One of the most interesting places I've visited so far in Central Asia. I thought about skipping the palace since it's a bit far, but I'm glad I came. Entrance is 15 som and comes with a guide (in my case, English speaking.) The "palace" is a beautiful blend of Tajik and neoclassical style. The exhibits on Tajikistan history and about the collective farm is very interesting as well. If you have questions, the guide is well-informed and prepared to answer.

The centre was built in the 1950s under the leadership of Urukhojaev, the head of the collective farm. Urukhojaev was a significant Tajik who sat on Soviet committees and was well known in the area around Khujand and in Tajikistan generally. The building had particular significance in 1992, when it was the site for the meeting of the Tajik Soviet which officially declared independence from the Sovet Union. It was the site where the 🇹🇯  was chosen. More recently, in the late 1990s it was also the site where peace conferences following the Tajik civil war were held. In particular, Tajik President  first came to prominence speaking at the Palace, and it was the site for a "plov of peace" which celebrated successful negotiations towards an agreed end to the Tajik civil war.

You would hardly believe it, but this palace was built in the 1950's as the headquarters of a kolkhoz, a collective farm from the Soviet era, and modeled after the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. The instigator for the construction was Urukhojaev, the Tajik head of the kolkhoz and one of the most important leaders of the Tajik Soviet republic in his time. The palace is the location where the independence of Tajikistan was declared in 1992 and where the appearance of the flag was determined. It is also a popular location for wedding photography. If you are in the area it is worth a visit.

(Translated by Google) It is a unique place that borrows the exterior of St. Petersburg's Summer Palace and reinterprets the interior with Tajik art. Although it is a bit far from the center of Khujand, the Tajik patterns and spaces with Tajik art that can be seen here are truly fantastic. It was one of the most memorable places I visited while I was in Khujand. If you have any chance to stop by Khujand, I highly recommend stopping by. (Translated by Google) In Tajikistan, one of the achievements of architectural thought of the 20th century is the Arbob Palace. It was built by simple farmers. The work was supervised twice by the Hero of Socialist Labor Saidhuja Urunkhodzhaev. The palace was built on Arbob Hill, hence the name of the complex. It took 7 years for the whole world to be built by residents of three villages. The artwork was made by four of the best masters of the republic over four years. The walls and ceilings of the building are painted with bright patterns. They contain four elements - water, fire, air and earth. There are also motifs of cotton fields, wheat, grapes and other fruits of this land. For interior decoration, craftsmen used carved ganch. All 8 small and one large halls are decorated with national ornaments. One of the halls of the palace houses exhibits from the office and photographs of the collective farm chairman. His chapan, white shirt, skullcap. Photographs of Urunkhodzhaev with both farmers and astronauts are also exhibited here. Many famous people knew him. During the time of Urunkhodjaev, farmers from his farm were awarded the high titles of Heroes of Socialist Labor. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Tajikistan experienced a civil war. At a time when the situation in the republic was very difficult, the fate of the people was decided in this palace. It was here that a sketch of the flag of an independent republic was demonstrated. Fateful decisions were made here. Today, many newlyweds come to the monument to Urunkhodzhaev on their wedding day and lay flowers here. Their fellow countryman spent a considerable part of his life in this palace and is buried next to it. The Arbob Palace, better known abroad as Urunkhodjaeva, although older, is striking in its scope. Dozens of columns, chandeliers, about a hundred rooms and about two hundred windows, exquisite interior decoration of the ceilings. And all this was built using the “hashar” method, by people who received several kilograms of wheat for their labor, although the collective farm named after Voroshilov, led by Saidkhodzha Urunkhodzhaev, spent more than $1 million on its construction. A long alley decorated with nine tulip-shaped fountains leads to the Arbob Palace. Then you are “greeted” by a monument to Lenin with a cap clutched in your hand. Behind the leader begins a large two-level reinforced concrete fountain with six large bowls and 27 cotton flowers and four peacocks.

(Translated by Google) Very interesting place! It is not located in the center, so not everyone comes there. It seems to me that this is in vain. Very beautiful view of the mountains, well-kept garden. There are fruit trees nearby. In spring, most likely, everything will be even brighter! A small museum dedicated to the history of this place from collective farms and farmers (Original)

Kamoli Khujandi Park is located in the center of Khujand. Park is pretty big and It’s a beautiful park with amazing flowers and walkways. We really enjoy walking with our kids. Staff is not the best. There are a lot of room for improvement. Fountains are broken and sometimes you can see the water coming outside from the fountain pools.

I would like to share my impression of the Kamoli Khudjandi Park in the city of Khudjand. It is simply an amazing place that I recommend everyone to visit. The park is very large and green, with many trees and shrubs that create a cozy atmosphere and protect from the hot sun. Everything here is well-groomed and clean, which pleasantly surprises. I especially liked the cable car, which allows you to cross the Syr River to the other side. The views from it are simply magnificent! I advise not to miss this moment. Inside the park, there are many souvenir shops, cafes where you can have a snack or a cup of coffee, as well as several children's attractions for the entertainment of the youngest guests. But, in my opinion, the most interesting thing in the park is the old fortress of Khudjand, which is located right inside the park. This is truly an impressive structure that will not leave anyone indifferent. In addition, there are fountains in the park that create a romantic atmosphere and just look beautiful. In general, I was very satisfied with visiting the Kamoli Khudjandi Park. This is a wonderful place for rest and entertainment, where you can spend a whole day enjoying nature and the beauties of the city of Khudjand. I will be happy to come back here again!

Mentioned on
If you a visiting Khujand it's worth to visit this place. One of the oldest Mausoleum in Tajikistan. Panjshanbe ( Thursday)Bazar is the oldest Bazar in Tajikistan and considered to be the oldest in Central Asia as well. The 5 big M of Central Asia's is 1 place😁😄 MARKET, MINARET, MUSOLEUM, MOSQUE, MADRASAH.
Oriz Dildorbek — Google review
Opposite the main entrance of the Panjshanbe Bazaar is the modest and simple brick mausoleum of the 12th century sheikh Muslihiddin. The two pale blue domes are populated by the many pigeons that live around the market square. The place of worship is now rarely open to the general public.

Nice place, rooms are clean but looks old. When I checked it, administration hold us for 10 mins to find out our reservation, made several phone calls. Then we entered our rooms. I had no hot water at first, I had to turn hot water myself and only at the evening hot water came. Breakfast is good not many options but enough if you stay for a day or two. Then the menu gets repetitive.

It was under renovations, so it was loud during the day, and the hallways smelled like sewage. But I think once it's done renovating, it will be pretty nice.

I'm not against this place, I want to give some advice to improve it. First of all, windows can't be opened properly. Air circulation inside the building needs to be fixed. It smelled awkward. No restaurant. Beautiful building. Kitchen is great. Staff is friendly.

Rooms look more like apartments as each space (bedroom, living room and bathroom with very little bathtube) are separated by doors. Confy place though international TV channels were not functioning when there. Breakfast was good and original but no pool no sauna available. Good place that could be improved to get a 4th star...
