Waterfalls
The road to the falls was scary and steep. You have to be very careful in driving your motorbike. View is, of course, wondrous. If you have a lot of time in Koh Kood, you should definitely visit this site.
JEZ and the Universe — Google review
Would say this is the waterfall on the island least worth visiting. There is a long track road down to it, we walked instead of taking the moped as it was very steep, and then there is a little homestay near the steps down. You can’t swim at this waterfall but it is pretty.
Ramona Singer — Google review
Must todo at this Island. Great natural place. But be prepaired. The journey to this spot is quite dangerous because you have to drive a very unstable road and climb across stones
Anton Stangl (Belephor) — Google review
The waterfall was completely dry (it's the dry season) but still nice lush forest around
Ken Saraf — Google review
This place was actually quite nice. The drive to the falls is gorgeous (possibly dangerous if you’re a novice or reckless scooter driver) and the brief hike down is lovely. No entrance fee and no people when I went (May 2022). Plenty of water and quite refreshing to rinse off in. Careful of the slippery rocks though!
Ryan Chachi Craig — Google review
Was here in the dry season of january so no waterfall to be seen. But if you travel here by motorbike it is defenitely worth it just from the journey itself! It feels like a scene out of the junglebook movie
Daniel Gunnar — Google review
Amazing waterfall (if you come during or afyer rainy season of course. August - December). You have to climb a little bit down. But there is a kind of staircase. If its not too wet this is easy. But it cost a "few" drops of sweat which you can re-fill later at the very nice restaurant upstairs in front of the waterfall. Once at the waterfall you need to climb again if you want to swim in the pond. A good pair of shoes / sneakers is recommended (a little more then just flip-flops). In the beginning is also a little path to the left from the stairs which brings you to the top of the waterfall. Be careful not to slip there
Sven — Google review
I went in april, the hottest month of the year so almost no water. However, the scenery was spectacular and the drive was definitely worth it. It's really nice nature on the road to there as well. And at the entrance there is a very sweet lady that can make you some food or sell some drinks.
Tom Depr — Google review
Long ride for this waterfall , I would say the date that I came it’s raining season and it have too much water so we could not play or dip in to the water at all. Make sure that your scooter is ready to take adventure for this trip
Wanunya TH. — Google review
Very nice waterfall. Road is gravel in the last stretch so mind how you go. Great pancake at the homestay after the visit. There s also a hydroponics farm.
Koen Vanhoutte — Google review
The waterfall is beautiful and accessible. You need to follow the local (paper) map since on google the road is not shown. You arrive to some homestay near the entrance to the waterfall. There are nice stairs to descend to the water, however, it is quite difficult to access the water and swim there. Be careful!

Ko Kradat is an idyllic island with sandy shores, a deer sanctuary, and vibrant coral reefs. The seafront resort offers simple accommodations for visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings. Tourists can explore the island on a three-person bike ride while admiring the serene beaches along the way. Additionally, nearby small islands are easily accessible on foot for those seeking more adventure.
Nvery nice island Ko Kradat where is deer farm. We got a bike for three ppl and could ride around the island. Very nice beaches are also there and we walked to visit next two very small islands which are nearby.

Small private island near Ko Mak. You can get there from Laem Son beach (easternmost Ko Mak's beach) by boat. There is a high probability you will have all beach just for you.

