize at the gift shop. All animals were easily visible and fairly active, and the water tunnel with sea turtle and sharks was also neat. We took our time and were done after 1.5-2 hours maximum. The 4 stars is for the price/size. Parking is not available directly on-site; you need to park at a nearby shopping center and walk 5-10 minutes. Is a nice afternoon thing to do!

It's actually beautiful, but not that many things that you can see. My visit ended within 30 minutes. Still it was a nice experience.

Fantastic place that can delight not only the youngest. Very nice and friendly staff who explain and bring us closer to the underwater world. Prices very affordable with the possibility of many discounts. After a one-hour journey, you can buy a souvenir and have lunch.
Damian Pustul — Google review
A bit disappointed overall. The place is okish for an aquarium, just okish. High entrance fee. I got the tickets online, and still had to wait in line for a clerk to scan it and give me a receipt - a scam to justify to pay for the express tickets. One young girl at the entrance doing that and two more just chatting behind while doing nothing. Express tickets make no difference once you are in. Many glasses were a bit dirty so it was diffficult to see the animals. Some sections are so tiny if you got a bit of traffic jam forget about viewing anything. I would not recommend to visit this place. Only if you happen to be around.

(I've edited the review after the feedback from the Aquarium because fair is fair: kids can have a fairly enjoyable experience when this isn't too crowded - however, pushchairs and crowds make this a challenge) Our experience was on a rainy days and school holidays: cramped with damp, poorly lit rooms and passages. Coming here during the school holidays wasn't great. We found the price for adults excessive.
