Always a treat to come here - it's the perfect spot to have a break or start/finish the walk around the lake. The restaurant staff are very friendly and remember you. The food is excellent at all times of year - fresh, quickly prepared, perfect examples of local cuisine. Today we enjoyed some trout, schnitzel, and polenta with creamy wild mushroom sauce. There's also a big selection of ice cream-based desserts, and local specialties like apfelstrudel and kaiserschmarrn. It's a big place, with indoor and outdoor seating, but I've never seen it really full, and think of it as a relaxed, cozy restaurant. Do watch out for the kitchen opening times (you can call ahead to check but for example now, in July, the hot food is served only until 3pm). They are also OK with (well-behaved) dogs inside. There is plenty of free parking, and a good playground for kids next to it

Menu consists of I'd say around 50 pizzas! Different themes of pizzas, light, heavy, seafood, and traditional pizzas. They also have some salads to pick from. The most expensive pizza is 11 euros! Unbelievable :) The pizza also comes very fast. I found it fascinating to watch the pizza man make pizzas so fast! A great small selection of desserts also cheap!