This 500 year old tree is beautiful, a place inside the jungle but easily reachable by scooter!
Cristiano Villani — Google review
This giant maca is 40 meters tall and approximately 500 years old. And giant banyan tree the road to see the trees is quite far, but the trees are not far from the road, nice to see. very big tree And this long life .
Nani Wolff — Google review
Definitely a place you should see. Sure it’s just another tree but it’s just another beach another cafe as well and still people go there. Preferences are different as is every single sight even if it feels very similar at first. I think it’s quite impressive. Please don’t litter like many others do and maybe pick up some of the trash as well. Try to make a change!:)
Fabian Weiler — Google review
If your in the area it's worth the bit if a drive to see. A very peaceful forest which has the 500 plus year old majestic tree. Take a moment to give thanks, gratitude, take in the silence of the forest as you gaze upon this beautiful tree.
Nadia German — Google review
Another big old tree. Impressive. Again offerings including dresses hanging in the trees.
simon clarke — Google review
Wonderful experience, you can't miss it! Wonderful, impressive 500 years old tree surrounded by untouched jungle. Getting there is relatively easy driving tour scooter on a very easy untarmacked road. Being close and touching Mayakuk is a strong spiritual experience, inevitably you will think how many things have happened in the history that did not touch Mayakuk, protected by his beautiful jungle. Many people leave offers to the tree, the beautiful thing is that nobody steals that money. In my country it would last a few seconds before someone took it all. How honest and clean Thai people have, we have a lot to learn from them. Not far from the tree, a few minutes drive, you will find a wonderful waterfall. Just go! Don't miss this beautiful experience.
Paolo Marletta — Google review
Beautiful 500 year old tree wraped in capes to keepnthe spirit. Have a close look at the gigantic root network in the ground. Mosquito repellent might be helpfull. Tree is located a hundred meter behind of where the dirt road starts
Sven — Google review
It's pretty cool to see. Beware of the slippery road on the way there
ruben nb — Google review
Beautiful tree. Worth going. When u follow Google map, the last bit is not very accurate. Follow the local sign for ‘Makka Yuk, Sai Yai’. You will eventually get to here.
Tomtom Z — Google review
Google path is wrong. Necessary to take another turn. We dicided to visit this place without expecting a lot, just on the way to waterfall. But itbwas 100% worth it, the tree is huge! As well stepping just a few meters insode of the forest we could feel, that the forest is alive and full of sounds, amazing.
Alina Alinichenko — Google review
Stumbled upon this by chance, something you normally only see in a National Geographic documentary. If you on the island don’t pass up an opportunity to take a little scooter ride out to see this magical spot, the tress is truly massive and no photo can actually capture its true size and beauty.

Bang Bao Beach

Beaches
Bang Bao Beach is a picturesque paradise with crystal clear waters and lush greenery. The beach features beautiful palm trees and soft, clean sand. While the swimming quality is excellent, there are some concerns about overdevelopment and increasing tourist numbers leading to higher prices. However, the southern edge of the beach offers a more laid-back atmosphere with shallow waters. Despite being part of a resort, visitors can access the beach without any additional fees.
I love this beach for the the sunset and the morning seawater.. khlong chao maybe the claimed to be the most beautiful beach but I rather prefer this small beach. Renting the kayak here is also cheaper than the one other

Looks good, but actually the whole beachfront belongs to hotels. But you are able to get in and stay at the beach. A lot of palm trees give shadow. Posh bar and restaurant. One of the less attractive beaches on this island full of beautiful beaches.

I have traveled all over Thailand... this beach is clearly one of the most beautiful! I recommend for snorkeling lovers to go to the very last jetty on the left side 🐠🐡 really a lot of beautiful fish and corals. it's a piece of paradise!

This beach was very beautiful! Waters were crystal clear, and can see quite a few fish. There is a small slide at the end of the pier and there is also a wooden diving board. Please be careful and do not dive head first because the water is actually very shallow.

very beautiful beach can recommend to everyone The beach is in a resort, you are allowed to go to the beach and you don't have to pay anything so don't worry before you buy something to drink or snack. There is only a resort shop here which is very expensive. for your information

Dream like beach. The best beach we experienced yet on ko kood and ko Chang combined. It's perfect for swimming. The water is very clear and scooter parking nearby is for free. We were even astonished about the small amount of people on the beach during the afternoon.

