Ristorante Bar da Maria offers delicious cuisine and has a friendly owner and staff. Although they have limited English proficiency, they make an effort to understand basic Italian spoken by average foreigners. The wine selection is exceptional. The restaurant serves excellent homemade pasta with fresh truffle, along with a variety of tasty house antipasti. Located in a charming town, the atmosphere is cozy and casual. The staff is welcoming and helpful, providing great service. Additionally, the views from the restaurant are enchanting.
We went for lunch here after the visit of the caves. It's a very cozy place, up in the mountains 5min drive. The food was so delicious, had different Italian dishes as well the deserts. Reccomend!

Traditional Italian restaurant with great food. It's on the hill and has outstanding view.

Restaurant opened in the 80s and is like a time warp, however quite possibly one of the best lunches I've ever eaten. Menu in English, wait staff happy to do hand signals, made our toddler cheese and pasta, played with him and generally excellent service. I did not think they were over priced. 50 euro for 3 courses of lunch + wine + toddler food

Very tasty food, and very nice owner and staff. They don’t speak much English, but they are keen to understand the little Italian an average foreigner speaks. Also the wine they offer is very good.

I am from the Philippines and recently visited Italy for the first time. Trattoria Hosteria Da Marianna, located in a beautiful spot surrounded by mountains in Genga, is highly recommended. The waitress and owner were both lovely, and I heard that the person cooking is her mother, resulting in homemade-tasting food similar to "luto ni lola" (grandma's cooking). The restaurant offers delicious local dishes at affordable prices and provides a warm welcome to its customers.
I am from the Philippines and it was my first time to visit Italy. This place was so nice. The waitress was so lovely as well as the lady owner. I have heard that the person cooking is her mum and indeed the food tasted like homemade. As we say in Philippines, it’s like “luto ni lola!” Well done! I enjoyed the lunch a lot. This place is highly recommended.

Italian restaurant
Ristorante Francesco, situated near the grotte di frasassi, offers an excellent dining experience. The restaurant provides ample portions of high-quality dishes at affordable prices. For instance, one can relish a first course of pasta followed by a second course of meat with accompanying sides and regional wine for just 14 euros.
OMG! We just had the best Pappardelle al Cinghiale and Tagliatelle al Porcine e Salsiccia!! We then capped it with a delicious Mixed Grill. We may never leave. One of the best meals we've had here in Italy!

Close to the caves with a big terrace you can find Francesco. Food is quite good and they have French fries! Prices are steep but service is adequate.

I was there 2 months ago, I had a really good lunch with an humble but delicious starter, 2 first course(pasta) and 2 second course(meat) for a really good price
Gianluca Mengoni — Google review
What an unpleasant place. It starts that you are not allowed to choose your table. The owner is as well a very unfriendly person. Be aware that you get charged the cover fee of Euro 2.50 if you sit down. That means if you want to drink something, it costs you the drink plus the 2.50 Euro cover fee per person. The menu is a flyer. The food is made for tourists who will never return anyway. That says everything, and far too expensive. By far the worst Italian restaurant I have been to in a long time. The ambiance already says everything. You think you are at a train station. We were happy when we left this horrible place and experience behind.
Max Siegl — Google review
Absolutely a 5 star Italian restaurant serving delicious pastas and salads. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious wine. I recommend the wild boar pasta. They also have a reasonably 3 course meal.

Great restaurant if you're visiting the grotte di frasassi. Abundant and quality food for a really good price (for example, primo piatti of pasta, secondo piatti of meat with sides and wine of the región for only 14 euros)

Stumbled upon this hidden treasure on Google Maps. The proprietors are incredibly kind. The cuisine was delectable! The path leading to the Osteria may be a bit bumpy, but it is well worth the journey. I will definitely return. This extraordinary establishment is nestled in the heart of a natural park, offering mouthwatering regional dishes and exceptional hospitality.
Quiet little restaurant in a little town near the Grotti di Frasassi. Great alternative to the tourist traps near the parking lot of the Grotti. Local food, deliciously prepared. Terrace with view on the surrounding mountains.

Excellent meat and large servings. Service was slow, though. On a saturday evening we've been waiting 45 minutes between dishes and a good half an hour for the bill.