One of the best beaches on Koh Kood, you can find there flying fishes, u can also find better places to eat nearby :)
Jakub Pawella — Google review
Beautiful calm bay on the island of Koh Kood. Unfortunately surrounded by resorts but you can just walk through them to get to the beach. The tide comes up quite high onto the resort's and there is limited sand beach. There are piers out of most of the resort's into the bay . If you face the sea , the left side of the bay has sand beach even on higher tides 👍. Lovely bay with fish all over the shallow rock outcrops.
Heidi Schmitz — Google review
Swimming quality 5*! Calm clear clean warm water, gets deeper by the pier for a proper swim. Soft sand, clean beach. Sad thing is faint smell of sewage in river behind the dive school, leading to beach by the resort in front. It’s also getting overdeveloped and busier, lots of tourists and prices that go with it. Only more expensive resorts here , exception is Sea &Sand , a 1* accommodation which has a bohemian vibe bar at the southern edge of beach, very shallow waters there.
MNML journey — Google review
Simply Paradise! It is approx 200m from the main road. Bungalows are just 10m from the beach... Actually on the beach 😁 At the time I was there, July 3-6,there were barely any guests... Not more than 30 people so that the beach was almost empty and quite and I could only hear waves and birds clearly. Restaurant is pricey, but expected, in comparison to Bangkok, noodle soup with sea food 120BHT, oysters 220BHT. No shop in the bay but 15min walking to the shop on the main road. It was one in the best places I've ever been!

Main pier on the island Of Koh Kood where ferry’s arrive. Some nice seafood restaurants and small Homestays on the village, which is situated on top of the water of a stunning bay. A giant Buddha statue on the temple welcomes everyone as you can spot it’s golden shape from far away on the sea. Definitely worths visiting

In this pier boat and catamaran are going forward and back to the mainland (Laem Sok Pier). Is a quite little pier but is well organized. A big statue of gold buddha is also there

What a place to arrive at from the mainland. I hadn’t seen any images of the arrival so seeing the entrance to the bay was spectacular for me. The fishing village spreads along the coast too. Such a great sight. Ferry with Boonsiri was excellent as usual.

Small ferry port to the mainland. 60min. Boats are quite big and have a decent (not too cold) AC. Price is 500Bt per person (12/2022) incl. pick up ar hotel. Dept time 9:00, 9:30, 11:30, 12:30 and later. 12:30 is the one to take together with the Bus to Bangkok (only Khao San): 1.100 Bt in total and 6-7 hours. Pier might be quite small in high season when mainy people come.

Yesterday evening, I had the pleasure of trying out Pizza & Pasta after weeks of indulging in Thai cuisine. The food was fresh and delicious; both the pizza and pasta were exceptional. The owners, a delightful couple, made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a wonderful dining experience. In addition to their delectable dishes, they also offer a selection of tasty wines and appetizers like bruschetta.
After 3 weeks of almost only Thai food we really enjoyed the pizza and the pasta yesterday evening. Everything was fresh and the owner and his wife are lovely people. Can definitely recommend to go there. We will go again today or tomorrow as we unexpectedly found a nice beach today but for sure we will go again. The wine was nice, also we had bruschetta as a starter which we enjoyed. When you ask for the bill there is a very nice gesture from the owner… very tasty as well! Will not say what it is but let you be surprised

Great pizza with plenty of topping. The base seemed like shortcrust pastry (pie crust) which was delicious.
Leigh Murrell — Google review
We came here with a family of 4 people, and we were very satisfied with the food. As the name claims, they serve a very wide variety of pizza and pasta. The pizza here is delicious, and so is the pasta but there’s also a good range of deserts you can pick from Pasta- the pasta comes in big portions, so I recommend sharing one between two people Pizza- the pizza did not disappoint, it tastes amazing, with a fairly thin crust. Desert- I definitely recommend the hot chocolate cake, but every single option on the dessert menu is amazing. The chocolate pizza is also something worth trying, I recommend sharing it between 2 or more people
Stepan Mostoviy — Google review
Amazing Italian restaurant with friendly owner and staff. The food was delicious. The pizza is really, really amazing. Fusilli with pesto Verde, also tasty! Also, leave some room for the dessert, we tried panna cotta with strawberry and warm chocolate cake with home made coconut ice-cream. The setting is in a beautiful green garden with lots of flowers and greenness. The service was fast, professional and helpful. I highly recommend. Will be definitely coming again to try more dishes.

The Fisherman Hut Koh Kood is a charming restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience enjoyable. They offer a variety of Thai and international dishes, with an emphasis on fresh fish prepared to your preference. The prices are fair, the portions generous, and the overall environment is that of a genuine restaurant rather than just an eatery.
Super duper delicious!!! The best restaurant in Koh Kood. Big portion with great taste and great price! (Price per head is around 350B. 👍) The owner is very friendly too.

This was our first meal when we arrived to Koh Kood and it was delicious. Staffs were very welcoming, with a smile. They informed us at night their place is full of customers as they have live music. As for lunch, only a few diners. They have free wifi to past the time. We had a fresh coconut, tomato smoothie, glass noodle salad with fish and a pork stir fry with basil. All were tasty and prices were fair. Unfortunately we didn’t make it back for live music but we would recommend this place for lunch. They also serve wine.

Found this place by accident and ate a lovely vegetarian lunch there then went back on Christmas eve. They fitted us in even though we hadn't booked. Excellent food, good service and very reasonable prices - the only reason our bill was so high was because we treated ourselves to Prosecco with the meal. Highly recommend the BBQ fish and seafood dishes, cooked perfectly.

View Point Cafe' is a charming spot that offers stunning sunset views, making it a popular choice for tourists. The cafe provides standard tables and lovely benches by the water. While some find the cocktails to be weak, others appreciate the friendly staff and reasonably priced food and drinks. Visitors recommend trying dishes like Tom kha Gai, panang curry, massaman curry, and stir-fried chicken with garlic and pepper.

This was the best place we found on Koh Kood. Incredible views - a must for sunset drinks. Very friendly staff (with such speedy service, even when very busy!). Food is great value, as are the drinks (someone in a previous view mentioned they were overpriced - we found them to be very similar to other places in the vicinity, and in some cases, cheaper)

Mark Tonders — Google review
Very beautiful location, you will enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in your life, just in front of you while you sip on your mohito. The place is really cute, offering standard tables but also some lovely little benches just above the water. Customers are mainly tourists, I believe due to the prices which are close to European prices. A mohito costs 200 baht (6 euro). Cocktails are watery, one hardly feels any alcool inside. Go there to buy the experience and the atmosphere and don't expect any special food or drinks or service (the staff is by far less welcoming and kind and helpful than average Thai standard). Mini parking for scooters only available just in front. Hope my review was helpful. Ciao!

Noochy Seafood is a casual spot that may not be the best for a romantic dinner, but it's definitely a great place for seafood lovers. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, with some standouts like delicious crabs and scallops. While the atmosphere may not be fancy, the food is described as an absolute masterpiece with impressive presentation and taste. Some recommended dishes include raw shrimp salad, grilled lobster, and fried curry fish.
This place is amazing! The seafood was so fresh and delicious. The service was great, also the price was so cheap. I will definitely come here again!

Great place for seafood with a nice view. Raw shrimp salad was very fresh and tasty, grilled lobster very good too. Fried curry fish was good too but would recommend to go for raw, grilled or steamed products instead. Sea urchin are also available for a super cheap price- not super strong in taste but still very good !

Find something for dinner, I see this restaurant has many good reviews. I see some bad reviews but I guess they went there on high season, so just tried it. Their food is delicious tbh, we was so full then cannot finish the big crab fried rice(size M but big af). Total bill: 1540B Worth for the quality foods I think

We liked the freshness of the food and that children help around with family business. The food itself was okay and the taste was too sweet for savoury food especially the squid dish which should be spicy and sour. Maybe it’s normal as I got told from friends that people in this region eat quite sweet. The tamarind prawns were the best amongst the dishes we ordered (they are supposed to be a bit sweet). Overall. It’s an okay place for our visit.

I visited this restaurant for lunch. The restaurant was located closed to the river. The ingredients were fresh. They cooked very dishes. The price was reasonable. The service was great.

Amazing amazing food, by far our favorite food on the island. We ordered soft shell crab stir fried in yellow curry, grilled scallops, and tom yum. We devoured everything, so so delicious. The chili vinaigrette that came with the scallops was perfect. We wanted to come back here a second time!!

One of my favorite restaurants on the island! Great & fresh seafood! Really enjoyed the crab 🦀 with pepper/garlic. Offtopic: The location is a little away in the east, but it’s a fun motorbike ride getting there and seeing the clear starry sky by night.

The seasoning is delicious but the crab, scallops and mantis shrimps are kinda small and chewy. I ordered fresh oysters and they were not served ice cold. I don’t agree with the five star reviews for this place because there are better seafood elsewhere… However, the fried chicken and French fries were very crispy and delicious (surprisingly for a seafood restaurant). When you wash your hands at the sink you could see the water and soap drain directly into the sea. I saw the waitress throw some trash directly into the water as well. Does not seem very environmental friendly.

Very fresh seafoods & the price is really agreeable. Only 1000 baht for our meal. The restaurant is located remotedly therefore if you ride a motorbike, you should be here early for lunch or early dinner; it may get dark after sunset. Highly recommend!

Fresh and delicious seafood. Large variety of choice too. It’s a little far from the center of the island but totally worth it.

All seafood is fresh but a bit salty. Every food on the menu looks good!!. The amount of food in each dish is large. And then the price is relatively cheap.

The food was generally very good, but the mussels weren't freshly cooked. They looked like they stayed after being cooked. Crabs and scallops were super delicious. Sadly there was no lobster and we ordered mantis shrimps instead but I didn't like them. The restaurant is not fancy at all, a bit too big and looking more like a cheap bar. The sink in the toilet was clogged, the staff not very friendly so it's not a place to go for a romantic dinner, rather a good spot for seafood lovers.

Delicious grilled squid. Extremely fresh and tasty. I prefer grilled prawns to not have butter added though. The dipping sauce was spicy and flavourful. Such a great combination. Three dishes and two drinks came to about 1,050 baht.

I recently dined at Noochy Seafood in the lsland, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and stylish decor. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, which offered a delightful variety of dishes. The food here was an absolute masterpiece. The presentation was as impressive as the taste – a true feast for the senses. What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service. The waitstaff was friendly, accommodating, and ensured that my dining experience was top-notch. In summary, this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way – exceptional food, outstanding service, and a charming ambiance. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delectable offerings. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Very delicious pizza and pasta! Truly outstanding flavor and quality of Italian food found on an island! The portions are large and fills you up! I got the pizza with spicy salami and the explosion of so many flavors was just outstanding! Price is what you would expect to pay at a western restaurant on an island!

Simply a REAL ITALIAN restaurant with amazing food. The place looks cozy and fancy with all table and chairs painted white…very summer style! We loved it! The staff and chef are from Italy so we were hoping for a good food experience but actually we’ve got much more!!! Appetisers of Salad and Caprese (both looks like painting) just super fresh, tasty and delicious. Then we wanted to tried one pasta and one pizza because we didn’t really know what to order and…both amazing! Again!!! Pizza is one of the best we had in our life and pasta (homemade) was indescribable! Tagliatelle Bolognese better than in Italy! We finished with a dessert (they had 7 different and all homemade) but for this we forgot the pic! Tooooo excited to try it! In conclusion we god an amazing experience, good food, excellent staff. If we will be back in Koh Kood for sure this place will be on the list! JUST TRY IT!!!!!!

I can’t believe that such an amazing restaurant exists, especially on such a small island like this one. The food, the service and the atmosphere — everything is top notch I kid you not. I also didn’t expect the portions to be that big. Everything was delicious, even exquisite I should say. I’ve been to many different restaurants all over the world and this one is the best place I’ve ever been to. The waitress helped me with pizza choice, I do not consume meat, but wanted margarita with mushrooms, so she offered a fungi but without ham; she also brought an ice cream with a little candle, that was very sweet of her to congratulate me on my birthday 🥹 And she packed a half of the pizza to take away. If I could give 1000000 stars, I’d be happy to, but Google allows only 5. Love you guys, the best restaurant ever.

Oh. My. God. This was some of the best pasta I've had in YEARS. Clearly handmade, and so fresh. Pizza was very tasty too- best we've had in Thailand. Service was incredibly friendly and the restaurant is very cute. What a gem!

Been here at Koh Kood so many times but just found this place accidentally. We ordered lasagna, ravioli and another delicious dish of pasta which are so goodddddd. The price is reasonable compared to the size of the dish. The taste,to me, is better than Zanotti or Lenzi. Highly recommended. 👍👍

Pretty good! Pizza crust could have been a bit more airy, but that's just a small thing. Overall very satisfied. The portions were larger than I expected. 👍
